I guess I don't know what reference that has to do with anything I said. If I didn't have this job, I would tune out all the other BS. I would tune it all out and just watch the games. You know what you guys both said that earlier, right? Isn't it easier for us up here? What if you're playing LSU and they have players from the NFL? How do you tune that out when they literally it's in your face? I don't know. I don't know. I mean, because you're rooting for your team and you don't know. When you lose, you're going to bring it up. I guarantee it.

3:11I'm intrigued at what this person thinks is illegal. I guess it has nothing to do. Right. It's easier for us right now because the big 10 and the big 10 institutions have said, we're not going to bring back players in the NFL. But that may change for college basketball, especially if LSU wins this case, college basketball see a flood of players come back. If LSU wins, if this ruling stands, hey, fellas, internet's been out since 1130 yesterday using my phone as a hotspot. You guys are keeping me going. Oh, well, thank you. A scheduling concession, the SEC is demanded and they would that if it delivers the SEC support for a 2014 playoff. If so, there's two things about this.

5:19If you have to play one non conference game against the power for team, it sounds great in theory. But I think what you're going to get is most of the really good programs will be burning up the phones to the really bad programs. The most popular person in college athletics might become the athletic director at Wake Forest. Yeah. Because, or in your Oklahoma, Miami, Ohio State, Michigan, and Notre Dame, I'll be calling. Notre Dame, I guess, has that schedule agreement with the ACC. They're all going to be calling up Wake Forest and they're all going to be calling up Kansas. They're going to be calling up schools of that ilk. You know what they should do? They can make money off of getting a sponsor. They should have like a lottery or like, you know, all right, Michigan. Here you go. We thought the wheel goes around Kansas. Well, that would be pretty cool. If they took the scheduling of those games out of the hands of the schools, yeah, I would

6:25have no issue with that. It'd be great. You know you're getting a home gamer or a road game. You just don't know against two. Right. That would be fantastic. You have like the road game on one wheel and the home team on the other. That way every other year, you change the dynamic. Yeah. I mean, I guess you would, if you're in a pool of teams that are all home one year and then all road, the next you'll never play any of those teams. Right. Well, let's start with what a 2014 playoff. What are some of the consequences of a 2014 playoff? You probably will not have a conference championship game. Which I don't think anybody would lose sleep over. No, I think the SEC wouldn't. A certain way because it's because of the tradition there. There are certain. It's like the Big E's tournament and the ACC tournament in basketball, even though they don't really mean that much, they're still important.

9:32And the big 10 to a lesser extent because they were the they were later later to that party. So you have no conference championship. Ball some of the ball games would be meaningless, which they kind of are. That doesn't matter. But here's what does matter. Every year, more likely than not, when you get to the end, there are caught. There are rivalry games with real meaning. You will be taking meaning away from Alabama, Auburn and Michigan, Ohio State. Those games will become less important if both teams are 10 and two and there's a 2014 playoff or 10 of one or nine and two or whatever because they're going to get in. But do you and you're going to be putting more meaning on Kansas, Kansas, state and Cal Stanford? But do you think let's say hypothetically Michigan, Ohio State, whatever, they gain their both 11 and one, whatever it is, 10 and two, whatever.

10:34That's that. I don't have 11. I know. I realize that. You telling me that even though they both know they're going to be in the playoff, it's going to be, they're going to have like sit out guys. I don't know if they're going to have sit out guys, but it won't mean as much. And you are taking more meaning away from rivalry weekend. That's one, two is don't be fooled by this. Tony Petiti was a TV executive. Oh, yeah. He's running the big 10. Right now on a 12 team playoff, there are 11 playoff games. None of which are on Fox. Fox is the big 10's television partner. Right. If you go to 24 teams, that means there are 12 more playoff games added that are up for bid. Tony Petiti is doing Fox's work here. Their TV partner to try and get Fox writes to post season game. Not not win.

11:35Yeah, probably. And this is what why are we doing this? Why are we doing this? We are doing it so that Fox is happy. Are we doing it? So Tony Petiti can can tout record earnings. I mean, at some point, the people in the game, the coaches have to step in and say enough. This 12 team playoff has been very popular. Very popular. And the only reason to expand it, there's not a screaming reason to expand another thing greed. Of course. And I know greed drives a lot of decisions. But this feels to me like, I feel like the big 10 is trying to do the heavy lifting for its TV partner. They are. There's no doubt about it. And I would love to see what would happen if like Netflix or Amazon Prime said, you know what? Fox, take your money away. This is what we're going to give to the big 10.

12:37Well, I'm going to dwarf that because that's what they do. And look, you know what I expect here too, because this is how everything's decided these days, this is going to end up in court. The 2014 playoff, there will be a judge ruling out at a time point. And if the NCAA is involved in the court case, they'll lose. No, usually that's the case. But bottom line is this is that that's how you follow the money. You follow the money to Fox wanting playoff games. 248, 539, 97, 97. Now, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the masses want this. But I don't have one person in my sphere saying kind of hope they expand the playoff again. I mean, never. I don't know anybody. I mean, if anything, I know a lot of people that would rather decrease from 12. This is just more evidence of the people, the suits that make these decisions that say,

13:38like, for example, like the expansion of the playoffs, like you guys are talking about, no, no fan asked for this, but they're going to probably end up giving it to us anyways. Roger Gidele and the international teams in the games, no fan, he didn't ask any fans of the one because no fans say, hey, we should play in Munich. No, no one says that, but they're giving it or forcing it to on us because money, the guys and suits answer to money and the owners. And that's who they answer, not to the fans. All right. And 248, 539, 97, 97. I want to get to, and if you're a 2014 playoff proponent, tell us why I'd like to hear why. You know, in the meantime, Stoney had a public run in last night.
