We did a special day for the ladies, which something I came up with because when you guys might may remember, may not remember as we did a show, I don't know, six or seven months ago, three months ago, whatever. And the way the engineering department set it up, we only had a certain amount of room. So we put all the guys up at the main table or whatever. Because we're the ones running the show and everything, and they put the ladies off to the side, not to say they're least important or anything, but it's just like that's just the way it was set up.

3:02And then Savannah got all pissed off about that. So it would be funny if we do a show where they're in charge. We'll set off to the side and let them run the show and it's for International Women's Day. And it'll be a good goof or whatever. So we did it on Friday. A lot of people seem to enjoy it, but Ryan says he doesn't think he didn't understand why I got a little upset. I did get a little upset and they have been the sugar because I had those 10 marshmallows. But also like, Daisy called me a narcissist. Amber said, oh, if I'm gonna get fired or I'm gonna get fired by Jack because he's nicer than Russ, that kind of hurt. Cause all I do is support and help Amber. Angelique yelled at me because I wanted to say something about, I'll ask the question was, is that a rest of development? And then she starts yelling at me. And of course Savannah was all over me the whole time. So yeah, I did feel a little bit picked on but it's okay. We're doing radio. I don't care afterwards. I was like able to go. Okay, that's just a show and they had fun and the audience liked it and I'm good with it. But yeah, I was like, okay, it's pick on Russ Day

4:04and I just took it like a big boy and you know what I did? Okay, so I felt terrible after, this is the worst thing I did. I felt terrible afterwards and I was a little grumpy. But after all that, there's marshmallows. I felt bad. I'm like, I need to get some food in me. Some real food, not sugar. I need to get some real food. So I drive to go get my glasses and I couldn't get them yet so I had to go get some lunch. I'm like, let me go try that, let me go try that arch burger. Oh no. Oh, oh. Let me tell you how gluttonous, listen, they're trying I guess man. But how gluttonous that thing is, it's basically the patties you use for a quarter pounder. And then they put like crunchy onions on the bottom and it's a big burger and I sat there. And when I took the last bite, I looked, I looked in the mirror like you gross son of a bitch. It just felt gluttony. The word gluttony kept coming in like really that big of a burger? And you know what, I might have been grumpy

5:05still from all the marshmallows. I don't know. Everything was, everything was ticking me off after I ate that much sugar. Did it earn a good score in your book? It did not, I'll never have one again. It's too much, it's too much, like a big Mac, it's fine. I'm good with the big Mac. This was too much, like a moron A. I was a sauce. I hear that the sauce is sweeter. It was dripping everywhere. It was greasier than everything else I've ever had from there. It was gluttony, man. It was full on gluttony. I've got a good review. I'll never doing that again. I know I know why the CEO took a little baby bite. He didn't want to get it all over his face. You got to be like the dude from Burger King then because he went all in. Yeah, yeah, he did going. Shout out once, I want to thank Angel again because you got me, Erica Vinyl was there and she shows up to all the stuff and she's such a sweet lady. And I know you had ordered that album from her and I appreciate that because that's one of the kiss albums that I have, but I have it on the wall because Gene Simmons signed it and it's framed.

6:07So I can't listen to it on, and I've never went around and purchased another one. So it was a very thoughtful gift. Yeah, and she's a great resource and if you're looking for something specific, she can get it. That's an original run. So that's of time specific. Yeah, and actually her and our good friend of ours of the show, Corey, he's doing a vinyl night tonight. She'll have her pop up shop there as well, but it's going to be a vinyl night in Ovido. So what did Zest said for us when I posted on Facebook later, I had a tough day. So I started drinking some gin, which is true. I mean, it is tough to just sit and kind of, you know, watch your show be run by someone else and there are certain things I might have done different, you know, but I promised it was their day and I promised I would participate and I promised I would go along with everything. And I did. Ryan, you did too. You did a song. Your song was great. Yeah, no, I didn't bother me because you were picking on me and it didn't bother me

7:08because I knew you were just being you. I don't know. I don't think they were picking on you in any kind of different way. You call yourself a narcissist all the time. And Daisy, when she said that, she was saying she was a narcissist too. Yeah, they were saying they were, they were, they were talking about me last night at Savannah's house and they were talking about how I was a narcissist. I'm like, okay, well, that's, I don't know. I look, I feel like I'll enjoy it. Cause it's your ex girlfriend and that's really kind of feel like what that boils down to. Could be, yeah. It's just like you have a weird history together and your ex was mean to you and you're upset about it. But I don't think she was any more mean than usual. But the sugar did affect you and it always does affect you. Yes. Pretty hardcore. I'll give you that. Yeah. I don't know. I felt bad for you at the end. Cause you were kind of like moping. No. And I was like, oh man. All right. Well, I wasn't talking because when I, I said a couple things, they kind of snapped at me. So I'm like, okay, I won't try to take over. I'm like, I'm going to be cool. For me, that was just a bit. You know, that's the bit of like, ah, it's not your day. You're over there. Yeah. No talking. And I played along with it. I didn't know. For a while, you did. Pretty good at it.

8:09No, I played along even at the end. That's when I had the marshmallows and I just, I spoke when spoken to, you know, like you're supposed to do. Yeah. I think they, I think they did great. They're just like, you know, the, the, the. It's harder to do that in that room because when you're in this studio and you talk over each other, the audience can at least mostly understand what we're saying. When you're talking through the way we do it when we're on location. Right. A lot of it was getting jumbled. I went back and listened to it. Because there was a talking over each other and stuff like that would happen with that. Just a couple minor fixes. I would, I would change again. But I, I had a really fun day. It was an exhausting day for some reason though. I was. I was tired. I was tired when we were done. I wrote a little bit of danger. I forgot to show it. It was longer, show ever. At least it's hard for me just to sit there though, guys. I mean, I've been doing this 33 years. I'm used to, you know, running it. But I was, you know what? I went home and I was like, okay, I did what I said I'm going to do. And, you know, it went well. Ain't no, how about you? What are your thoughts?

9:09I would echo in kind of what I said to some of the ladies afterwards. And like they all did fantastic jobs. But at the end of the day. And this is the, this is the what's happened in the past. When other people. One of the things that I learned when I host the show, I cannot forget that this is the monsters. Yeah. And then Ryan and I try to do that when we're doing this. That we keep the benchmarks and stuff like that. So that would be the one thing that everything else was awesome. The content was awesome. You know, just and having them being featured was awesome. But when it's all said done, you know, let's remember that. We're still, you know, big, dumb, fun. Yeah. That kind of things. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. When you get to the serious stuff, sometimes it's. Yeah, especially in that kind of setting. Sometimes like it, you know, the the weight of it all. And then again, it's not easy doing a show in that room. Because then you get hot up trying that you're playing instead of playing to each other. Like we normally would do. We're playing to the audience. And Ryan's right.

10:09Like we're so we're not looking at each other. We're not watching each other. So we're stepping on each other in certain instances. So it's all like more technical stuff, you know. And literally just the idea was to give respect for each one of them. Because each one of them are, you know, very important to the show. And I enjoy what they do. And I like them all very, very much. So I guess I felt like I was giving all this respect. And maybe wasn't getting that back. But it was because of the way the show was, you know, made that day. You know, it's like, oh, it's we're going to, you know, it's going to be big on this. Yeah. There's a comedy show in the joke is that you're not in charge. Right, right, right. Yeah. No, I get it. Yeah. Yeah. I think I think everything changed after I had the sugar. I'll be honest with you. Because I was doing the whole, yeah, boss, whatever you say, boss. And when they tell me to shut up, I would like, I was playing along. And once I did the sugar, I wasn't thinking. You weren't supposed to eat it, though. That's that's what that's what I mean. I knew as soon as I saw you do that. And I saw you like, I was like, oh, this is going to go bad. And I said it as soon as that happened, I was like, oh, okay. Yeah. Yeah. I was like, I was like, this is going to go bad. He's eating it. Like because you're not there.

11:09And that's the thing. But if you watch the bit and everything on social media and everything, they don't eat it. And I understand that you don't like because Angelie tried to give you the cup to spit in it. And you didn't want to do that and everything. That's nice. Yeah. But, but it's that would have been better. Is that what they do? Is they spit that out? Yeah. No, you don't eat the marshmallows. You don't eat the marshmallows. Oh. Yeah. And spitting them out isn't part of the bit. Like they do that off camera. Okay. Okay. Because you want me to spit it in camera. I'm like, listen, I've made a fool of myself enough. I'm not going to spit on this. No, it wasn't articulated well. Like, hey, dude, like so when you were done saying it, stand up or go around the corner and spit that out. We're not trying to do this on camera. Right, right, right. But yeah. Well, I saw you like eating them. I was like, oh, this is bad. And that's when I told her. I was like, okay, watch guys. This is going to go bad now. And it didn't. I'll say it. I was in a bad mood. I mean, probably until like, you know, you know, literally. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's a lottery. I don't know why the sugar does that to me, man. And you guys have seen it in here. I'll have a piece of cake or something.

12:10And then I get all, you know, jittery and grumpy. And so that, that happened. I like the ultimate power move by Angelique, though. What? So you get down with the show. Everything's over. And I get a notification from YouTube. It's like, hey, you can't monetize this show. Because you're using copyrighted material. It was her material. And I'm like, well, what the heck? What would happen? I pull it up. And it's a author's thoughts by Angelique Martinez. Add revenue paid 100% to the claimant. She took all our revenue money on international women. Well, there you go. That's a perfect way. That's a perfect way. Every time. Yeah. Yeah. My favorite was 10,000 views. 10,000 views. Then she'd taken all that money. And it was, you know, a little bit long, but, you know, she, you know, they read it. And you got to hear it. And it gave her her props.

13:10And then she's like, and I got another one. And Spana was like, another one. Spana's eyes got all big. And then Angelique's like, it's only a minute. And I'm like, okay. I don't know. I saw it within that second that Spana was having a little bit of a breakdown. But other than that, listen, the audience seemed to love it. Well, that it was founded. And when she founded the city of Miami. That seems like it doesn't go hand in hand, right? Like the year that this must be. It feels like that a woman wants the one. Yeah. The woman owns this. That's what kind of. Yeah. That's something I'd never heard before. This is something that should have been shouted proud for years. Yeah. Especially down in the, I mean, even though we're not the South. And you know, there were challenges every year. There were challenges. Is it getting worse? Is it getting better? We talked to Detective Barb the other day. And I guess the kids still cut themselves and all that kind of stuff, right? Well, you got all kinds of stuff like that. I don't... I haven't really noticed a change to be honest with you. I mean, it's... I'm lucky enough to be in a great place and not a whole lot of problems. So... Good. Also, coach and football in the area and stuff. I get to know the kids all the time.

27:34So they're... It's a little bit different for me, I guess, because living in the community, coaching in the community and then being with the kids all day, it's pretty great, actually. I was gonna say, I mean, I would love to hear that it's great. It's not as hopeless as we... You know, sometimes with the news they make it look like it's terrible and horrible and bad. You're out there doing it every day. As bad as, you know, we're hearing or not. I don't know, you know how media can be sometimes. They'll play up certain things that, you know, might not be, you know, as big of a deal sometimes and all that. And I love it. I mean, the kids are great and besides just normal challenges of kids growing up and what you... Yeah. You know, stuff that you might not have seen. Social media is probably the biggest problem. Yeah. Always. And I never... I never had to deal with that really that much. My kids weren't that... They didn't have a problem with that really. And then when I was coaching wrestling, they wouldn't even around.

28:35So I didn't know how to... But how is it... What is the issue with you? Do you have to tell the kids to put their... I don't know, they put their phones in their lockers or whatever? Hey, Angel, I know that you read commercials for, for the big green egg and for wasses. Love those guys. And that's where I got my rotisserie. Once again, I use the rotisserie this weekend. And I got to, I gotta tell you what, you need to get a rotisserie if you don't have one yet. It's fun. Yeah. It makes a lot of fun. I don't think you did. Did you do chicken again? I did not do chicken. This time I did a corn beef brisket. Right on. Yeah, brisket is good to do on there too. Oh, man. Yeah. Brisket's really good. It kind of messes with my belly though. It took, it took five hours to do it. But I, I, I cooked it lower, like a 250 degrees and just a, and basically I sat there and watched the big green egg all day and listened to music out by the, by the lake, which was a great way to spend a Sunday, you know, because, you know, there's not really sports going right now that I'm paying attention to or anything like that. So just kind of hung out and listened to music and, and cooked the, cooked on the big green

38:51egg. But, yeah, that thing is still, still loving it. And I know the washes are still, are still sponsored. So I kind of tagged them in and everything, you know, but I love that. I used to have, I used to have something different. It was the, the commercial, it was like, set it and forget it. And like you put the chicken in and it was like a rotisserie chicken thing. Yeah. But I miss that device in order to do stuff like exactly what you said. I used to do it all the time. Right. I used to, like, do rotisserie, all the stuff, the chicken, the vegetables, the pork, the beef. Yeah. The big green egg is just, I don't know. I didn't know you could do that with the big green egg. Yeah. I mean, I got that, that rotisserie thing for Christmas and I've been, I mean, I'm from my birthday and I've just been using it a lot. Um, and then, uh, these are a little baby topic because I'm going up there. There's no, like, real, uh, meat to the bones of these, but, uh, Ryan, did you watch Saturday Night Live because finally Saturday Night Live got it right. We were bitching every week how bad it was because it really had three, really bad weeks of, of Saturday Night Live. And finally they had a good one with Ryan Gosling and, uh, uh, Harry Styles was on there

39:54as well. And, uh, and like, I thought all the bits were funny, uh, and the gorillas, uh, is it the gorillas or just gorillas performed, uh, and, uh, we talked about them last week for some reason, Angel. Was it because they were on Saturday Night Live or because they're going on tour? Well, it was both, uh, they're starting their world tour here in Orlando, tickets went on sale over the weekend. They were going like hotcakes and then the fact that they were appearing on, and Ryan was like, okay, now, now that makes sense because they're on, uh, SNO. So the, the last week they announced the, the tour, yeah, it starts here in Orlando. And then they were on, uh, and they dropped their album last week as well. Oh, okay. It was a brand new album. And they've been around for a while, right? Yeah. Yeah. For some time. Cause mid 2000 early. I think so. Yeah. I guess that familiar with them and, uh, uh, my wife, Mary Ellen knew like every word to the song, whatever the first song they did was like, I guess one of their biggest songs. And she knew every word and was so excited to see him. And that's one of the first times I actually watched all of the, uh, of the musical 1998 Ryan. Oh, wow. Is that how long they've been around?

40:54Yes. I didn't pay attention to him back then. So I, I, I wasn't familiar, but, uh, but she definitely was. But what did you think about the, uh, the episode? I thought it was pretty funny. I thought it was where the gorillas did a song from like 2000. Like they, they did the, uh, it happened. I'm feeling good. And I'm like, I've never really seen a band go on Saturday night live and do one of their old songs. It's always like, you know, they're promoting a new album. Right. Uh, so is the, is the new album, the mountain and the new album was fantastic. Is it all new songs? It's all, it's all new music. I think what they did is, uh, kind of like what, what, uh, Russ was kind of saying it. Cause for the huge chunk of their career, they've always been these, uh, you know, it's a multimedia band. Yeah, I never knew what they look like. Yeah. And so for a huge chunk of their career, it was just the, uh, animated images and that was the band. Yeah. It's not until the last like, let's say a few years, let's last the five years or so, where Damon, Albert and the rest of the band are actually coming to the forefront. So, um, people familiar with a song probably didn't realize that there was actual humans.

41:56Right. Yeah. They don't look like rock stars, you know, they, they, they just like, they're just like folks, you know, they're like, they're just like folks, but the, the images they have with the gorillas with whatever the cartoon thing, that looks rock starish, you know, it's like, that looks super cool. Uh, that's cool. They had everybody. And then Dell, the funky homo sapien was there and that was pretty neat. Anytime Del can get on to it, but it was a, it was a better episode of SNL overall for sure. The writing was better, but I think they were better. I think it's, it's just because of Ryan Gosling and Ryan Gosling does the thing that everybody loves that Jimmy Fallon used to do, which is he can't get through a scene without breaking. Everybody loves him for that way. Yeah. I thought it was funny. And they know that about it. They're, they're, because I went back and watched like the, the previous three times he was on. Yeah. The guy does nothing but break. And so they, It's like endearing. They, they specifically made a sketch this time where they changed the notes that passed the note, they changed it from the dress rehearsal to this one just so they could watch him break. Yeah. Yeah.

42:56And they all were breaking up and laughing. And then they were breaking up and laughing with that one with, they had it, for those that didn't see it. It was a skit where they had these three cyclops. And they had to try to, I don't know, were trying to get in this magical gate or something. Yeah. And then they all kept cracking up and it was funny as hell. I don't know. I was laughing through though the entire, you know, the entire episode and I'm like, this first time I laughed at, sorry, not live in weeks. Yeah. But that's now stop using Camp Patterson is just a black guy in the background. They just do nothing but use him as a set piece. And I find that incredibly frustrating, either use them or don't, but don't make them just some weird prop. Yeah. Yeah. He was, he only said like two lines every week. It's, he gets like three words in him and that other really good goofy girl that I like a lot. That's odd. The real odd goofy girl. Sarah, Sarah, sure. No, I love Sarah Sherman. She's great. She's, she's a, she's a main player. There's that one. Oh, I forget her name, but she's the girl from TikTok. Yes. What's her name again? I forget. She's, she's very quirky and they only use her for certain things as well. But, you know, I guess it's super competitive there at Side of Night Live.

43:57You got to earn your spot and, you know, I guess. I know. And I always knew he was going to be the odd man out on that show with a bunch of, you know, well-trained improvisers and he's a very rough stand up comedian. Because he's from Orlando and he's a buddy of yours, right? Yeah, but it's just, it's sad to see that like they put him on there because they wanted the, you know, grab people from the Killtony universe because that's literally the number one comedy podcast and they, and to just stick him up there and like, just basically use him. It's what it feels like. But there's a lot of the cast that don't get used that much. It's not just him. They're, they're several that you only see every once in a while, you know? Yeah, but maybe just because I notice it more because I'm looking for him. Yeah. But I've never seen just the cast numbers get used as a prop and get like two words in over the course of an entire show. Oh, that happens a lot. Yeah. It really does. I think I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I am as more famous than all of them. Yeah. But he's also, he's also, they threw him in the deep end of the pool and so I think this

44:58is good for him to get the reps that he needs to be comfortable in front of the camera because he still doesn't seem comfortable in front of the camera. No, he still seems wide eyed about being there. I still seems like he doesn't believe that he's there. The moment that that kid realizes, hey, I, I belong here and I, and I'm here for a specific reason. He's going to absolutely crush it. And when you say sketch comedy is different than standard comedy, yeah, 100% different. Yeah. And that's a different muscle too, you know? And they're, yeah. And they're, they're different mentally like improv people, which is what they all come from are very different mentally than standard comedians, standard comedians competitive. But like, not in the same way that improv is and I can't quite put my finger on like how to explain this to you guys. But I want to call them all assholes, which is, which is not necessarily bad thing, but they're just competing in a different way. And improv is all about like pulling the focus directly to you in front of a group of people a lot of times. Well, improv is supposed to be, but that's how a lot of those people treat it. Improv is more impromptu, correct? I mean, like, it's really like the whole. Like, yes, and type of like going with that, whereas stand up, you have your material.

46:04And yes, you have moments where you can like play off the audience and everything and like incorporate things. But for the most part, you kind of have, am I correct in this? I'm asking. Yeah. But I know that like, so when you get that mentality and then you have the competitiveness of Sarah and I live, I, I don't know, I haven't spoken to him about this, but I imagine like they don't take him seriously. Okay. Well, it's one of the first, in a long time, this year, the first episode that I thought was super funny. So if you get a chance to go back and watch it, if you haven't seen Saturday Night Live in a while, it was a pretty funny episode. I think you might dig it. We're taking a little break.
