Oh my god. I was sitting there and then I thought, it's been called for Megan Rock and I just kind of trying. That's what it was like. That was what it was for me. I'm the troll type of people. I'm a troll type people. I'm so grateful for it. I'm really, really grateful to me. I'm really grateful for it. With the 24th pick in the 2026 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns like Casey Concepty on my receiver Texas A&M. I'm a playmaker. I can play from any position. I'm working so, you know, I can do it all. Whoever they need me to do, they need me to run around like helping. I'm going to do that. If they want to put their boss in my hands quick,

1:00I can do that also. I love to compete. I'm a dog. You guys are getting the best receiver in the draft period. That energy that juice that he brings to the team. And I just saw it the last three days. We're on the field of the guys we have and the core roster that we have right now. If guys love to play football, they were on the run track. How was it? It was like 10 30. I thought you were going to break as a human. I wasn't sure. Well, there's a reason that the tweet stopped right around 10 30. I did it simultaneously. And then also no recepcion, concepcion gets taken. Yeah, the Cavs swept themselves last night.

3:03Thank you very much. But well, no, let's tell the beautiful part of it. All right, I see my little brother, Sammy. We talked for about an hour and then I'm on my way home. Went away get home. I get the Browns first deal. I mean, a three and a five to move back three spots in this economy. What are we doing? Feeling good there or if I'll go to that. Okay, that's good. Feeling great about Tate and Tyson going. I said, I didn't know that I felt good about them moving from six to nine. But I wanted to watch receiver and then eight goes Tyson. And now I have to wonder did they get a little too greedy? I don't know. I'll never know. I think that's something we can get into. But never know. Spencer Fano. Okay. We'll find out if he's a love tagler. But I don't like, I will tell you, I'd like the human being that is Spencer Fano quite a bit. And I love watching him play because he is. He's got an attitude to him on top of being an insane athlete. So we were feeling good. And then there was somewhere in that 10 o'clock window where the calves who have been playing with their food all night watched, uh, who is that Gibroni with the red hair on the raptors?

4:03The Gibroni. I've already forgotten his name. I don't know. I don't know. He was a creative player. He was a creative player. James and battle who played at Ohio State, Mac, who knows ball had to Google it. And we watched the guy play last night. I watched that guy turn into pistol peep freaking Merovich meets Steph Curry last night. How is how is James and battle your takeaway when RJ Barrett and Scotty Barnes go for 30 plus and for awesome because they're good players. James and battle James and battle can't be your takeaway. I think he scored. He got just into double digits last night. I did. He hit a couple big threes last night that kind of pushed that game in a no man's land. RJ Barrett and Scotty Barnes were the reason why that game was the way that it was. I can lose because of RJ Barrett and Scotty Barnes. That's why the game was tied. The game went from tie to an 11 point game with James and battle and like two shots. RJ Barrett and other type of game that he has once once a year in my mind, like he was he was unconscious. I did. James and battle is not the reason.

5:06Mac, you want to jump in there because I think you disagree as much as I do. Yeah. Battle had 14 points when he averaged three per game the entire season. And again, he's in Ohio State. You lost by 22. He's in Ohio State basketball player and you never heard of how he's in battle. The takeaway though, because he was a big part. He was making three point shots at an unconscionable rate late in that game, which took the game out of part because the point is then once it was so predictable. The second McKay lemon goes 20 to the Philadelphia Eagles. I felt it in my loins. I felt it deep down in parts of my body that you don't want to know about and that I don't care to talk about. And that's what my want to hear me talk about. I knew it. I knew it was going to be Casey Concepcion, Casey standing for Kent catch. And I will tell you, I have been dealing. I've been emoting and I've been feeling ever since. I guess I'm trying to figure out how James and battle has red hair, but I guess it doesn't

6:07look red in some photos and it looks black and other photos did not register with me at all. When you said red hat, I thought you were talking like a real ginger. I think all the changes are real. But how are you talking about it? All the changes are real. Is that what that is? There are certain, there are certain genders that are just obvious about it. And then there's, there's James and battle. That was under cover, Ginger. Is that died? Is that what that is? I don't even know that that way. Does that count the same way? It's a little, it's a little, a little, a Morgan Freeman from Shawshank, a little red, right? Is that what that is? His name is red. I know his name is red. I'm saying you were laughing like you didn't know his name was red. No, I knew his name was red. Did Morgan Freeman have red hair in Shawshank? That's why his name was red. I believe. What? I believe that was it. Pretty sure. I think you're just messing with me now. You never know. So what did you think about the bronze draft? It's fine. I actually, so he's, I don't hate it. Listen, I never hated Concepcion as much as you did. And I want that on the record. Oh, what?

7:08Coward. Well, you're the one that came up with that. Make sure you're the one that came up with that. Make sure you're the one that came up with that. Casey can't catch you. Like you came up with the nicknames. I did nothing to do with the nicknames. I mean, you like me a lot to it. Well, I was like, well, like, how am I going to remember at five years from now, unless you make it catchy? And then you made it catchy. And then everyone Casey dropped it. And when Casey got drafted, there's people that just listen to the show that are like, Nick's got to be furious right now. Nick's got to be delivered. Now, do I love Fano? I guess we'll find out. That's fine. The Concepcion part I find to be really, really interesting though. Every wide receiver person, like the Matt Harmon's of the world that discussed this type of thing, are convinced that they don't care about the drops. And I find it just an amazing development across the wide receiver. Now, I'll explain it to everyone in the audience, even though I know you guys know what their reasoning is. I feel like a child explaining this when you guys know what it is. But like their thought process is that if you have six down the field catches in a game, the two drops you have in a game gets offset because the four big time plays or four big time plays that other wide receivers won't be able to make.

8:08And so when you watch Concepcion, everything leading up to him catching the ball is about as good as you're going to find in this draft. And then everything after he catches the ball is about as good as you're going to find in the draft. It's just that middle part. There's the part of actually catching the ball that he's not great at. My favorite thing, so listen, if you just, so that is a fine explanation. He makes up for the drops with more incendiary plays. Fine, because now we're dealing with a ratio that I can understand. All right, three to one. You can be three big plays. I'll forget about that one. And that's why the wide receiver community is like, we don't really care about drops because he offsets all of that within the big play. But to the gemokes last night, we're like, he doesn't have, he doesn't have drop issues. One, nine drops last year. Oh, and by the way, this goes back to NC State, which is the first time I heard it. I don't know anyone that's debating whether he has drop issues. Oh, my God. He's clearly obviously going to last night. Okay, they're just hiding then. They're not being honest with themselves. There's not a single person that you can look up and talk about.

9:10Casey Concepcion with like a reality attached to it that does not include drops being a major problem. And I do love that there are people who are like, well, you can coach it out of him. I think, I think a, I think a fair amount of the drops are because the dude is thinking home run constantly. Which by the way, love the mentality. Like if it, like, we think of that. It's really good yards after the catch. It's like part of that reason is because he's already a step ahead when he hasn't caught the ball yet. So, so to the, because I have not addressed the things I like about Casey Concepcion, I like the kid. How he's handled the conversation around stuttering, taking did I stutter and turning into your catchphrase when you have a stutter is boss type stuff. Subjectively funny. Very funny as well. And by the way, it's intentionally funny. So you know what you do when you're weed with. I like the kid as for why you like a football pick. Well, no, no, that's not great for me. No, no, no, I've not been able to say that with a lot of the Browns big moves. There have been guys where it's like, well, he's a dirt bag off the field. But you know what? If he plays great football, I think I do think.

10:12Listen, I just in saying Andrew Barry has a type. He loves wide receivers, fast as hell that can't catch a cold. But do I, do I have a little bit of hope? Because Casey Concepcion has everything else you need. And more importantly, both for no and Concepcion are guys that it looks like you can plug into that locker room and they go to the positive side of the ledger. Yes, I do like that. And I do think kind of like wish door when I hear Concepcion talk, he seems like a genuine human being. And I like that. That gives me something. Even if my mother bleep amongst Sundays, if he drops big plates, the past two drafts have had that. Obviously, then they've sprinkled in guys like Isaiah Bond and Jutkins. And there are, there are people that we have some maybe problematic stuff we can talk about. But yeah, they've had a lot of high quality people enter those doors in the past couple of years. At least they've tried to make that part of their assessment. But like back to the actual on field stuff with Concepcion and what I find fascinating. You mentioned going back to NC State. Like you mentioned like wait going way back with these drops.

11:12One thing that the other thing that the wide receiver community tries to tell everybody if they're not worried about the drafts or about the drops is like well, sometimes it just comes in one year spurs. They used to, they used to Vante Adams as a big like what look at what happened. Vante Adams amazing NFL career last year who had the week and then phone drops. Devante Adams. And it's like well, that yeah, look at it because one year, a one isolated season, you can have more jobs and more drops than not. Can you see because a great example of this. So decad one drop three years ago, one drop two years ago, then had six drops last year and everyone freaked out about it and says he's got problems with drops. It's like no, he just had one season where it got away from him. Concepcion's not that guy. This is following him the entire way. Yes. And it comes down to if he's a 1200 yard guy like Zay Flowers was this last year in Baltimore, although they still didn't get to the end so a lot. If he's a 1200 yard guy, drop the ball all you want. If you get 1200 yards and if you're a big play machine, I'm not going to care if you're a 500 yard player

12:14or if you're a 200 yard player, I will, I will just fall apart every day on Sunday. But I do think it's interesting. Like the two things that Andrew Berry has said repeatedly or that he's shown us repeatedly. He doesn't care what set of the line you play on. He thinks right tackle and left tackle or interchangeable. He does not care about that. He doesn't care if you drop the ball. And this draft, he rubber stamped that. You cannot beat the allegations anymore. You've done it now with two tackles. You've certainly done it now with more than one wide receiver. And we'll see. I'm sorry you got to get one of these guys right. Listen, I can get around the fauna pick. I can. I think it's a one year audition. And I think if a year from now, I think he's will Campbell. I think a year from now, if we look back and go, well, I guess T. Rex Arms are a problem. And he's got shorter arms than Will Campbell. And then I guess he'll be your left guard center or right guard. And then you'll draft another left tackle next year. Again, I can live with that because I think he's going to be a really good old line

13:16and wherever you play him. I don't know where ever, but at least he'll land somewhere and be good. And then with Concepcion, it's a kid. Welcome to the NFL. You're now the face of the offense from the wide receiver position. Well, I think it's oddly enough at 24. I don't even know that he overtakes Jerry Judy when it comes to the amount of production that they're expecting out of a drop wise. No, like production wise. And even and they just don't take anybody they can catch. But you can see it's overrated. I mean, this is like in Joku putting that stupid jugs machine in his living room to try to catch better. Like they like they constantly have this issue with guys. And it's amazing how this happens. But you can tell where Barry has his football ideologies. And that's why it's just so funny listening to all the very, very top wide receiver draft pundits guys. I bring up Harmon for a reason. We had him on the show a week ago, but he's like one of the go-to guys in that community when it comes to wide receivers and evaluations. And he loves Concepcion. Why? Because they just don't put an emphasis on actually catching the football. They don't care about that side of things. And they believe that it's offset by the big place.

14:16And there's a world that exists where I can see Andrew Barry and how he just becomes dismissive of it. Because in the past six years it all he ever has been.
