Episode 0072 - What is ESG, Does it Work and Why Do We Need It?

About this episode

The drumbeat of Climate Change is constantly with us. Therefore there is no shortage of liberal busybodies coming up with ideas to combat its "effects on our planet".  There must be some governing law that causes a prosperous country like the United States to increasingly invent dumb ideas to solve imaginary problems.  Imaginary problems in the sense that these ideas are not born in countries like India or Nigeria, where the inhabitants are too busy trying to find their next meal.  But in the United States, we have such an abundance of leisure time in combination with a political environment that sees victims everywhere, which creates an army of busybodies who invent fictitious crises to constantly hector us with.  Join me today as we look critically at ESG as a solution and point out that it is creating more problems than it purports to solve.
