Eps 0338 - The New Socialism is a PUBLIC-PRIVATE Partnership!

In the official trailer for this show, I speak about how the history of the World is a story of those who struggle for freedom and those who rule over those struggling to become free. The purpose of free people studying history is to avoid being ensnared by the schemes of future tyrants. To understand this history one has to search long and hard for those that can tell the TRUE history. As the state apparatus grows and gains power over institutions, it becomes increasingly difficult to discover this TRUTH. Today we look at an article in Mises.org by Dr. Guido Hulsmann where he traces the roots of this tyranny and how the liberalism of the US Founding initially excluded this history. The political division we see today is this coersion wielded by the state coming back into the body politic. It's confusing and not so easy to see the individual connections. We look into this history to remind our listeners about the past and give them the words to resist repeating these old ideas implemented many times in the sorted history of socialism.
