Confused Joe Benigno, Boomer's Odd Noise & Knicks Easy Win

Boomer & Gio

About this episode

Joe Benigno was confused by a caller who talked about ‘the herd’ and ‘free thinkers’. Jerry played a clip of an odd noise/laugh Boomer had earlier in the show. The Knicks had no problems with the Wizards at MSG.

i want to take you to find it here the saturday morning show the joe b saturday morning show on the fan oh god yeah this one's right up your alley as uh... this was the intro to one of his i think this was like five twenty five in the morning was early uh... caller wise wise in bayon is not a fan wise how are you i want to share something honest with you independent acres like you know or seen as the threat in the mass media uh... i'm in the real i'll call it is okay this is radio station as so samson should near left of star right so that's the beginning now that starts to explain well i think uh... the herd the heart and what is the herd I mean, free thinker is not even a thinker. So then, Vice tries to teach it to him.

So, I heard all the mass media and the real world. Okay. They don't like free thinkers. That might be 95% of population, though. You think so? You think so? I mean, we're getting very deep here, so you feel that 95% of the population is free thinkers. Is that what you're saying? No. Never mind. You don't ask. This sounded like Eddie and Boomer with the DJ Gourmet. No. No. So then, if Joe wasn't confused there. You're telling me 95% of the population in this country is not a free thinker. Is that what you're saying? No. I didn't say that. Joe takes another shot trying to understand. I don't want to get political here, but you feel that... You feel that 95% of the population are not free thinkers. That's what you're saying. They just kind of go along with the flow, right?

Are we trying to say that? No. No. He's fucking a slamming. This last clip, he explains it to you know when like your kid, you tell your kid to do something and they just guess you and then you ask him, what did I just say? Yeah. They don't know. So, Vice explains it one more time and then challenges you're like he's his kid. 95% of people don't like people who are free thinkers. Right. That's what I said. You know what I'm saying? I get that. Now I understand. Now I get it. You get it now? I do. What did I say Joe? Do you know what I said? Oh my god. This is a guy criticized the radio station. This is what he meant by golden era. Say that again. God. It was funny. It's a balloon head. God. Oh man. Took a while to get through that. By the way, how did this guy like a sesh Joe Beningo and come away that he was a free

thinker? I have no idea. I mean like was he think Joe's like Aristotle? Nobody says dumber things, more rudimentary things than Joe Beningo. My penis look bigger. I mean it really is. This guy was trying to give Joe a compliment about his brain that he could not comprehend. I mean the irony in that is just spectacular. Oh my gosh. What is a herd? I don't know what a herd is. I mean he should know because he lives with like 15 cats and stuffed animals.

I mean if you walked into his house and didn't know that Joe lived there, you would definitely call the cops. You got 15 cats and 37,000 stuffed animals. It wreaks a weed. It's going to be moment of the day which will allow me to do this then. Identify this noise and why. It does like me. So that was after you did your thing with BT, you had the transition to the gamescadaboo story. The Scadaboo doesn't believe CTE is real.

I didn't believe he wanted that transition. That's my off-quarts out. I can tell. Ty and heard that other one in a long time. That is amazing. That's a funny one. When you catch me off-guard like that, that's my thing. That's my automatic reaction. What is more non-human of a sound? Would it be the goal horn?

I'll always come back to the owl. We all have our own sounds. But they don't sound human. You don't sound human sometimes. I didn't say I did. You sound like you're letting the air out of a balloon. Sorry. That's the thing. It's just a natural reaction to something genuine. You can't try to make that sound. When he says something that is completely going to floor me, that's what it's going to sound like. Another one today. Nick's beat the Wizards. 145-13. Carlisth accounts at 26 points and 16 rebounds. His dad's in the hospital and dealing with some stuff. I don't say emotional, but he was really pissed off that he missed those two free-throws against the nets down the stretch in the whole post-game interview. I guess he hadn't been around the team for a couple of days. Supposedly his dad's still in the hospital, but he played well last night in this win

at the Garden. Jalen Brunson at 23. 16 for Josh Hart, like what his team did. I think we just continue to play our style. We have some lapses defensively, but for the most part, we're able to get stops and kind of just play our game. So that's the 47. I will say this. If they can get to the number two seed, that would be a great right-wing or a season. If they just don't want the Celtics to have it, you go get it. Not that it means much, but I think for the regular season to put a nice little cherry on top, that would be it. Yeah, 47 and 25 right now. With that win, a half game behind Boston for that two seed. The nets lost in Sacramento, 126-122. The two goals did beat Boston 102-92, and that was without Anthony Edwards, who did not play in that game. Also of note, you have the spring ending for the meds. They'll play the Pirates on Thursday and their season opener. Yankees opened Wednesday night in San Francisco, but they got two games in Arizona on the way there against the Cubs today and tomorrow.

Jed's beat the Rangers in a shootout, 3-2, and there was not much scoring in the Islander game, but all they needed was one. Here's a chance with four bad hyenas in the neck for Boston. The first shot of the game is a bullet from Baltimore. And that was it. One nothing was the final score. Ilya Sarokin back to the up with 26 saves. The aisle shut out the Blue Jackets by the score of one nothing mentioned. Sarokin hears the head coach Patrick Waugh. Ilya is a person that I think that loves to compete. And he did a really nice job. I mean, it's not easy coming back from, I'm telling you, it's not easy coming back after a couple of losses like we have. But he's show a lot of character and it's one of reason why he's a leader on our team. The islanders in playoff position, but only a point clear of Detroit in golf, Matthew Fitzpatrick won the Val Spar Championship.
