台積電掌握全球先進製程晶片九成佔有率，讓先進封裝也集中在台灣，成為美日韓中暫時看到吃不到的一塊。
晶圓級封裝CoWoS指的是在圓型的晶圓上切割出方型尺寸，並往上方堆疊晶片後再封裝，難度和成本高，適合能支付高額費用的AI晶片客戶。扇出型封裝FOPLP則是利用原本面板業者的正方型或長方型玻璃基板，切割正方型尺寸，損耗少很多，適合用在成熟製程及有較大水平封裝空間的產品，比如車用晶片或頭戴顯示器AR和VR設備上。
這兩種概念不同的先進封裝技術要量產，還存在各自需要克服的技術問題。離商業成功還有多久？
