2024年的諾貝爾物理、化學和經濟獎，都與AI有關。物理獎得主之一的多倫多大學教授、Google前顧問Geoffrey Hinton, 以類神經網路研究推進機器學習，運用物理工具改變了AI發展方向；化學獎得主之一的DeepMind創辦人Demi Hassabis則是運用機器學習導入蛋白質結構研究，為新藥開發開啟一扇大門；經濟學獎的其中二位得獎者Daron Acemoglu和James Robinson, 擅長研究政治制度與科技進步之間的關係，成果與分配的公平性，而AI是最新變數和課題。
在各獎項評審獨立評選之下，卻不約而同都看到AI的里程碑影響。AI如同百年前的量子物理問世引來科學大爆發。量子物理其後開啟許多新領域研究，造就多位諾貝獎得主，也帶來原子彈、核子彈和核能發電等結果。
