Don't Give Up!

0:00And I, it's Rich, and welcome to a brand new day, as we encourage each other to have faith in the God of Israel. And to have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, and to follow Him, the King of God's Kingdom. And I was reading something here that was a good reminder that we should always pray and not give up. And it was over in Luke chapter 18, and it's Jesus, and He's telling them the parable on the deed for them to pray always and not give up. And He said there was a judge in a certain town who didn't fear God or respect people. And a widow in that town kept coming to Him saying, give me justice against my adversary. And for a while, he was unwilling, but later he said to himself, even though I don't fear God or respect people. Yet because this widow keeps pestering me, I will give her justice so she doesn't wear me out by her persistent coming.

1:00Then the Lord said, listen to what the unjust judge says. Well, not God grant justice to his elect who cried to him day and night, will he delay in helping them? I tell you, he will swiftly grant them justice. That's over in Luke chapter 18 to always pray and not give up. So let's encourage each other to do that. God wants us to go to him in prayer this day, this hour. You know, we're told in the Bible, pray constantly. Yeah, check that out. First, this is Lonean's 517. And let's not give up. He says, don't give up. The Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4 and 1. Therefore, since we have this ministry because we are shown mercy, we do not give up. So let's not give up. Let's always have hope. And let's always go to God in prayer. Let's keep asking. Let's keep seeking. He wants us to do that. What a great heavenly Father. Well, that's it. That's what I wanted to share with you.
