Community Grants Backing Local Initiatives

Community groups are at the heart of towns and villages across County Clare, and thanks to Clare Local Development Company's Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme, 26 organisations have received funding this year to help make an even bigger difference in their communities.     From tackling loneliness and promoting wellbeing to supporting community gardens, social enterprises and inclusive local initiatives, these small grants are having a real impact across the county.     To tell us more, Alan Morrissey was joined by Aisling Halpin, Development Officer with CLDC's Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme.
