Clare Has Second Lowest NCT Pass Rate

New figures show Clare has the second lowest NCT pass rate in the country, with almost six in every ten vehicles tested in Ennis this year recording either a major or dangerous failure.    More than 12,000 motorists have already failed their test, while over 2,000 vehicles were deemed unsafe to return to the road until serious defects were repaired.    So, why is Clare performing so poorly, what are the most common reasons vehicles are failing, and what simple steps can motorists take to avoid an expensive re-test?    Alan Morrissey was joined by Mike McGrath from Safeway Tyres in Ennis to learn more.
