Episode #329: Finding Strength, Guidance & Trust in Difficult Times
About this episode
Some of our greatest spiritual growth happens during the moments we wish we could skip.
When life feels heavy, uncertain, or overwhelming, it’s natural to ask for guidance. But spiritual support doesn’t always arrive by removing the challenge. Sometimes, the guidance is simply a reminder: You have the strength to walk through this.
Difficult experiences can become opportunities to build confidence, deepen trust in ourselves, and strengthen our connection to something greater. Practices such as visualization, prayer, meditation, or simply becoming still enough to listen can help us reconnect with that inner and spiritual support.
And sometimes, reassurance appears in unexpected ways.
A hummingbird. A dragonfly. A familiar song. A perfectly timed memory of someone we love who has passed. Whether we understand these moments as spiritual signs, synchronicities, or deeply personal reminders, they can bring comfort when we need it most.
Perhaps the question isn’t always, “How do I make this difficulty go away?”
Maybe it’s, “What is this experience helping me become?”
The challenges we’re navigating today may be strengthening the very wisdom, compassion, and resilience we’ll someday use to help someone else.
Sometimes the sign doesn’t tell us where the road leads.
It simply reminds us that we’re supported while we travel it.
May this conversation be beneficial to your life journey. Many blessings!
