About this episode
Trident Immolation is a difficult, summer race down in south Florida. It's set on the beautiful, soft, white sand dunes at Jupiter Ridge Natural area. Imagine this, late July, south Florida, 1,000,000 % humidity, real feel 110+, heat coming off the sand, even higher, noon start, 80 miles in 3.33 mile chunks every hour for 24 hours. The race director, Mikey Bee is a beloved fellow in the Florida Ultra running scene. His "claim to fame" is coming up with these ridiculously difficult challenges that ultra runners tend to love. it really tests you physically and mentally. The community down there is second to none. 5 total badasses join me to recap their experience in a roundtable format. Luis Cocco, Marc Burget, Cole Bataille, Nick Urena, and Mike Musso. Really fun chat. Enjoy!
