About this episode
In this episode, we have a great conversation with Simon from Australia. If you would like to reach out to him, his email is: [email protected]
Update 1: In the conversation I mentioned the strike that killed Jacob Flickinger, 33, a new dad, and his fellow World Central Kitchen (WCK) staffers who had just delivered more than 100 tons of food to northern Gaza. He was a Canadian Forces Veteran of 11 years, not a US Veteran as I had mentioned. He was however, a dual (US & Canadian) citizen. He was known as an “exceptional human being” who made the tough choice of leaving behind his 18-month-old son to contribute to the humanitarian efforts in Gaza, where hundreds of thousands of refugees are at risk of starvation. My apologies.
