What are you doing? Okay. Live from the heartland, and the crossroads of America. It's Tony Katz today. Had we not broken the, Barack Hussein Obama agreement, you know, that you know what I'm talking about, the brand nuclear deal. This is years ago, my first term.
You would have had a total, Israel would have been gone. That's the president of the United States, talking about the joint comprehensive plan of action, which was allowing Iran to proceed at pace. Please don't buy into the nonsense that somehow they weren't. Tony Katz, Tony Katz today, guys, good to be here, good to be with you. Two pilots rescued. That's gonna be the top story today. But Trump was there at the White House. There was an Easter egg roll, and the bunny was there, you know, the giant rabbit, not Donnie Darko. But the rabbit was there, and it turns out that the president did not need to be let around by the nose. This president actually knew where he was going and what he was doing. But before he got there, and you can hear it in the background, right? Now, the band is there and they home pop on the kids and they're rolling eggs and the whole jazz and somebody is sneaking some chocolate that they're not supposed to. The president spoke about to the press about Iran, Israel, all of it.
Extinguished. Israel would have been wiped off the face of the earth and the entire Middle East would have been at a minimum in big trouble. But I did it. That was phase one. We killed Salamani without Salamani. If they had Salamani, it would be a whole different thing. Maybe we'd still be winning, but it would have been harder because we are obliterating that country. And I hate to do it, but we're obliterating it. They just don't want to stay uncle. They don't want to cry as the expression goes, uncle, but they will. And if they don't, they'll have no bridges. They'll have no power plants. They'll have no anything. I won't go further because there are other things that are worse than those two. There's something very off-putting about a conversation about war and the destruction of regime backed by smooth jazz. It's, I'm with you. It's awkward, but I wanted to bring it to you because no fear of the microphone as we well know.
But first let's get into what happened here and how kind of amazing it is, the level of duplicity involved in getting these soldiers back. President Trump putting out there on true soldier, social over the weekend, we got in my fellow Americans over the past several hours. The United States military pulled off one of the most daring search and rescue operations in U.S. history. For one of our incredible crew member officers who also happens to be a highly respected colonel and who I am thrilled to let you know is now safe and sound. So this was an F-15 strike eagle, that F-15E strike eagle. That was shot down on Friday. Both pilots had ejected over Southwest Iran. The F-15E can fly low. So while many in the leftist press wanted to engage pontification about, ooh, what super secret abilities do the Iranians have,
it could have been a multiplicity of things that shot it down. It doesn't matter, it got shot down, which is why I would remind the president to the United States, don't call it an excursion and don't defend it, guys. Don't defend something that you know is a dumb way to explain things because it is indeed dumb. Never diminish what can happen at any time. This is war, bad things happen, friendly fire happens, all sorts of stuff happens. Don't ever make light of it, ever. I would also remind the left, stop cheering for America to lose your weirdo freaks because you sound like a bunch of weirdo freaks, but as we are going to see, these people are not Americans like we see Americans. We just know, nowhere near it. But what had happened was that the story is being put out to be that the CIA did this,
and I don't know what's true and what's not in this case. The CIA has made a lot of mistakes over a lot of years. But the CIA started pushing out because we got the one pilot, we didn't have the other pilot. Now it seems that we knew exactly where the second pilot was, the one in the back, the weapons officer, right? Pilot in the front, weapons officer in the back. It seems obvious that we knew exactly where he was, the United States knew exactly where he was, and that immediately they began the op to try and confuse the Iranians. Because the Iranians did exactly what they were going to do. They were going to find them, they were going to pray them around, they were going to torture them, they were going to hold them hostage and do all the things that hostage takers to, just take a look at Hamas. By the way, not only did Hamas take the hostages, they raped the women, they raped the men, the abuse, physical and sexual, psychological,
went on every day, 20 plus hours a day, and the Palestinian people lived there, knew where they were and did nothing. So don't ask me to find a lot of love in my heart, even though there are definitely people who live in Gaza who are abused by these terrorists every single day. That's what the Iranians were going to do. They had not only put out a bounty on them and a reward, they were gathering people together to go searching, mobs of people. And that's when you heard that there were other Iranians trying to stop them. That's the Iranians want America to be successful and Israel to be successful and they want this regime toppled. So they start putting out missives that this is going to be maritime. They start putting out messaging through channels that this rescue is going to happen via the sea, via the Gulf. Pulling the people and resources in one direction
while they engage in exfiltrating where this pilot actually was. Pilot was wounded, pilot was injured, the weapons officer. We're gonna find out more as, could be today as the president speaks, could be more as the days go on. In addition to the F-15, you, the F-15E strike eagle, you also had two A-10 warthogs. That were shot at and they had to land in Kuwait. It is weird to watch people who know absolutely nothing. I am not a graduate of the war college. I didn't need to be to have a cursory understanding of history. All battle plans go out the window with the first shot. They all do. Nothing is easy, nothing is quick. Everything takes time. And when you put timelines on things,
you are only destined for disaster, which is why the left has been so desirous of timelines. So they could say, see, see, didn't make the timeline up. It got longer than we thought. If you haven't learned anything from two weeks to flatten the curve, you haven't learned anything. If you haven't learned anything from red lines and all that jazz, if you don't enforce a red line, you don't have a red line. Barack Obama learned this. But he didn't learn. It just happened to him. Things are moving in a fine direction. Please don't think that the Iranians don't have capability and capacity even now. Even now, as it gets confirmed that the Israeli defense forces killed the Iranian Brigadier General Mahid Kademi, the intelligence chief of the IRGC, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, one of the most senior operatives, a guy who survived other attempts on his life
and was able to get out when others were killed. We are taking out hardware, we are taking out operations, we are taking out people, day by day by day by day. Of course, the Iranian regime was prepared for this. All they ever did was prepare for this. They figured they would have more capability to fight back than they do. It's not that they have no capability. And yes, it's going to continue to take time. I'm okay with this. Well, Tony, you're just fine with forever wars because you're just a neocon. Oh, bite me. It's too dumb to comprehend somebody who would say that. It has been five weeks, five years, forever war. Five weeks, we're just getting started. But I may have from other people, possibly from you. I think we'll at least be polite to each other. A different desire.
I may also have a different one from the president. I accept this. I absolutely accept that I may very well have a different desire than Donald Trump. Because for Trump, the rules of Trumpism apply. The first rule of Trumpism is that Trump wins. And the second rule of Trumpism is that a deal can always be made as long as it adheres to the first rule of Trumpism. You've heard me say this before. So Trump could decide that regime change is not necessary, but behavior change is necessary. And if that's done fine, good. They can't do a nuclear weapon for 20 years. We're going home. Thank you, Cleveland. Good night. Don't forget to try the wheel. He could totally do that. But you leave any remnant of the regime. I think that's a miss. I think that's failure. I might disagree about that. I don't think right now I'm not a believer that I'm going to get what I want.
Or at least I wasn't. That, you know, we got these guys out. It's incredible and amazing work. And the levels of deception, everything else. Incredible, amazing work. Terrific. And I am more and more. And I certainly was more and more. Especially after Trump's Wednesday speech, where if you missed the breakdown of that speech with myself and Steve Yates, it's over at the YouTube channel. Go to youtube.com, Tony Katz, and get it there. I said, okay. It seems to me that the president's going to go for behavior change, not regime change. And well, that's the way that one's going to go. And that's that in the end. Fine. And then he posted the post to posts. The post of posts of posts was on truth social. Where the president of the United States, his name is Donald Trump.
You've seen pictures. He wrote Tuesday will be power plant day and bridge day all wrapped up in one in Iran. There will be nothing like it. And then he writes, open the blank and straight, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in hell. Just watch. And then he says, praise be to... Ugh. He didn't say God. He didn't say Jesus. Like he was speaking to the mullahs directly. President Donald J. Trump. Praise be to... Praise be to Allah. He said it. President Donald J. Trump. And I read that. And I said, wow. That is a really stupid post. I mean, that's just ridiculous.
That's just silly. What is... What is that? Why? I hate tough guy crap. Can't stand it. You're already dropping bombs on them. Just keep dropping bombs on them. What is the tough guy stuff? I don't care about name calling. None of that bothers me. But this flies in the face of what you say to the nation on Wednesday. Oh, the straight will just open when it opens. It'll open naturally. It'll open slowly. It'll be fine. Open the straight. Open the blank and straight. He wrote, well, what is this? What is this? What is he doing? And my first reaction is it is often to his tweets. A guy called a tweet even though it's true social. Could he just not less posting more destroying of the regime, please?
I mean, if I'm getting my choice. And then I said, you know, there's another way to look at it. But this is the way the people who talk about Trump and 40 Chess look at it. And I've never, never been that guy. I have seen so much misdirection from this administration, from the Pentagon, that I wouldn't be surprised if it was put out for purpose. Like, it was so ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised. Now, that is me engaging in a full-on level of hope. What do I think? I think it was sitting on the can. It was tired of these people. And he wrote that. That's what I think. By the way, first time in my career, I believe I use the expression sitting on the can. Gosh.
No, I didn't like it. But he wrote it for a reason. I mean, he wrote it because he's frustrated. He wrote it because he's telling you something's coming. And this brings us to the follow-up, which was Tuesday, 8 p.m. I don't know. Tuesday, 8 p.m. at NBC. It's a remake of Blossom, my ambiolics back, and she's funnier than ever. And whoa, here comes Joey Lawrence. I don't know what's happening Tuesday at 8 p.m. I have no, by the way, my ambiolicic Joey Lawrence. Tell me, I don't know. I don't know. Was she 90s or she 80s? Whatever it was, I know things. I know things. I don't know what's going to happen Tuesday at 8 p.m. I don't know why he wrote this. I'm telling you, it's, you can't tell America on a Wednesday. It's going to open, the straight-up, and straight-up removal open on its own. And now, and then you're yelling at European nations
for not doing enough, and now you're yelling it around. None of it makes any sense. But I will leave to the possibility that it doesn't have to. I believe that the president was looking for a behavior change, not a regime change. This made me question whether or not that's the case. Maybe he still is. Maybe he considers that a win. But however we look at it, one thing is for sure. There is a gross section of America that wants us to lose. And those people have to lose. Not only do they have to lose this fight for hearts and minds, they have to lose in November. Because if we leave them, the JCPOAers, to run the country, we have no chance, and no possibility of winning when the moment counts. And we should be clear, this moment counts. I'll get more into it.
I'm Tony Katz. This is Tony Katz today. It was your boy B-Titty. Ashley Renee. Gee. And cue. You're cruel with the, what is you doing podcast? The only show where the sports takes a while, the bets are questionable, and the laughs are guaranteed. If you're into sports picks that sparks fights, parlay dreams that always go left. Pop culture chaos, and a kind of the base that'll make you yell at your phone. But this is the podcast for you. Catch every episode on all podcast platforms and watch the full unfiltered madness on YouTube. Subscribe now and ride with the crew because if you ain't told him, what are you doing? What are you doing? So there was a ruling that came out regarding the Second Amendment that was certifiable. Tony Katz. Tony Katz today. Good to be with you. This is the first circuit court of appeals. And what happened was, this was a post from the Firearms Policy Coalition. This was about, again,
the Second Amendment and the right to keep in bear arms. Well, in Maine, they want to have a waiting period. And it's like, no, that's violating my right to keep in bear arms. The first circuit in hearing an appeal says, no, no, no, no, no, no. We agree with the Attorney General's view that laws regulating the purchase or acquisition of firearms do not target conduct covered by the Second Amendment's plain text. The Amendment's plain text guarantees an individual's ability to keep in bear arms which means to have and carry guns. The act in Maine does not address this conduct. Rather, the act imposes the limitation in some circumstances when a person could acquire a firearm after the person purchased it. Their argument, ladies and gentlemen, in a moment of pure insanity,
is that once you have possession of the gun, the Second Amendment kicks in. But before you take possession, you can do anything we want and delay the possession. I'm utilizing the term possession. A legal expert may use a different term. The moral of the story is, these people are out of their heads. They're out of their minds. All they want to do is tell you that all persons born in the United States, plain text reading, you can text your list, it says what it says, it doesn't say what it doesn't say. Anybody born in the U.S. is a citizen. But the right of the people to keep in bear arms only happens after you're allowed to have possession and the state can decide when that is. That's not keeping me from my Second Amendment rights. If you let these people win elections,
they will find every way possible to screw you. Could we just not vote for them? Please, this is Tony Katz today. So how exactly does the military work a mission like that to save the pilot shot down in Iran? Tony Katz, Tony Katz today, good to be with you. Find everything I do over at TonyKatz.com. Live streaming on the YouTube, check it out for yourself, YouTube.com slash Tony Katz. The chat room is open. The phone number, because sometimes people ask, 833 got Tony, 833-468-8669. Major Mike Lyons joins me right now, retired United States Army, a military analyst, an hour guy, with the knowledge of what's happening. Let's talk about this, this exfiltration that took place. The level of deception that took place you were saying during the break, it's sunsoo, right? A warfare is deception. For sure. First, we talk about this plane,
the F-15E strike eagle being shot down. What can you tell us about this plane? I only know that it can do low altitude kind of work. Do you know how it was flying, what was happening, and how it was taken down? Yeah, it was flying in a low enough altitude that likely a man pad, a shoulder fire, S-A-7 or Sam, or something that was not part of this, you know, tied in global or, you know, regional air defense platform that Iran has. Those systems are gone. They can no longer defend their airspace at scale, but what they can do is have a one-off person like this individual who have pulled the trigger, and if the F-15 get low enough and all the conditions are set, it's possible that from the element of surprise that this could happen, which is likely what happened. I mean, again, commanders expect losses, and the fact that with over 20,000 missions now flown, they really only fired and shot down, what is it for, is the total number of aircraft,
and 810, a couple helicopters this one. So again, you know, they will probably review the low altitude missions at this point and might not use this aircraft again, because that's probably what happened. I don't want to say they got overconfident, but they probably didn't take this threat as that serious, because that was likely what it took it down. So the plane is shot down. Both pilots eject one pilot was quickly recovered. That's the actual pilot. Then you have the weapons officer in the rear. Do we have any understanding of what happened to him after he ejected? Well, no, only reports have been sketchy coming from different individuals who say that they have this information. We'll probably hear more from the president here at one o'clock. You'll want to tell this story. But they were obviously separated by a distance. They would have been picked up both at the same time. But what we're hearing, he was injured and in a classic style of this combat search and rescue mission,
there's a certain template playbook that goes out there. He has on his person encrypted ways to communicate, because in the old days, the chair was a certain one of a beacon that that becomes a beacon for everybody. The enemy can see that as well. So that's why he has to get away from that as best as he can. If it's pilots and airmen take a course called series, escape and evasion, resistance, course, survival course, that's pretty difficult day. They offered it actually back to the military academies when I was going there as well. Very challenging. And in this case, it's designed to simulate what specifically could happen to you if you're captured. Well, the first part of it is getting away, evading the enemies, the most important thing, and having the guile. And what keeps those pilots and airmen going is the fact that they know someone's going to come after them and the combat search and rescue guys are going to come after them. So right now, we know there was a great distance. He had to go about 7,000 kilometers up a ridge line where he held it, where he held his position there
and then decided to signal that that's where he was at and then the plan went in place to pick him out of there. Talking to Major Mike Lyons, retired United States Army, military analyst, a mission like this for X-Field. And hearing the CIA taking credit for, a credit being given to the CIA. I don't know what's true there, isn't. About pushing that, hey, this was a maritime operation where we're going to hit him at the coast or that's where he is to misdirect. You would think that they would already get the hint that everything we're saying can't be trusted by any level. But that level of misdirection, what's happening with this White House or this Pentagon and stuff that I appreciate and that I like from what you know of the mission to get him back. Exactly how difficult is something like this. Yeah, extremely difficult. And again, the planning that it took to set up that misdirection to basically tell the Iranians, hey, we have them and we're going to get them to this certain spot. It was all about to take any IRG forces
that could possibly have been in the area and get them moving in a different direction totally. We know that Reaper Drone was well above the clouds and would use to protect the individual. Anybody that got in three kilometers of them was subsequently taken out by the drone. And so it was designed because they knew that they would likely meet some level of resistance when they got into the ground based on the amount of material that they were bringing in. Delta Special Forces, Navy SEALs and the like. And so again, all of warfare is deception and that is true today as it was back in Sunsoost time. And this shows you that the CIA, along with the Israeli Mousad, I'm sure that they had a lot to do with this as well. I know that they had troops on the ground helping this as well. It's easy to slow the enemy in the fall center security when that enemy is desperate for a win. They were desperate to find that pilot. They were absolutely had to have and wanted the propaganda,
wanted this to be this kind of North Korean moment there. And when you're desperate for a win like that, you make bad decisions and that's what ended up helping us get them out of there. So we get this pilot. We're able to show we can get our people at a moment's notice and you bring up the idea of they were desperate to have this trophy and the abuse would have just been horrifying. Is this demoralizing for the Iranians or is that a bit of guesswork to which they know they're losing. They know they're being hit. They know they're being attacked. They know that they keep losing people. The Israeli is confirming today the taking out of the intelligence chief of the IRGC, Kademi KHA, DEMI. Does this further demoralize what could be any level of Iranian resistance? And does it improve the odds of the people taking on the IRGC sooner rather than later?
I think the IRGC gets taken on once we take out their infrastructure, once we take out the grids, what the President plans on doing tomorrow. Let's hope he does. I think that's all part of finishing this job. I think that's going to be an important element of this. I don't think this alone does it. This is a very resilient regime that's been around for a long time and can suffer many losses, appear to have decentralized a lot of things. So for example, we know that they had groups, small area groups in the location where they thought the pilot was, that were able to fight. So that combined them with the Basige, which is the local town and local cops, there's still a pretty large resistance that from my understanding from the intel community that's still kind of out there, it's going to take that light's getting shut down and the people having more weapons, having more opportunity to do that. Can we get that? Can we get into that for a moment? We can take care of the dogs too. No, no, hey, please, what are you going to do? Yeah, somebody loves puppies and I think that's fine.
Talking to major, my clients, retired United States Army military analyst. Let us break this down a little bit because you said I hope they do. And very much we have seen President Trump take the tact of, I could hit the refinery here, I could hit the power thing there, I could hit the grid here, I could hit the infrastructure there. But then we have to rebuild that and I don't want to do that. You're saying you hope we do it. Talk to me about its effect, talk to me about its ripple effect on the people of Iran who now have to deal with the fact that this part of their grid, this infrastructure is gone. Yeah, if we need to wage war and wage war means by all means taking away from the enemy has to do that. And everything in Iran is dual use. Watching politicians get out there and try to say that this is a bunch of war crimes, it's just a bunch of nonsense. The grids that they have support the IRGC, they'll be very strategic about what they take down and what they take out.
But let's take the oil refineries, for example. You could take out areas just before them and maybe we can control those. But it's probably right. They're not in any buddies interest to destroy them necessarily what's the president's threatening I do. But again, what's it going to take for the IRGC to lose their power there? And so again, we're at this next logical step of escalation. And sometimes you have to escalate to de-escalate. And so I think that's a good thing. And I really would like to see bridges dropped. I'd like to see much more infrastructure gone after. And I'd like to see. And I get it, the Iranian people might have some hardship to go through. But that's how countries wage war on another. So now let's do this again. Because I agree with you that the people screaming war crimes are people who will scream that for anything. They don't care if they're correct. That part is inconsequential. But this idea of ratcheting up. It does that mean that there's been a recognition that the IRGC
is not going to break until they're broken. And then the follow up there, forgive me to do two questions at once. You said that the infrastructure exists for the IRGC. We heard this about the B1 bridge, which the president, and the Pentagon took out just a few days ago. People saying, my gosh, this major artery between Tehran and another city. But we learned that it's a bridge only used by the IRGC to move weapons and to move their personnel. Right. So this idea that the infrastructure is for the IRGC's use. Can you expand on that? Yeah, I mean, they've built it for themselves. It's the primary objective is to move vehicles, equipment, ballistic missiles, and the liking to different areas. Rail lines, all those things are all about moving these weapons forward. The IRGC has been preparing for this war for the last 47 years as well. They had a couple of little starts and stops with a war in Iraq that was, you know, again, more or less on their border went back and forth. They decided to tap out of that back in the 80s.
But again, this is all dual use stuff because the IRGC runs the country. You know, they're not. They don't have, you know, take out schools and take out obvious civilian targets. Most of the infrastructure are designed to support what the IRGC's doing, especially anything that has to do with the oil refineries because that's how they make their money. And so again, I think it's all open for discussion. I think it's all open for targeting. I'd like to see us take those refineries. I think that's going to be a difficult military mission. I'm not sure we've hit that island enough militarily that we would have some kind of casualties. I've said before, Commanders expect losses. And the fact that we were able to get and capture that pilot, for example, that having another casualty, thank God. But I do think that if we do launch some kind of ground operation into Carg Island or so, there's got to be some expectation that there will be some casualties. I think the most important number on the board right now that's probably in the White House is a number of 13. It's on the upper right-hand corner. That's the number of U.S. casualties so far to date.
And that number's got to stay there. In order for the American public to at least go along, what's going on? I'm glad we dug in on the second part of the question. The first part can wait for another time. Major Mike Lyons retired, United States Army military analysts. Follow him on the X-MAJ for Major. Mike Lyons, L-Y-O-N-S. Major, I appreciate you taking the time. Moore is coming up. This is Tony Katz today. It was your boy B.T.E. Ashley Renee. G. And Q. You're a crew with the What is you doing podcast? What's your thought on Mexico's president moving away from cash? I'm like, with everything going on, I have not heard that story. Tony Katz, Tony Katz today, guys, an absolute pleasure to be here and to be with you. If we're talking about, first, I oppose the cashless society. Oppose it. When I see stadiums, concerts, sporting events, all the rest, you know, and they're like, we don't take cash here. That should not be allowed. Absolutely should not be allowed. And the states, which all have some kind of authority over the stadium, should say no. Cash is good for all debts, public and private. You take cash. But this, this, you know, the story was about how Claudia Shinebound, the Mexican president, said that cash payments at gas stations and toll booths will be banned by the end of 2026. Now, if you told me you were moving to allowing for digital currencies, like Bitcoin, Ethereum,
all the rest, you own what you own, I own what I own. Well, I'm fine with decentralized currencies. Digital currencies. The idea that we get rid of actual dollar bills. And we replace it with a card that is to the government, that's insane. And the people who favor digital currency are out of their heads. They're gross, despicable people. You want the government to control what it is you buy? Because that's exactly what's going to happen. You have yourself a digital currency and then you have digital medical records. And then as you're going to buy the Snickers bar, it looks up your digital medical records and decides you're just a little too heavy or your A1Cs aren't right so you can't have this candy bar. And it denies the purchase. You're move. If you say to me, Tony, you've seen too many of those dystopian future novels.
The answer is, yeah, that's why you don't allow digital currency. Stop it from happening. You got to be out of your mind to have to do that.
