Nice. Yeah. Well, sometimes seeing just half of me is probably the best option. I tried to get only half of me in the shot, but it's doesn't work. I try to sneak out and then he keeps.

1:00And then it gets weird. Yeah. It's weird. The camera follows her around. How are you? Happy Labor Day weekend. Hey, thanks. Yeah, three day weekend. I have Monday off for you guys off on Monday. Yeah. Nice. Yeah. We almost took today off. But then we said to ourselves, Dave, Molly, we missed Kate last week. Right. If we go, if we take Friday off, then we won't see her. Yes. So then we decided to work. So you are the reason we are here today. Yes. So we are here today. Yeah. Yeah. You are going to say that to the next person that's on our new. Oh. Well, you know, I'll take what I can get. What's happening? Yeah. There's stuff going on this weekend. Busy time. Yeah. I know. Benton Boone. This is a rescheduled concert. Right. Who is supposed to be here the weekend of the fires in August and post-poned. So he has rescheduled his concert to September 6th. So that's at the Veterans Arena. That's a pretty quick turnaround for a reschedule. A lot of times you go a year out. I know. Just because they're so busy.

2:00They're on their tour. Yeah. I like to think that it's because he's a Washington native. Yeah. And he just wants to, you know, basically come back home. Monroe Washington. Yes. Monroe High School graduate. So you might as well be a home of the. I have no idea. No, the Monroe Moose. Is that what it is? The home of Benton Boone. Yeah. The bones. Yes. I'm going to go to the next year. If you had tickets to that original concert, they will be honored, obviously. And then I looked and there are still tickets available. Oh, limited inventory, but there are still some tickets. So if you want to catch him, now's your chance. Yeah. Okay. Yes. So that's what I mean. And you get to sleep in on muddy. Generally speaking. Seriously. Like just go. Most people do. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Stay up all night. It's a beautiful thing. Okay. So it's their annual ride of passives. Oh, yes. Kick off their season. The Labor Day in the park. Concerts. Comstock. Comstock on Labor Day, the seventh.

3:02And then they do a concert in Liberty Lake. At Pavilion. Oh, when is that one? That is on Saturday, the fifth. Oh. So you've got two options. Okay. Yeah. We've gone the last couple of years to the Labor Day in Comstock. Yeah. But that I think concerned about the weather. Yeah. This year. You can go to Liberty Lake. About there. Yeah, Dave. Hang out. Got Liberty Lake. Good to have options. Good. See how it goes. You're going to Earth, wind and fire, right? Yes. But the. But the. The. Comstock. That's. Actually, that's no. It's Monday. 4:02Perfect. Yeah, well, hopefully it's not raining. But it rains about the only thing because the. The couple years ago, it was really hot, but that still can work. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, everything's fine. And that is a really cool thing. I did. I went for the first time a few years ago, and I thought, well, this is. I actually am good with this. It's super cool. Yeah, you know bring your picnic blanket parking at a premium though. Yeah, the pro move is to get dropped off and then yeah Because it you know you're parking and just basically the neighborhood. Yeah, it does get a little tricky But then you know, I love that some of the houses around there. They have parties. Yes, and they're all out there and you know I'm not gonna suggest Bring a bottle of wine, but you could smuggle about oh we smuggle. Yeah It is illegal. All right. Have a smuggler. Yeah, but you just put it in You're put it in a thing, you know, uh, yeah, that's how we did your Dutch bros Yes You don't know Water it could be coffee it could be tequila and some of the people are so nice

5:02They'll have a little table set out and it's like a free for all like they'll just say hey We've got all these little snacks and we're here, but if you walk by and you want something you just take it Very nice I love Spokane. Do you go to that? Yes, not every year, but I try to go But I live up there by Comstock, so it's easy for me to wander over Can you just walk over there? I could but I usually don't So you'll run 85 miles in a day but Wandering over a few blocks it's too much. Well, it's more than a few blocks. It's you know, probably a mile and a half but Yeah, and it usually ends it starts to get dark at one end Yeah, and then there's the you know the alcohol component. Yeah, oh Sure, I'm just kidding Do you live near the scoop at all or is that no I used to okay for 13 years

6:03We owned a little bungalow over on 23rd Avenue just a couple of blocks away from 25th for the scoop is I had never been to the scoop and his daughter had her birthday party their Monday night She's friends with the owner so shut down, but we got to have ice cream. Oh my god Jennifer. Yeah, she's It's very good. I'm so cute to it's just right in that neighborhood. I know and we used to walk there quite a bit And Jennifer's funny because she remembers you know me coming in with my daughter Oh, I'm sure yeah, and she used to have a TV screen that she would take pictures of people from the neighborhood and all Kindle was in the oh Managerie a photos and now they have hidden bagel too. Yeah, just right in there. Yes. Yes, so good. It's something. Yeah, it's a cool spot But Spokyans got all of those fun little coffee shops and nooks and crannies all over the place the rocket market is cool Rockwood bakery You've got all those neat little spots like that. So yeah pretty cool

7:06Mm-hmm. Yeah, so there's that I'm not gonna walk to the the concert fine Don't I'm not don't you don't have to But I will be running on Saturday at some point. Oh You're going to run yeah, right very far on purpose. How far will you run on Saturday? I have no idea I'm kind of on my own so I'm running buddies are you in their own thing? Yeah That's a big deal Streamers on the handles. Yes, that was the first part of your freedom. Yes. Oh, right. Yeah, I'm just going to Bike over to a friend's house. Yeah, I had a big wheel We as I remember this. Yeah, we just rollerskates as our mode of transportation a lot too But you had to have pom-poms those though you tied them through Yeah, and then on Fridays at our school was dance day and they were clear We all ate outside in the cafeteria So they clear all the tables and they play music and we could roller skate after school Do you bring your skates with you to school? Yeah, it was a big deal of roller skating with a huge deal And that's how it got places, but then the thing was you get somewhere and

10:10You have to have shoes with you and then you have to put your roller skate somewhere Yeah Anundrums, man And then your brother would throw you in the pool with your roller skate. That's right good memory One of my favorite stories. I mean, I was very sad for her and you know, but that's very funny Just picturing somebody trying to get out When he was on the show with me that came up and I said what was your play at like what were you thinking and because I really didn't It was so sort of a last minute thing. He said I didn't really think about He said I did save you I Yes, you did you pulled me out what a hero and they're aside from all that the Roller skates got you know, they're soaked. That's gonna take you took a while to try those out And then the smell probably isn't very good And then the ball bearings they rest, you know Did you have the roller skates that were

11:11White and blue I had white and blue roller skates Like the kind you get the wheels or and the The shoe my shoe is white But then you would go and you'd get that you had the trucks You know, it was like you get the truck then you get the different we had graphite wheels All different things then you go by your set of wheels and then you'd buy your pom-poms and your laces And I'd sparkly blue laces blue pom-poms and then blue wheels and right on the right on the tag Where about the price tag not for use in pool. Yes, even says right on the Virgin water. Yeah, don't wear in the bath So neither not good for swimming I love this I have a picture of me before we moved up to Alaska in San Diego in our neighborhood Roller skating so yes I'm trying to I'm gonna pull it up so you can see my roller skates and we compare what you had you know I have a picture. I think Stacy sent it to me and it's me I was in the newspaper and LA times wow

12:12Yeah, they were doing a story on a park or something and they happened to have a picture of me to profile of me roller skating and I don't know if you can see my shoe. I think you maybe can but it's just a profile and it says Molly Friedly skates through whatever to park and I Don't it was random as a random story and I think they came up. How do you like the park? 15:20Yeah kind of cool Interactive it to watch the art happen But yeah, make a make a whole point of coming down and wandering around and seeing what's new in the art world We also have terrain coming up in October. It's always the first weekend in October So it's never too early to start planning for terrain This is a jureed archo multiple places, right? First Friday's multiple places terrain is one place. Oh This is the big art show and people line up. It's become so big You know, there's a line around the block of people waiting to get in There's a private event that you pay to get into Thursday night and then Friday night so open to the public But really cool show and it's got everything that you can think of performing arts You know actile stuff film Music anything you can think of in the art world is on display at this and it's always in that Old empty building on Riverside there across from the high newner kind of in that area. Oh

16:22Yeah, yeah, so they take over this old building and turn it into a huge art gallery. It's really cool Yeah, but terrain is an art collective that's done so much for the community There are whole goal has been to keep artists Everybody that I met from that group is they're cool people Interesting people and very spoken supportive, you know, they want to keep artists here And so let's go support everybody this weekend and also in terrain first weekend in October Um, we also have the Spokane County Fair coming up next weekend. Oh more on that coming up We got we're we're part of the fair this year. We are Are you gonna be broadcasting live from there? We are doing some Facebook hits and then we'll Will be promoting the fair multiple guests including the pig Okay, there's a sensory pig that's there. That's a special piggy that is for the sensory day for kids who are like have sensory issues But they're bringing the piggy in I tell you they're bringing the piggy in you said we would need to plan for the pig yeah

Right because it wasn't Vikings last year right well two years ago was a Viking And then it's the Lions and now it's a giant but before that I really didn't have a team I don't really think about maybe the Seahawks, but I didn't have a team I was reading for not until the Vikings Okay, and there a lot of Vikings fans and the there was one year way before the chiefs were good You picked the chiefs I randomly picked the chiefs and you said I don't know about this year, but there's the they're building and you said there's something to that I randomly picked them and then there was another time you know what I would like to do is get behind the quilts one year

22:32Sitting at baseball games and having a hot dog and a beer and no judgment So it's what you're supposed to do. Yeah, or the pump cheese nachos and a beer Well, that's where I draw the line. I'm no dummy This is not cheap We had and I got found $10 in my Dog and fat Ken went down. He wanted to get another beer He went down and redeemed my $10 thing and then bought himself a beer That's a pro move. Yeah, put that money to work right away. That's right. It's dollars in your dog night So uh, yeah It was super fun, but I can only drink half the beer Because it gets warm and also it gets too filling and they have the giant ones But but it's like the perfect amount it goes with the hot dogs so delicious. I don't know you might want to look at the you want well look at some running backs or wide receivers instead of a instead of a quarterback Some would suggest that But it's your team Running your own team you get to make all the decisions. That's right. It could be like magic It could be you could pick the perfect guy. Yeah, Quinn has has hosted and or played in 50 let's say 50 fantasy football. Yeah, I think that's a very fair. Yeah, no He has never won once what and he is an expert And he said it's somebody who's like I don't even know And they win There's a lot there is luck involved

It's like yes, there will be lucky situation But overall if you are stay the course it is surprising that he's never won a league That is a little surprising and he's got the bills as his team.
