Episode 47 - Schall We Talk about Security's Date (Throwback Episode 2)

DID SECURITY GO ON A DATE?! 👀

Before we get into this week's throwback, we have a very important mystery to solve.

A woman from the dog park asked Security to get drinks. SHE paid. He walked her home. There was a hug.

Security insists it wasn't a date.

I have questions.

Mama Schall has thoughts.

And apparently so do all of us.

Once we settle that extremely important matter, we're going back to one of my FAVORITE Schall We Talk episodes ever.

One night I couldn't sleep. It was after 3 AM, my anxiety was running wild, and instead of scrolling on my phone, I decided to sneak into the studio and attempt to record an episode BY MYSELF.

I didn't even know if I had actually pressed record.

In this throwback episode:

• I get vulnerable about anxiety, my career, constantly worrying about what's next, and forgetting to appreciate what's happening right in front of me

• We turn the middle of the night into a sleepover and read some absolutely INSANE Reddit stories involving wedding dresses, secret wives and children, stolen furniture, fake proposals and DNA tests gone VERY wrong

• Dr. Piano Man wakes up, discovers his fiancée secretly recording a podcast in the middle of the night and, instead of telling me to come back to bed, SITS DOWN AND JOINS ME

This episode started because I couldn't sleep and had absolutely no plan.

And somehow it became one of the sweetest, funniest and most vulnerable episodes we've ever done.

Which is basically Schall We Talk in a nutshell.

And don't worry, the opening is BRAND NEW because even during wedding crunch time, we still need to determine whether Security is accidentally dating someone.
