Do Unborn Babies Need A Functioning Brain To Qualify As Persons?
About this episode
From Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to wokey-woke college professors and students, this is one of the most repeated pro-abortion arguments: The embryo is just parallel to a brain-dead person, because if brain death is the end of a person, then brain function must mark the beginning of a person. To the untrained mind, this may sound persuasive. But it’s not. It’s just another attempt to separate being human from being a person with rights, which only and always ends in savage inequality.
