Devolution Power Hour Ep. 491: The $5,000 Tariff Dividend Pitch
About this episode
Jon Herold and Burning Bright work through the news of Trump floating a five thousand dollar per adult tariff dividend tied to Republicans keeping the House, and dig into the interview clips defending it against the obvious bankrupting the country criticisms. They also chase down a chapter eleven reference from a viewer that turns into a bit of a scavenger hunt through the clip archive.
There's a mix of lighter material too, including a photo ID mix up joke involving two cabinet officials and an Elon Musk clip revisited for context, before things circle back to bigger picture debt and deficit numbers and what thirty years of compounding debt actually looks like on paper. As always, the hosts bounce between playing clips, cracking jokes, and genuinely trying to work out whether the economic case being made actually holds up.

The bad laugh, the bad laugh, explain those bad laugh. That's a hell of a name. Well, good evening, everybody. And welcome to the Wednesday edition of the Devolution Power Hour. As always, and unfortunately, I am joined by Bernie Bright to Bernie Bright. How are you doing? I'm feeling pretty weird. All right. We're all. Yeah, little weird, but that's kind of always been the case. Yeah, I've got some weird nerve shit going on. Unrelated possibly to my usual stuff. What do you mean? Just, I don't know. I like tweaked my neck and now I've got nerve shocks all down my arm. Have you seen a chiropractor? Did you? Jatri, it's going to be in Vegas. I will have to talk to him if this is still going on. I have dibs. He's owed me like an adjustment for like two years now. So yeah, you can have it after me. But also the patriots are on right now, which is very bizarre. On a Wednesday night.
It is a little weird. Are they winning? They are. They're up 10, 3. There's been there was one touchdown to call back. Oh, if I see Adel, but I don't know what the reason was. I am. Drake May is looking good. He's looking like the MVP is in the bag. I don't think I think the rest of the seasons, a formality at this point. AJ Brown, I think went down already with some sort of ankle injury. So yeah, for me, so did. So did he has him. So did the one. What's his name? The other quarterback. Sam Darnel, he got her. Oh, Sam Darnel. Yeah, he went down immediately. Yeah. The real magma, my makes a great point here. It's, have you tried not wearing a V neck and seen if that helps your neck and nervous issues? I wasn't wearing a V neck today. Oh, damn. May just through a pick right as I was talking all that. Ish. But yeah, I don't think that's it. I don't know. Just weird. You know, probably just, just dying in various ways. Yeah, aren't we all, but know what?
That's what AI is for. We're going to talk at some point tonight about AI, basically making us all immortal or killing us all. It's, it's truly just a coin flip. It's either one or the other either we're all going to live forever because of AI or we're all going to die probably by next week. And we might have meant we will live in the afterlife forever. Once AI kills us and we join the machine. It could be. It just reminds me of that Elon Musk clipper. He's like, do I think AI is going to kill us? Probably not. But you know, at least we'd like to be there if it does because it'd be fun to watch or whatever. Jesus dude, we'll get into that. But we should probably, um, tonight show we have some declassified documents will maybe get into it because they're not really new after some further research from my show this afternoon. I have discovered that those documents have literally been out for six years. Um, we just now know one of the names that was redacted then it's no longer redactable.
We already all know who was. We all knew his patinka anyway. But so we'll talk a little bit about that. I think we're probably going to start off the show though going through the rapid response Twitter account and listening to Trump's midterm convention speech because there's some fun stuff we can talk about these super important midterms. We can talk a little bit about the media framing of it too. Um, oh yeah. Yeah, I don't know. Well, we'll see where it goes. Or you just sit here and talk about the Patriots seatle Seattle football game. That's what you were. I guess it's kind of a boring game, but it's also both both good defenses. I thought the New England defense might get carved up a little bit because we have no run defense, but we're doing well. Hold on to three points, you know, drew lock. It is funny. The way football works, the way all sports work because we make excuses. For when we lose and we take credit for when we win. And I just know that after this game, if the Patriots win, all the Seattle people are going to be like, well, Sam Darnell went down in the first quarter, except all those same
people were like, look how good we are. We can win with Sam Darnell. And without Sam Darnell. I mean, like Sam Darnell is not good at football. So I disagree with that. He had the Vikings of like 14 and three or something crazy. That's true. They suck now, huh? No, they'll be good this year. They'll probably win all Kyler Murray. Dude, hey, you just wait. His ability to scramble his ability to scramble. Get scrambling. His ability scramble is going to give Justin Jefferson so much more time. You just wait and see, man. You know, in the proud tradition of Caucasian quarterback scrambling is a dirty word. Yeah, that's okay. He's not Caucasian. So I know that's what I'm saying. Yeah, I've always I've mostly rooted for Caucasian quarterbacks in the New England era. And we don't scramble. We just we games. We play quarterback. Here's what's going to happen. It's going to be the Vikings versus the Ravens in the Super Bowl. And the Ravens is my fiance, CC her favorite team.
And so then we're going to have to go to the game. It's going to be awesome. And I think it's an L.A. too. So that won't be super expensive or anything. Right. Yeah, it'll be great. But anyway, how about this? Let's let's get a quick word from soft disclosure. We have a few sponsors tonight. I'm going to save the rumble ones for a little bit. And then we'll start going through some of those clips. So soft disclosure.com, we no longer have a Randy and the Labor Day ad, but we do got the justice ad. This one's great. Court is now in session. Your honor. The defense calls Mr. Dry Skin G money to the stand. We're going to pretend I didn't hear that. Mr. Dry Skin isn't it true that soft disclosure is proudly made right here in the United States while directly supporting six American small businesses? I reckon isn't it also true that soft disclosure is made with honest, natural ingredients without the harsh chemicals. So many people are trying to avoid unfortunately.
And isn't it true? It's made with the help of adorable baby goats. Can't argue with the goats. The court reminds the gallery that Lobstock will conduct themselves appropriately. Bless your flaky little heart, Mr. Dry Skin. Your honor. The defense would like to submit exhibit A. Proceed. Cindy H. writes, honestly, the best solution I've ever used. Exhibit A. Is it met? Exhibit B. I use it on my face and hands. Get compliments on looking much younger. Mr. Drayka, I appreciate your inclusions. Not greasy at all. Clean feel compared to other lotions. Vanilla citrus has a nice light scent. Well, that is just showing off. Tyrone writes, I find myself hydrating my elbows and moisturizing my soul a lot more frequently now. The defense rests. I say, I say that we'll be ordered in this court.
Soft disclosure dot com saw the sandal scourge. Touched down there Jackson. I have Jackson Smith in jigsborough, whatever in one of my fantasy leagues, not the badlands host one, but pretty awesome. Sorry, sorry for your loss, man. All right, let's go through the rapper response to their account. There's a few for those who know this is the first time they have ever done a midterm convention. A lot of the media framing, which has been hilarious to see is like they go from one Trump is trying to make this all about himself. Like, what is he doing here? And then they're going to like, is Trump like trying to lose the midterms on purpose? Like, what's going on? They can't figure out what's what's happening here. And in this, this whole thing, it's like another campaign rally for Trump. It's as if he was actually running for president. So let's play this clip here. If you have anything to add, you can feel free. Well, just show, show my screen real quick in terms of before the clips.
This working. This was tonight, but like you said, million, million of these the last couple of days, 15 third of all, and last night for hours. Does Trump want Republicans to win the midterms? So it's just interesting framing. And there was some schizophrenia in the media leading up to it because most of the pieces were that, that was the bent of them. Like, you know, what's Trump doing? Axios use the word sabotage is Trump sabotaging the GOP, which sounds a little bit like a bad landish take. But then there was one from Politico today, quote, they would drag themselves over broken glass to vote for Trump. And this was unnamed supposedly unnamed GOP senators or unnamed GOP strategists talking about the support that Trump still enjoys in the party that we all know this in the, you know, the actual voter base. So it's like the media spent a week saying, man, this guy's toxic.
He has no mandate. He should stay far away from the midterms and yet the GOP strategists are like, no, all there is is Trump. We live in Trump. And that's all that matters. So it's, and I would say that's how Trump treated it based on what I've seen. I would agree. Let's, let's do, I don't even know which border to which border which video to play here because there's these are great. Just think the thing I want you guys to keep in mind and I know I already kind of mentioned this is we already have a majority in Congress. They have done absolute, absolutely nothing to help Trump with what he's doing. And we've talked about many times. Trump does not need Congress. He's operating on his own without Congress like and he's doing great. We don't give a shit about Congress. Neither does Trump. That's my opinion. But I think there's plenty to back that up. But this, think of all the amazing things that we can do. Trump is about to tell you how awesome things are going to be once we finally win the midterms and have that majority that we've always wanted.
Two months ago, we came together to celebrate one of the most glorious days in history, the 250th anniversary of our declaration of independence. And in 1776, our founders lit the immortal. He said 17. I don't know if you guys heard that. That's a decode. Just plan. A claim of American liberty in Philadelphia. What a time that was tonight. We gather in the great state of Texas. And by the way, have to brag it's a state. I won all three times in massive landslides. It got the highest vote. Got the highest vote in the history of Texas politics. Can you believe that? But we all hold the flame high and carry it boldly forward.
We love this state. And we love this country. That's all we can say. But what an honor it is to be in Texas. What a place. What a place. What a place. With your support, we will make our nation stronger, safer, richer, freer and greater than it has ever been before. Too much. It's going to be better. That was probably the wrong clip. It goes on to say all the things we're going to do with the majority of the Congress. I think this is the one. I just can't wait to get to the $5,000 dividend one. But we're going to work our way through these. We're going to continue to have. We have the strongest borders now in the history of our country. We've never had anything. We have to have strong borders. We have to continue low taxes. I gave you the biggest tax decrease in the history of our country. And no crime. We want no crime. We don't want crime. We'll have American energy independence, something you know a lot about in Texas. And even we will have energy dominance.
We will stand with our heroes in the military, our veterans. We love our veterans. And we take care of our veterans. 94% and our great police and law enforcement. We love our police and law enforcement. And above all will. And I think it's so important because there is a crazy little stick cloud over our country. I really believe it's not going anywhere, but we have to make sure. Because we will defeat communism in America and vote for American freedom. We will just vote very simply for American freedom. And finally defeat that communism. Yep. We're going to get freedom to defeat communism. None of which we could do before this, but now it's all coming true. I think this is a Trump dividend one. I'm just skipping ahead.
And it's a long video. Why is it? Let's do it. But what we're doing is because we've done so well. And because our country is making so much money that only I can make this promise to you. And here is my promise. If the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the United States Senate, both of them, because of our economic, tremendous economic success, like in history, we've never had anything like what's happening. But because of our tremendous strength and success economically, I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000. OK. So first I'd like to counteroffer. Since we already have a majority in Congress, let's get 2,500 of that up front. We'll take the other 2,500 after we keep the majority.
That's the counteroffer. But also, is this even, are you even allowed to do this? Are you allowed to, like, like, if I were to run for president and be like, once I win president and president, as long as I have a full House and Senate majority, I will give everybody $100,000. Like, the number doesn't matter. It's the principle, like, are you allowed to just like pride people with voting? Well, that's a slippery slope there because one of the themes we've discussed a lot this whole year is basically the idea that despite controlling Congress throughout Trump's second term, many of his agendas have seemingly been blocked with the help of at least some of the GOP rendering the majority somewhat moot. And one way of looking at something like that, I mean, maybe it's just a traumatic, it's just some random narrative deployment or whatever. But it's a pretty, like, direct thing to say. I'm going to give everybody a $5,000 dividend.
Is he, is he, if the Republicans do have Congress, does he get Lord that over them when they try to block it? Or is it just, you know, another thing if the so-called left wins, we're told wins the midterms is you get to Lord that over them and say, look it, I was going to give everybody $5,000 until those dastardly Democrats get in there, got in there. But I like to think of it from the GOP framing and think this whole year, a lot of times on the show I've been saying in the context of the Iran War, I keep looking for the GOP to more directly step out on the ledge against Trump. And it really feels like they've been tiptoeing, they've been scared, they've been unnamed. Some of them are kind of going out onto the ledge, basically by not addressing this convention because they feel like it's beneath them because Trump has made it such a big deal. So you know, if we've, we've gameed all these scenarios out, but if the GOP we are told wins the midterms, then I don't think Trump's posture toward Congress is going to change
it all. In fact, I think it's going to accelerate and that would be kind of a funny way to accelerate that if we're told, hey, we need the GOP in there, everything's going to be great. These are all the things they're going to do for you. And then the GOP is like, we actually are not going to do that because, you know, X, Y and Z reason. Yeah, we've talked about this before. It might have been on a Wednesday power hour, but like that to me is game theory wise, makes the most sense. If you believe in a uniparty, which I think a lot of people say they do, operate like they do, I certainly do. If you're the uniparty, up to this point, you've had to like rely on Trump and pretend that you support him. You need his endorsement for whatever reason. You need to like, you need to play along with what Trump is doing. But if there was ever a time to like, okay, well, now's the time we are going to actually utilize the uniparty and turn on Trump, it would be after the midterms because then after that, you don't need them anymore. They think and they can get rid of them.
Like look what happened after the 2020 election, how many people, after the violent, very violent and super real insurrection turned on Trump. The people that we were told and that they told their supporters like, yeah, I'm going to go up there and I'm going to vote for a new slate of electors or whatever the vote was going to be about. And how many of them instantly flipped a switch. They had the permission finally to like turn on Trump. They finally had the permission they needed and they did so. I wonder if we're going to see situations like that, whatever happens after these dastardly midterms. But I don't know. You know, I mean, again, there's so many scenarios, but I do firmly believe that many of the scenarios, many of the ways that you game out the midterms from an actual, or, you know, or from a narrative, I think that Trump is targeting the GOP narratively. It's not because I think he's a fan of the Democrats. It's like I've said on the show before, I think that the cultural damage is largely done. The mandate damage is largely done to the so called the Democrat brand.
Even the Democrats are admitting that because as we've also talked about, especially June, July and August, they've got this intra party civil war that they're even acknowledging that is not really happening on the so called right. You've got the Republicans. You've got MAGA, but it's not quite as amped up as it was a couple of years ago when there was a real split there. I don't know. I think this is a split now too though. I mean, I think of the messy stuff and the, yeah, I guess I just feel like it's a little played out, but that that might just be I'm biased not paying as much attention to it. Yeah. I think the national news stories like in terms of what the political sphere is focusing on, they seem to be focusing more on the left versus left of it all. Really? I don't see that. Like, especially on social media is like the stupid, fabricated infighting amongst the MAGA flu influencers. I think that shows the silos, right? Social media, you might be right. And then the actual narrative deployments of the media like articles and features in the political and Axio is like the professional propagandists are focused in one direction,
but the social media sphere to your point probably is largely dominated by real MAGA and fake MAGA all fighting with each other. Well, isn't the mainstream, the mainstream media has been like doing a whole bunch of articles. Again, this is just what I've, what I've seen, but it's all about how like, it's going to be a blue wave. But like, that's, they're focusing more on that right. Very much. Yeah. Then there was a period of time like two months ago, probably, before some of the primaries where they were like talking about the DSA stuff and that split, since then they moved on to like, at least what I've seen, to... Now they're in the midterm cycle. Yeah. And so now it's all blue wave. Yeah. Anti-Trump. Anyway, sorry, keep going. There was a few like, they hedge their bets and say, are there any scenarios in which the GOP could stage an upset? Up-address that at one point in the speech where he was just broadly talking about the, whatever the statistics were of the, how incumbent presidents, they lose, you know, their party
tends to lose in the midterms. And he was saying, we got to stop that string. We got to break that string at some point. So you know, that was another little marker of where he's basically saying, I took it to mean we have all these so-called rules and statistics that the sort of political cycle conditions us to accept as normal. People were talking about this in 2025, six months into Trump's term where any political, anybody like that right laughter in between is like, well, you know, he'll probably lose the midterms. And this was before we were told his agenda was unpopular. So Trump, I think, was referencing some of that and saying, hey, you should also be careful that you don't fall into these siops of just assuming that we lost the midterms because everybody has been saying for two years, obviously we're going to lose the midterms because those are the rules. But the last one on the GOP is just, okay. Of him saying that we could play. But we'll get onto that. When I'm in the ticket, Republicans always do very well.
We won the presidency three times. Now we won't. We won't. We won't. We won't. We won't. We won't. We won't. We won't. By the way, now you notice numerous people on the other side are actually admitting it. How about that? But this was a cool way of doing it. But we won it big and we also won everything else because, you know, whatever it is, I was on the ticket. People came and they did tremendously with the senators and with the congressmen. But for some reason, when a president wins, even if he's really a good president or a great president, there aren't too many of them, they don't win the midterms. And nobody quite knows why. It's too out of, think of it, too out of 25 races. We're going to change that. There's no reason for it. There's no reason for it. Okay, but we'll get on. Okay, anyway, continue. Yeah, so my last point of the GOP is just if, you know, if the so-called left were told
wins the midterms, that's one way where Trump could ironically focus fire on the GOP because to your point about baiting them or seeing if they're going to turn, they would probably turn in that scenario, right? Like if the left, if we get this blue wave scenario, the right is going to turn on Trump, the institutional right, they're all going to come out and say it was his fault. He should have, you know, his agenda is not popular. We were telling him not to do a run. We were telling him not to do this and that. We were telling him to stay away from us during the midterms. Like literally, that's all the features we've been reading for the last few weeks is all these unnamed GOP guys, right? So the blue wave could present an opportunity for Trump to basically get the GOP to separate themselves from him. But even in a quote-unquote red wave scenario or the GOP maintaining control, maybe that $5,000 dividend is just one of the examples of things Trump can do to dial up the pattern
that we've already noted throughout the first two years, which is that Trump is governing. He's forwarding his agenda, but he's largely doing it through executive order, decrees, and basically finding any constitutional avenue that he can to go around Congress. And maybe he'll just dial that up in the last two years of the term to make it clear. There's a line of demarcation between him and the GOP. Yeah, exposing election fraud would probably also do that, showing that none of them are legitimate. That'd be cool too. I want to finish this clip that we had going, where did I put that? Here we go. This is the rest of that $5,000 bribe to vote for Republicans. Very much like a successful company will do a cash distribution to a chair oldest, or
like last year when I gave our great members of the military, 1776, remember? Just at 17 again, guys, just for those not paying attention, there's another opportunity for decodes, so hold on to your seats, I guess. Give it to our military, $1776. Can you believe the number was $1775? And I said, you know, we had $1, where it's $1776, can you? I said, did anybody think of that? No. But we gave our great military 1776 dollars, and they are thrilled every time I see them, they thank me. But this is what we're doing, and it was greatly appreciated, just like I did with the Trump accounts for children, where young people, children, and many of them born into poverty or families with very little money or future, will be potentially rich when they turn 18
or 21, think of it, their family won't have much money, but the government is putting $1,000 into an account for beautiful babies, born. But in many cases, they're born into poverty, they're born poor, they're born not rich, but they get $1,000, and we do matching funds and all sorts of things. Michael and Susan Dell, you put up. Okay, that's enough of this. When you say Susan Dell, I have to turn it off because she does not look like a Susan, it's more like a shawner, something that lady is hideous. But yeah, that's just ridiculous to me. I obviously would take $5,000. That sounds amazing, I love money, but also, I'm not, that doesn't seem like the greatest idea either, I don't know. It's just so, it's also, I don't know how I feel about this, I really don't. I'm having fun with it, not because I'm trying to analyze it in great detail.
I think it's, it's actually my main takeaway, Chris and Ash were having some good, back and forth on it in the chat earlier tonight. I'm sure he'll have some good stuff to say on Saturday. But to me, it's partly the demeanor of Trump as the story sometimes. And he certainly doesn't have a negative demeanor here. And yeah, he says go out and vote in the midterms. But I've said for a long time in various contexts, some of the topics we discuss. Anytime it seems stressful or, you know, we're told such and such thing is the biggest deal in the world and all important. What does Trump's demeanor say about that thing? And yeah, his words are saying go vote in the midterms if the GOP doesn't win. We're not going to have a country anymore. We've heard this for 10 years in every election from Trump. Even the ones he lost, whether that's midterms or actual elections, presidential elections, didn't lose the country.
So you know, it just feels like it was a bit of a comedy hour sort of thing where he's screwing around. He seems to be talking about, in my opinion, the demeanor was that he's talking about the midterms. He's talking about the people he needs to talk about as sort of obligations like he's got to hit these markers. But otherwise it didn't feel like that's what he was, he was there to discuss. And it really just made me think of continuity of government, devolution and what the actual plan is again, going back to the idea that Trump has basically been governing as command or chief as the, what is it, unitary executive theory or whatever it is? It feels like that's what he's doing. He's doing this pit stop. He's making sure that the midterms are about him and that you can't get away as we discussed at the very beginning of the show. All sides of the game board are acknowledging that there is no getting away from the center of gravity that is Donald Trump.
There's no GOP senators making their names. There's no Democrats making their names. There's Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump. And when he's there, he's saying, these are all the things I've been doing for the last two years. And I'm going to keep doing these things for the next two years. So that's kind of my takeaway. It's, I don't think he gives a crap about the midterms, even though he apparently has to say they're very important. Yeah. You know, the way he's just so good about making, being the lightning rod, as Chris Paul would say, making everything about himself. There's one way that you can definitely get the mainstream media to talk about this, because they probably weren't, they're probably going to shit all over this, right? Like, oh, Trump doing another campaign rally, all this stuff. Now they're going to have to spend the next couple days, if not weeks, talking about how Trump is trying to bribe everybody with $5,000. And I think that's a funny headline, because people are going to, that's going to make it around. It's a great troll, because at the end of the day, I have a hard time believing that it's actually going to happen. It'd be great if it did. But I just, I'm so skeptical, but it is a great way to get people to like talk about
Trump again. And, and did he mention a single race or anything at this thing tonight, because I did not have a chance. My son had football the night and, uh, just talked about 10 packs and in particular, um, that's the other races. Not exactly. Think of, but I didn't finish it. I watched more than half of it, but yeah, if anybody in chat knows, go ahead. Interesting. It was the first ever, like midterm convention or whatever. Did it actually line up with how they do things at the other convention, like the normal convention where they elect the candidates, all that stuff? I don't think so. I mean, from what I saw, it was just Trump getting up there to riff and do a comedy hour. Interesting. I think he was the only, was he the only speaker? Trump. No, I did see that. I saw Annapalea Luna got up there and, you know, she, she chose, what she thought would be the most viral social media post. And she rallied against members of Congress should not be allowed to trade stocks.
No more inside her trading. She was involved also in the very widespread, um, AI up today. So what she, what'd she do? She was calling for, uh, she was calling for controls. I can find the article I have it for when we get to that section. Yeah. I thought, I thought, like, so I'm pretty sure Annapalea Luna's husband does like trading or something. I can be wrong. I don't know if it's okay. Anna Polino Luna's husband and what does he do? It's really funny if she comes out like railing against inside of trading and he's like, uh, what is he doing? Now Polino's different. There's no apparent publicly verified any civilian job for him. That's weird. Okay. Well, never mind that.
There was another clip. I was going to play if I can find it here from tonight's speech. And did you have any specific clips that you want to play? Otherwise? No, I think you hit the ones, uh, basically, um, he said a few times or at least once he said, pretend I'm running, pretend I'm on the ballot. That sort of thing. He made a bunch of a sides in the first 20 minutes about, uh, his assistants and analysts when it comes to his speeches and how he doesn't listen to them. And, uh, he basically was basically commenting on how all the people around him that purport to tell him what to say and what's important, never actually know what's important or what he should actually say. So he just ignores them usually, uh, which I thought was kind of notable because even just in the context of him talking about the midterms and how serious it is.
Uh, yeah, he was talking. So Roshark, I didn't see this part, but he said he also talked about his weaves, uh, which, you know, he does that from time to time. Yeah, he was talking about his, uh, I think he called them analysts, but yeah, he's like, oh, they always tell me one of his decides. They always tell me, don't say this, sir. It'll be bad for you, sir. It'll be bad for the messaging and I don't listen to them. I'm trying to find, I mean, it's also fresh. It's hard to see. Yeah. It was toward the beginning. It was like in the first 20 minutes or so. But wait here, if this is a transcript, we might be in luck. They ain't no transcript yet. Okay, well, let me look at this up. Trump midterm, somebody's pointing something out about on the two scots and photo ID. And I think that's funny. Photo ID. See if I can find this clip. Trump promises he will slash out of control credit card swipe fees.
What? Just get rid of all the fees. Maybe this is the clip. I'm going to keep looking, but let's check this out. Sorry, guys, this thing was just finished up while we were going live. So not everything is as smooth as we would want this here. But they voted against no tax. So this is everything. One, it's incredible that Congress and it house that they were able to get this as they voted against no tax. They voted against no tax on overtime. They voted against 100% no. Okay, I found the better one. This is the one that he said and this is hilarious. Gosh, so funny. Listen to us. We want voter ID voter identification. Ideally, ideally, we want it with a photo. So that when I see Tim Scott, who made a great speech tonight, by the way,
I watched it. Senator Tim Scott, South Carolina. So when he speaks, I won't get him mixed up with, let's see who's over there with Scott Bessent. Okay. I want a photo ID. So Tim and Scott don't get mixed up. We want super funny because one's black and the other one's gay and you can never mix those two up. I don't know, man. Maybe you're just two racist could be, could be my problem. It could be. I'm trying to find another clip here. Somebody said something about find the one on chapter 11. I don't know. I'm not seeing it. Just search the word chapter. I did. And it didn't yield any results. So, okay, well, whatever we can move on from the midterm stuff.
Unless any of you guys have some good clips that you want to play for us tomorrow's day two. And I was talking about on my show today. It's funny. Like they last minute changed the speaking lineup from day two. Trump wasn't originally supposed to be the headliner for day two. I don't think he was going to originally talk at all. It was supposed to be JD Vance's night. So like wrap up the whole thing. He still might be the last speaker. But Trump is going to speak again tomorrow and still has thunder. So even if they want to make it about JD Vance and like set the table for him, they can't do it. Because Trump is just going to rain all over that parade. My honest feeling on this and I don't know what we're going to be told is happening on the back of the midterms. I haven't changed my views on all the things we talk about of elections being fake, etc, etc. But what is Trump doing? What is this all about? I really think it's partly a humiliation ritual. And I don't think it's humiliation ritual on the American people, although, you know,
I'm fine with some people thinking that the midterms. I think the elections are right now. But what is Trump doing? To me, it has this feeling of just like we've been saying all year, Trump is governing essentially de facto as a king as much as he can until the two other co-eagle branches keep trying to stop him at every turn, including the one we supposedly control. Just like that is true, it is also true that in keeping with what you and I talked about in 2024 or hibernation theory, the enemy system is still attempting to continue on, right? Not only are they attempting to survive, they're attempting to kind of just act like not everything has changed. And what I mean by that is all the articles were referencing like the gravitational pull of Trump and how it's Trump's party and he can't get out of the way and everything. I think that's what he's doing. I think that Trump is at war with the political establishment, which includes the GOP,
it includes the election apparatus, it includes all of it. And I see this whole thing as essentially Trump subjecting the process itself to a humiliation ritual. And kind of coming out and saying, I know that you, mother fuckers, want the next eight weeks to be midterm, midterm, midterm, midterm, just like all year. Everybody on the right left and in between who fancies themselves upon it has been talking about the midterms. But I'm here to remind all of you that the only thing that matters is me. And the only thing that matters is me, the reason the only thing that matters is me is because I have the mandate of the American people. And that's all that matters. And it just feels like he's not letting them do their campaigning, he's not letting them do their whole pageantry and their process and all the stuff they want to do and their serious polling. By the way, earlier today, I think it's branding car of the FCC,
put out a statement saying that we're going to start going after fake polls. Now, how's he going to do that? He didn't say. But he's basically threatening in the eight weeks leading up to the midterms. He's like threatening media apparatus and saying, if you guys start doing your shit with your polls, we're going to start opening investigations into you. And That's funny because the only way you can go after fake polls is if you know what the real polls are like. Yeah, I mean, I don't know. I don't know if there's any truth to that. It's just in terms of what he's going to, if he's actually going to act on any of this, it's just, it has a feeling to me of like, we're just going to drown out your midterm drama and replace every headline that would have been about the GOP versus the Democrats at the midterms with Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump. And the media that hates Trump is falling into that trap because all of their headlines this week are about Donald Trump, right? The same people who are complaining, by the way, that he's two in the way are writing about how
he's two in the way. And you know, that's a very, it's just a very macro take, like it doesn't have anything to do with the midterms. I just think Trump is putting himself front and center and saying, come December 1st, nobody's going to give a shit. What happened three weeks before and I will still be the damn president. So good luck. Yeah, it's just so funny. It's always about Trump though. Like that, they say like, what would you just said there about how they're making all about Trump while trying to say like, it's not about, you know, it's always about Trump, always all the time. Yeah, everything is Trump. Everything is Trump. It is only Trump. Yeah. And so of course, like this election, the last election, every election, whatever, whatever you want to call them, they're always about Trump. And I'm just, I'm curious to say the least. We've been kind of like dreading almost this period of time in the couple months before the midterms because so many douche bays out there that you know, try to virtue signal about how hard they vote
and how important it is to vote and all those things. On the heels of talking about all this election fraud and how, you know, they will continue to virtue signal over every topic, even when they contradict themselves. And I do think that is ridiculous. I do, I do not think you should be, I think you should be called out if you go from talking about how fraudulent our elections are and how fraudulent the system is and all these things and then continue to, you know, push the participation in that system. Like I think those two things do contradict themselves a little bit. Yeah. But we're going to get more of that. I was kind of dreading this period of time because of that. But now I'm like, see now things are starting. This, you know, Trump is doing the campaign rally stuff. He's kind of leaning in this period of time before the midterms are going to be spicy to say the least. And it's going to be it. I think it's going to be hilarious. So I am excited. Let me propose a different theory too. That's kind of inspired by what you just said and what Ash was saying earlier tonight in chat. She was talking about, you know, she always talks about transformation programs, change programs. And I think it's interesting when she layers that over,
you know, Trump from a Trump in the Patriots from a macro perspective, like the biggest change event you can think of. And, you know, her framing of it is a little bit different than a lot of ours because we talk about these things from like a macro level. You talk about these things from an executive order level, continuity government, et cetera. She talks about it from like a corporate change management level, which is sequential. It's like that this is how you would order these things. These are the departments you would go after. This is how long it usually takes and applying that to a national framework. For the sake of argument, it's worth considering, well, we've been wondering for years, like when's he going to rip the bandaid off? When is he going to expose election fraud if we think he could, he just could at any time. And one thing that we have often deferred to is or defaulted to is, oh, it has something to do with public mandate. It has something to do with one or the people ready, et cetera. And we've always acknowledged we might be wrong about that, right? Because we're kind of frustrated at it. It doesn't seem like
more normies are are doing out on elections than before. I think more people are excited to vote than ever. So if you take Ashes framing of this and you think there is a timeline on the change management program, on the transformation program that Trump is implementing now in office, is it better for the people doing actual things in the Trump administration if the machine is allowed to continue playing their games that ultimately don't affect that transformation program as it is going on? In other words, if you're, if you've got whatever the timeline is on the financial stuff, on the Iran war stuff, on the global energy stuff, whatever it is, we've got regime changes in Venezuela, Pax Americana, we have a trade war with Canada right now. Are there a certain number of actuals that Trump is like, I don't care what you guys do over in your little play pen corner? And you know, taking Chris's analogy of Biden and applying that to the
entire Congress and election system, they're just saying, guys, we literally are governing as if you don't exist now. So we're just going to keep doing the transformation program until we get to a stage where we feel like you can't undo any of it. And then we reveal we come and fix the last part of it, which is elections, you know, because I guess the argument would be, well, why would they do that? Why would they wait? And I would say, well, maybe they don't want that fight right now. Maybe they think, if all these people think that they're earnestly campaigning for midterms that actually matter in a 2028 election cycle that actually matters, they're not focusing their fire on stopping the actual agenda that's being implemented. Yeah, I mean, that, I like it. I also hate it at the same time. And this comes to the same debate we have with like alpha or whoever, when it's like, okay, I get that. Yeah, I understand the game through behind it. And that very well
could be what's happening. The reason I hate it is because there are actual damages that are being done. I think people are people that were like earnestly and honestly like there wanting to get involved, they would do whatever for Trump. They're checking out because of how things are playing out like this. And I totally get why I like it. Yeah, but is that because of, I guess, I guess my, the argument would posit that the transformation program itself is what is causing the damages. And Trump and team are well aware of that and knew that that was going to be the case. You know, in other words, it's not because we have fake elections that we are experiencing for dollar gas. It's because Trump is implementing a change program, transformation program, that was going to do this no matter what. And you know, I've kind of remarked in some private conversations and a little bit on my show that Trump has a posture this year, that the only thing that has surprised me a little bit about his posture is to your point, even when he's addressing
doom in his own base. He has a war like posture about it right now and is basically saying like, I don't care. You know, and I mean, I'm not saying that that's good. But I think that he is clearly moving forward with a posture of like, I'm implementing an agenda and nothing is going to stop that agenda. I'm implementing, including my own base, not being happy with it. And you know, I just, I'm just making the argument that he might just be applying that to the entire election infrastructure and just saying like, yep, I know it's a problem. It doesn't matter right now. We're doing much more important things. And then we'll address that when we need to in the meantime, they can keep pretending that they're having real elections. Yeah. Do you think Trump is actually implementing the full scale of his agenda as he would like it? Like do you think, because you said, I'm just going to keep him from my agenda. And I do think he's doing some things. Like there are certain aspects of what he can do and is doing outside of the purview of Congress. He's rolling with it. But there are some things that I think eventually we do need a legitimate
election system, which gets us legitimately elected people. If any of that is even possible to codify some of this stuff, otherwise it does run the, I mean, if everything is just executive action, and we do get to a point, and again, guys, I'm with the devolution theory. I do think there's something bigger going on. And I do believe Trump is going to run again in 2028. But hypothetically speaking, since that's the game we're playing, if there gets to a point where Trump is no longer there, then the next president, like if we continue to operate as if elections are real, and there's ever a period where Trump is not there, how do we know that they're just not going to wipe it all away again? Yeah. I mean, I, I mean, I don't have the answer to it. I just, this is why a lot of what I focus on is geopolitics as it relates to Trump, because I was having this conversation with my wife earlier today, regarding Canada. I, for as an example, I think that Trump could destroy the Canadian economy today. Like if you do the math, he could pretty much turn it off and win, right? Like we wouldn't suffer almost at all. And that country is done. They,
they're entire, it's like the age-old analogy of the unplugging the heroin addict. You could probably do that, like there's probably a bunch of countries Trump could do that too. Well, exactly. I can't, there's just an example. He could do this all over the world. So I think that's relevant in this context, because I think the transformation program is that, I, I think the transformation program, and I always have, is more about the rest of the world, because I think, despite our flaws, the US is in the strongest position. Like despite all of our bitching, our Americans, I mean, far and away in a better position than every other country in the world by a huge margin. And I think the transformation, the changes that are happening on an actual level, when you talk about the agenda, like is Trump's agenda being implemented? I think if you look at the global space, it is on a rapid timeline. There's massive upheaval all around the world. A lot of it, I think, being prompted by a lot of Trump's moves. But here at home,
it almost is like we have this, what do they call it, in Taiwan, porcupine strategy. Like we're shelling up and just kind of like taking the damage in the meantime. Taiwan uses the word porcupine. I think maybe that's the American military doctrine about if Taiwan is attacked. They call it porcupine, porcupine strategy. But basically like, hey, don't attack. Just shell up and make enemy attacks damaging to the enemy. So if I'm broadly right that the transformation program in the first two years, at least to Trump's term, is mostly about the global stage and not the domestic stage, then his agenda can be being implemented. It's just not focused right here. And you know, you and I have talked about even during the Biden term, the switch theory and all that kind of stuff. Timelines, I was certainly wrong about. I thought a lot of that stuff would feel much more immediate 2025, 2026. But it's all still being implemented. You know, the data center projects
we talk about. So again, that's broad. I just think, you know, we feel like not a lot is happening in terms of Trump's agenda. But it would actually be funny to go talk to a Normie Canadian and say, do you think Trump is doing a lot? And they would be like, oh my god, Trump has basically turned our entire economic system as a country and political system upside down in the last seven days. Whereas for Americans, it was Monday. Yeah, no, I totally agree with everything you're saying. And as I don't want, sometimes I have to play devil's advocate a little bit. I've got to answer good questions. Yeah, I talk routinely about, you know, the the the switch theory and stuff and like how there are things get lined up. But but again, like the conversations I have with people on a day to day basis and the issues they're having, the struggles they're having economically. There's one of the things I said today actually was it's I hope when Trump comes out and talks about all this stuff, he doesn't talk about how great things are right now because that is not a message you say to people when
they're not feeling that themselves. Like it's a it's a main street issue right now. There's gosh, who else was I talking to today? We just literally just had this kind of might have been Matt McDonough. We were talking. It's like there are people that are doing really well right now. But most of the people on Main Street are not like not those people. Those are the people that are really struggling and that's what we need to vote in the midterms. So there's such a weird time with the with the narrative warfare going on. It's I don't know. I don't know. I'm just I want to see this next month and a half or however, what are we two months away from the midterms? I'm curious. I think what I'm looking for the most is something election related. And I'm not even saying I'm not even saying like we need a national emergency or whatever. That would be cool. I just want to see something big that has everybody lose their damn minds. Because I think that's what we what we need right now is like a nationwide come to Jesus moment. And I don't know what that looks like or what that's going to be. But I would love for it to be around the elections. And we can go from there. I don't really care beyond that. But if we don't get that, it's going to be really
hard for all the people who told us how important the Save America Act was. And if we didn't have it, we would never have a country again, including Trump himself, how we go headfirst into these midterms with a straight face without having that in place. Because it's not happening. Like the Save America Act is no longer happening. Guys. Yeah. So and who stopped that John? Badlanc stick. We were in positive. Oh, I forgot. We are the most powerful apparatus in the world. But besides us who can stop what's coming. That should be just like our resume. All of us at Badlanc just like can stuff like key skills can stop what's coming by talking about things. Oh, yeah. In hypotheticals. That's what we do. What was I going to say? Man, I just lost it. Save America Act midterms. Hope something. Oh, I was going to say who's stopping the Save America Act? The GOP, the fucking GOP
stop the Save America Act guys. Like we control Congress, the GOP that we're trying to vote for in the to get the Save America Act passed. Currently controls Congress and blocked the Save America Act. Every single time. So now do I think that's a bad thing? Not necessarily as we've talked about for months and months and months. But the GOP stopped it. It's it's so crazy, man. I know I've been talking about this every week, but we currently control Congress. And nobody knows. Not a single person on Twitter knows nobody in Congress knows it. And when I say we it's because it's not us. It's the uniparty that controls Congress. That is the answer. But yeah, I mean, it's that's not the people aren't telling you to go vote for the uniparty. Even though they'll talk about the uniparty existing, they'll tell you to go vote Republican. And then pretend they only talk about the uniparty when it when it fits their narrative. Oh, yes, you guys should go read this post and read some of the comments because some people think it's hilarious because it is. But some people are like you do
understand we actually have the majority in Congress right now. Right? Look at what that's got. It's yeah, thank you. You missed the you missed the point here. hilarious. Yeah. Let me play this clip. This is I think this was from today. Very brief on Trump with the Iran war and the election. Here we go. Mr. President, we're going to find out. Mr. President, I think the war is going to end immediately after the election. I think the war will end immediately after the election. Because they can't hold out any longer. They're desperate to go and hold out some of them before so that we can get a nice week group of people in there and leave them alone and let them have their nuclear weapon. All they want is a nuclear weapon. And if they had a nuclear weapon, the whole world is in deep trouble. Are you still holding? Okay. Now I'm sure you go ahead. Let's play with that for a second. Let's just let's just say he's
right. And that after the midterms, the Iran war is over because that question, there was a further line of questioning about energy prices and gas prices. And they were like you keep saying they're going to come down and they haven't come down and he was like they'll come down immediately after the election. And that that's what prompted that. They're like what are you talking about? And he's like well, the war is going to be over after the election. But the second part of what he says there, he says they can't hold out any longer. And my hair brain admittedly skits a frenic theory about the Iran war for the entire year has been that the reason Trump doesn't care about the perpetuation of the forever war narrative is because the longer it goes, the more it is destabilizing the globalist system, not the American economy, even though we are suffering ill effects from it. And I think he's also saying there one way of interpreting it is that everybody in the world who's against Trump, which includes all of NATO, Canada, the GOP, the Democratic Party,
basically the US government, everyone has been using the Iran war as the albatross around Trump's neck and around his agenda. The oil companies that he's been threatening with law fair or not even law fair, criminal charges have been targeted by him. So everybody has been leaning on Trump. And I think my my opinion on this again, Canada's a great example of this. Trump said in a recent interview that like asked why is Mark Carney doing this when every even nor me financial analyst is looking at the math and being like what is he doing? And Trump and his analysts are saying, Canada is trying to interfere in the midterms. So everybody is inflicting maximum damage on themselves by going all in on the midterms. And I think what Trump is telling you is that it doesn't matter what happens in the midterms. I am in full control of the battle space. What happens on the
world stage is up to me and or the sovereign alliance. So none of this matters. And all the damages that they think they're doing to me and my agenda aren't going to matter and they can't keep suffering these things to happen after the midterms. But you're going to you're going to see Canada sign a deal the week after the midterms. Yeah, well that's exactly what they did. It reminds me of 2020 with the COVID vaccine and how they released the COVID vaccine like three days after the election. It might even it was like right after Joe Biden has cleared the winner. Clear your stuff. But the way I look at that is so can you play the clip again? Like just the first part once he says it'll be over right after the election. Yeah. And then they can't hold out any longer. Play that part. Mr. President, we're going to find out. Mr. President, I think the war is going to end immediately after the election. I think the war will end immediately after the election
because they can't hold out any longer. They're desperate to try and affect the election so that we can get a nice week group of people in there and leave them alone and let them have their nuclear weapon. All they want is. So the story that we keep being sold from the mainstream media and everybody is that this is Trump's war of choice. This is Trump's war. He's the one who controls us. He is the commander in chief. I don't know if they actually did this or not, but they were floating for a period to end the war like they were going to declare an official end so that they could restart the war power's clock. But if anyway, if we're going at the mainstream media framing of Trump's war of choice, but he's blaming it. He's saying on Iran like there's holding out for a weaker group of people in there, whatever. But you could look at this the other way around is that yes, it is Trump's war of choice, whether it's real or narrative or whatever you want to say it and that the reason it's going to be overrate after the midterms is because Trump will have it over by then and it then. But the reason he kept this war of choice going, the one
that is actually causing real narrative damage, I think to like there are some people who are returning on Trump or at least some people who are using the Iran war as a narrative cudgel against Trump and you know, don't support Trump, whatever. He's doing it on purpose so that we, because he doesn't care about the midterms. Like do you understand what I'm saying? He's in control of it and it will be over after the midterms because he wants it over then. He doesn't care about it right now because he doesn't care about the midterms. Yeah, and I totally agree with that. And you know, I've obviously been talking about him more from a geopolitical lens in terms of, you know, geopolitically, I think the actuals are happening and by that, I don't mean that the Iran war is real because I don't think it is at least in the way it's talked about. But in terms of the global realignment that is occurring on the back of the story of the Iran war, it's absolutely real. I mean, there are massive, you know, Ghost and I talk about this a lot. There are massive infrastructure projects like being funded right now that have already started all over the Middle
East as a direct result of the story of the Iran war. Europe is hemorrhaging in terms of energy and narratively. Now in elections, we're told over in Europe as a direct result of the Iran war, all these kinds of things. Domestically, our gas has gone up and Trump has been saying the entire time that that is not because of the Iran war, but because of the future's markets and because of speculators, i.e. the American oligarchy, the oil cartel, which I wrote about six months ago in my Iran war series and said he was targeting the oil cartel and the globalist cartel, aka NATO, with the Iran war squeeze. So I completely agree that Trump, because Trump has consistently said he doesn't care how long it goes and that seems to buck every other indicator we have. Why wouldn't he care if it is doing real damage to his mandate and all this kind of stuff? And I think it's because of what you're saying. I think he knows it's damaging them more than it's damaging him
and that he's in control of it. And then my earlier point tonight that I've made before, specifically about the GOP, I think Trump has also allowed the Iran war narrative to perpetuate because it's increasingly emboldening GOP congressmen to step out against him and he wants those things to happen. You know, you can cue the infamous clip from whatever it was, 1987, you know, one of these ancient Trump clips that we all like to play from time to time. But the one where he's saying, someday I'd like to lose everything to see who's loyal. I mean, look at 2026 and tell me that isn't exactly part of what he's been doing with the Iran war narrative that he says is over and then restarted every day and has been for eight months. You know, it's, it really is at this point. You can debate me and Chris Paul and whatever, you know, to your feelings content about what is real and what is fake over in the straight of horror moves. But to think
that the O-Sync guys on Twitter or the media telling you what is or isn't happening over there is logically consistent with the things Donald Trump has been saying for the last six or six to eight months is ridiculous. The people that consistently consistent with himself. He's constantly doing that himself. Yeah. And I'm talking about even from the perspective of Trump supporters, like you can't have it both ways. You can't keep saying all this stuff is very serious and very real. And then we play a clip like that. It's absurd to that, you know, the people that think that they're very serious geopolitical analysts or the people even in chat sometimes that are like, oh, just wait until the Iran Iranian regime runs out of money. It's like, and then you watch a clip like that and Trump isn't taking this seriously at all because it's a total joke. It's narrative cover for whatever he's actually implementing. And I'm having fun guessing what that is. But, you know, in the context of this discussion, it's how is the Iran war affecting U.S. politics? And I would say it is just continued to draw a line of demarcation between Donald Trump and
everybody else. Yeah. You know, I hate to go back to the $5,000 thing, but I think we should for a minute because I'm just thinking more about this now. And we have, this is on the heels of this week, like they're talking about that policy. They want to roll out about the $9,000 to stay at home moms and everything. And there's like big social media fight on Twitter about this. Like, I'm personally against that. And the more I think about them doing this now, right on the heels of that, I wonder if they're trying to like draw out more conversation about about a program like this because that this would be another welfare program. Wouldn't it? I mean, he's calling that a dividend. Maybe we don't know enough yet. I would still probably call it a bribe. But it seems like he's, like today we were kind of coming down off of that debate. It didn't seem as hot and heavy on social media anyway. And I feel like this is almost the same concept. Yeah. I'll be a little different. But it's like he's stoking that debate right back up again with the $5,000 dividend check. And I think that's notable. Yeah. It makes me think of a lot of what we've talked about with the switch theory going back a few years. And especially during his second term,
these stakes that he's been taking in these private companies. Yeah. You know, that's coming. Yeah. And you know, we talked about that a lot in July in terms of how they they were going to start calling him a communist. We were right about that. We nailed that about a month in advance. But is that related to this though? You know, I think there's an interesting convergence that whether or not this $5,000 thing happens or the $9,000 thing happens. Some of the debates it's provoking within not even just the magosphere, but like the American people in general is pretty fascinating. Yeah. Because on the one hand, you look at like $9,000 dividends. And me and Zach were talking about this on Sunday night. He was on the narrative. And you know, I was playing devil's advocate like, like, you know, saying, uh, this is kind of communist. I want to know where the money's coming from and who's getting it, etc. And Zach was taking the other angle on it. Yeah. Both of those. Yeah. Yeah. Both of those can be logically consistent though. And I think part of what's being beta tested here is if you go far, if you tiptoe down the rabbit
hole of a $9,000 dividend to stay at home moms is communism, then you immediately get hit with a shotgun of all of the communist programs that we currently have. And it wouldn't surprise me if part of what Trump is doing here is like getting that debate out into the wild and saying like, hey, are you over 65? Communism. Like all of this is communist. Like what we don't have the system that we've all been pretending we have. Does that mean that everybody should get $5,000 dividends? I don't know. I'm just saying I think it's kind of funny because all these debates whether they're happening in like left toyed spheres or MAGA conservative spheres, people can easily push back and say, well, what's the difference between that and this, this program and this other program, etc. Yeah. That's the point. I mean, we should be talking about how we don't want any of those programs. We shouldn't have any welfare programs in my opinion. We shouldn't be giving money to any other
foreign country either. Like we just we print money and give it away. And we're in debt deficit, all these problems and we're still paying taxes and it's ridiculous. And I use the word we loosely. If dividends are to be real, then I think the manner in which they would be implemented that would make sense would be using the data center template as a template and saying if Trump's executive orders create an environment where massive conglomerates that have robbed the American people blind for decades are profiting to record numbers, then those companies should pay the American people as shareholders. And I think the data center debate, Trump has a real opportunity and I'm not the first person who's going to tell him this. I'm sure he knows this. But it feels to me like there's
something coming with this data center debate about like there's another shoot a drop because it's the only thing that the unit party can unify on left right and in between are all the anti-anti-data center, right? Trump is the only one that's pushing it positively besides the tech guys. Yeah. So is there another narrative shoot a drop with Trump where he comes out and says like okay, we've heard you. How about this is how we roll it out. And this is already happening. I was talking about it in chat. I think with John Drake recently, but a lot of these data center projects are actually signing deals with their local municipalities for dividends in various ways. And I'm wondering if part of this talk about five grand here and dividends here and stay at home moms, etc. Like are they starting to grease the rails of saying like hey, why don't you look at the infrastructure that these private companies are using that is your infrastructure, energy infrastructure, land, water. And you know, we maybe can throw a bone to the lefties who are freaking out
about the data centers and say okay, well then if they are going to use the natural environment, which isn't theirs. And if they are going to use the rivers, which are not theirs, and if they are going to use the electric grid, which is not theirs, then maybe we should get something for that. And some people are going to call that communism, but I think Trump, I don't know, he might just maybe it's also a slippery slope because literally every business everywhere uses water and electricity. Like so if we're going to do it to data centers, are we going to start taking a cut of every business and existence that uses electricity or water or city water or anything? Well, I think the idea is if they're using, if they're load on these systems is increasing costs for everybody in that town, which in some of these towns it is, then you can go the opposite direction. Yeah, but again, like if I'm thinking court of law, if you were to make, if that were to happen, you could make the case. Like I would, as a citizen, if I'm starting to get like money from
from a data center because they're using the land of the electricity, I would immediately go to court and be like I want money from all these other places too, like give me money from all these people and use the same argument. Like, yeah, I don't know. I know I'm playing devil's advocate, but I think the difference is the scale and not just that doesn't undo your principle from principles perspective, but the scale does matter here because if I open, if I open, but it doesn't matter on the principle or in court, I don't think it's like that's the legal argument would be. No, it does. I think because a lot of these are, they're zoning laws, there's, you know, eminent domain, all this kind of stuff that you can make an argument. Like if I'm opening a small business in Massachusetts, I'm not taking anything from anybody, but these data centers, and I'm I'm a data center defender of like, I'm like the data center defender at Badlands. I'm just saying it is also true that they can't get these projects without the public or the government of a certain municipality approving them. Like they're not, they can't just go get the land and spin these things
up. They have to build like hydroelectric dams and all this shit, all these systems. They need permission structures to do that. That small businesses don't need. And that's I think the difference. It's basically a quid pro quo where it's like, hey, yeah, if you, if you spin up a business in the future that you need a fucking river to power, then you're going to have to go through the people of that town and say like, can I use your river for my business? And they say, no, unless you make all our electricity cheaper. So I think it's more of a negotiation and bringing the American people into that negotiation. Okay, but there are again, now I'm playing Del's advocate. There are plenty of things that get voted on like County commissioners zoning projects and everything that aren't just data centers that but other businesses like you could you vote on, whether or not you want a new civic center in your town. And there are some certain businesses that just want to add on. They have to go to the County Commissioner to get the right permits and stuff. Like do we start getting the ownership of the businesses that just need permission from the government to do something?
Like, yeah, that quid pro quo, you can do that, but you're going to give a trunk back. I just, I think it's such a slippery slope. And I'm not even against the principle of it either. And I'm not against data centers. But I think there's got to be a better way that does not involve more government. I want less government in all of this stuff. And it just sounds like when we do stuff like that, I'm all about the American people prospering, prospering and like getting more money from these people that have been ripping us off. I just don't want it to come with more rules and regulations. And such. This is why I'm also against the $9,000 check. It's like we're taking another wealth fair program. We're adding another layer to it that can be corrupted and it abused like it's just that's not at all what we're out to fight. Like I'm just I'm also trying to like think sometimes when when we're looking at what's happening right now in the Trump administration, I try to pretend it's not even Trump that's doing some of these things. I'm trying to let's pretend it was a Democrat in there. You know, the those the stupid demo. Let's say Obama was the one that was rolling out these policies. How would I feel about this if Obama was doing it too? Would it make me angry?
And I think more people should do this because I think there's so many people that just cheer everything because it's Trump. And I think we need to be more principled in how we approach this stuff. And the data center one and getting a cut of it like we've already got to cut what Intel MP materials or minerals. I think the last list I saw there's eight companies that we have ownership in. If we end up getting ownership in all these data centers. And but they remain public companies. I don't know man, it's just it's interesting. It's where we're going. It seems like that's where we're going. I'm just not 100% sure I'm in favor of it. Yeah, I don't know what the answer is. And this is why late and I'm still toward the beginning of this rabbit hole because it's hard to it's hard to parse Western propaganda as it is. It's particularly hard to parse Western propaganda from 20 years ago about a quote unquote adversarial nation. But I've been saying on my show and in my writing and a lot lately,
I'm kind of back into the righteous Russia rabbit hole for the first time in a few years. And the reason is a lot of this led me in a roundabout way to that because I'm like, man, this sounds like a lot of stuff I was researching about Putin when I was first writing that series. And I've been saying I think Trump is following a template, not setting one. And they're different. It's obviously different. We have a different system, etc. But a lot of this stuff looks an awful lot like what Vladimir Putin did in Russia and what Xi Jinping did in China 10 years after him and what Trump is doing 10 years after Xi. And I want to dig a more like pull on that thread more and see exactly what form a lot of these agreements took with the Russian government, with the Chinese government. But I think that there might be a sovereign template out there that is, I don't know if it's temporary, but going back to Ash talking about a transformation program
is there a capitalist communist transition period that the sovereign alliance has basically said, like, hey, it's fine to talk free market, but like the enemy owns the means of production. So at a certain point, we got to figure some shit out, guys. And do we blow everything up? Or do we say, hey, meta, you know how you have all the money? Rather than taking all that money and just giving it to the American people, why don't you use it to help us build the infrastructure that's going to employ all of those people? And I think something like that is going on with all these companies because all the worst, like all the worst American companies in the world are the ones that are powering the transition, which is why I understand when truthers freak out about what meta is doing with data centers and what Jeff Bezos is doing. My theory on this is that it's the Putin template and the G template and that Trump is like,
you want to play ball, you keep your company, but here's what you're working on and where you're working on it. Yeah, or they're just trying to kill everybody. But yeah, Roshnaug lives in the Chats as America has been a socialist nation since FDR. Trump is just steering into the skid. I like that take on it. Also, there was something he said, oh yeah, back when Trump said we were going to give the government back to you, the people. Maybe he just meant that a little bit more literally, like we're going to grow the government super big. It's just going to be communist and we're all going to get the benefits of it as well. So by the way, Roshark, the FDR point is actually notable to this because one of the threads I've been pulling on is FDR basically paved the way and I don't like him. I'm just saying like why don't you like FDR? I don't know, he's kind of gay. There's a lot of it was very big government stuff. Yeah, but some people matter. It loves them. North Dakota ties. Yeah, I'll admit it's not my it's not my most well researched rabbit hole. So I'll defer to other. How dare you talk shit? I never researched. Yeah, gay is my immediate setting and you know,
that's what I'm going to stick with until proven otherwise. But you got to turn your settings down from like, best and maybe down to like, I don't know who somebody that's gay, but homosexual. Oh, okay, huge difference. Is there a pill? This is yes, a pink house and then sex with dudes. You think his house is actually pink? It is. Is there a real scene? Yeah, he has a big, I don't know if he still lives in it, but he has a big pink mansion. How do you know that? It's like a famous meme. Is it? It's got to be true. I saw it on the internet. I thought we just found out like two weeks ago that he was gay. We had no idea before that. I think anyway, I want to get into the AI stuff before it gets too late because it's way way. This is related. The FDR thing FDR paved the way. You like that pun paved the way. Paved the way for the American interstate system, which is the biggest infrastructure project in American history using largely this
commie capitalist bullshit. The data center boom is being called in terms of scale the new interstate system essentially. So the comparison actually fits a little bit closer than people think. Was there a role you guys did the interstate system? I thought, yeah. Hold on. I thought it was um I thought it was. Oh, Eisenhower. I thought. But I don't think it was implemented under him. No, but the idea was to like, it was on the heels of World War II and they're like, okay, well, what if we got invaded? How do we get our troops from one area of the country to the other side? And so a lot of the interstate system has stretches where they can land planes on. That's even better actually because Eisenhower was super based and kind of the start of the continue that. So I was I was saying was Trump is Trump taking something that the bad
guys were doing but doing it in a good way now. But if it was Eisenhower, then that's even better. That's an even better template to follow. Yeah. Um okay, let's get in. We have two sponsors I have to do still. Um excited about we have a great bad landers chat going on. Keith, but I'm going to do rumble wallet first. My favorite rumble. Add read you guys all. You'll know that. Let's do that real quick and then after like 20 minutes, we'll come back and do the other one. All right, everybody. This is a paid advertisement for rumble wallet. Have you seen the video of what we're transitioning out? Let's have any closing thoughts. Just that I was right about the gay house. That's it. Wow. That is pretty gay. He sold it. Why? For the election, he didn't want to get found out, I guess. Interesting. So he was like under a cover and then he was like, do you think people will know I'm gay because of this house?
Maybe I should paint my house. People don't forget Scott. People are people didn't today. Unless you're MJ truth. I forgot. Okay. I'm going to play this video first in the reason I'm playing this is because we have the AI is going to kill us stuff. So this is the first part of the and I saw this I think before. This is like a day or two before today. I guess. When the was it today that the story came out from the anthropic guy who like left and he's like, oh yeah, they don't understand. We'll get there. Just listen to this. But well, how long would you want to live? I want to go, you know, other planetary systems. I want to go and explore the universe. Yeah. I mean, you know, I would like to double my lifespan for sure. I don't want, you know, I'm not sure I wanted to talk about immortality, but you know, at least 20, 150 is a long time. One of the worst courses possible would be that yes, maybe you live forever. Maybe you live forever. Yeah. That would be one of the worst courses you could possibly give anyone. But I think life can get very
interesting. Yeah. Far more. We're going to speedrun Star Trek is my partner Alex Wiesner Grosses. Yeah. Speedrunning Star Trek would be cool. Yeah. But then I'm your kids. They'll have infinite life expectancy if you're talking about escape velocity. If you double lifespan, it's not even close. You're clearly past longevity escape velocity. The idea of 50 years of AI improvement. Yeah. I mean, I mean, I've got 20 years. I don't know. I've got too many first of right. So I invite this something by the way that I think that I think it's very obviously other people think this too. But I've long thought that like longevity or semi- immortality is an extremely solvable problem. I don't think it's a particularly hot problem. I mean, when you consider the fact that your body is extremely synchronized in its age, the clock must be incredibly obvious. Nobody has an old left arm in a young right arm. Right. Why is that? What's keeping them all in sync? Yeah.
Your program to die is the way it would pre-programs die. And so it's how people see it. Yeah. You will live longer. Just this guy like this is what we sit down in a room. Start talking to normal people. This is how they see us. He's making some great questions here. But don't this is very important guys. Why are arms age the same rate is important because we are all going to die from AIs. Just bear with me a little longer. Okay. This is the one side of the coin. We're going to see the other side of the coin after. And we've got species of the bohid whale in the for 200 years, the Greenland shark, lipo 500 years. And when I when I learned that, I said, why can't they? Why can't we? I said, it's either a hardware problem or software problem. And we're going to have the tech to solve that. I do believe that is this next decade. So the important thing is not to die from something stupid before the before the solutions come. You know, I invited you in retrospect the long for the solution to longevity. We'll see you obvious. Yeah. Extremely obvious. I think the thing worth working on. My Peter is going to work on this anyway,
but the thing to work on is exactly what you said. If old ideas don't, calcified old ideas don't just die off. Add that to the pile of things we need to think about today because our whole host of other AI related things we need to think about today. Let me finish on the longevity point. Yeah, we'll stop it there. And then I'm going to play this clip from I think this originally came out and I want to say August of 2025. If I'm not mistaken, that's one of my favorite Elon clips. What it has to do with AI? I'm worried about well. You know, this seems like it's somewhat unnerving to have intelligence created that is far greater than our own. And well, let's be better good for humanity. It's like I think it'll be good. Most likely it'll be good. Yeah. Yeah. Someone reconciled myself to the fact that even if it wasn't going to be good,
I'd at least like to be alive to see it happen. So, you know, not a very confident answer. Again, like two years ago, this was back when Groc was just like getting getting further down. And there's this story. This is the one that everybody's freaking out about probably a sideop guys. AI could destroy human race over the next decade. Three anthropic researchers warn three of them. Jacob Cox was now a researcher with anthropocryphal, he resigned from the company on Tuesday, citing unacceptable risks that weren't being considered in the race to develop AI. He claimed that there will soon be superhuman systems that can hack anything revolutionize any field overnight and acquire real power and resources. The people building AI honestly believe that it could kill us all by the end of the decade. This is not a marketing stunt. You went on to say the fears, he said while the fears are not aired publicly, the same people were promoting AI expressed the concerns privately. He said the development of AI continues because that open AI one of the anthropics competitors may have not
internalized the civilization stakes ridiculous. There's multiple other people that that backed it up. I believe anthropics trying its best, but we do not have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to. Another guy, AI developers believe their technology could cause human extinction or similarly bad outcomes. This could happen in the next few years. I don't know what. What's on the same scale? I don't know, man. In general, the more senior employee, the more concerned they are, anyway. This is like the narrative flowing around. I'm assuming this has to do with some sort of government involvement that they're looking for. No, maybe. Maybe. They want government to regulate some of this stuff. They're using some siaops to do it. That's gut feeling. It could be wrong, though. No idea. Yeah. This is amazing because we've been talking about this on this particular show for months.
And specifically, you guys will recall, I have been repeatedly in the midst of my white pilling on AI in the golden age and being the simp, freelon musk and all that kind of stuff, which I will accept. I have been saying there are a couple of snakes in the grass when it comes to this AI narrative, this phase shift, and those are represented by Sam Altman of open AI and Dario Amade of Anthropic. Both of these companies, I forget which month it was, I think it was April, May, whatever. We're visiting Western governments, besides Congress, Canada, Australia, European governments, asking them to basically put guardrails onto their AI industries. And my theory was that they're trying to use those guardrails of other Western nations as a framework to then bring those guardrails
to Congress and say, look, look at what Australia is doing, look at what the UK is doing, look at what the EU is doing. We need to do that. Now, on the DPH, I asked the obvious question, why would the two leaders in the AI industry want to limit the AI industry? Because that's exactly what this is, by the way. Their proposed guardrails on AI is to form government committees that their executives sit on in order to examine any AI models that come in and any AI companies and contracts that come into the ecosystem to determine whether or not they pose national security threats. So two ways of looking at that. One is they're trying to stifle competition, right? They were the industry leaders, they don't want competition coming after them. If they're in bed with the government, they can stifle that
competition. Railroad, barons, oil tycoons, tails, all this time. That's not what I think is going on. What I think is going on is these guys were part of one specific reset that you might call the great reset. And there was going to be a very nightmare-ish vision of an AI future. And that that is what Elon Musk is talking about. Because Elon Musk has been going to war with these guys for a decade through law fair, through companies, through the media, through social media. And by the way, a lot of people don't know in this space that Elon Musk was the co-founder of Open AI when it was supposed to be an open source not for profit company until Sam Altman stole the company from him and made it for profit and closed source. And Elon's been calling him a snake in the grass. That's why I call them that him in Dario Amade. So Elon is not asking for government regulation. He thinks we need to move really fast and put AI in the hands of the American people in order for
them to get comfortable with it. And that governments need to get comfortable with it. Like move fast and break things. And these guys want to slow it all down. So I think that they are aware that Donald Trump and Elon Musk's agenda is warp speed acceleration down the AI future, even though that makes people uncomfortable. Because the only way that we get to the nightmare future, that is a real possibility, is if they slow it down and control it, just like they wanted to do and maybe successfully have done with the internet, with electricity, with all these other step change technologies. And this is one that they don't want that to happen with, which a few weeks ago on this show, I had said, Anthropic and Open AI were on the advisory board to the Trump administration about drafting rules and regulations for AI. And the Trump administration rubbed them so far. This is not finalized or codified yet. But according to Axios, according to all the people with
the insiders around these companies, the Trump administration is going to put guardrails on the AI industry, but only closed source models, which is what open AI and Anthropic specialize in, not open source models, which is what China specializes in, which is why I've been saying this is a sovereign alliance thing the whole time. By the way, Elon Musk very friendly with Xi Jinping and the Chinese government. So I think that there is an AI war going on. And I think a lot of MAGA has been siopped into supporting the agenda of the people that are trying to institute SkyNet while stopping the agenda of the people that are trying to get us away from that. Yeah, and keep in mind that it was Jensen Huying or whatever, the owner of Enbedia who purchased HugginFace, which is like the open source GitHub essentially. You know what I mean? So yeah, that is interesting. That's also the thing that Open AI went and hacked at one point in time like the or AI bots just happened to get in there and who knows what they did.
But yeah, there's some merit to what you're saying there. I dig it. You know, it could go either way. I just, you know, I think it's interesting to look at again, like I don't know who knows where these people's loyalty's lie. But it is interesting. Anytime I I get confronted with like what a few lawns of bad guy and everything, I don't know maybe I think all these people are characters or archetypes in some manner. I'm just looking at what is giving us free speech. It's not giving us free speech. That's true. But you know, I look at his background with some of these people. And I don't know. I just think I've said on the show going back a couple of years that I think it's uncanny. How many of Trump's codified executive orders from 2025 are all the stuff that Elon's been doing for 10 years. Like what? Well, say like autonomy, open source AI, basically just warp speed acceleration down. Oh,
Elon has this thing. Tesla has this thing called Tesla master plan, which is like actually their business plan. They've released four master plans over the last however many almost 20 years of the company. Master plan part four, I believe, came out in 2025. And I think it's called the age of abundance. But it basically lays out, this is what our goal is as a company. And the goals have evolved with each master plan. First, it was like, we want to make the world's best electric car. Then it was we want to create the first fully autonomous vehicle. Now it's we want to create an age of abundance. That's what Elon claims. Well, Trump's talking about the age of abundance and the golden age and all this kind of stuff. And it's like, you know, I don't know if these things are possible, but I do know that the government, besides Trump, keeps trying to stop Elon Musk agendas while putting the keys in the hands of Sam Altman and Dario Amadeh, who are basically his sworn
enemies. And yeah, I just think that's notable. Jensen Wangs, a good one to bring up because he's one that I wasn't sure about it. I'm still not sure about him. But it is interesting that he is Elon's biggest supplier. And he's basically everybody's biggest supplier of chips. But in terms of the narrative, Jensen is highly bullish around Elon and all of his projects. And, you know, right now in the marketplace Nvidia is extremely powerful from a technology and capital perspective. And Jensen based Jensen recently, like a month ago, said in one of his sit down things, if I had unlimited resources, I would pile all of it into Elon Musk's projects. And he also funds, you know, these other guys too. So it's just interesting to see where this goes. But I think that the fact that on September 9th, you could have counted dozens and dozens and dozens of AI is
going to kill us all doom porn on all of the mainstream media all at once. And it's kind of funny because Donald Trump is out there telling you to stop being a pussy about data centers. And Elon Musk is telling you about the age of abundance. By the way, self driving cybercabs are just like rolling around Austin and nobody's talking about it. But they're just rolling those things out. The media. Yeah, actually, I applied to purchase the cyber tax here at ever and like roll it out here in Bismarck and obviously haven't gotten back yet. But it becomes cyber taxi parents. I know that's what I'm saying. So I can see if they ever get back to me or not. But we do have an update on the $5,000 for every adult citizen story that I would like to share with everybody. And it is JD Vance having to defend it, which is always a good time. People want to do that. Port of dude just fine. So Mr. Vice President, I heard the Trump dividend raised my brows $5,000 for every adult citizen if the house wins. Wait, erase my eyebrows.
I mean, both hands went up at the same time. You know, you know, the American middle class. But if your Republicans win the house $5,000 for every adult citizen, so you do the quick math that's about $1.3 trillion. I can hear the critics head exploded. They're saying, I'll allow that. I guarantee you, President isribing voters to vote for Republicans to take over the house. And then he's bankrupting the country because the deficit debt is huge. And inflation would come back if this comes into place. So how do you answer those criticism? Well, I say first of all, what the President is talking about is fundamentally a dividend for American workers. We're taking in an extraordinary amount of revenue because the President of the United States is actually standing up to both foreign companies, but also foreign countries who've been taking advantage of America's workers for pretty much my entire life. All of these tariffs, what is a tariff threat? A tariff is when the President of the United States says, if you want to undercut the wages of American workers, if you want to ship American jobs overseas, you're going to pay a big
fat penalty when you try to bring that stuff back into the United States of America. Those penalties have generated a lot of revenues. They've helped us pay down debt. What the President is just saying is if you keep it going to the American people, if you keep us in power and allow us to continue to do these things, then you're going to share in some of the benefit of this incredible wealth that we're creating in the United States of America. I don't think it's a controversial idea. It's actually the President of the United States saying we're all working together. We're all on the same team. And if we continue to create wealth, that wealth is going to go back to the American people. I think it comes down to, and maybe to... I mean, it can't be from tariff money, because the $5,000 is like they said, it's like $1.3 trillion. We made $150 billion in tariffs last year. And I think this year, we're probably on pace to do better. Maybe it's 150 so far this year and last year's like 190 billion. I don't know. Do you see the math? You can probably look it up. On that divided by the number of Americans. Well, it's the number of adult Americans.
150 billion. How many adult Americans are there? See what the machine says. 270 million Americans are adults. Okay, so let's do 270. That's $500 per person. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. 270 million times $5,000 is $1.35 trillion. Yeah, got a bump those tariffs up is what you're saying. It's substantially. So where else is the money coming from? I mean, we could just print it. That's what we do for everything else. Yeah, we're probably going to. Could just air drop some Trump meme coins. Like the 100 Biden laptop coin. Do you see that today? He comes out as long as how he's launching a laptop coin. And then it comes up. He's such a good arc. It's so bad. And it's so funny because when he was out there talking about the the Trump coin before he launched his coin, he was like railing about how, you know,
so many people just lost money. All these things. It's literally down like a billion dollars. Anybody who had money and it initially had lost their just their ass on it. So far. Yeah, I think both things can be true here. JD Vance does not know what Trump is doing at any given time. And it's like it, man, you really can't on see it. The more you watch him try to respond about Trump's agenda because you can tell when somebody in Trump's orbit does know the agenda and is earnestly defending it. You know, like Steve Bannon, people like that. But yeah, he he sort of like talks around it. But in keeping with our last segment there on the age of abundance, there is one thing that both Donald Trump and Scott Besson keep saying all year with regards to the economy. They keep saying we can grow our way out of it. And it sounds ridiculous. And economists are sure to tell us it's ridiculous
over and over again. But that's what I keep hanging my hat on when it comes to any of this stuff. And I agree with you. It's not tariffs. By the way, I think it was a few days ago that Trump put a post out saying like I hate tariffs in the middle of a defense of tariffs. But I think that's a signal of maybe somebody can find that in the chat. But he was justifying tariffs and what he's doing. But he was like, I hate tariffs. I wish there were no tariffs. And we've actually speculated that that like he's using these as a weapon to rebalance things but doesn't ultimately want tariffs because it's not free trade. And I think people are too dismissive of the age of abundance thing and the grow our way out of it thing. Because if we do get these rocket boosters put on the American economy and you get people like Trump and Besson routinely talking about 20% GDP instead of 3% then what kind of revenues are we looking at with all these companies and projects. And you know, the bottom line is I think that if it's not new money being created
if it's coming from economic activity then they're saying that if you put that money on Main Street it's better for the economy than putting it on Wall Street which I would agree with it all just depends on where is it actually coming from. Yeah. Clearly it's not coming from tariffs. Yeah, I don't know. I don't think it's going to happen regardless but we'll see and it'll be fun to talk about it over the next couple months for the midterms. It's hard not to look at it as a bribe. And that's everything is so funny because everything lose their mind over it. The left is even lose it. I'm just tomorrow is going to be fun watching like Joe Scarborough like his monologue. Can we just see the clip of that on Twitter. Oh my God. Did you see him? Is it is it Joe Scarborough? No, no. Who am I thinking of? Who's Joe Scarborough? You don't know who Joe Scarborough is. I think I have a blanking. You see this? Yeah, we see that. I've said it for years now. He's cogent but I understand this sold him when I said he was cogent.
He's far beyond cogent. In fact, I think he's better than he's ever been. Talking about Biden, by the way. It was that stroke. Yeah, that's really straightened about. I was thinking of I forget the guy's name. Joe something on CNBC who's like the financial guy. He roasted the Canadian. He was like the interior Canadian finance minister or something. And this is like a normie. He seems kind of based but he doesn't get into politics. Joe Kernan? Yeah, I think so. But he was roasting him being like you know, your 38th out of 38 Western countries in terms of GDP per capita. How do you expect any of this to go? And the Canadian government official was like, well, I don't understand your point. We still felt it was important to battle Donald Trump on the economic agenda. I think you're talking about this clip probably.
And it's a shocking to me. GDP growth in Canada over the last 10 years. You're dead last basically with OECD countries. You're at 0.5%. The United States is 20.7%. I think we can look at this. I mean, deadlet and it's not just the last 10 years. The OECD is it's not going to get any better. It's going to get much worse between 2020 and 2030. Your dead last projected to be out of the OECD's 38 members tied with Italy at 46% below the OECD average. And then the next 30 years after that. Is this right clip, by the way? Yes. Well, again, what went wrong? I mean, you know, the inner workings of Canada, is it regulation? Is it permitting? Is it high taxes? Is it the Canadian people deserve to have a better standard of living? It shouldn't be going down over a 10-year period. Because what Joe says right there, the Canadian public deserves a better standard of living.
Oh, this is he didn't have the guy responding. Oh, well, the guy basically just did politics speak around it. So it's not even that notable. But yeah, that that that's just an example of of what Trump is doing up there that dialectic he's kind of enforcing. But, you know, I think actually Trump had an awesome post the other day about Canada where he was basically like, yeah, it's great for them right now to make me the villain, but it's not going to be great when the Canadian people start to wake up, which is exactly what I've been saying for two years. Yeah, you think they'd be awake right now. I do have the part where she responds here. We all listen to the whole thing. I just want to hear what she says to that. The workings of of Canada is it, you know, is it regulation? Is it permitting? Is it high taxes? Is it the Canadian people deserve to have a better standard of living? It shouldn't be going down over a 10-year period. Joe, I just before answering that question, which I want to do, I just want to pick up on something you said about China because I want to be very clear of my own view. I am a China hawk. Okay, that's that's all I need to see. I love China.
Let me answer something else. Yeah, to answer your question about why Canada is the worst China is the worst. I'm a China hawk. Oh, funny. All right, it is 11th. I mean, I just exhausted. PNW Ghost actually sing that song. Gary, he kind of looks like he did. I don't think it was that song exactly. Was it? But he was doing that. It wasn't that song but that's a real clip. That's a real clip. Yeah. Because I know that that's real, I never thought that, oh yeah, people might think that's AI but we have been doing a lot of AI videos. No, for anybody who doesn't know that is all 100% real footage of Ghost Invegas last year. So, so fun. And then PNW, that's also my hope to get back down here for the Sarah Sutter Guard. It's same Pete and those tickets are going to be going on sale here very soon as well. Keith O'Higgins funny how John can't even say in jibba because it's too close to the end. Nobody can say in jibba though. No, except for like jabian cam. Keith O'Higgins happy birthday. Colonel Sanders, Hubert Hoover, I think I was his name on his campaign promised a chicken in every pot.
Trump should court the black vote with fried chicken and some pots. Herbert Hoover, right? No, he was the FBI. I don't know. I don't care right now. Who cares? Simple. Oh, man. How how often how long they've been demeaning us? Yeah. If you vote for me in this fake election, I'll put a chicken off somebody, run a chicken right over there for you and your eight kids. What was it during wasn't the COVID there are like a $2,500 COVID relief check that had something to do with elections too. That Trump was against for a while and then he ended up signing state of supermajority or something. I'll have to go back and read that. That's voting incentives. I don't remember. I don't know. I'm just go back and look. That's so long ago. That's like 20 years ago now. It feels like. Simulten says the $5,000 is a dividend. One of many from our sovereign wealth fund. I don't think we actually have a sovereign wealth fund. Yeah. Do we? I think we've talked about because the GOP blocked it. That's a little executive order. Donald Trump signed an executive order for everybody. It's about to vote super hard next month or
two months, guys. Donald Trump signed an executive order in 2025. It won his first. It might have even been his first, but it was among his first. Among the first 100. There were 100 of them on the first day. You remember when he was the first day when he sat down and he was literally just like for two hours to sign and talking with the press and signing documents like here's all the shit the GOP is going to block. So yeah, guys, he signed a sovereign wealth fund into existence and the GOP has blocked it. Congress has blocked it from being implemented, which is one of my pet theories is that a lot of what we're seeing arranged to be unprecedented deals with private companies is Trump gathering up into FACTO building his sovereign wealth fund before it is recognized by Congress. Sure. And Congress will never do that. So which is why that must be disbanded. Yeah, that must be something else. Rob Glenn says I think Kyler Merle is a little short on talent and don't you dare speak about my quarterback that way. He's going to lead us to the problem.
Counterinsurgeon says really enjoying Keat good sponsor, which reminds me let's talk a little bit about Keat right now because you guys should join our new Badlander chat group. This goes through YouTube bringing bright. Some kind of are not meant for an audience advertiser or technology company. They are meant for exactly two people. Yes, and make sure you send me a message and I will add you in there as soon as I can. Keith O'Higgins says BB has exposed himself as a humilian ritual expert tonight. Time to change his monitor from BB TLDR to Burning Bright BDSM to help your neck BB maybe be like Brady and deflate the ball gag. I think I'm just having a stroke for a couple of weeks. I don't know what's going on but yeah that's okay. It's okay. It's okay. It helps. Maybe I'm dying. Just hope you just got to hold out long enough for AI to invent. That's it. Immortality. That's it. That's the goal right now for all of us. Final man had a six hour conversation with my co-workers who are 25 or under about AI today.
Their consensus was that's a long conversation for anybody. Especially people are 25. That's not. Where do you? Were they still there? I'm curious where you work, Final Man. That's interesting. Anyway, their consensus was AI is good unless the user for bad. First time they had a real conversation around me weird. You can say about every day. AI stuff is going to look in my opinion. This this era of AI freakouts is going to look very silly in very short order. And I'm not just saying because the golden age I'm saying because it's going to look like electricity or the interneting of people like I saw this put a really good way on one of these millions of podcasts. I listen to the guy basically said, I think it was Anthony Pompligato. He said in 10 years, there's when they talk about companies, they're not going to talk about AI companies.
They're going to talk about companies because every company is going to be using AI. Every company is going to be using AI. Just like right now in 2026, do they talk about internet companies, guys, or do they just talk about companies? Well, in 1999, they talked about internet companies. That's what the bubble was. There was a new internet company coming out. And now, if your company doesn't have anything to do with the internet, it's just it's it's it's the exception, not the rule. So that's what AI is going to be. Yeah, Ash says that BB and Brian need to have a this discussion at Gart loser gets Hillary. Not even sure I know what that means. That's successfully AI, water, border dash, I think, and on behalf of the board. Oh, man, you should listen to my what you guys all should do. And I'm being serious. Ash can vouch for this in the chat. I'm not just trying to shameless plug myself, but go watch my show on Monday. Was it Monday? I was Monday with Matt
McDonough, the whole episode, like I was going to have mom for like 10 minutes to talk about AI becoming age AI and we ended up talking for the full show pretty much. And it was a really good episode. His perspective is pretty solid. So I encourage you guys to go check that out. But first listen to this. That 56 past I wasn't prepared to translate that as host doing that little tease. That little mark with the A and then the ring around it at see that's what I said. Um, case that she thought it was about. Yeah. Oh, but I've never heard it around. I've never heard it said. I don't see the mark, but never heard it said. And then it sounded stupid. What I said, it violence at NBC. I heard around the lunchroom. There it is violence at NBC GE. Come. I mean, what Alison should know. What is internet is that massive computer network? The one that's becoming really big now. What do you mean? How does one know what do you write to it like male? So a lot of people use it and communicate. I guess they can communicate with NBC writers and
producers. Alison, can you explain what internet is? No, she can't say anything in 10 seconds or less. Alison will be in the studio. What does it mean? It's a giant computer network made up, made up of a star from. I thought you were going to tell us what this was. It's like a lot of good. It's not a computer billboard, but it's a lot of different universities and everything all joined together. Right. And others can access it. Right. It's getting bigger and bigger. He's really handy during the quake. A lot of people, that's how they were communicating out to tell family and loved ones. They were okay because all the phone lines were down. I was telling Katie it over. You don't need that. You don't need a phone line to operate. No, no. So the way they're talking about the internet back in 1995 is how we're talking about AI net like we're talking about AI now and looking back. Yes. We're going to sound this retarded. But it's going to go way faster. That's the one difference that I will give people, which I think is good, but is understandable. The AI is going to follow is following an exponential growth curve. And human minds literally,
this isn't like some people are smarter than others, the human mind is not capable of actually grasping exponentiality. We can draw charts to look at it with the benefit of hindsight, but we can't actually anticipate what that will feel like. We can use AI to create those charts too. That's true. But you know, like six months ago, GROC was running 4.3 or whatever it was. And they were in seventh place of AI chatbot models behind open AI and anthropic. And about a month ago, they released GROC bot, which is now just like taking over everything. Yeah, I love it. I haven't used it yet. I have a mess around with it, but it's just, you know, this is how it's going to be. This is exponential growth curves. I haven't invested that like I need to take a full day and just just I turn everything else off. I guess it can't turn off, but I've got to do it on a weekend
on my kids because if I dedicate a time, like I get that thing running, I can see like the like man mind for it. This is pretty cool. I already have a few things like working pretty good, but I could I think I can build something pretty cool if I if I had the time to dedicate to it. But all right, man, I'm excited to go to bed. I got my kids up early and off to school tomorrow morning. So thank you everybody for tuning in. Hit that thumbs up both here and on YouTube. Don't forget about the YouTube guys. I know sometimes we do that and it's on the internet. It's on the internet. Make sure you got what's your movie this week, by the way? Oh, it's a good one. Well, the movie's maybe not, but the siege 1998, Denzel Washington, Bruce Willis, some other people. It christened text to me right before I watched it and said like, oh my god, the predictive programming in this. So it's about a series of terrorist attacks in New York City that the FBI is trying to solve and then the CIA comes in to help them try to solve these attacks and then the
military comes in and the CIA and the FBI are working against the military. And this was 1998. The terror porn of it was basically every narrative that was then deployed in the aftermath of 9-11. Like it is, we've done 180 something movies on story hour. It is probably the most predictive programming that we have ever seen in a movie and it is super on the nose. They like tell you, hey, our current laws are not equipped to deal with this kind of terrorism. We need to give intelligence free reign to respond to this and they demonize the military in advance while lionizing the intelligence community. So it is wild to watch and a little bit dark. Well, I'm excited to see that. So the siege, yeah. I'll be back on tomorrow, 1 PM Eastern on the daily Harold. Make sure you guys tune into that as well. And with that, we're going to get out of here
with a video that was sent in by Patriot 17 on the Badlands Boost website. Thank you very much. I'm sure this can be awesome. So get you all later, hit the thumbs up and we'll see you next time. Give women the vote and the whole country will be damned. Nonsense, you just want to keep us down. Well, how about two of you get into my machine and tell me what you see? And the patriarchy! And the patriarchy! Let's go, Lindsay! My farts are now 50% off. Get them now losers! Okay, we've seen enough. And? Get back to the kitchen, bitch!
