It's time for Dave's cash showdown. Time for you to throw down. Winning in a minute and sit ten. Dave comes in and answers in again. If your score is inferior, the day will reign superior. It's time to play around. Everybody sing now. Dave's cash showdown. We're all singing along to the song. Let's play the showdown. It's going to be one of all-time great listeners. Listener number seven, I believe. D&D Steve. Are you there? Yes, this is D&D Steve. D&D Steve. There he is. Okay. Nice to have you with us. I'm going to go in the yelling. If you guys got my walk-up song going yet. He hasn't been on since, you know, Halloween, but boy, he makes a lot of demands just right out of the boom. But I actually do. I have played once. I also played close to my birthday. I wanted to play on my birthday, but we left another caller who was her birthday with a her play. I played later

the week and not only did I beat you on Halloween, I also beat you on my birthday week. So Dave, you are Owen. Knock knock. Who's there? Owen. Mm-hmm. Owen. Dave is Owen too against being the last few times we played. You know what, Steve? I'm so excited because it turns out we do have your walk-up music. Oh, well, it's dry. It's not. There's no music to it. Oh, are you ready? Do you want to hear it? Yeah, let's hear it. Yes, ladies and gentlemen from his mother's basement. He's a pro. He's running campaigns. He's got attitude. It's D&D Steve. That was pretty good, man. Thank you. Totally unpromptu. Well, that's okay. Now we got, now we got a game. Oh, yeah, we're on Steve. And Quizzard, I still have your t-shirt in the back of my truck. I do plan on bringing it down someday. Okay. I might bring it down by the time the next time the bill is actually win a

Super Bowl. So we'll talk to you in about 20 years, Steve. Man, if they do win a Super Bowl, it will be their first. It sure will be. Yeah. Listen, I, this is, it's a hard-ass three day. I'm sorry. I had a little bit of an attitude when I was preparing this thing because I had, I was gearing up for a root canal. You were under the influence. I didn't know it, but I was pissed and everything was hurting. But I do have at least one money question. Oh, and to celebrate. And you had a winning night at the casino last night. So here's here comes a big money. Here we go. I'm going to do a $20 at number three. Oh, 20 bucks. That is fantastic. How many campaigns can you run on that, Steve? All of them. 20 bucks at number three. Yep. Okay. All right. I'm going to leave the studio. Molly takes over. Good luck. D&D, Steve. Hey, D&D, Steve. Sorry. I had a time that this is going to be a little tougher, but I,

I realize now it's like it was also I'm not calling from my mother's basement. I'm calling from her car and I'm in the parking lot of Fred Meyer right now. Okay. Well, Dave's going to have the same pain that you are. So it was a rough day. Not going to sugarcoat it for you, Dave. No sugarcoat. You're not going to get every question. That's what my coach would say. Not going to make every shot. Damn it, Dave. We're not going to make ever shot. So don't fart and mar. He never said that part. But that's what you were doing later. Okay. So he did not get the money question and it was

difficult. It was difficult. I didn't realize how difficult it was. Apparently, the root can now make a girl angry. It makes a girl just think about hard questions. Was there another one that I think that you got? Oh yeah. Oh yeah. I'm trying to think I think you got. I have I think Dave wins nine to zero. What? You're doing the right sub-election. I couldn't have Steve. My, how the mighty have fallen. Ouchy, wawa, stings. Now I feel bad for getting though. Well, but I mean looms. How do you know looms? I remember the story of the, it's a yarn thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like how they make yarn. And then the messo, bobeo, whatever.

And that was as a, as are by Jan, Isarbejan. I don't even know how to pronounce it. Yeah, by John. Yes. Um, final gravity. Nice with the beer. I didn't expect that from you. The fluff. Mess, Marshmallow. Marshmallow. I thought Quinn might know that one. Once you said it again, once I reheard it, I was like, oh, I know that one. Okay. Did you see fluff or none of your sandwiches? Guadalupe Mountains in Texas. Bones for orthopedic. He said feet, but I could not allow it. That is a podiatrist. Uh, Ray Lio de Escheva's ravine. How the hell do you get that? Uh, he said that part of the country, which I don't know. And then Andy Murray, how do you pull that out of your A? Well, that was pulled out of my, yeah. That was 2012 and 16.

That was an Olympic thing. Yeah. Would you have gotten that one? Nope. I would have guessed. I could see you just based off name. So, jeez, Steve, wow, uh, I got beat today. Yes. That's constant. I mean, if it would have been like three to nothing. Right. They would be like, well, I heard our nine to six or something. Oh, the text line is a blaze. This is not good for you, Steve. I know. I should go from my basement more often and not the car. I'll never do that again. Um, uh, Aaron says, uh, Steve made Alicia proud. Uh, people did know, oh, they're saying it's only eight to nothing. What, what else did you do wrong? Did I miss another one? Did you get marshmallow? Yeah, I got marshmallow. You got me. You got looms, bees, final gravity. You said that, right? Marshmallow, Texas bones, Raleota, Shabbos, and you got, yeah, that's it.

That's, you got all of them but one. Trevor on the text line, Steve got boat raced. All right. That's awesome. You know the rules of April Fools, right? Steve, we got you April Fools. Woo. Dave, do you want to answer it? But I believe that our acting was on, uh, totally on point. Agreed. I wanted more text to come in. We had, we knew of all of our listeners. You would appreciate a good prank. Hey, he's, uh, I, myself, I bought it to hookline and sinker. And I think everybody else, I think that was some great acting. You almost cracked, you almost cracked. I was, I know, I was terrible and and I feel like we shouldn't let Quinn in on it because I did tell Quinn.

I know we shouldn't have let him in on it because then I would have, I don't, because then I was looking at Quinn and I was like, we're both like looking around. But I was, I'm not good at stuff like that. Do people on YouTube were they, uh, good at stuff? That's why I kept myself off screen because I am not good at keeping secrets. So I thought it would have given it a way at some point with a face. So I was off screen for that whole thing. But did they, did they see me smirking? Because I was smirking. I was, I could, some people knew they say, they called, they call cahoots. My model, we worry mad with all three of you before let you know, your mom on her bad. You guys are not getting cookie. Here's what we'll say. We owe you, you can play, uh, whenever you want, again, and we'll be legit. I swear to, we have never, ever done anything like that. We did this maybe 15, 20 years ago, uh, in the old, uh, and on an April fool's day. That's the only time we've ever messed with the integrity of the game. And you have purposely lost to veterans on veterans day, but that other than that, or on a birthday, but we've never,

and the only other thing we did is we had this, uh, decades game. And people, we still used to joke about Ken being so much older than us. So we planted it that we would do the 20s decade and that he would know, every ridiculous question that we asked from the 19, 20s. Well, that was the Model T, of course. And, you know, just things. But anyway, so you still get your Dutch love. And, and of course, uh, Numerica is proud to sponsor our Tom Fouley. And the next time I want to play, we'll be, I'd like to play on Halloween, but that means you guys have to play on Saturday. You guys were up playing on a Saturday? No, not even for you, Steve. All right, then can we do the 30th of October then? Uh, and then maybe, oh, maybe on the 30th or, uh, or maybe for Molly's birthday. We owe you one. We owe you one and, and, and you know what? Just to make sure there's no Tom Fouley, it'll be you just tell us last minute, say, this is the day I want in today. And that way I will have already prepared the, everything I have never, ever.

Well, I just want to make sure I'm pinned in for, I mean, not pencil. I want to be pinned in for the day before Halloween. Okay. All right. All right. Thank you, Steve. I'm on the random day that I'm available to play. Okay. So, um, I'm off again today because of all my dental appointments. So, okay. Well, we owe you one. Thank you for being a good sport. We knew you would be. All right. Don't go on me. I love you. And everybody got everybody, uh, we, we pulled a few people on the text line. Are on the, uh, YouTube line, text line. All right, uh, we'll take a break. When we return, the great Sam Adams will be here. And he has a, an April fool story. Yeah. How he tricked his mom from way back in the day. Which, uh, I don't think we know about. This is terrible. Yeah, we're going to hear all about it. Okay. Uh, thanks for being with us, everyone.
