520新政府即將上台，原先對金管會和金融業務的期許，是台灣往區域金融中心、普惠金融和科技金融發展加快腳步，但新的主委來自保險專業領域，被預計重心將放在整頓保險業，達到與國際規則接軌；這當中，前幾年各大保險公司賣出大量防疫保單造成的巨額虧損，導致保險公司的資本適足率下降，是頭號要被處理的問題。
也因此，金融業的國際化，以及金融科技的發展，是要讓位於處理保險業問題，繼續往後排，還是必須同步進行，已到了刻不容緩的時候？有多年傳統金融業經驗近年投身科技金融的AI金融科技協會理事長姚木川，分享他的看法。
