Hey, by the way, Doug, I saw somebody on Twitter say that the game that the Tigers have versus the Guardians with the massive pitching their rookie pitcher is a huge game because McGonagall struggling and if McGonagall doesn't win rookie of the year, where the Tigers get a extra draft choice if he does win rookie of the year. So okay, he needs to get going with draft choice. Do we know where that draft choice would be? No, that I don't know. Because if you call a guy up now, they try to incentivize you calling up rookies and not manipulate service time, right? Yeah. Rookie of the year draft pick compensation. The compensation picks typically fall between 26 and 32. Yeah. Oh, that's decent. Which is where McGonagall was if I'm not mistaken. I think he was a compensatory pick. Yeah. Interesting. 24853997. Don't be surprised if that is what we're playing here where it comes to football this year

where for the Lions Michigan Michigan State, we are seeking a Western Eastern in central fan out there to give us a don't be surprised if if you want to go down a level Wayne State Ferris Grand Valley, whatever it is 24853997. Let's go to Corrin in Columbus. You're on 971. Hello, Corrin. So guys, hey, so my don't be my don't be surprised is if is St. Brown gets 2000 yards receiving this year. Wow. Look at what they talked about with trademark bride and true petting. You know, kind of feeding the beast. We all think that automatically is going to go to Samu Porta. But if you some of us, well, and I don't know if it was interview that he had or Jared had, is like, it's not just about going to the tight end. It's about going to the best player that you have. And there is no doubt that St. Brown kind of just gets overlooked. He had a great camp again this year as he always does. And I think that a little kind of chip on the shoulder, a little fire under him is how everyone talks about JSN and JSN just usurping him after one, you know, obviously awesome

year. But St. Brown has had three or four really awesome years. And it's it's like his consistency kind of getting overlooked. And I think he's going to take a step forward. Obviously, Jared, Jared golf, you know, safety net. I think they looked at the film about where they kind of were defensive did to them last year. And I again, like I said, I don't think there's any way that he's getting stopped at least 1800. My guess is or kind of my prediction is he's going to get the 2000 yards this season. Wow. I mean, yeah, and that's there's a lot there. And yeah, it makes it's a reasonable take given all that you offered up. I mean, asking a question. I don't think it is. Don't you? He'd have to have 167 catches at 12 yards of catch. Okay. That'd be the NFL record. And he's just and because I don't think his per average is going to go up from 12 that much. He's just not that type of receiver. You know, he's a possession type of receiver. So what he needs is way more volume and he'd have to have 167 catches with targets like Gibbs, JMO and LaPorta on the team.

I mean, that's the question happening. And he's a great player. But 2000 yards or ASB seems ridiculous. Let me ask you a question. And is this a home or opinion that I think St Brown's better than Nikoa? A little bit. And you get that opinion outside Detroit because you're probably not. That's a home or Puppet. I guess I just that that's very home. I just think they're both selling. I think St Brown is just he's unguardable. He's he's awesome. He's awesome. He's got great chemistry with golf. Yeah. That's a Kang you're probably right. Yeah. You did the math. I gave I gave it the topic. I put you in the mask. Well, it's 50% he gets it or not, right? The 2000 yards either will or will 50% chance. 2485 3997 97 Chad is next. I chad. Hey guys, I'll be on what's up? This might be a little bit of a stretch, but don't be surprised if

right under woodwinds are heist or at least in the topic of it. Are you really take force? Yeah. Right. Well, I mean, here, I mean, the coaches are building off into around his abilities, but them build a, you know, pass very good on the run, but then build a run the ball, you know, hopefully a lot better to share. I mean, they're building around that. I see him not calling Michael, but Michael, but I think he should be. If he does a good 360 this year, well, Chad, my, my, my trying to tamp down expectations is getting blown up by this prediction. I think that what it really comes down to is just being better with the football and making better decisions in the field. And you know, there was a quote from, um, Cory Deppner, the quarterback coach about Bryce where he said it all starts at the ground. And Jason Beck said a quarterback that's moving their feet a lot is a quarterback that's thinking a lot. They have really, really worked hard on trying to get him to not be as

jumpy with his feet and deliver the foot. And they said when you, when you have a better base, the arm angles and everything takes care of it from there. But the other thing and the one thing that would work in your favor that he could have a turn some heads this season is they're going to run him more. Yeah, they're going to run him more, you know, a sure on more had a line. If you don't, if you have a running quarterback, you better have to, um, they are not operating that with that philosophy this year. So, uh, heisman, yeah, that'd be surprised. But I wouldn't, I wouldn't be surprised. I'd be shocked. And well, I'd be taken to a mental institute, uh, a mental institute. Yeah. Uh, yeah, I would, uh, I would, I'm just thinking improvement. Yeah. Don't be surprised if he's way better. Yes, absolutely. Don't be surprised that the Michigan passing game is way better. Let me phrase it that way. With the 54 starts returning on the offensive line, better wide receivers,

and another year of college football, don't be surprised that the Michigan passing game is much improved. How good is this JJ Buchanan? That's well out of the people that I've seen it practice. He is probably the most impressive of, of the playmakers in turn, and maybe it's just because I'd never seen him before. I'd saw him on TV last year with Utah, but they, they still are saying he hasn't dropped the pass in practice since he got here. And he is great with contested catches and quarterbacks need receivers to go get the ball sometimes, right? Yeah. Uh, don't be surprised if Keith Abney is the Nyan's number two corner this season. That's for an unnamed texture. Don't be surprised if Western Michigan, Michigan Saturday night is a 10 point game. I wouldn't be that surprised if you pay attention to Western Michigan. First of all, they got a running quarterback in Brock Lowry. They got a thousand yard back, a two time thousand yard back. They have one of the most amazing facts about Western.

That was a team that won the Mac, won their ball game. Do you know how many players they lost in the portal that had eligibility left? Zero none. Now that could be two things. One, it could be that people didn't recruit their guys. But in this day and age, that's a really hard thing to do with a good football team. And the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the coach is very highly respected. He is respected, but to find the players typically in that situation, level up. And they kept them. So I, I think Western, I've, I've said it for a month, Michigan and Michigan state better show up for their opener. And when you're breaking in a new coach and a new system, sometimes there's some hiccups early on, right? With both of them. Yeah. And now to working in Michigan states advantage is Mercer, Mercer's coach is now the coach at Toledo. He brought a dozen players with us with him. And he made the, I think they're trying to do signety light because they're going from

the FCS level, right? To the FBS level, whereas signety went from group of six to, to power four conference jump. But Michigan and Michigan state better show up. Wherever sent this in, I wish you signed it. Don't be surprised that Michigan defences as good as or similar to the 21 through 23 defenses. It's a market. No, by Pearson, those guys are as good as you think in some of the younger players. 248. I would doubt it, but who knows? They would, they would, they would need some guys to step up. I don't think Michigan, I don't look at Michigan and see an obvious first round pick. What I do see is some really good position groups and really talent in every position group that has to prove itself. Dan is next on a cell. Hi, Dan. Doug, don't be surprised when the Lions beat the Rams and the NSD championship game. They head to their first Super Bowl ever. That's the bowl prediction.

Yeah. I, you know, I dug when you are take a sober, you know, and that's the hype. But when you take a sober look at where the Lions have offensive tools between Jameer Gibbs, between, I think Jameo is poised to have a better year in a moderate, same brown. I mean, I do think the Lions have three of the best offensive producers in football. And, you know, the, I think they have a softer schedule. I think the Rams have been rebuilding their defense clearly. And in the Lions are, they are poised to have a rebound year. And that's wishful thinking in many ways. Well, when you say rebuild their defense, I mean, well, I'm not really sure how good Aaron Donald's going to be after being out a couple of years. But Miles Garrett, Brian Young, just go on and on. They're, the guys they traded from, they got from Kansas City. Their defense is better than the Lions defense. And their skill position players are almost, if not as good as the Lions.

I mean, you could argue staffers better than golf. You could argue Naku is better than St. Brown, despite what I said a moment ago. I stony. I don't think in you, you knew Matt's effort better than I do. Do you think Matt's safer makes it through the season? Well, that's, I think that's a bad, that's why I don't know. I don't think it does. You know, and I think that's the real issue the Rams are facing right now. Despite how good they look on paper. I'm actually a Chesty about the Lions this year. I think they're going to have a hell of a year. And unfortunately, for it to come true, the way you said, they're going to have to stay healthy. And they've already kind of not stayed healthy. I'm kind of hoping that injury quotas being used up at the beginning of the year. Instead of the end of the year, play the easy part of their schedule, allegedly. Yeah, but you know, I wouldn't, I wouldn't be shocked if this Lions team went to the Super Bowl. No. Kang, you're going to yell at me about that one too. Lions is Super Bowl. Oh, yelling you. It's not crazy. It's definitely more doable than ASB at 2000 yards.

I'll say that. Yeah. Carson Anderson, St. Donnie and for Anderson 97 one.
