Episode 0083 - The Cops Won't Save You!

We all think we know what cops should or should not be doing in society, but most people agree that they should protect us if we're in danger!  Obviously, we are outraged when they neglect to do their job and tend to ask questions about why and how this happened?  Join me today as we not only ask these questions, but we explore the possibility that the cops are NOT there to SAVE US at all!  This belief is well understood within libertarian circles because we are well-grounded in the understanding of the state as the only organization with the legal authority to initiate violence against peaceful people.  This belief, however, is not widely held by the public.  Dare I say, that Bill Maher himself does not believe this, but he is dangerously close to getting it in this episode that we review.
