Episode 2432 - Prepare....to Repair.

0:00Good, well early afternoon, hope you're having an awesome last day of the year. So as always we're going to share two thoughts, one that goes into the first day of Yantive and one that will take us to the second day. The first day that I want to go ahead and discuss is today. The day where everyone's running around really busy with the following word, preparing. Preparing is what we do when we get ready for a holiday. However, the preparation usually is about things like chalas and cooking and cleaning and whatnot. But the truth is the real preparing is preparing to repair. Repairing is really what the whole holiday is all about. So of course take care of those massive hierarchy of needs that have to be taken care of in order to go into the Yantive. But remember that the goal of preparation is to repair. Preparing for repairing is what Russia shun us all about. Repairing relationships, repairing our midos, our characteristics, repairing our goals and what it is that we really see is important.

1:00So don't get lost in preparations. Use those preparations to explore the areas where repairing can go ahead and take place. Everybody's got a little area out. Listen, just like when you own a home over time things start to fall apart a little bit or you want to update certain things because there's new and better so too with the home of our soul. Our person as well requires constant repairing and updating. So therefore this Yantive think about which areas. You can't do it all overnight. No one's got the bank account to look at their house and say I'm going to do it all a huge big makeover. But if you're going to pick one or two places where would that start to happen?
