Crumbsnatchers | The Marinade Episode 194

Guetts and Sma from the band Crumbsnatchers are our guests for Episode 194. Crumbsnatchers hails from Nashville, Tennessee, and boasts a singular sound and a live show that compels devotion. Guetts, the frontman and principal songwriter, has lived a fascinating life whose experiences translate to records that remind of your favorite bands while defying comparison.

We were supposed to catch up with Crumbsnatchers during Bonnaroo 2025, but the weather and the powers that be had other designs. Bonnaroo was cancelled after a magical day and a half during which I had the pleasure of seeing the band twice in a twenty-four hour period.

Thankfully, our paths were destined to connect just a couple days later in Nashville. Guetts invited me over to his house outside Music City and we had a blast talking about the origins of the band, the importance of Bonnaroo to their development, impromptu parties at a certain campground's pool, and so much more!
