The best of the Dave and Molly show is brought to you by Jewelry Design Center. We want to be your jeweler for life. Live from the New America studio and brought to you by Northern Quest Resort in Casino. It's the Dave and Molly show. Yeah, we got a whole new look. If you're just listening to us on the app, you're going to hear everything the same. But if you're seeing us on YouTube, we're coming up on our one-week anniversary. Right. And we have a new setup in here. Yeah. And I'm looking, I'm looking here and looking there and seeing what it all looks like. It's very exciting. It's very different. And like you can see the Dave and Molly sign. Yeah. You can see in America. And we can see each other. And what's my relationship to Bob? He's your uncle. Very good. Excellent.
Okay. Now now we're all good. Everything is good. And look at this everybody. Quinn is back. Quinn's back. Look at him. Oh my god. I don't know if you can see him or not. Can you see? Can you see you over there? Myself up into the little corner. So I'm sitting up in the corner. Oh, that's awesome. Just a little head. Just a little head. Quinn's back. Good morning. Good to be back, guys. It's great to have you here. Oh my goodness. You have no idea how great it is. We love you. I love you guys. Everybody loves you. Yeah. So did you see and listen to the viewers again? Yes. Great. We're getting used to our new setup. But it's going to be fine. Yes. We're learning and growing. And when we were co we were co anchoring the news. And here's a good co anchor for you. A Clyde chalk. Notice that we were coming in late and hot. Yep. And she like a mom to two children who don't know how to behave. She had our mics ready for us. And she was calmly sitting on the set waiting for us to co anchor. That's very nice. That's very good. That's very good. That's very good.
That's very good. That's very good. That's very good. That's very good. That's very good. That's very nice. That's very good. That's very good. Well, we got the call. Yeah. So when came in and said, uh, you guys are on in one minute. I know. And. And then you just look. You were taking off your coat. I know. I know. Oh, my purse and everything. But I was here. Oh, I know. You were ready. Because you're a professional. Yeah. And I'm still learning how to behave professional. I was the day. Oh, my gosh. Well, it was a full day yesterday. Yeah. And I'm a little sore. And I'll get to that here in just a bit. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, uh, finished up here. And then my plan was to just head out to the casino. Just for a little bit. Yeah. I had some tickets to cash. And, uh, I had my, uh, what will we say? My jeans full of jack. A lot of money. Oh. So I thought, well, I'm going to play for a little bit. That was a bad idea. Terrible, bad idea. Oh, no. And then, you know, when you, when you dig a hole. Yeah. But you believe that you're going to make an amazing comeback. Oh, we always believe.
We always believe. And then as you keep digging, you find that you're digging yourself a deeper hole. And you feel like a minor. Yes. And all of a sudden, you're just with no headlamp. A pick. Yeah. And the darkness. It was very dark down there. All alone. You got the pans. Nothing's happening. So anyway, um, ended up being out there way longer than I thought, and I didn't even cash my tickets. What? So I still have the tickets, my winning tickets from the weekend. Well, that's good at least. Yeah. And then, uh, then I had it home for a bit, uh, did a few house things and then rallied to the valley. Oh, yes. So, um, wait, a Monday rally. Monday rally because there won't be a Tuesday rally because we have our event. Oh, sir. Of course. And if you remember last week, I, uh, when I went out there, uh, that Nadine said, well, are you going to do work on your handstands? And I said, well, no, but I promise I will next week. Well, then I forgot that next week was the night that we had our request event.
Yeah. So I think she thought that I was trying to, uh, pull a fast one. Squirm out of it. Yeah. Yeah. So anyway, I ended up going out there and she says, I'll have wine out here and just, you know, come on out. Wine and handstands. What could go wrong with that? Well, the handstands went before the wine, which was good. But I realized that I am way out of shape for the handstands. Like there were even, I'm way out of shape. Period. But at least when I was doing them more frequently, it was like, okay, I got this and I'm, you know, respectable. Yeah. Well, yesterday was, uh, was a disaster. Oh, no. I was like, what does it just explain what a disaster looks like? Because I'm picturing you've got, I think you've got padding and then are you going up against a wall? No, no, no. You're just meant, you're just meant. The walls are for a rookie's malls. So you're, you're now in the middle, but you're padding. So if you fall over, it's all padded.
There's no like hard floor. Well, I would say that it's hard to manage a handstand on a padded, if it's too padded, that's hard, right? Um, you want some padding because you need the softness. So when you, when you say a disaster, what does that look like? Well, it just, there's no video, thank God, of the spectacle that was my attempt. Right. Last night, or attempts multiple times. Oh, boy. But I just was, I, the first one, it was like, oh, geez, what did I do to my shoulder? Oh, no. And then the second one, oh, boy, what did I do to my wrist? But, you know, just bad, just amount of sync. So. It's a lot to ask, though, I think at our ages. And this body. Well, let's be honest. You wanted to say it. No. What I'm going to, I learned from my cartwheel. It was a lot to ask of my wrist to support at this age, at this juncture. Good analogy. Okay. So that's what I'm saying. We're asking an awful lot of this little, I mean, really relatively small bones for.
We're asking a lot of them. Yeah. As kids, you're sort of flipping and flopping and, you know, it's nothing. So. But say your little sword today. And it didn't, it didn't go well. And. Yeah. So anyway, but that, you know, I got to restart. Kind of like we're restarting here in the studio. And, you know, that's how I feel about golf. Every single part of my body hurt yesterday, including my, my right inner thigh, which I had a golf pro tell me one time. If your right inner thigh hurts after hitting balls, you are doing something wrong. They said, why would that hurt? And I said, I don't know. But it always hurts. And they said, but that's not good. Like you're doing something terribly wrong. So I get you. And that's my body starting to start up again. But you ease into it. You got to ease into it. You ease into it. So. Yeah. Well, you went though. You didn't. You were out there. Yeah, it was good. And it was great to be out there. And then, and then I did have some wine after. Yes.
And I really didn't have a whole lot to eat yesterday. Uh-oh. So, you know, the glass of wine was like, oh. Uh-oh. Oh, this is what it is. Oh, hello. Hello, pretty wine. Oh, and one other thing I did before I rallied to the valley. I went to the store. I had to pick up a few things. And the Girl Scout cookies were there. Oh. So I had to, I had to say yes to that. Oh, wait. And so I brought in a couple. I brought, um, thin mints and the lemon, some things. Ooh. Okay. We'll dig into those. You have to bust into those at some point. It's a celebration of Quinn's return. It's like a happy return cookie day. Mm-hmm. I like that. Quinn likes cookies. I do love cookies. I actually just got myself some of my, uh, Girl Scout cookies when I was at the grocery store two days ago. Okay. So, yep. They're out and about and I got my thin mints and they raised their prices. What? Did they? Six dollars now. Oh, yeah. It's six bucks. See, it's funny. It's $34. Maybe I, I don't know what I was looking at or thinking about, but when I got it, I got
three of them for $18. And I was like, man, this is a steal. I could have sworn these costs more than that. No. I thought I was getting a good deal. There was a time when it was, when everything was $5. And then I think there were a few that were moved to six. Well, now I think everything is six. Everything is six. Yeah. Because I was 12 bucks for those two. Goodness. Yeah. But I think they're still worth it. I mean, they're pretty. Oh, yeah. Oh, I'm, you know, it goes to a good cause and all that. But I'm just saying the prices keep, you know, going up. Where does it end? Well, those little girls got to pay for gas too, Molly. Yeah, Molly. Yeah. Malt. Well, though, how are you feeling today, though? I'm a, well, I'm a little, a little. And I'm, I'm very, when the alarm went off. Yeah. I'm not a hit, the snooze kind of person. But I hit the snooze. And then it was like, I got to get moving. And then I got here and then kind of adjusted a few things because we have a new, a new setup. Yeah, we have a new setup.
It's interesting. And earlier, I'm looking over at the, I'm just, this is behind the scenes. I came in hot, my jacket, my keys, my everything is there. But then there's a bottle of water that they've threw across the room in a fit of rage. Mm-hmm. And it was, it was, yeah, it was something to, was to generate a laugh. Yeah. And it did. But I'm just looking if you see, and then there's cookies or stuff. It's like, it looks like. But no one gets to see that. No, they only see this. We're still working on this. We still don't know what we're going to do with our guests. And they come in, because Kali is going to come in. So we're figuring that out. It's going to be great though. Oh, great. It's going to be great. Yes. And you, I know that you were out, because although I think we were at the same spot, but you failed to acknowledge that. I never, I know. No, I didn't, what I saw was, I sent you a text telling you something. And you, it's hard at it. But what I didn't know is that you'd sent a text also. Oh.
So I didn't see that text until I was home. Oh. I never saw, and I assumed you were already long gone. I didn't get out there till, I don't know, three, fourty, three, forty-five, something like that. So I didn't even expect, did you see me wandering around? No. Oh, I was, I was on one side and I just, I don't know. It never, it never really got going. But I did get free food to bring home, so that was good. Oh. That's always, that's always good. Yeah, I left here and I went home, and I walked the dog, and it was deceivingly cold, because I had a sweatshirt on, and I had big sweat pants on, but I had a short sleeve shirt, and it was coming through, and it was beautiful out, and my face was getting a lot of sun, but I was cold almost the entire walk. Driving home, the sun was, that was blue skies. It was beautiful. Love to really pretty, but I think it was like, forty-four degrees. Yes. I also was able to finish day one of my cherry yoga.
Thank you very much. So, which did involve summer, but not all the cactus. Carefully my pole muscle. And the sitting march, and I did that, and it had the pendulum swing, and I did that, and I did it in under ten minutes. It said ten minutes, but I was able to sit. She's, what'd you do the other nine and a half? Man. But I had to look up the spinks pose, and all of those things. I think you're supposed to later on do more reps and stuff. Well, what a hole. But so, but I had already had a forty-minute walk plus that. So, I got my exercise in. I ate a little something, and then I had to go down to the rocket bakery and have a meeting. Did that. Well, that lined you right up. I mean, you're at the rocket bakery. You're almost at the casino already.
So, you might as well get on the highway. You could have walked there from there. Yeah, that's what I was saying. But so, I did go. I played for a couple hours. Got some food, but I was sitting there waiting for the to go food. And there was a call. She came up. She was shut up. I can't believe it. Oh, you're not Jessica. I'm sorry. And I said, oh, no. So, she starts talking to me. She goes, oh, I thought, you know, Jessica got her hair cut. So, whoever Jessica was, I wasn't. And then she launches into this thing about, yeah, I want to cut my hair. But I don't know if I should. And I said, well, you know, she was looking at my hair. She goes, I mean, that awkward freight, like this is like the most awkward length. This, right? And I was like, that is my length. That is, she can't, like you don't even know what to do with it. Like you can't, it's like, doesn't look it down, but you can't put it up. And I thought, but you are, this is my length. Like, I'm stuck with this length. And I don't know who Jessica is, but she was very funny. She was, I think she was having a few piercings. She was chatting. And she was just like, so I thought, okay, now we'll put that to rest.
So, I take the food home. We eat it. We watch field of dreams. I haven't seen field of dreams in years. That's great. Oh, my God. It makes people cry. Good. Yes. But there's a couple of different moments with Archie. You know, the doctor when he comes out of the field when the little girl's choking. That moment. And I, there's just some moments in that that we were, you know, at one point I look back at Ken. I said, are you going to make it? Are you just going to be okay? Because he was really like, it was hitting him hard. But, um, so that was our watching last night. It was really good. But I also received something in the mail for our studio. And I want you to picture a mini fridge in your head. Okay. You're thinking a mini fridge. Mini. Right? So, like, like, mini. Now I'm going to show you the mini fridge. And I don't want you to laugh at the size of the mini fridge because I never laugh at size. Oh. Oh. This. They're laughing at the mini fridge, you guys.
So, uh, the cords are all in here. I'm going to plug it in. But it, uh, now I, I knew it was going to be small. But I didn't know it was going to be that small. What, what do you put in there? Well, that's the thing. I can put one of my little, uh, I was going to share and let everybody use it. But I don't, it's meant for a six pack, I guess. And so that's what they said, there's a, there's a, there's a shelf that goes here. But I took it out because now I can put more room without the shelf. So, I'm going to get, I'm going to show you what I can put in there. But, um, here's, uh, when you go on to Amazon and it's only $37, that's because that's the size of it. So, there's that. But wait. Oh, there's more. Yeah. Well, she did bring some show and tell stuff today. I think, I think I can fit this container in here. I'm going to be very upset if I can't. But it, but it has to stay.
And then that's all we get. And Bob's your uncle. So, I was going to share with you. Uh, but now. Oh, it looks like it has a cooling and a warming thing. I don't know if that's going to be a war. Well, don't get those. No, well, I, I mean, anyway, so this is my show and tell for the day. It's a lot smaller. Well, that's very nice though. I mean, I mean, I think you could put, we, um, I think I think what I need to do is use my. Where Paul containers rather than my, you know, right? So. And have you tried it? Does it actually cool? Like if you plugged it in and. Oh, but here's the other thing that's so good. I'm going to become. And this is good too, because we, we are very low on chords here in the studio. So it's good that you have brought in some more chords because. I think that's, uh, we never want to have a shortage of. Here's the thing you can plug it into your car. So now what they're saying is bring your six pack with you in the car.
No problem. Um, so I will plug it in and we'll see how it works. I think it's going to be great. Yeah. But, uh, Jacqueline is pointing out that it's an ozemic. A refrigerator. It is, it is one of those that you can keep. Meds in. It says there, like if you need to keep insulin or something like that and you're at work. I mean, imagine this is the perfect situation. So I don't know. And you could put, uh, vegetables or something, you know. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Um, but anyway, so now we have this for our studios. Well, I think that's, that's an upgrade. You're laughing at me. You can fit two of the mini cans of diet, coconut comfortably. I would say. Well, anyway. Okay. And if you ever just want to take it home. Yes. Like if you travel, you just put it in your pocket. Right. And then you just take it right. Put it in your coat pocket. You could probably get the home, get it home safe and sound. Uh, we'll plug it in and we'll see how it works.
But for now, it's going to keep my one item nice and cool. And if you ever have anything like this big. That you need to keep cool for the day. You come to my. Oh, yeah. Okay. I got you. I got you covered. I just think that sometimes on Amazon, I know it says the dimensions, but I'm a girl. I don't look at that and go, oh, well, if you're saying this by this, I'm, I can picture it in my head. I'm just thinking that looks like a nice picture. Mm-hmm. So. That's how they get you, Jerry. Yeah. But I think this is still this will be useful. I think so. Thank you for your purchase. Well, you're welcome. Now you want to do. What do you want to do? Do you want to do yoga with me? Do what? Terioga. I don't know. Terioga. Terioga. And it's, and it even, here's when I realized, and I've done this before. Oh. Oh. Do you remember curve fitness? I know the listeners and the viewers will remember curve fitness. What it was was, it was only for people you just go and do a circuit.
And that's all it was. And it had a little step thing in between each machine. But it was designed for people who hadn't exercised in decades. Okay. Now, I was already exercising a lot, but I didn't feel like putting a lot of effort in. So I joined this curve thing thinking, well, I'm going to curve. And I realized that it wasn't even close to what I should have been doing for my, I was in my 30s, I think, or early 40s. So I should have been doing like full-blown exercises. But this is what the chair thing is. And I read it. I, obviously, it's for seniors, not for somebody who has been working out. It's for somebody who wants to pretend they're doing something and really not putting a lot of effort in. Well, much like the first day, we're building. We're building. Right. I know. But I start with the chair. You're restarting. Yes. I know. It's just, I don't know. I probably should be making more effort. What it is. That's all. Yeah. I fridge. Got a fridge. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't seem to plug it in. These damn cords.
I don't even know. There you go. Oh, yeah. Got plugged in now. It's got plugged in. You can hear the home soon. It's going to be great. I'll just put it down here for now because it has a nice handy handle. And the problem is it's diesel powered. And you know what? Diesel. Yes. The expenses of that these days plus the smoke that we'll have in here. But other than that, it'll be great. We're going to clear it through the department. So yeah. So anyway, it was a good day. I got a good night's sleep. I felt good. That's a good, that's a, that's a pro move because I think today is going to be a very long day. It's a long day. There's a lot of stuff stacked up. And then we end the night out at Northern Quest with a big car giveaway. Yes. It does start a little earlier than we have been. Like the grand prize drawing starts at nine instead of nine thirty. We were talking about that because that makes a big difference. So everybody's going to show up. Somebody's going to win a BMW or they're going to win $65,000. And as much as I've been playing, I think I told you this off the air.
It's what I think I might get called. You might call my own name again. And if you do, you guys are ready to step in and cover the mics. Yeah. Yeah, it was very exciting last time. I could get called too. Although I haven't been entering. Have you been entering when you go? Here's what I've been doing. I have not been I've been entering everything except for the million dollar deal because I don't think that that's. I don't think that would be good if one of us won the million dollars. It wouldn't look good. No, it would not look good at all. So when you swipe, you've been entering that. We've been entering the, yeah, the buzzer beamer thing. And then my understanding is even if you don't as you're playing, you're, you're, yes, it's generating points. Well, I might get called too. Yeah. What if Ken Hopkins got called from his one bet he's placed in his entire life. And they're like, Kendall, Hopkins. Well, he do. He just, he could.
I don't know everybody's eligible. He'd say anyone with a canvas card. Yeah, eligible. So that'll be fun tonight. Yeah. We'll wrap up the wrap up the month with a big car giveaway in order. We start it. Well, we'll start drawing it six. I know they have specials. They always have specials. That's good. They usually get us some Cudoba or pizza or pizza or both or both. But yeah, we start drawing it six and then by 10 o'clock. I'm going to say by 10 o'clock, somebody will have $65,000 in their hand for a beat. Yeah. That's crazy. Pretty cool. Yes, it is. So that'd be fun. Yep. Yeah. So that was the day and that I'm going to just say again, feel the dream to some wonderful movie. That's great. I had not seen it in so long. But there were certain lines I remembered exactly. And remember that was the movie. I think I told you, Stacy and I were running around Universal Studios and they asked us to come in and watch a movie. They gave us like $3 or something and we watched that movie.
But it was called Shulish Show. And then months later, it comes back out called Field of Dreams. And we said that that we've seen this movie. They changed it a little bit because it probably didn't test well. Well, the name didn't test well. Yeah. So we were part of history. That's how you can tell things they're working like sometimes when they'll say, hey, we'll put a couple of Yehues on on TV for a couple of days a week. Right. Let's just limited that then all of a sudden do some tests. Hey. Pretty good. Get them on all the time. I like the Yehues. Let's put four hours of television and you know, five days a week. A lot of testing. A lot of testing. Yeah. The numbers don't lie, malls. No, they don't. No, they don't. It's called Q. They have good Q. TVQ. Trust the science. Yes. I'm trusting the science. Wonderful. We have a couple of news items to get to. We talked about with Kali on the air today.
The Midwest Goodbye. Right. I think it was right around St. Patrick's Day a couple of weeks ago, we were talking about the Irish Goodbye. Right. Yeah. And that's where you just, you're at a party and then you just leave. Right. You ghosting him. Well, the Midwest Goodbye is almost the opposite. Right. I will explain what that is. And then I think you'll want to know this. What? The safest seat on an airplane. Ooh. Do you know what it is? Do you know? I think I do. But I could be wrong. I mean, I know. Is it over the wing? No. Is it? Well, no. Oh, no. We'll give you the big reveal. Yeah, we'll give it to people. OK, I guess it depends on how you crash. If you crash tail first, then the back wouldn't be good. If you crash nose first, then you don't want to be in the front. If you crash nose first, I don't think there is a safe seat. Yeah. Oh, OK. That would be one of the things. Again, we give you the shocking details, common survival tips that most people actually get wrong.
Oh. Yeah. And the playing thing is one of those, but it's within a bigger, bigger topic. OK. Yeah. That's good news for everything. Yeah. I mean, if we were not even on this show, and we heard that those were the things that we're going to talk about, I would say, well, I would watch that show. Yeah. I would watch and listen. Watch and listen. Mm-hmm. We encourage both. Yes. At the same time. You're just listening to us on the app. Oh, you're missing out on us. Oh, my. You didn't get to see the giant refrigerator that Molly brought in. Mm-hmm. Or the chair. You know, before we leave today, I will reveal what my chair massage or my chair yoga will be today. Each and every day, I'm going to share with you what is up for me and chair yoga. I think it's very important. You can play along at home if you want. Next, I'm waiting for you to sneak in the gym with a camera. It seems like little movements, but you know what?
It all adds up to things. Do you think the movements have names like how? Oh, Huck, yeah. Yeah. Huck, yeah. You want to know? Yeah, I do. I sure do. Oh, yeah. Oh, she's going to the book. I'll practice with you. The book looks like a coloring book. Yeah. The print came into, uh, to, uh, now there's assisted march. There's the, uh, chair backward lunges. Oh. So yesterday, since you're asking, I did cat cow stretch, seated side stretch, seated cactus pose, leg pendulum, standing a sasana something, seated march, and the seated sphinx. Mm-hmm. Oh. Show me the seated sphinx. That's the hard one, Quinn. Thank you. Oh, that's a hard one. So you're going to put your ponds like this, and then you put it against your knees. It's hard to say. And then you push, and you push, what is, I don't know what you're doing. What are you doing? Well, it's hard. It's like, you're like, I'm wipes, I'm going to show you a more challenging one now that
you're taunting me like this. Um, I can read the book for a year. Oh, that's the beauty of that. It's giant print. Look at the size. And it even says show, show everybody the way it says right on the cover, giant print, large print. Like they, you know, it's for, and look at the person that's on there. I mean, that looks, that's, yeah, is that what you want to be associated with? She's got excellent posture, Dave. Can you do that? Can you put your feet straight out like that with your, with your back, that's straight? I don't think so. I could do that. Do it. Well, I know I can't have got all this, oh, the wires, the wires again. There's the, um, yeah, the seated, well, the seated March, today is going to be more challenging though. It's going to be a way more challenging. And then they're going to want you like, once you start doing this, then they want you to do several, because right now it'll be a neck roll, you know, or, or chair punches
for 20 reps. Well, then. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Bridge pose, chair squat, chair warrior pose, side leg raises, and low-dispose. I have taken some yoga classes, so I didn't have to look up every single pose. Yoga is harder than you think. And how much did you pay for the book? $17. $17 for the large print book. But think these are going to be flying off the shelves. What if I could be product placement, like, what if I'm the new spokesperson? You spent over a full unit on that book for me. Yeah. No. I couldn't pay for something. Yeah. Queen, you know, I put $20 on the twins to win the World Series. I was hearing something about that. I didn't know you actually did it. I like it. Yeah. All right. Yeah. All right. $2500. I'm sure.
For $20. Yep. I like it. And the Mariners won last night. Yeah. We got to walk off. Yeah. Walk off win. The beat the Yankees. Oh, that's good. That's a good one. And it's the first time this season that the Mariners are over $500. Hey. Nice. Hey. Defending Western champions. Very good. A L West champion. Anyway. Well, that's good. Yeah. All right. Well, I don't know what the twins record is. You should know as you, since you're a twins fan, right? Heck yeah. Where they are in their division. twins record record this year. Of course, I know. Absolutely. I know. I know that they are. Hey, we should get the chair yoga people to sponsor the show. Hey. They got a lot of mentions already. They sure have. For a text line. I should. I don't know how to look up sports ball things people Virginia says there was the time
when the Girl Scout cookies were $3. Well, everything's going up looks like the Minnesota twins are one in three. Okay. So they've won one. Is that right? Did I get it right early in the season? So who's oh, I should have gone with the Cleveland Guardians. No, they're they're two and who is is there anybody undefeated still? The Yankees were undefeated until last night. I don't know who's I don't know who well, I at least I'm not a diamond back fan. Oh, and three knock knock who's there? Oh, one. Oh, and three. Even the Cubs or one or two. No, some of these people haven't even played yet. Is that right? Oh, they've everybody's played. Well, then these are these stats are wrong. I don't know how to repeat. All right. Anyway, all right. It's go time, everybody. We'll get to the news of the day here in just a bit also later in the show. Go ask Molly. Oh, yeah. We'll have it posted up. If you want to play the show down, we're going to play early today. So make sure you're checking with us via the text line. Pillai will be our guest later on in the show.
Somehow all of that will fit into a four hour program. Oh, yeah. All right. Thanks for being with us, everyone. The David and Molly show continues from the new America studios. No matter what you can imagine, no matter what you can possibly dream, no matter what your heart desires, jewelry design center can make it for you. We have fixed everything from eyeglasses to Super Bowl MVP trophies to all types of jewelry. It gives such a confidence and an appreciation for what what that is. It can do anything. Jewelry Design Center, your jeweler for life. And for you to throw down, winning in a minute, answer ten, Dave comes in and answers him again. If your score is inferior and Dave will reign superior, it's time to play around.
Oh, yeah. Here we go. Dave's cash showdown. All right. We're ready to play the showdown. It's going to be Janine from Bellyham that gets to play. Hello, Janine. Are you there? Good morning. Oh, good. Yeah. Yeah. Welcome to the show. Good to have you with us. Good. Good to be with you. I hope it's only mid or after you today, Molly. And well, wishes are good to have and hopes and dreams always always keep your hopes and dreams. Actually, it's, you know, it's, it's, it is mid and I say it's mid. I do have a money question. Okay. Where's the money question? Number two, five dollars. Two and five dollars. Yes. Okay. And have you beat me before Janine? You have. I, I played one time and we tied. Oh, that's good. That's good. All right. That's pretty good. $8.8 and I won $10. That's my Molly. Did you, did I send you $10? You did. My goodness. Boy, am I rich? Very friendly.
That must have been after a winning night. Casino. All right. Janine, you're awesome. Thank you for being with us. I'm going to leave the studio. Molly has the rules and questions. Good luck. Thanks. Good luck to you. So with this $5 question, oh, oh, now this is new scooting. We're scooting. He made it. As you can see on our YouTube, we've gone through part of our Apple. We've had some, and also if you're commenting on YouTube, Quinn is at the helm. Quinn is the one who's, he's like answering and saying hi and all of those things. So you're talking to Quinn, right? I love seeing Quinn this morning. I know. Dave didn't put his microphone on. So now he's just going to have to do hand signals. But I can't reach it. He's trying to silence you, Quinn. You can't keep Quinn in the corner. OK, I can't put him in the corner. There you can. Keep my voice down. No. But you'll be in that chat. So any questions or anything send him my way, and I'll be the one answering in there. I like it. OK. Very good. All right, Janine, are you ready to throw down on the showdown?
Let's give it a go. All right, here we go. What is the largest Scandinavian country? Norway. Here's your money question. In the 1960s, General Mills tried to make what salty snack into a breakfast cereal? A pretzel? My money is a shortbread is originated in which country? Sweden. Who played Dolly Levi in the film adaptation of Hello Dolly? I don't know. The TV show King of the Hill is based in what US state? Illinois. Brenda Lee was only 13 when she recorded which Christmas song? Rocking around the Christmas tree. Why do I bring it up? Mary Poppins's occupation. What was the occupation of Mary Poppins?
She was a nanny. Elvis Presley was born on January 8th in which US state? Tennessee. What does the MS reference in MSNBC? Microsoft. What word is used to describe the employee's side of a casino table? You're going to be so disappointed in me. I don't know. The dealer's side. I don't know. Okay. Well, that's an obvious answer. All right. Dave's coming back in. Did I get any? You did get some. Yes, you did. You did not get them any question. Sorry. I don't see. I can't win them all. You had a giant refrigerator over there. Look at how cute it is. It is just so tiny, so tiny thing.
But it is keeping my food cold for later. We think. How do you do? How do you do, Janine? Not good. Go for it, Dave. Did you win $5? No. Okay. So you've only played one other time and the other time you won $10. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I stuck it big the first time. time go big go home now we're done all right well let's see what happens all right my turn to play ten questions here we go what is the largest Scandinavian country green in the nineteen sixties here's your money question five dollars in the nineteen sixties general mills tried to make what salty snack into a breakfast cereal pretzels damn it shortbread originated in which country Sweden who played Dolly Levi in the film adaptation of Hello Dolly I don't know the TV show King of the Hill was based in what US state Texas what was the
occupation of Mary Poppins she was on Annie Brenda Lee was only thirteen when she recorded which Christmas song rocking around the Christmas tree yes or Molly's favorite obviously was born on January 8th in which US state Mississippi what does the MS reference in MS NBC Microsoft and what you were it is used to describe the employees side of a casino table the pit in the area there I heard a voice in the background I thought you're far away I thought you'd left us final score day when sixty three got a good old fashioned doubler doubler doubler uh what was the uh I'll take it was a money question money question was um
anybody I didn't see anybody on the text line uh bugles oh they tried to make it but now I think if you think about if they made bugles sweet they actually would be a great texture for cereal because they hold their and and and stuff could get inside the little bugles and and oh that's a good question and I like it I think it they I don't think they were far off base I think they should have just made it sweet sugar bugles yes yes I love bugles they're one of my favorite I love cinnamon toast crunch see why not have both you could call them cinnamon tornadoes they look like little tornadoes uh okay so the largest Scandinavian country is Sweden neither of you got that uh they're bugles by then Scotland for shortbread so you get Sweden and I've waited put it up there oh no I meant Sweden for the first ride no no no you guys no um and then uh neither of you got uh for um
hello dolly it was Barbara Streisand oh it was not her on the Broadway version but then when they went to the film version or that didn't nobody like the people who do the Broadway who don't get to do the movie that's not nice oh yeah yeah so anyway uh tv show King of the Hill Texas very good where they sell propane and propane accessories no bother I want to be a rodeo clown uh nanny for Mary Poppins very good Brenda Lee rocking around the Christmas tree I don't know why I put that in there but he did Mississippi for Elvis and Microsoft you both got that and then Dave got pit of course you knew the gambling reference because he's always at the casino all the time so you know one can hear me but if they're watching the video they're seeing me what might what I'm doing yeah all right well Janine that's always great to hear your voice you played well you sounded great and uh what do we have
for Janine for just uh for playing the game congratulations from our friends in America credit union proud sponsor Dave's cash showdown America credit union uh they were the credit union that Elvis Presley was using yeah um when he was a superstar and um and Elvis loved new America in fact he wrote many songs about numeric credit union uh most of those were unpublished but he really believed in uh numeric credit union and he loved him so much and and then you know then he said I don't want to be a member anymore and then he got really big and passed away so I mean you can you can determine so now what you're saying is if you stop being an American member you die well that's what I mean it has happened it has happened I don't I mean you can make the connection anyway not a lot but not a lot of people know that but right anyway uh and again some of these statements not been verified uh but they sure should be um America credit union should be your credit union yes and five free cups of Dutch love from Spokane's Dutch Bros Spokane's Dutch Bros
you know what we need to get is uh is a Dutch Bros Cup that just sits right here on the table we do and well the new America mug too a new America mug we should have that on and then northern quest cards northern quest for cash how about just cash yeah oh what if we just turn this into a little casino what if we have a dealer who comes and then in between the breaks we're playing crafts or something I love that idea what if now hear me out this is a stretch we have a refrigerator now what if we have a slot machine in here that we can play you know some break rooms have the arcade games yeah it's not machine why can't we have a slot machine they give them money the casino can make if they had satellite slot machines that just went out to workplaces in the break rooms they can just run them out and then they go they put the you know tickets like and then they hear it's a catch you put cash in but the ticket you got to go out to the casino to cash it oh that's how they get you oh my god no you're still
there to me but we got sorry we got a little side tracker dreaming about it all okay uh and then I know you uh there's casinos up in Bellingham right you got yeah we've got a few I know uh his friends up there and they they have a couple that they go to they frequent they frequent my my mother is the casino lady okay and is she does she win no she's the kind that you don't like where she goes with $20 and she feels like a loser if she doesn't make it half an hour oh yeah well that's probably smart she's living within her means I mean that's good no if she's always sad that she doesn't win and I tell her if they can't build a casino if you don't deposit your money mother yes we're all in this together it's a group it's a team there's no iron team no no there is an iron winning right it's a winning there is two eyes in winning yeah that's
right but there's no iron team so you've got to give you got to give my mom always checks on me says how was church today and then she'll say how was the the Lord bless you today and I'll say well it was my turn to tithe so no just say but that's okay you get back she's all in she knows here's the church bells all right thanks going pretty well yeah it was good all right Jenny you're awesome thank you very very much very much for playing uh texting your info and Molly will get stuff out to you okay all right thanks for having me you sound great thank you okay uh we'll play you show down tomorrow tomorrow April Fool's Day edition of the showdown oh and the first round of the month of April oh clean slate for the brand new month that's right okay I'll see how that works out for someone look forward to that uh we'll get to entertainment news here in just a bit uh also collie will join us here in about an hour from right now uh and this will be her first time well everybody's first time with the new setup here in the studio yeah see how that's gonna be yeah
we'll figure it out yeah it can work everything it can be great well make it work on the fly yeah all right thanks for being with us everyone quick break we're back this is the david maulie show we are live from the new marica studios go ask maulie what should you do she'll understand what you're going through you need sage it by says you make a decision you got to measure twice and cut with precision sometimes it's yes sometimes it's no sometimes she'll just say come on checkers let's go so if you confused a male and collie go ask maulie always a perfect song go ask maulie people uh people have questions you have answers yes what are
we dealing with today well and we just put it up on the facebook so please hop on or you can comment on our text line or you can comment on youtube now and we will check all right so check facebook you check text quinoe be on youtube okay we'll cover all the bases so if you want to chime in please chime in here's the question uh plain and simple my friends kids are rude i love my friend but her kids are just rats she claims that she let some express themselves however they feel fit they are eight and ten and they run their house no please no thank you they don't pick up after themselves and they are rude i'm all for letting it kid be a kid but i think she's doing them a great to service doing them a great to service to them there's an extra them in there and of course they're homeschool she always wants us to gather at her house but none of us want to go there because of her kids i know it's bad to try to tell people how to raise their kids but is it okay to tell her that we don't want to go there because of them i think that's two different that's two
different things i think maybe you're not supposed to tell but you can absolutely be like look you can raise your kids the way you want but we're not coming to your house because they're rude but then what do you say to them i mean can you say that to somebody she probably not a rude i mean it's to me it's rare that you have an eight and ten year old that aren't a little rude unless they're very well uh you know parented or coached and the fact that they're homeschooled i think that the you would think that the parents would have a lot of time with them yes to uh i would think you know sometimes you have school angels home devils so they're very well behaved at school and then they come home in their jerks and sometimes which is even more frightening is if they're horrible at school and come home and they're perfect at home that's the one that's scary because that means that they're not feeling comfortable at home but if you're with them all the time how can you bear it i mean if i were homeschooling a brat uh that would be ridiculous you think they'd have even more
lines you know because they're they're they're all the time they're never going to school i don't there's a fine line between letting a kid uh i mean sometimes when Alex was younger i would allow him to speak in ways that maybe other adults around didn't think he should to me but that was my choice we have our own relationship and he can be a smart ally with me and he can be demanding of me and that's who we are together now i would not let him be that with somebody else i wouldn't if he was being rude to somebody else i would knock it off but but i never appreciated when somebody would step in and say no that's not how you talk to your grandmother like well yes it is that's exactly how he talks to his grandmother i am his grandmother and i told him he could talk to me that way so that's tricky but if he started being that way with other people then you can't do that and i'm a grandma it's different you know different i don't know what do you guys think uh thoughts what do you think uh concerns statements uh you can text in your your thoughts via the Dutch Post text line 509
four four eight three two three seven uh and then there's also uh you you can comment through youtube if you're seeing all of this happen yes and a uh Facebook as well yes everybody that's a tough age i don't know that yeah i don't know that you can make firm decisions based on some kids behavior at eight and ten i don't know well obviously they've been a long time since i had little ones yeah and eight and ten that's kind of those are feeling there you know they can be kind of jerky anyway i think personally i think it's within your reason to say something about at this juncture where your kids are maybe it's best that we don't have a gathering of adults doesn't seem like it's fun for them definitely not fun for us so maybe you don't suggest subject them to that uh Debbie on the text line says uh yes say something better to be honest than
not saying anything at all yeah oh they're gonna wonder like invite the person over to your house and invite them over and be like yeah we're having a no kids type of night and try to do it more in that sense to like not maybe offend them because i know particularly when the kids are at those ages i agree that it's hard to make any conclusions and things on them but maybe try to have it adults only night at your house or be more specific and say yes some kids but no eight or ten year olds okay yeah so we just i mean we just but all you know we just decided i mean it made change in a couple well i don't know if it will change next year yeah oh yeah i don't know if this person has their own kids are not either because that makes a big difference if you have your own kids you totally understand but also if you have your own your own kids you you have something to base it on like well i don't want it my kids acting like this if you don't have them and you've never been around an eight and a ten year old then really it's kind of tricky uh on Facebook Aaron says
absolutely not unless you want to kiss your friendship goodbye i suggest a mom's night out or started book clubs something that the kids aren't allowed to do or attend i have a friend with an out of control kid and keeps things separate especially because i don't want my kids around him fair enough that's a good that's a good point uh jesslyn on the sex line invite her out for uh to a bar for drinking if she doesn't go for that when you do something for the kids say very loud in a strong voice you're welcome i think i said it the right way she won yeah i'm pretty good well and i know kids go through their different phases they were there were times when i was parenting where i just knew that it wasn't gonna work i knew what was appropriate i knew what my son could handle and and i i also knew the safe space because i raised him with our friends and their daughters so i knew anything that happened within that realm we all understood
that everybody's going through phases and everybody's going to be a jerk for a while and sometimes we're not going to want to be around those kids right now um so i understand but i was also very sensitive to it i mean i i knew that that was the case i knew where i couldn't couldn't bring him he was never rude to people he would just quietly run away like oh where is he is that your kid up there in the tree oh thank you you know he would he was more ornary but he was he was always polite to other people so but you got to know what's appropriate for your kids i don't understand the people who want their kids with them no matter what it's it's not always appropriate even even if they're well behaved still you don't it's not you're acting doing things that you don't want them to see you do as an adult and in that's not really fair to always bring a kid into an adult environment so uh Phil says higher kid actors and then have them around during the get together to show them how to behave very simple plan it's higher the kid actor so first
get some actors and then pay for them and then hope that they will do as the others do um i mean i don't know if there's a i i do think you're gonna have to just make other plans and if if she says well why don't you ever come over to my house maybe just say it seems like there's a lot going on you got the kids your homeschooling we don't want to add to the burden oh no no it's no burden my kids love having you oh no it's a burden oh it's a burden no right it's a burden for us john on the text line says you can let your kids express themselves however basic manners should always be part of that if you don't like the way your friend is raising your their kids just don't go over there as much okay yes um Natasha says um i just tell them i love you and i love hanging out with you but i'm going to be honest
sometimes the kids behavior feels a little rude to me and it makes it hard to relax can we plan some get-togethers outside of your place uh we can try it as soon as the word rude comes up the mom's cackles go up rude did you say rude did you already read a vet you wrote a red offense um they're coming in fast going in hot and fast uh i don't think we've read this one if that listener 194 your kids are rude to parents but never in front of other adults teachers adults always said how well behave my kids were and i was so grateful i would let your friend know that you will not gather at her house and say adult only um all right adults only and again the more specifically no eight and ten year old oh you have a 12 and a 15 year old they're invited but oh eight and ten year old's not invited all right anything on uh youtube that we need
to know about no nothing uh nothing super pressing coming through on on the goess molly at the moment getting some comments about some other things i think our slight delay oh yes that's right people are very excited the quintess back look at this multiple quintensions here on on youtube yep yeah thank you all very excited to be back it's been super fun it's like old times again getting back into it but it's an adjustment in the mornings huh yeah it is getting back to that summer yeah the summertime which i don't know if i've ever actually been with you guys through the summer you haven't i don't think so you started in september and then i think it was march yeah yeah when yeah so no real spring and summer months but i'm super excited yeah i already know next Tuesday's gonna be tough for me after the uh national championship game Monday night being good company though yeah but i'll be in good spirits after that so you boys can phone it in i got you obviously yeah obviously before the last bucket scores i have watched five minutes of
basketball through this entire thing wasn't nabrasca i don't even know that it what maybe and it was at the casino as i was passing by going my car um well there's only three more games left i know we got two saturday and then the championship games sunday i used to watch the championship game every time because we used to host a thing and it would be on and then we would do prizes and stuff so we'd watch it for different gatherings different settings but like yay i'll tell you what the most fun i ever had was when um uh who's the gal that the it was the it was the women's finals and it was what's the oh Caitlin Clark that yeah that was that was really fun we all gathered to watch that it was that uh there's a great new uh commercial uh capital one commercial uh they've known hired Caitlin Clark have you seen that one yeah yeah it's got it's got it's got it's got charles it's got all the regular people charles barkley and um uh Samuel L Jackson everything
but she's you know shooting three points with you know food and landing and stuff yeah it's very funny yeah hidden charles barkley with stuff and things like that it's not a backboard yeah terrible terrible i like that i hope she's making big money too because she's just uh they just had a big cba negotiation deal my wba news so now that it's in it's still not the same money wise compared to the men but they're making a ton more from what they were making so like it's like triple yeah it's a triple so their max deal is i think up to like a 1.6 million or something like that now which was only like 350,000 before so it's a huge jump so making some progress there mm-hmm we were talking the other day because they was quizzing me like i claimed i knew all the baseball gate uh team names i knew almost none of them when he started quizzing me but i actually knew more NBA than i thought i would so then he started with the wmba and then he said well when would know all the yeah you know all the team names i do i i should yeah and there's a couple that are moving
around now and a couple new ones coming soon so it'll be but i said you believe i know them all and you know all the hockey teams i think so yeah probably at the top of my head i don't think i can name all the hockey teams but if you like listed the cities i could tell you what their team is mba i could probably get close mba i could do probably all of them just off the top of my head baseball not off the top of my head i think i i think i would know baseball is my like least the sport that i know the least about to be totally a particularly MLB so i think if you gave the same to everything if you gave me all the cities i think i could tell you what the mascots are orials washington uh nationals san francisco giants put back did i use devatee or one of those Canadian cities and he's so proud of her choke all right let me see if there's any more comments on the facebook and then we will call it good
any more texan i think there were a couple more texan mostly they're about quink quince a hot topic today oh yeah a lot of heat on quince here's one more uh tell her you'd like to get her out of her busy home for mommy time oh that's a good idea i think you can avoid it until the kids get out of the root face i mean i do i think you can just push them off and push them off and just be not available and if she wants to do something then go somewhere else say let's do it at my house what if what if she says do it at your house then she brings the root kids with her oh boy then we've got trouble then we've got real trouble so well good luck d and the the moral of the story is don't have root it's yeah mm-hmm let's see uh let's go to Molly I said so weird to see the person i've heard only by voice so happy quince is there and i love watching listening so they're 30 years strong now have they never seen you quince i guess not i know maybe not
because yeah we weren't ever really on video we'd occasionally post a picture on our social media but that's probably about all i've really my face has been in not gonna pay bullies a star most people would be like now is it possible to just have quince on we still want you guys to talk we want we like your funny banter what could we just have it be quince no maybe a couple other young people from the building just put the camera on that we need to hire actors to play a livia to get it what if a livia quince sit here and then we're off and then there's moving their mouths and we're doing funny things behind the scenes all right uh while speaking of the of the pretty people uh we have real tv people coming in here uh coli will join us here and just a bit we'll have a segment with her when we return this is the david molly show from the new america studios we now return to the david molly show hey look at us here it's our friend coli good morning and
you're in the new uh the new situation here what do you think of it well i was gonna ask you guys because you're on youtube now and so you're addressing the camera now yeah but does it feel like you're less connecting because you're not facing each other or do you still feel a connection we still look deeply into each other's eyes when we speak what do you like to do is we like to if what good morning you guys are clearly brother and sister he doesn't even like discuss like i just you know well body language i always tell my i always tell my kids like square up like when someone's talking to you square up it's nice but you can't in this case you can't because now we'll look at you and sam how do you do it so you're both talking to the audience yeah exactly we're actually talking to each other so yeah well and i feel like it's less about the connect i mean like obviously sam and i have to have good chemistry right but it's less about the connection because more about reading our scripts and the content yeah it's delivering a product yeah we are just
being silly no you guys haven't very important information like i did not know what a midwesca buy was until you brought that information to me we were talking about that this morning on when you were co-hosting the wake up show local yeah and thank you collide and the midwesca buy is when you say goodbye to every single person in the room yeah and you were saying that in Hawaii that's the same same kind of thing you go around and kiss every single person when you get there and when you leave you're kissing now yes kiss it's a cheek-to-cheek okay like not like and it's like yeah and i would say imagine imagine how long that the Hawaii and hello would take right if there's a little tongue involved okay not at all no and i would say it's even it might even be quicker it's quicker than a hug because it is like cheek-to-cheek around the room okay um and you were saying the midwesca buy which i wouldn't know i haven't spent a lot of time there um not only is it a goodbye but
also it could very well be a whole on conversation yeah and a lingering in the and it happens all right by the door yeah like they're just ready to leave but then you know and it's cold out there it's Wisconsin and there's snow blow and it's like okay Steve way go ahead and go yeah that that would be a good one though like if you are not into the midwesca buy just open the door you're standing in the entryway just open the door and then we like get out it's cold yeah right okay and then you guys just say it depends on the size of the party on if you're doing the yeah if it's a hundred people you can say oh you think about the host though okay you always try to find the host okay if it's a wedding and the bride and groom are otherwise occupied i don't know that you interrupt them whatever they're doing to say goodbye and usually if it's a wedding it's a good thing because she's not a lot of them so she she'll know this part of it pretty well so speaking of that and my first wedding uh it would have been rude for people not to say goodbye it
was small enough second wedding everybody's hammered i said just make it home alive we're in Vegas and the third wedding was at the courthouse and Charlie my boys so like i could see the front i could see the door but um now i miss my now i lost my train of thought thanks Dave at weddings yeah well i told you the wedding can there are a lot of thoughts in your head because there's been so many that i could see where you know it's a lot of you know a lot of clutter and just for just for clarification how many of you had i don't know i can't i don't know i took i had more than one i don't know did anyone come up and say goodbye and then they say see you next time because there are no other one maybe my second one maybe no i did have a friend who missed my second wedding and she was hauled off in an ambulance and she said don't worry i'll make the next one oh my gosh have you guys been to those where you're out of wedding and you're like i don't know if this is
forever my own so you you knew at the time like you couldn't have no i wouldn't know i was very hopeful at the time my first wedding i was a little thinking i'm a little young for this i don't know how this is gonna work out but no i was very excited to be married otherwise i wouldn't have done it okay good that's good yeah you want to be sure on the day up but i'm my point now i'm really bad because i had a good point about what it was about saying goodbye it was about depending on the size of the wedding right oh at wedding there comes here we go uh when you say hello to the bride and groom you do it all in that thing you say i'm so happy for you this is gonna be so great enjoy your evening thank you and for inviting us and if we don't see you like we're having fun you go have fun and we'll see you after that anyone i love that i love that because also as the bride and groom are you happy or sad if people don't say goodbye to you if it's a decent sized wedding i think i think i understand right i don't want to stop what you're doing yeah i just they're so happy that you're there to share in their special day but also like
that's all it is it's like hello hello hello goodbye goodbye goodbye so maybe they want to like i don't know do you have a big wedding i think it was over a hundred people less than two mm-hmm yeah we i was well that's a big and you only one i know right yeah that's a big red say hello say like around 150 oh and you just have the one wedding yes only one so far so good okay for some people that's been done for some people that's fine well i we've talked about it before i say i think like the hardest thing would be like you fundamentally just disagree on things or like somebody has to make a really big sacrifice for something they're like there's people all the time where it's like they live in a city they don't want to even live in or yeah they have five kids and they wanted zero or vice versa right or vice versa like i wanted a ton of kids and like i loved this person but they don't want to or just one day you're like hmm i don't like you
but you like me and that's a problem because i don't like you anymore yeah i have to go now yeah well and i've heard of big conversation lately like about happiness like your happiness and actually which sounds hilarious but this is actually a new phenomenon that people are just wanting to be happy what i've been trying to tell everybody yes i'm getting divorced again i just want right and not only do i want to be happy i want the person to be happy they're gonna be happy or when they cut them loose yeah they may not think so now but they yeah i mean they talk about divorce rates i don't know what they are now but for years divorce rates have been increasing i'm like because in the olden days it didn't matter if you were happy you were right it didn't that wasn't a question you're like just trying to survive and then i don't know if you were a woman who couldn't get a credit card or a bank account you were all so just married we weren't even allowed to have a credit card right yeah so but you guys could vote that was good yeah eventually eventually yes so now women can be like wow i can make my own money and get alone to buy a house
i guess i don't need you here right and there's also a way for us to make our own babies now see we don't even need any of the end because you guys want to make a few extra bucks you're willing to go to the clinic yeah we'll take it right you don't even need i think it's working out yeah everyone and it is i think it's the best of times the first time i got divorced we had an american expressed card and we split up and i wasn't making very much money i was serving you know anyway i go to get a card and they said oh no you you can't have your own card and i and i said why not well your husband's not on it and he made a lot more money and i said well am i responsible for the balance on the current one we have oh absolutely yeah i said but i can't have my own and they said well no you don't make enough money you can't have one yeah rude yeah there's there's a bunch of stories that go along with that too that's that is i know i also have heard cheaper to keep her like the finances and all the split and what you had
to go through there like sometimes it's like i'm too tired i don't i guess i'll just keep married being married to you that's the phrase cheaper to keep her i never heard that yeah there's got to be a vice versa versa though because not all the dudes are making more anymore that's what's cost me i usually pay i don't know who these women are they get money out of men i don't know yeah it's true i don't i've never i don't know how that um but i guess it happens oh it happens okay well sorry that's what happens when you get to vote 200 years before we do right i hope this is all great advice for quen over there who is now okay yeah you're getting married i am and you're planning on just the one i'm planning on it yes that's the that's the plan going into it for sure i do know that we have already made it a thing for us that because we're big dance floor people so we're like when it comes dancing time we don't want to be interrupted like
and we're gonna plan to tell people because my family from the east coast we're gonna have like a Sunday brunch or whatever after the fact to see them off but we're like if we're out there dancing and you don't want to come join go home i wish goodbye we're good that's awesome i love it good i mean imagine you're doing the worm on the dance floor and then you have to stop midworm to say goodbye yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah and if they catch me during a michael jackson song i will throw rage rage out into the dad so that's a that's a thing that you know you're for your age I've been to a few of those weddings of that age group and that is yeah it is there they want to hang out yeah and they have a usually their social group of friends that have always been there go out and have fun with friends and they want to just they want it that's a party yeah yeah do you have a date uh we do next all guest oh his wife hello how did you think he was bringing sorry yeah next uh all guest we're getting married here in spokane so i'm getting all my family to
come out from the east coast and come spend a weekend here with us so it'll be fun do you think they're gonna want to stay like are they gonna fall in love with spokane uh that's my hope i've been trying for five years that's what i did when i came to visit so i've been trying for five years to get people out here to see it and i've only been able to successfully get my parents and my little brother out who both like it but just aren't gonna move here tomorrow but august is a good time of year because you can showcase all the nice lakes and everything and it's not all humid and buggy like it is where they live yes exactly up alone florida in august hello they're gonna love it here yeah it'll be good relief and yeah we're hoping i'm gonna hope to have my bachelor party like kind of on the front end of the wedding week and maybe go over to court lane and get a cabin or something like that and really show up here i'm only doing this once people yeah yes what time will they come yeah we're live for one night only yeah it's gonna be great okay i've joined us tomorrow on wake up nonstop local of course you guys
well because you anchor this show with us every morning at five forty five and seven forty five oh what's your step forty five why cuz you guys aren't there you confused you're correct it's recorded we played again oh it is really yeah oh yeah the other day i was uh out i won't even say where i was but it's very nice little lady she was we were chatting and then we walked away and then chatting again she said now i know you and i said oh i'm Molly from the news where i co-anchor the news every day she said you and your friend Dave i've seen you with coli and sam oh my gosh that's awesome so you guys do co-anchor with us yeah and we're with that crossing or cuz they weren't not our listeners oh she had no idea that was the only reference she had for sure because she was we were sitting chatting and she was very sweet uh Evelyn with her name and um and then i didn't even get to mention the podcast i just said yep she said i'll see y'all the news i was gonna give her a shout out i forgot but yeah well
and that same has happened to sam and i where they'll come in and they'll be like you run into them and they're like i'm a listener that's happening to be a couple times i'm a listener such in such number yeah they'll reference something we were talking about so it's a good part is a good partnership guys and i do see on display your best uh always that's till out there i mean we didn't even know to put that away and well i am just saying given your popularity and now that you anchor the morning show maybe we can get best of tv anchors next time i wonder if we qualify for that i mean you no no no i mean i wanted to be about us i don't mean me and sam i mean all of us yes we're team yes and we need your popularity to get one of these you know what i i'm gonna say that they should have a category for best news team rather than the individuals because usually you have your two anchors of whether in a sports person yeah
and and collectively the reporters and everything maybe we should suggest to them that there's to be that category well it is i mean they do have a ton of them now not team but they've got either sports banker and that's it yeah so they should or maybe i could just like find a printer and make our own oh make my friend yes and then we have to talk about uh pull back the curtain a little bit Molly mentioned but when we came on this morning yeah we were we were coming in hot we didn't write it so late we were in this studio and they came over and said one minute yeah and we go over there and kala you were so great you had our mics ready to go they were all turned on like you that is a teammate that's a good team it sounds insane but if you do it every day you know that turning on the microphone which does take like what three to five seconds which sounds like not a lot but in TV times three to five seconds is a lot yeah and then unraveling the cord yeah again also takes three to five seconds yeah so that was like essentially almost like
ten minutes ten seconds lost you did if i didn't do that for you guys and our walk over that's 30 seconds and you hustle i saw a jog happening uh i thought it was on our end i thought we were calling for you guys earlier than usual well usually usually we go over there but 41 after but all of a sudden it was 43 and we as we go over there but i was left in my house at the same time i don't know how i lost a couple minutes maybe because we were in here chatting about the studio and and again a minute is a lot in tv time goes fast yeah yeah so good teammates cover for the teammates yes guys okay well see you tomorrow yeah and um are you gonna is it gonna yeah we'll see you on the news soon yesterday sam dropped uh we were talking about sports people because i was making fun of the sports announcers and i we asked him you can have to take this back to the desk okay we asked him if he had uh what do we ask him if he had a catchphrase right yeah and so he said he did uh it was baseball in anchorage was it in a lot and so his thing was if you have
to do it because i don't remember the details it was uh two men on three men jogging for which means the guy at the home plate hit a home run right so there was two guys on and now they're three jogging around yeah so that that was his thing so that was his his home run call do you have the dynamite did he have to explain it every time well we said it not we picked up on it but okay yeah i just kind of a longer yeah way to say home run yes but what i would like for you to be able to do is go back and just just say all those guys and just be like out two men two men on three men jogging i said it eight times yesterday in my regular life but if you could drop it oh okay suddenly i think it would be really funny suddenly and because he'll go cooots he'll be like i made that up i mean no you no you didn't just like you think you made up tarjay actually everybody said two men on three men jogging everybody says that yeah all right good
seeing you guys good to see you tomorrow you see a coli yeah that's good in the new studio pretty good yeah got cameras yeah light action roll them i hope she i really hope that she's able to just drop that in conversation with him because he will he will say cooots he will be pissed i call cooots i call cooots i always just think all right all right i think that well well we'll do a break and then we'll have our hot topic segment we'll get to that here in just a bit it's it's the last day of march tomorrow everybody be on high alert we're not going to warn you tomorrow but today you know be prepared for April Fool's Day tomorrow you never know what can happen they don't know be prepared beyond guard all right back after break the david molly show continues from the new america studios hot topics brought to you by Clark's tire and automotive center

and i have and i don't have any knowledge of this person i never watched the voice are you a voice person when you watch the voice yeah we do i uh i actually we haven't watched it the last handful of seasons so i actually have never heard of this guy but this would have been this would have been several years ago yeah so i kind i was we watched it for about like two and a half years when i first moved here so somewhere in the middle of when he won and now but no i've never heard of him yeah that's really interesting but a pretty good claim to fame i guess so what's he doing now well that's yeah see there you go is it a claim to fame or their cars what's a current might be a curse uh here's one i think you should be able to get okay all right all right all right all right all right all right all right ready uh angus young he's raised he's very good okay we got a winner he is the only original member of acdc left speaking of that did you happen to see up on a billboard
uh the gene simmonds uh uh no but i had i got into a conversation with a uh card dealer yesterday about gene simmonds uh okay i won't reveal okay much of what i let's talk all right yeah what what what about oh no i just there's there's a big billboards and they're very they're very large as you're walking into a casino land and it's like oh oh he's rocking us he's rocking us oh he's all by himself gene simmonds yeah it's like the gene simmonds band yeah so yeah i heard a thing about that oh i'd like to hear that off there okay so angus young yeah angus young is 71 and uh former vice president of the united states of all of america a two-term uh al Gore oh al Gore has a birthday today 78 and my plan i'm gonna have a birthday but there won't be any candles because that will warm the earth good one it's an inconvenient truth but you need to know it
right yeah pretty good and then i'm going to be in a hot tub in s and l and that's when everything ends for me oh it ended all right just think about that i mean you're a two term uh vice president right uh from a southern state so a southern democrat so you got a you got all these political advantages then you barely lose an election right and then you think well i won't think your career's over no until until you make the decision yep to go on Saturday night live yes shirtless yes who who who said that was a good idea like who it's who's the one the convention no oh no this would be good you'll do you'll it'll help you connect with uh i think after everything that happened with the chats and all that because that was wasn't that the i mean it was taxing that was exhausting and he probably thought well if i'm just i give up i'm going shirtless on s and l i just i'll be in a hot tub i can't take it anymore
wearing uh swim trunks i don't know what well let's look at another case where somebody put on a helmet and went in a tank and they hadn't even lost the election yet until then oh they lost it then well yeah you know who alcohol is i know who he is i had no idea he did this on this i thought you guys i thought s and l did a bit on him no no i was really oh no oh my goodness and i remember we we went back to work the like well the monday or whatever and like everybody knew well that tells you that he's done yeah yeah it was that it was in in the your home state of florida yeah your original home state right yeah well second home state but yeah the hanging chads it was a long drawn out election thing and after 60 days how many days was it it was i don't think they confirmed it well it was probably 30 because i think it was it was mid-december when they finally said okay it's yeah and he lost after being in it very
popular pride presidency i mean that was a part of but you know and after all that then you know you take your shirt off and you go on s and l he was in a hot tub what was the bit i don't even remember the bit playing himself he was right i don't remember i once you see him in a hot tub it's like i don't nothing else mattered it was like yeah yeah i could see that being the career ender well and the lock box saying that i always do the lock box bit because that was something they did on s and l right but um i'm just gonna put s and l and then hot tub we'll just see if anything well the first bit that will come up will be will feral and was it a Rachel dratch they did a hot tub bit that was always very funny right yeah decision two thousand with bushing gore cold open uh line up now uh maybe it's been taken off it might be go up to look for it it may have been removed i'm not seeing anything
uh uh uh yeah well there's something from the Christian science and monitor algorithm hot tub question mark memorable yes and i i okay this is my computer now i'm googling things what just popped up on my computer uh printable chair yoga program is now free it's now free you've wasted seventeen dollars on the book they know your computer knows you know kidding what does that have to do with the christian scientist the christian science monitor all right anyway uh real perman uh rea perlman is also seventy eight yes Carla from cheers mm-hmm uh they used to be or she used to be married to Danny de Vito and they got divorced then they got together they they did but i think they they are now officially separated oh well they were together not together together and now i told you my friends
said if they can't stay together well who who has a shot yeah they're perfect for each reason yeah gave cappellan still with us mr. cataire mm-hmm he's 81 very and and and very nice he was very good to all those sweat hogs and he was one of the early um uh well big time poker players yeah but he um before poker was like ever on tv and all that kind of stuff he was he was a legit player but a celebrity he also owned his show first median to own his show other like red red fox and those guys they did those shows they didn't own them when he did welcome back cutter he was part owner of that show i was his bet and he stuck to it and then after that came all the people who own their show they probably got a lot probably had tons of money yeah yeah yeah all right now this would be fun because i'm going to say somebody's name and you do an impression of this person okay and we'll let you just uh run off and do all of your
impressions of 83 year old uh oh Christopher walkin and they've now that we're on youtube but i feel it necessary not to do this anymore because molly looks stupid doing it so because of that yeah now let me tell you something about charioga Dave you don't know it's very good for flexibility and make sure that you were constantly moving that's all and i believe his picture is on the oh no that's a large print Dave i don't have to wear my glasses anymore this is not him how dare you well i just i mean i just looked i'm gonna say it again she's got lovely posture and great flexibility and i dare you to try to do this maneuver both of you uh that i'm not i can totally do that for how long well how long is she doing it look how
straight she is long enough for a photo see that hurts that hurts long enough for a photo it hurts just thinking about it i don't see i know see you're young i know i'm not flexible charioga is not for everyone a lot of people only know Christopher walkin uh from the Saturday night live bit with the uh you know yeah need more cowbell right very famous bit but he also he kept a pocket watch in a very delicate spot in pulp fiction yes he did people to know that movie definitely know hey you know what today is national tater tot day we like tater tots never been a better time to have some tater tots have a taut yeah i like tauts yeah everybody likes it pull you died i might reference from from Molly you mean some of your tauts it's some of your own gosh we were once actually out of it in his pocket yeah the kid uh kid some it's fascism oh jeez
that's a good Napoleon dynamite yeah i've watched a lot of it so i should have it on lock at this point what was the other one that we had you do remember that you pulled out of your pocket what was it it was so funny um it was a really good imitation and you even surprised yourself with it remember oh yeah i do remember doing it now i forget what that was it something to be with Harry Potter no no no it was something we're gonna have to go back some i'll bet so many on the texas yeah because and it was just audio back then yeah but the face i remembered the physicality of it was really good too and uh what was i do i remember vividly getting super into it you like yeah but i forget what i was doing i've got a handful of them in my back pocket so i'll have to do some digging you know the other night on um survivor i forgot to mention this and if Brian's listening and a couple other people who watch jeff probes imitated a couple of the survivors oh and he did it dead on and and one of them was sitting right there when he did it
like bold he sort of stutters he thinks about things and uh uh jeff and the guy who was doing he was watching and he said oh that that's pretty good actually that's pretty good and he he did two or three different imitations that i and and he goes i have a lot of these and so you got the impression that they spend their time oh yeah you know which is what i would do if i hosted that show i would completely want to imitate each one of them yeah but it was just surprisingly he was surprisingly funny yeah i guess actually yes jeff probes full of surprises yes he is no reason he's been doing that for years yeah 137 years ago today the years 1889 the Eiffel Tower was officially dedicated that's nice nine hundred and eighty four feet tall it was the world's largest structure at the time it held the title until the 1930s when we nine states of america decided to build the empire state building yeah we said oh you think you're yeah right and then once again
the french had to surrender a title yes they did as they said well they threw the white flag up 94 years ago today the year is 1932 you would talk about speed and power yeah Ford unveiled the new v8 engine oh that was a game changer right they ran on tomato juice was right now this is a dad joke quit we're no that's a nice clean joke you can take to your kids uh pta me being told now oh no eight cylinders yes yes not the tomato juice guy uh 59 years ago today jimmy hindrick said his guitar on fire for the very first time oh i had a concert in london that's what he used to do he'd bash it then he would set it on fire and he could play he could play it behind his back yeah he could do everything he never want to play it put it behind like put it on fire then put it behind your back because then you you'll burn your back right yeah or smash it then try to do it because then it just sounds right
it's all about the order of thing yeah 31 years ago today we've got to bring it down how far I have pretty bit food uh Selena member Selena yes Selena was killed of course corpus christie texas and it was by the founder of her fan club that's right uh that woman's name was yolanda sandavar uh she was convicted of murder sentenced to life in prison uh she actually was just denied parole last year but the the strange part about this is that situation yeah led to the career of Jennifer Lopez Jennifer Lopez very good yeah jalo played her in that movie and that was her breakout was it yeah that was her first thing mm-hmm so for jalo was good speed of jalo and a not no spoiler alerts but the anaconda movie you know the original it starred jalo Eric Stoltz and ice cube those were three of the main people and in it there are some cameos
and it ice cube shows up and he goes now it's jalo and our Eric going to be going goes well Jenny's from the block should we find yes but Eric I gotta go find him because he's gonna get the anaconda gonna get him anyway she's sort of and you can see it coming that she's gonna make an appearance and she does she she's at the end yeah yeah pretty good fun and that doesn't ruin it for anybody but yeah I was hoping Eric Stoltz would be in there too and I can't try to picture what is it do I know what does he do say anything he was the elephant man oh okay okay right Eric Stoltz was the elephant man okay yeah I um absolutely loved him he looked a little like my first boyfriend a little bit of a ginger um and yeah first boyfriend or first husband first boyfriend but thank you for asking he was also a small part and fast times at rich
mountain high believe he was one of the guys when he came in and he took his shirt off he was one of the friends when uh in the in them when he goes hey man no shoes no shirt no service or whatever he was one of the buddies I don't need any lines wow and then say anything Jerry McQuire tingles uh 26 years ago today high fidelity was released John Cusack as a record store owner Lisa Bonet one of his lovers and Jack Black who plays his mother in that movie you better get this right oh no she's one of our listeners she's got a number really no intervulta no mom does now in a Margaret oh oh John Cusack's mom in that movie I thought we've talked about it before when he calls home she's she's just on the phone I don't know she's in a scene with him I think she's yeah but she's in it they filmed it in Chicago yeah oh my god it plays part in
that I don't think I knew I wouldn't remember that she's there hmm she's there she was in a couple movies that filmed in Chicago one with Halle Berry um one she was in a couple but yeah wow isn't that cool that's very cool um clearly something very very something and Margaret's probably listening right now isn't she well Jimmy's probably listening he'll play it back for her later but yeah uncle Jimmy's uncle Jimmy sent me something yesterday then I'm not going to share with you because I know this is the exact face she'll make you'll go oh and then you'll go and you'll move it aside you want to see it no no no no it had to do with lightning a certain part of your body remember remember we used to do the things one of the phrases just part of it was balloon not like oh I mean we have the things yes yes yes I don't need to know anymore
I was thinking he sent me an ad that had that the lightning a certain part anyway it was but that's what it showed oh boy nevermind and we have dig digressed anyway my Aunt Margaret was in high fidelity and she was wonderful and the lovely actor it's a great movie it is a great movie classic um 12 years ago today how I met your mother aired its final episode mm-hmm did you ever want to show I didn't really not not just a little bit did you want to actually and when we were talking about the Midwestern goodbyes all I could think of if anyone's ever seen out there as Marshall is from Minnesota I believe and he goes back to visit his family at one point and they're out like playing some hockey basketball game out in the backyard and their moms making a salad and I think it's lily or whatever the characters in there he goes oh perfect finally something that's not like cheese and like ton of high fat and she's making the salad and it's like so first you do a layer of mayonnaise and then a layer of potato chips and then another layer of mayonnaise
so that's what I've been thinking about all morning did you watch the show when an error I did not know Maddie did see no here's the thing so that the show was successful yeah it was a top 10 show right but it is one of the most successful uh post shows yes in the history of television even like Seinfeld and then the office right right and how I met your mother is in that category it's crazy and I've never seen it I've seen it that way I've seen it like how how um big bang theory runs all the time and another one two and a half men runs all the time right um office yeah yeah it's one that I've never seen full through but I think I watched like the first five or six seasons and then like I've kind of seen the last handful I forget how many there are but I've never actually finished it so I don't know how it ends we don't know how he actually met no no yeah well hang on no you want to know yeah uh in the final episode uh where the mother's fate was finally revealed after after Ted's kids encourage him to ask Aunt Robin out what does that mean maybe it means
Robin was their mom who's one of the main characters but I don't know I don't either yeah show lasted nine seasons but one of the most successful post show runs in history interesting and that makes sense but everyone that I know outside I think Maddie watched it at least the end of it when it was actually on TV and everyone else that I've known has watched it through streaming which is what you do yeah oh yeah okay um I want to go back to Eric Stoltz for just a second because I just realized a fun fact not fun but I um he was originally the guy in back to the future they shot five weeks with that I do do do do remember and they replaced him with Michael to Fox because I said he was too stiff too straight yeah yeah not fun and he's also in pulp fiction yeah how dare you don't know that or did you know that is he the one with honey bunny no that's a different guy I can't remember where he plays in but Anaconda all right but um yeah uh televisions
uh television notes tonight as we know what Quinn will be doing watching tonight uh you got your double header on NBC NBA action yeah we should do who's playing the next I don't know who the games are the rockets hosting the next the rockets are from hang on yep Minnesota no okay no I don't know the rockets Houston oh damn it of course yep and what was the other one New York where they from that's no the New York mix there's nigger bockers yep yep that's the first game the second game will be the LA well it's either the Lakers or oh my god the clippers the clippers yeah very good that's their play and they're posting the Portland trailblazer okay back in the day and I think all these teams are pretty I don't know the standings of the NBA and nicks are pretty good right yeah nicks are good Houston's solid but they're free fallen right now so they're plummeted down the western ranking so they're
in kind of a tailspin um clippers are okay Portland's okay okay that evening game doesn't intrigue me as much but the first game should be good is it mere does it seem like there's a lack of hustle in the NBA well here's the thing malls oh we're at we're at the perfect time because yes we were absolutely correct but this is the time of the year this is where it gets good because this is where if you're basketball fan you should watch through March madness you should stick with March madness and college basketball and now we're in like the last 10 to 15 games of the NBA season so it now it actually matters and they're seeding changes like pretty much every game there are only that many left in the NBA it happened so fast yeah and then we'll be in playoffs in mid-April so we're almost done so now they start trying a lot because now it matters for their seeding so the games are really good like start pretty much starting we can actually but now they start trying yes they start trying millions of dollars and not try early in the season and then at the end they start trying that was your zinc yeah yeah more or less you heard it here
we used to call back in the day the clippers were one of those terrible franchises yes they were poorly run and they were always bad right so we used to call them the slippers that was always the name they were just always the oh playing the slippers and you know you're fun fun fact for you sorry with the clippers we're what team were they originally what did they start as they were the San Diego but what were they before they were in San Diego buffalo buffalo braids oh my god and they're still occasionally where the old buffalo uniforms now it's really and who is the most famous buffalo brave player Bob McAdoo really good there we go say bonaventures legends and Bob McAdoo later won an NBA title playing for the who I actually don't know Celtics but liquors oh oh right yeah right in the movie anaconda uh-huh the guy is from buffalo really and he's like hey jack black is still living in buffalo and Paul red is moved out to LA and he comes home to buffalo for his birthday amazing and that's where they decide to remake anaconda because they find
an old Sasquatch movie that they made when they were kids it reminds me of you and your brothers little videos that you made yeah he's like come back to buffalo man come back to buffalo so they have like buffalo shots they don't really they were just in the house it was just kind of in the house that's where jack black is he's in buffalo yeah yeah that's what they grow up together the whole group and then uh Paul red comes home for the birthday and he finds the old video and then they're like hey we should do this and that's awesome well now you gotta go watch it yeah it's actually you'll enjoy it it's very fun it's very fun um and then what is what happens on this show or what is the show watch what happens live what is that that is one of those things where people watch things and then they comment right so they're they're watching videos of things and they're like oh no this happened i think that's what it is did they watch movies or it just no it's it's like youtube videos and stuff anyway but i've never seen the show but it always shows up as you
know things to watch it's on bravo but if ever there was a time to watch it mm-hmm a man to Pete and john ham will be on the show oh so so what did that does that mean that they are watching something and we're watching their reactions to watching something tell what it is no maybe i'm wrong maybe i'm thinking of something yeah it's an interactive talk show that features guests from the world of entertainment yeah overview let me yeah it's it's Andy Cohen oh huh overview i don't think i ever knew that interactive talk show yeah uh maybe i have the wrong thing he he it's a talk show all right it's just a talk show people and Eric Stoltz was the drug dealer in pulp fiction by the way oh yeah he was great yeah and then what happened well um me uh oh oh oh me well he he had to give her the injection yeah yeah guys spoiler alert okay you've had 25 years yeah you've seen pulp fiction multiple times
no i've never seen it i've never seen pulp fiction what is how is that really it's better out my entire life and i've just i've never seen it i think it was a movie growing up my parents probably didn't allow us to watch obviously and then for good reason something that i've never seen but it is i don't watch very many movies but i have a list of movies and it's right for the top so it's at the top by list but it's a slow move through that list why we got to get through our band is and that whole NBA season now the wmba comes in during the summer so it's and then football is right after you listen to books with your girlfriend i know it's that's i'm booked for people also tonight you have all the nc ish shows and c ish origins and c ish and and c ish Sydney thank you thank you everybody good you got them all late night tonight Jimmy Fallon has Cameron Diaz very good she doing well we're gonna find out
you gotta watch the show tonight i don't want to on NBC Molly it's on NBC uh zendaya we'll be on with Jimmy Kimmel Nathan Lane and Arseneo Hall we'll be on Stephen Colbert and Alexander Skars guard we'll be on with Seth Meyers okay uh you know uh earlier we were talking about the midwest goodbye yeah there's a comedian that does a whole bit on midwest goodbyes okay but we'll play it right all right let's do it sounds like this now there are several steps to a proper midwest goodbye everybody knows the first step you slap your knee and say well by sports but you're not leaving you're gonna be offered a beer and given the tour a midwest home tour goes some like this yeah here's the house let's go check out the garage huh you're like Joe why are we looking at your snowblower it's July get back into the house where you will be offered the leftovers and i know the casserole
was so bad you had to put it plate face down in the garbage so you get the leftovers then they waddle over to the cupboards and they pull out their tupperware which is just a use cool whip container then you gotta walk over to the doorknob and twist it to leave i don't know what it is about a doorknob in the midwest but as soon as you twist it that is when the deepest darkest secrets come out oh you're leaving huh well before you go i just want to ask you have you ever wondered why your brother looks a lot like your uncle that's funny this is bit that is really it takes a long time to say goodbyes yes or you just do the Irish and then you say you just shout out by the way your uncle be your father ok bye they're out all right i think that's all we can do right
i think that's it well there's a lot of people that knew about the uh Eric Stoltson i know i don't know why i didn't get that mask and play oh yes oh god uh oh what uh from the youtube quince impression was of the grinch yes it was the grinch i tried to think of what part i did but because i got really there oh they're saying there's all sorts of good you know with myself can't cancel out again uh six o'clock uh chaters eyes seven o'clock slip slowly into madness uh what else does he say uh he's going through ebonyza abanoo who i hate you hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey loo than entirely hey hey hey double ace
that was there no why is it your camera on for that oh shoot do it again uh that was that is amazing thank you how do the people remember iceman uh zero zero three zero oh yes from the text from the uh youtube text line iceman George Gervin yeah i used to have a poster of him in my did you yeah i love that guy there you are now you're on camera now i'm on camera after my impressions okay just one more time ebonyza tally who i hate you something odd box arvesian who hate you hey tight hey tight hey tight double ace loo than entirely see now we've got two people that you guys both oh this is going to be really good oh i'm watching it back this is awesome and we're all good okay all right i mean sure i need to turn that off all right are we uh we
we got to go right well uh yeah very busy day today oh my goodness let's see what it's time for today oh sun breaths seated thanks no uh so today after i do my regular workout i mean i'm going to slack on that uh it's neck roll chair punches ridge pose chair squat chair warrior pose side leg raises and load us pose you're welcome besides that um they well though um i uh i i am a and i'm going to say not say great deal of pain i'm going to say i'm going to moderate a deal pain uh my my teeth are bothering me this way i'm kind of holding my face all that you get fixed up special we have a meeting here which will be good i'll use the gym here no peeking i'm going to use the chair in the gym and do the thing finish my book start the new book then i have a 130 dentist appointment up on the hill and then i'm depending on what happens there i'm not sure what what that's going to involve i'll either go home and need a nap
or it's a quick fix and it's like okay here's some Tylenol you'll be fine it's going to heal itself everything's great and then i'll go gamble before we yeah before we give away the big car thing tonight but that's the i feel i feel rested in everything it's just it's fatiguing when you've got kind of a thing going on and you could be tired from all the cherry yoga too you me using muscle you haven't used in years that's right actually yesterday when i did the first one of those cactus things it went crack it's pretty good oh this wait eight eight double eight so anyway that will be out at the northern quest yeah think give away tonight i think i think my can is going to come out too oh good okay be a potty can you can he drink yeah yeah so you're going to be his driver yeah i think he yeah he may uber out because i might
want to go out earlier so i can gamble a little and for him there's not a lot to do because you know not a lot to do i suppose i could have gotten a hotel room but that yeah anyway that's it what about you i'll finish up here we'll we'll get the podcast up and loaded and then we have a meeting and then if if it all works out perfect world i'm not normally a napper but a power nap would probably be a good thing for me tonight because i know that the you know we're we're we're on our feet the whole night and it's it'll be a full night it'll be very exciting somebody's going to win either a car or sixty five thousand dollars in cash plus another i'll bet you there's another at least fifteen thousand dollars it's giving away you know and in other prizes yeah so if you're a camis club member we'll see out there at northern quest yeah we'll be out there starting around five forty five six o'clock and the specials i think the specials start at like four maybe even yes and there's stuff going on before we get there so you want to go early get your name in
the barrel because then there's other drawings and stuff and then we draw every fifteen minutes yeah and if it's really fun if you really want to be entertained come and join us it's right in your kids quest that's where prize central is and watch Dave have to read the names oh yes yeah yeah the thing is is there are and it and actually you've been pretty lucky at the last few last there was the maybe first one that we ever did there's a virtual barrel and then name comes out on a little ticket and you only have a split second to really read it and there was a series of events where Dave got every single difficult name and then Ken and I would get George white and Linda you know Smith yeah Smith and then Dave would get just a bunch of consonants x-a-g-n-l-q-m-ya and then it that became a bit like people were all watching to see what name that I would get and then sometimes the name would come up and there'd be an eruption
of laughter and I couldn't even attempt the name but the good news is the names are on display yes so you can you know you don't have to count on us you know but it is very very fun to watch it unfold especially if there's a series of those though but tonight maybe we'll get into all the things because we kind of take turns so yeah anyway yes so 545 yeah and then 12 hours from 545 we'll be back here co-hosting the news with salmon coli yeah I'm gonna try to get here a few minutes earlier I don't know what happened today I was right on schedule I know exactly when I have to leave my house maybe I hit a few lights I don't know it's weird but I'm in a few minutes earlier I think back time it back time it all right thanks for being with us everybody have a wonderful day we're back tomorrow same situation you'll see us on with salmon coli non-stop local the morning news on channel six and then we'll we'll have our show uh Quinn is here you can see us on YouTube you can hear us through the non-stop local app everything is great everything is wonderful
