Episode 1291 Fishing By Candlelight NOT LED!

0:00There really is nothing more fun than fishing from a permanent ice shack. This is in through the outdoors and I'm your guide, Jason Walter. About the only problem I've encountered and it really isn't a problem, it's maybe a me situation and that's lighting. Yeah, turn on the lights or turn them off. There are quite a few of us that like it dark or believe keeping lights off gives us a better chance of not spooking fish. I don't know if the catch rate is higher because the lights are on or off or dimmed real low. Quite a few permanent shacks where people have been laughing and partying and playing cards and slam and dice on the table and the rattle goes off and boom, it's a 24-incher. Everybody's laughing, everybody's cheering. And because of the fun situation, if you know what I mean, the guy handling the fish is making quite a commotion. You would swear you were at a super bowl party. Oops, can I say that without getting sued? I guess I did and if they want to waste their time on little old me, go ahead and try. But back to the story. I've tried every type of incandescent bulb.

1:00I've even tried CFLs and they are frankly nothing but a joke. But the LED bulbs came out and they were nice because they didn't use much amperage and you were good to go keeping a strong battery but the light wasn't right. Now they've got lights, they've got light strips, light bars and pucks and things that change color and I've tried green and red and blue and purple and yellow and orange and frankly, I can't find what I'm looking for but I finally found it. My former sister-in-law brought me homemade soap and a candle from a shopping expo. Guess what? I am now chasing Walter by Candelite. I'm Chase and Walter and that's in through the outdoors.
