Episode 0176 - Ayn Rand, Objectivism and a New American Renaissance
About this episode
Ayn Rand was an enormously influential author, philosopher, and warrior for liberty. My journey in the search for truth, history, and economics started way back in 1997 after reading Atlas Shrugged. This great novel is about a battle of wills between the industrialist of their time and the government parasites that sought to control them by using the law and the media. Sounds familiar, huh? Join me today as we listen to Rand being questioned by talk show host, Phil Donahue. In typical fashion, Donahue is fabulous at highlighting society's ills, but can't quite see the casual connections that Ayn Rand so brilliantly illuminates for him and his audience.
