Tonight’s guest, Alan, grew up in Meigs County, Ohio, running wild in the woods there, on the land around his dad’s 88-acre farm. After spending so much time in the woods, Alan was convinced that his dad was right, when he told him that there wasn’t anything in those woods that he couldn’t handle. Well, one night, after he became old enough to work, he was heading home, from work, when he found out, the hard way, that there WAS something in the woods, in Meigs County, that he couldn’t handle. Making matters worse, he found himself just 6 feet from it, just 5 miles from his home!
