Christine “Mame Core” Baranski (w/ Mike Liebenson)

About this episode

Oh darlings, put a big cap in your feather ‘cause we have a VERY special guest on the pod this week! Comedian, singer, writer, and ‘Hacks’ scene-stealer Mike Liebenson is on the couch to rave about the true utility player of Hollywood. Our Miss Thing has the most famous transantlantic (or somewhere over the Atlantic) accent, is King Princess’ “best friend,” the backbone of ‘Cruel Intentions’, ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘Addams Family Values’, ‘The Gilded Age’ and ‘The Good Fight’, and most importantly is Mike’s phone background — CHRISTINE BARANSKI! In this ep, Mike remembers the time he had the chance to meet Christine and she said the magic words every gay wants to hear, “Hi Mike,” Tim recalls the moment his work-wife saved his ass after a Sean Cody pop up almost ended his career, and Greg looks back on the time his LGBTuncle card was almost revoked. The boys also talk “the world’s tallest bottom,” “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,” Sarah Pidgeon being a brown haired it girl, and The Mayhem Ball. They also talk America’s Next Top Model’s complicated legacy, the biggest indicator of a “f*ck boy,” and ask life-changing questions like, “Have you had s*x to “I Miss You” by Adele?”, “Are you familiar with Eli?”, and “Whatever happened to Janice Dickinson?” So Gennifertias, put your hands up for an episode with TWO showmans and ONE iconic game of “Christine Baranski, Christine Ebersole, or Christine Daaé?” Oh, and always remember… “Naomi Watts is Jackie O.” BONK!!!

Let's be completely honest. Are you happy with your job? The fact is, a huge number of people can't say yes to that. Too many of us are stuck in a job we've outgrown, or one we never really wanted in the first place. But we stick it out and we give reasons like, what if the next move is worse? And I've put years into this place, and maybe the most common one, isn't everyone miserable at work? But there's a difference between reasons for staying and excuses for not leaving. It's time to get unstuck. It's time for strawberry.me. They match you with a certified career coach, who helps you get from where you are to where you want to be. Former contestants to comedian super fans. Yes, honey, so you gotta listen and subscribe to drag her. From Good Get Productions. I don't know. Greg? I thought this was a duet. Oh, this is your excuse to sing all part. Those are not the right sound.

Can you hear me? Bunk. Welcome to Miss Thing. I'm Greg. And I'm Tim. And this is a podcast that celebrates and appreciates the missed things of the past, present, and future. Yeah, in every episode, we take a key moment from our Miss Thing story career and do what you and I are most skilled at. It's what we got our master's degree in, actually. And that's make it all about us. Yes. And today is a huge episode. I'm completely star-struck. It is one of the best people out there. He is a comedian, singer, actor, writer. He just got back from Broadway and my and my and my off Broadway. You know what? For me, you know what? It's definitely that's Broadway. Regardless, he would have flown to New York to star in an off Broadway play.

The coolest thing ever. Okay, you're not being brought in. He is the definition of cool. I mean, a fast, stylish person out there. Fashion icon, hair inspiration. Yes. It's true. I'm coming from you. Literally a huge... Not Tim, but you. Thank you so much. But also, you probably know him from his incredibly like viral videos all over the internet where he's singing incredibly and going ahead and being hilariously funny. Let's just introduce our guest. Our guest is Mike Liebenson. Woo! You can take a guess. Hi, Mike. Did you take a sip? I did take a sip. I'll have a take a sip. So we're going to cheers again. Yes, sure. Bye. By the way, you are the tallest person I've ever known in my life. If you feel safe, can you let us know how tall you are? I am six, five. Yeah. Sometimes six, four. Depending on how my bones feel that day.

Oh my god. Okay, and so really there are taller people. Okay, yeah, tall people. But there are no taller gay men. That's actually the limit, six, five. I guess what, there are taller bottoms. I have looked into this. Wow. As I, as I proudly am. You have the best grinder name. Thank you. Yeah. Can we stand up? Feel free to share what the class is. Well, isn't it world's tallest bottom? It was. And I think I changed it. I don't know. There were taller bottoms. And that's what that felt like false. Right, when they reference Guinness, when we grind a reference Guinness, they actually made you change your name. Yeah, because I got a lot, I know I got served. No, I changed it to big boy, D-O-I. Oh, down arrow. Cute. Yes, thank you. Oh my god. Because that feels true. I am a big boy. I am a big boy down arrow. This actually ties into, you asked me how we, Greg and I were at the same party on Friday night, Miracle of Sun. To me, okay. Yeah, to you. Actually, it might have been you out on Friday. You said you weren't free. You're right, you're right. Yeah, the famous restaurant condor

in Silver Lake, which is RIP. It's closing. RIP. So it was the last, Miracle, so you'll never get to go to this party. Yeah. Incredible party. Really fine. It is a really very good music at and love condor. My favorite restaurant in the world cannot eat the food there and cannot even drink margarita there. And you guess what? You won't have to. You won't have to go in here. But I told Greg, I met, I met a guy out Friday night, which was like big for me because I am actually, I'm off Grindr right now. Okay. I'm off hinge. Okay, I have Ryan, but I'm only matching with guys that live like Tokyo or more. Oh, okay. Bright. I mean, it's really easy. You're just paying $30 out of your pocket every month. It took me so far. Okay. It took a lot to focus on and then send a few nudes and then never talk to them again. Fabulous. Okay. Currently doing that with an Australian doctor right now. Well, if it's on Australian, they're probably in town. Wait, can you send nudes on, Ryan? No, but then you switch. It switches to his town. And then you send where you famously have nudes on his. Why, you just send a, you send a disappearing? Of course. Yeah, it disappears right now.

Right now. I'm sure you do. Yeah, he doesn't read them. Yeah. But, okay, so I met this guy and I was proud of myself because I like me. It was very like, he actually was wearing this. I was wearing this kingle hat and he was like, you look like JFK Jr. And I was like, okay, perfect way to pick me up. Also, that was my reference. I was watching all four episodes of Love Story over that week. But lately, I'm fully not in my head as if I knew that that was called a kingle. Never once. It's literally sesame. Oh, kingle. I was like, that was like a, got it. I thought it was literally this style of hat. And it was like, it is time to do it. It's kind of like Kleenex tissue. It's like, that's the New York in you. I feel like New York is so kangle-coated. The six months of New York in here. Okay, we're going to get all of it. Of course we are. Of course we are. Of course we are. Okay, basically, so we're flirting. He's like, right, he's grabbing my arm. It's like clearly flirty and he kind of looks familiar. And then he's like, I gotta go find my friends. I'm proud of myself. Right before I leave, I go up to him, I go, Hey, I'm leaving, but it was really nice to meet you. Uh-huh. I thought it perfect little, like, it opens the door if we want to exchange something

or it's just like nice to meet you too. He's like, wait, what's your Instagram? And like we start talking. It's like very flirty. He's touching me. We exchange Instagrams and start making out. It's fantastic. Oh, that's beautiful. I'm like halfway out the door at this point. Or, I'm leaving. You're like, I'm leaving. Well, I was that thing of like, I'm leaving, but make me stay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do you know what it's like? It's like, I'm leaving, but make me stay. And he made me stay for like 30 minutes. We made out for like 20 minutes. And it was great. Okay. And he was like, this is what you're going to do. You're going to DM me, your number. I'm going to text you. And you're going to ask me on a date. And we're going to date. So hot. Wow. I go to DM him when I get to my car. I realized that reason he looks familiar. No. I saw him post a listing on Facebook Marketplace where he was shirtless. In the mirror, he was selling. Oh my god. I believe that's actually saying, Hey, I'm not interested in your mirror, but I think you're really cute. No, you never saw that message. So I, of course, was like, LOL to this message

and then sent to my number. Uh, literally. So we were talking about it. I guess it can work in the sense that someone might respond to and you might never see the message. You know what I mean? You put that energy out there. And so then he probably like thought you were familiar looking and then he had to hang out. Yeah, and wouldn't that be a cute, like cute beginning love story? But listen, that's how you know he's a fuckboy. You know they're a fuckboy if they're all up on Facebook Marketplace, posting them something else. And you know what I'm realizing is the biggest fuckboy sign? He said to me, he's like, you're not going to like be one of those L.A. guys that just like flakes on me. And then he flaked on me. He left me on right. And I'm like, that should be the biggest indicator of a fuck, whenever you go, you're not going to do that to me, are you? Yeah. They're about to do it to you. Biggest projector is on the planet. L.A., you know, that's where we are. This is the city of projection. Yeah. I'm so sorry. Hey, sometimes you get left on red and you're just going to stop. You know what? Mentally for a week. And that's okay. Um, I think it's time, though, to get to our first famous segment.

Dog mom sauce, A-K-A, doll of the day, mother of the moment, sister of the second. Our first and most famous segment, where we take a person, place or thing that we are currently super obsessed with. Yes. And I will happily go first. Please. Because I have been dying to talk about this on the podcast. It came out the day we last recorded, and you wanted to bring it up. Hadn't heard it yet. My dog mom sauce is white feather, hawk tail, deer hunter. Oh, okay. I know this might be a controversial take. It's that root, it's the RuPaul's Drag Race sound. The cork, cork, cork, cork. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the rattlesnake. It is everything. It is Fantasia. It's like Snow White. I feel like it is the ultimate incantation. Whoopsie Daisy you who has broed itself into my brain. Greg has been texting me that. I enjoy Lana, and I do like, I'm a fair weather Lana, unfortunately. Well. And Greg is sort of like a die hard. She's your number one. She is my number one. She's your Gaga.

Yeah, it's, it's, well, she's, she's in a different playing field than the Gaga's and the Britney's and all that, because she is just, to me, she's like my Taylor Swift. Yeah, sure. Okay, so this is what I love most about that song. Is that Lana, she refuses to do anything to be liked. If you're a fair weather Lana, you're not going to like this song. If you are a hardcore Lana, you're going to love it. And you're going to love what she's done. But like, oh my god, every time it comes on, I cannot stop. I'm fully like, I'm a skeleton, like jangling my bones. Yeah, full incantation. Like doing prayer, like speaking in tongues, I just love it so much. I'm obsessed. I mean, she's, she's doing something different. I think she's reinvigorated and I can't wait. I'm afraid to out myself. Please go for it. I've never connected with Lana. That's okay. I know and I want to. Not even like kind of the popier ones, like young and beautiful. Sure, it's like one of those things of a same with like Taylor's head. It's like, I don't connect with Taylor Swift either.

Yes, my god, I'm about, why am I like that? No, no, I'm creating a lot of that. It's right now. I famously do not connect with Taylor. I will send you a playlist because like, you need the right way. My friend Laura Pollock has done this already. Taylor Swift songs. I've had Lana's song sent to me too, but I would love to, I would love to hear it. He actually has to really play this. Yeah, I will give you only, only the good ones. Like because the thing with Lana is also the production and then when you're like, you start listening to the lyrics, I think it took people a long time to catch on with like Norman fucking Rockwell was the first one where I felt like everyone was like, oh wait, is she actually a genius? I think Lana is, she's, she has the SNL performance. That's what actually drew me off, of course. Because I'm such, I'm obviously a, I'm a showman. Yeah, I'm a performance performer. Okay, literally. That is Greg's literal phrase that he always says. Showman's on the couch. I know, I'm scared. So my legs are shaking.

My knees are out of control. Well, okay, but I've been talking long enough. What's your dog mom's house? Okay, well, you guys can, for the Jennifer, she has who are watching on YouTube. Again, watch on YouTube because you're only getting famously out the story. Yeah, and you need to see Mike's outfit. Yeah, and you have to see Mike's outfit. Are my glowing shoes? Yeah, of course. See my glowing shoes. I went to my ham last night. Oh, it was. Okay, obviously Gaga is my girl. I've seen her six times. I am not kidding you. This is the best I've seen her since 2010. Wow. I am mild. Like I, her voice is incredible. And specifically, my dog mom's house is, when Gaga says, put your hands up. But everyone else can't get away with it. I understand when Lord tells us that she's over. All of us putting her hands up. But when Gaga says it, and let me tell you, Gaga says that more than she sings. Oh, God.

It is literally for me. It gives me life. There's only one person in the entire world who can tell me to put their hands up. And I will do it. And it is Lady Gaga. I mean, talk about incantation. I mean, she literally has to spell over all of you. Truly. And I literally think, by the way, her next single should be called Put Your Hands Up. Because I was like, you'd say it all the time. It literally will be your next applause. Like, you've already done the old stuff. Now, let's go into your early mid-career and reheat those. No one calls. Yeah, literally. He needs to get in her ear right now. You get in his ear. Like, she's never looked better. Her voice. She did a stripped-down version of hair. And if she's done that before. But it was because they're filming for the concert film last night. It was in, you guys will see it when the concert film comes out. Incredible. She did like another cool live performance of paparazzi. It felt like old Gaga. It was fucking incredible. And I went into it being like, oh, like, I've seen her six times.

Like, she famously, my favorite concert I've ever been to, is the Lala Paloza concert in Chicago. Yeah. And like, nothing can touch this. And I was like, this is actually a better performance, though. Like, that is just nostalgia. And the sense of like, nothing will ever stop, like, taught me being 20 and seeing her headlining in the fame monster era. But this concert last night, I was like, this is such a, like, cap in her feather. It's like, everything from the show is like... Cap in her feather. What's the feather in her cap? It is, it is. It's kind of like beautiful. I like that visual. I know. I like feather wearing a cap. Yeah. Exactly. I think that's what makes Gaga so special is that she does things so differently. And that's, I'm actually, this is, that's the title of her next album. Yeah. I'm just like teasing. I've talked about it a lot. Yeah. So I was supposed to see Mayhem back in Lassa. I guess, yeah. This is hard to hear. But then I... Off Broadway called. Okay. Off Broadway called. And I almost turned it down. Is it sorry?

I'm supposed to see Gaga in August. I don't know if I can make this work. Yeah. But lo and behold, I did, I did accept the offer and I did go to New York for six months and missed my ticket here. That we got obviously like city bank presale. Of course. We fought to the nail for. Yeah, last throw. Had to give it up. Yeah. Give it up too. I think I gave it to Franco. If you're watching Franco, you're welcome. I love you. I'm happy you went in my stead. Lily, my best friend's created a group chat. Yeah. Without me, my two girls. Oh, yeah. And my two closest gaze created a group chat with me in it. Yeah. Just to make me suffer. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a torture with you in it. That's... Yeah. I think they thought it would be like help me feel closer to it. After like, hey, we're getting ready. We're pre-game. Yeah. As I'm like upstairs, like an understudy not doing anything. As much as I was going on. I don't know if we said that you were... The play was called Ginger Twinsies. Yes. Huge like work. Like, I feel like I don't know anything famously about Broadway or even off Broadway. And the amount of times I was hearing stuff about this play is like...

You can tell that I was like, oh, this is like the fact that you were even... Even though whatever in my mind, you were the lead. They sure was. And you were the lead, of course. I was like so proud. I was like, oh my god, this is Mike's play that I'm hearing about. And I don't hear about anything. I just found out about Hamilton. That's my rep spinning it really well. Yeah, yeah. That's my publicist. Yeah. We are your publicist. Yeah. No, but I've missed it, obviously. And I wanted to go to New York, but tickets were obviously like $700. And then this time around, they're still like, they were still like $300. Yeah. I'm just like, I give it a lot. Give us a break. Yeah. It was better than the recording for everything. Like, she did Alejandro from a balcony. You might have seen the videos. Yeah. It is fucking incredible. And the sense of like, she sounds exactly like that. Also just being able to mimic the like, how her voice changes. It is. It's like literally anything. He's like just talking out. That's where I'm going to go over here. I'm like, keep going. Yeah. Yeah. Anyways, you guys have to go. Even though I saw the last night, I just want it's going to be filmed. You will be able to see this. Oh, I was the last night. You're going to see. You will see this hair performance.

It's going to blow your mind. And otherwise, I really do think this is her highest cursing tour ever. And I really feel like she's going to go eight billion days. Yeah. Oh, my goodness. Let's get to it. Let's get to it. Yeah. Yeah. Who is your Gaga? Who is your like main pop girl? So it is Gaga. It is Gaga. But technically, there is one above her. And it's not a, it's not groundbreaking. Okay. It's a Dell. Oh my God. It's a Dell. Oh my God. Oh my God. It's a Dell. Oh my God. Oh my God. It's a Dell. It's a Dell. Oh my God. It's a Dell. It's a Dell. Oh my God. It's a Dell. Oh my God. Why? Okay. What is it about a Dell? I think it's that per... I'm a sucker. I mean, I'm a theater kid. I come from the world of musical theater. I'm such a sucker for like a powerhouse voice. Yeah, of course. And I think it's one of the best vocalists of our time of all time. Yeah. Mixed with... I think the songwriting. I think it's also like I'm a sap for just like a heartbreak.

Yeah. A heartbreaking melody that I can just scroll to the top of my lungs. Right. So all of her songs, all of her lyrics, I also think like there's... I've experienced so much versions of like unrequited love, heartbreak that like she's always resonated with me in like every era of her career. Yes, yes. Even the last album I went through a break up at right after 30. Yeah. And to be loved, I listened to... Oh my God. Oh my God. It made me like snot coming down my nose, like sobbing in the car, like hitting my chest as I scream at losing my voice because I'm like, this is my ink. This is my ink plantation. Oh totally. I feel like she really put her foot in that one. Yeah. To be loved. But right before the album came out and she released that video on Instagram. I know. Like singing it in full. And like it's like the only time she'll ever sing it. Live. Yeah. Because it's so hard and emotional for her. Oh God. But so like... Yeah. She's my number one. Also I think she is one of those celebrities, those pop star divas that like she is so real.

Yeah. Like filtered. You want to hang out with her? You want to get drunk with her? You want to go to a drag show with her, Jennifer Lawrence? Yeah. Oh. Literally. I always famously, I'm fairly well, depending on Taylor, Gaga, Adele, or like the three, and depending on which concert I've been to, I say that's my favorite. But when I went to Adele for the first time, I was like scared for... And I'll get into it on another episode. But like it was one of those things where I was like something entered my body. And I was scared for everyone around me. Literally like back up. Yeah. And I'm sorry. It's... I went to her last Vegas residency show. Oh, I'm so jealous. Wait, her very last? Her very last. She also announced that she's like taking a break. Yeah. Like it was just... It was one of the best nights. It was the most I've ever paid for. I was like anything. Yeah. And my natural next question for you. Yeah. And Greg's going to be so shocked by this question. Have you had sex too? I miss you. I am. I'm assuming one of you have? One of us has had sex too.

That's all. Many times. No, actually I've tried to make it happen. Which is it is famously Greg's favorite fact about me. He always brings that up. Is that on my sex playlist for a while, I always tried to make I miss you happen. And unfortunately none of my boyfriends would go for it or partners or whatever. And Greg, anytime Adele gets brought up maybe like three seconds later, he goes, Jamie, I have to tell him about it. I don't think I could have sex to her. I don't want to have sex to her. Not a single one of her songs, but I miss you on top of that. I remember when that album came out and he was like, it's the sexiest song I've ever. And it was kind of like a little bit of like this. And I just would never imagine how I feel. Whatever that song comes on. And imagining a string of mine. Yeah. As you think. My precious co-host, Tim. Having sex to that song. We lose whole co-hosts. One day, one day I'll come, like bushy tail, bright eyed, come to the podcast. And I'll be like, guess what I listened to last night. Because it still hasn't really happened for me.

I've tried. Is it Pavlovium now? Like when you hear it all of a sudden you get so horny. Yeah. Anyways, we need to move on. Yes. We need to know what your top mom saw says. Or it could have already been, you know, if it wasn't now. Yeah. Adele is the potential. Yeah. She's like this thing. Yeah. I'm straddling between two. Yeah. Whichever one lights you up more. Yeah. We can go off of. Yeah. But I think it's either Sarah Pigeon who is Carolyn Bessette in love story. Yeah. J.F.K. Jr. Carolyn Bessette. Okay. I just think she is, she is about to be everywhere. Okay. Everything. She's so good. I know her from the real Stereophonic. Stereophonic. Stereophonic. Oh. No, but she's in Stereophonic as well. Like she's, she also, she's in the wild. She's been in a bunch. Yeah. I know you did last summer the reboot. Yeah. She's just like, who was she in that? She is like the brown hair. She's like the brown hair girl. Oh, okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to tell you her character. Okay. But she's blonde in this.

I have not seen love story. And I've heard incredible things. And who weekly talks about this, one of my favorites. Yeah. It's one of those examples of like, she went blonde. Yeah. And it's true. Like a haircut changed. Her life. Yeah. Like she really does look like Carolyn Bessette. She's such an unbelievable actress. She's so sexy. She just has it. I was going to say, I haven't, I'm, again, I need to watch love story. I actually do. It's like, I've been out of the Ryan Murphy camp for a while. And this is the first one where I was like, oh, I actually really do want to. Very untouched by him. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I've heard as well. I like it has nothing to do with that. Also, it's like, it's like 90s chic New York. It's Indochine. Yeah. It's Hodeon. It's like chic minimalist like peak Calvin Klein. Right. It's like, it's just, there's a young actress playing a young Annette Benning in a fitting. A iconic scene from the first episode. Okay. She's getting dressed for the Bugsie premiere. Okay. Love that. Love Bugsie. Oh my god. Wow. That's a really time and place. And they're like, is Warren going to be there?

It's unbelievable. But her or, I don't know if you've talked about her before, but Eli. Are you familiar with Eli? Oh, she has a billboard on Sunset. Yes. She is. No, please speak on this. This is important education. She is, I think, like, she is your, I'm very chopper on it, but I think she is, like, your favorite pop star, favorite pop star. Okay. She is so unbelievable. Okay. Her album is Louis Noeskips beginning to end. Okay. Okay. I thought it was called Girl of Your Dreams, but like, it's, it's very early 2000s. Yeah. Bedroom pop. Yeah. Done to perfection. Okay. So, I don't know what else to say. She has three shows at the Bob Baker Married at Theater. That, that was like a one woman musical. That was of her songs. Yeah. She had Demi Lovato. She had Zara Larson show up. Oh. Like, she has the girls turning out for her. This makes so much sense because honestly, I famously think of you are my friend that is you were the first person who played chopper on to me.

Wow. Like, there are people I was next to. I feel like you saying this now, Eli, I'm sure that she will blow up. She already has. Yeah. But I'm always in a sense of like, I'm just learning about you. You have a glitter? No. You should feel like glitter. We're at the club. Okay. You should be a baby. No, you're a baby sitter. No. It's my hardest flutter. Yeah, I know. This is you sound fabulous. Absolutely. And I have absolutely less. You're a version of it tonight. No. You guys better. Also, she has crazy like falsetto range. Well, I think you just unlocked something on the podcast because like Eli will most definitely be our missing next week. Yeah. I feel like you are. You too will love her. Yeah. Love her. And I was going to say about Sarah Pigeon. I have obviously I love watching press stuff. That's like a weird how I like zone out. I cannot get to him on the phone. Yeah. And yeah. And he's watching hours and hours and hours. And I'll just watch press. To me, I don't know. And maybe this is just a very basic comparison. I was like, is she about to be like the next Gwenf?

Like, she feels very Gwenf coach. Once again, I think she's like, she's from the theater world. I think she's like a smart, smart girl who happens to be an unbelievable actress as well. Yeah. And looks like that. Everyone I know is watching the show. Yeah. And every, that's like the first thing that's coming out of everyone's mouth. Like a show where Naomi Watts is in it and you don't even really hear about her performance. Naomi Watts is Jackie O. Right. Literally Jackie O. Put that on my tune. Yeah. Naomi Watts is Jackie O. Put that in your comments. If you watched this episode. Yeah, yeah. She sure is. And Margaret quality is honey. Don't pay me for our other comment. Okay. And with that, it's time for a break. We're back and it's time for our Miss Thing of the Week. This one is huge. I mean, this woman is kind of the backbone of the industry. Of course. She can do it all. That's a theme of this episode. Just like our guest, she is literally a theater actress, a stage queen, and by stage, I mean, all types of stage. Well, all the world is a stage. So, our Miss Thing of the Week is Christine Bransky. Mother. Yes, the famously Mike's background on his phone. Diane Lockhart. Yeah, I'm really bad at changing my phone background, and she has been my phone background. I'm really bad if you did, actually. Well, she was my phone background for like three years. Yeah. Briefly entered a relationship, psychosis of making my background my relationship.

Of course, this one does. Yeah. And then I was like, you know what? Let's just do a reset. And I went back to Christine and I just, it's there. Christine and what era? I couldn't, it's giving like post-ciple like late 90s, early 2000s. Some sort of publicity shot. Yes. And this gorgeous long dress with a slit. And then this is so funny. I added to the photo because my friend Ellie... Eli. To my friend Ellie. To my best friend Ellie. She was like, you know what? Whenever I grab my phone, I have the compulsion to look at it. I always ask myself, why now? What for? There's a third one. Basically, and what now? Oh. And you're supposed to ask yourself that as you look at your phone. Like, why am I checking it? What is it for? And what am I going to do now? Am I going to still go on? You add that. Yeah. To the photo in the black dress. So every time I look at it, it does say that. But that is actually kind of iconic because I could see her in some sort of ad that's like, why now? What now?

Yeah. Yeah, her asking you that. That'll get you to work. What's for? And that's what I was saying. Yeah. What now? Literally, her voice is... I mean, she is carrying the transatlantic accent, I think. Mid-Atlantic? Whatever it is. Is she somewhere over the Atlantic? Yeah. She spans the Atlantic. Yeah. Place high above us in that register. I mean, think about her. I feel like she has been like the true utility player of Hollywood. That's a perfect way to describe it. Because she's just... Yeah. Everyone knows who she is. And even if you're not like a TV watcher, like you know her from the stage, or like she's been in everyone's favorite movie of all genres, like she was in cruel intentions. Yeah. She was the seal's mother. I mean, Adam's family values. Oh. Bird Cage. Mama Mia. Dr. Seuss. Or whatever. Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss.

What is it called? How the Grinch. So Christmas. How the Grinch. But our thing is called Dr. Seuss. But wasn't that... The live actress basically called the... Like, was it called Dr. Seuss? The Grinch. I think. I think it was probably... It's impossible to... It's impossible, no. We could never look it up. No. God, no. But you're so right. It's like... No matter what you're into as a movie watcher, she is in... She's been there. Yeah. And then... She has been there. She has been there. She's done it. But not... And then she got a spin-off. I mean, she was on the good wife. Then got a spin-off for several years. The good fight. Like, that basically kept Paramount Plus a float. Yeah. That was my... I think Diane Lockhart was my, like, gateway. Yeah. Into... Because obviously, I've seen her things. But, like, that was, like, who is this deity that is... I mean, she also very much, like, is my mom in a lot of ways. I was... Yeah. She could play my mom. Yeah. Like, I think that's... I saw... I sort of felt an eternal connection to her. Literally?

That's so funny. I was gonna say to me. It's like, she is the mom that is so... Like, sturdy, a little bit scary, but also kind of, like, soothing. Like, you want her affection, but you also know she's gonna push you to, like, do your best work. There's something about her. Yeah. And that's why I love the Gilded Age. I'm obsessed with the Gilded Age. And literally, like, the thing that I love the most about it is it gives her... They cast her, basically, in the Maggie Smith role of Down Abby, where it's just, like, this... She just exists to, like, scene steal every scene that she is in with, like, such a funny blow to the scene. And it's, like, there's such a reverence that Julian Fellows bestows upon her as, like, you are my star. Like, you are the one that, like, that cast is obviously stacked with, like, 20 huge character actors. And she is the character actor of Character Actors. Like, and the fact that he is, like, giving her that makes me so, like, yeah, damn straight.

Christine Bransky should get that honor. Well, it feels like, yeah, it feels like she's weirdly, like, had that honor throughout, like, throughout time. And yet, like, every time she's given it, again, it feels fresh. Yes. And that's, like, because she is so dynamic and interesting and, like, you... She's always kind of, like, second on the call sheet. Yeah. Or a little lower, so, I think, like... The backbone. It is utility player. It is, like, she's holding it up. Yeah. She's holding up the production. Yeah. I do see her. I can see you being a descendant of her bloodline, for sure. Thank you. Thank you so, so much. You have all the skills. And also, like, do we... I mean, are we aware of the sort of thing with her... I mean, are we aware of the sort of thing with her in King Princess? Oh, yeah. We have you right now. You know, King Princess. Your best friends. But they're, like, randomly going to events together. People thought they were dating. Wait, but... Wait, what is her? I don't know her personal life. See, and it's also, like, that's the perfect level of famous to me. We don't know. Yeah. Even if it's out there, we don't really know. But it's, like, those who know, know, and would only go up to her because they know and love and respect her.

Totally. You know what I mean? Or wouldn't even go up to her because they respect her. Yes. That's that perfect level of... You know who she is. You know that face. Even if you don't know her name. One thousand. She can probably exist in this world. Mm-hmm. Yeah. I'm sure she takes a car everywhere. She is. Mother takes a car everywhere. She is so car-service on call. And, like, they wait. And they wait. She goes into a restaurant and the car is waiting when she comes out. I mean, famously... I don't know. Do you watch the old age? No. You need to. I don't watch the old age. But I didn't say you should. And it's my favorite show. I've never seen it. Yeah. He always does. Yeah. And of course, I love it. Couldn't talk about it. Show more than Guilda Day's. Haven't seen it for a while. One time, I did see her live on stage. I saw her in... At City Center in Follies. Oh! She's in the video. And she did. And she did. I'm still here. Yep. I've seen the video. Yes. Brought down the house. I can't even... I mean... I mean... In the color purple. Brought that... Yeah.

In her in the color purple. Yeah. Wait. This is actually such an incredible segue. I have a game for you. Wait. I can't wait for the game. Give me a little hint. Wait. I met her. Oh! Yes. Wait. How would you be able to tell me... Okay, you're going to make it all about yourself. Perfect. Go, go, go. My one little encounter with her. Yeah. It was during the pandemic. I was a writer on Fairfax Season 2 on Amazon. Stream it now. Yeah. And my wonderful boss is Aaron Teddy and Matt. They knew I was such a fan. They knew she was my phone background. Yeah. All of the above. She was recording a guest star role in Season 1. And they said, Mike, it's a Zoom recording session. Do you want to join the Zoom recording session? And you can just watch us work with Christine. And I said, absolutely 1,000%. I would love nothing more. You're making my day. I teared up. Obviously. Oh my God.

I got on. I just expected to get to watch. Yeah. And then they said, Mike, turn on your camera. Christine, this is Mike. Mike's one of our really talented writers. He's a big fan of her. She goes, hi, Mike. Oh. You were channeling. You were channeling. You were channeling. Yeah. And then I got to watch her. And it was only like, and she was such a pro. And then she said, Mike, if you continue your camera. Thank you. You're distracting me. Yeah. Yeah. She was such a pro. She was in and out there like less than an hour. And like, I have videos. I wish I could show you guys right now, but we're using my phone. Yeah. Behind the scenes. Yeah. Do not talk to us on our own. Sorry. Yeah. But I have videos of her little. They're like, all right. And can you just give us a few gasps? She'll go, ah. Ah. She would give the range of the gas. Oh my God. She would give or the range of a laugh. She would give you. Yeah. It was truly like watching Picasso paint. Paint. There's that Atlantic. The Meg East West Atlantic.

She's giving. She feels like a British trained American actress. Yep. I was craft. You know, she says craft at least 30 times. The craft at least 30 times daily. Oh, craft. That is also like, you are going to live one year longer because of that. That is something like every gay man. She said my name. Yeah. Oh. Yeah. It's like the opposite of they say like, if you like smoke a cigarette, you're going to live like three seconds less. Oh, that's what they say for every past what they say. That's what they say. And what I say is if you have a zoom with Christine Bransky, you live for a year longer. Yep. So that's my Christine story. That is incredible. I think, yeah. I think about it all the time. To be in the presence of greatness. Like, you were truly. Overzoom. Overzoom. Yeah. But honestly, like, overzoom, that's like, it's actually safer that way, I think. Like, behind glass. You don't know what you would have done in real life. Like, you probably would have gone to jail if you saw her in real life. I think I would have blocked out. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you're like, do I kiss her hand? Yeah. Like, I don't want to make this too weird, but like. I want a curtsy.

I don't want to. Yeah. Yeah. She would have like made some weird comment maybe about the curtsy. And like, you'd be thinking about it a lot. So like, hi, Mike is good. I was perfect. It was all I needed. Yeah. And I have it. I have it right here forever. You can do that. Yeah, exactly. And all my phone, your last memory is right before. I'll show you after. I'll show you after. That's actually huge. She's telling this story on a podcast today. Yeah. Yeah. Lord knows I get to that place where she's like, you know, I met him once on a Zoom. Look, okay, we'll say this. I don't mean to brag. The craziest thing that's happened to me is I was on an episode of Hacks. Yeah. And it was a one day shoot. And it was with Jean Smart. And I was obviously so excited to be here. It was also the day after the election we shot. So it was a crazy day, vibe-wise. Like, it was, couldn't, the vibes couldn't have been lower. And we're supposed to be in a fake A club. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe say, by the way, I will just say, Mike is the best. Like for Hacks is like the funniest comedy out there right now. And you, your part in that thing to is one of them.

I want to say of that season one of the most memorable things because you give. As deranged fan. Deranged fan who gives. Debra Poppers. Most impactful performance I've seen all year. Give me 10 seconds. I'll make it feel like a lifetime. So good, Mike. Literally, I was like, this is, you took every second that you were on screen. This, honestly, you should have been on it for best guest actors. It kind of felt like they wrote that part with you and mine. Well, they needed someone tall because Jean's very particular, I think, about, like, height. They needed a tall lot of them. They're tall, specifically. A private popper. Rosalind Poppers with precision. Yeah. You're the only one in Hollywood, actually. That's what they say. You can't be both in Hollywood. You're the only one that has. I am the only one. But I finally got to be here and she comes up to me and she goes, I am such a fan. Before I could say anything, she goes, I'm such a huge fan. From my naming things videos on TikTok. And I just was like, Jean, I'm such a huge fan. Like, I named stupid little appliances.

You are Jean Smart. She's like, you should name Wicks. She's like, you should name Wicks next. Oh my God. She started pitching me things to name. Those videos are the best. You walking around New York. New York was like the best place for you to do that. There was almost too many options. Yeah. To name. At once. I just stopped, honestly, for a while, because. But it's also that you leave them wanting more. Yeah, sure. Exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I always leave them more than the strategy. It's just like, everything I do online is extremely intentional and strategic. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Even though low-performing videos, I want them to low-perform so you have sympathy for them. Yeah. Totally. Those are the best ones. Yeah. I'm the leading views. Yeah. Yeah. That's a rough view. That's right, actually. I'm speaking of intentional. And I'm going to get into my. Please. I make Christine all about me. Mm-hmm. Which I am going to, what I think of her, I was going to think of. The good fight. Sort of in my mind when she really exploded to.

Cultural consciousness in a way like never before. And to me, I feel like, you know, that show, the good, the good wife. Everything and about that, I just think of wives. And I think of my work wives. And I'm sitting on the couch. I haven't actually said it. We met working on Q4s. Everyone go watch it. The number one show on Netflix. Yeah, everyone remember. Yeah, exactly. Started it all. It's in a different way. In a different way. Yeah. So, and Greg is like my famous OG work wife. So, you would think, you would think I would tell a story about one of you. But I'm not. Oh, no. Okay. Well, yeah. This is typical for the cast. I'm, there was a time when I was working on a show. And I was with another work wife of mine. And I know that you guys would have done the same thing in this story. Which is, I was a writer's assistant at the time. Which famously, if you're a writer's assistant, they hook up your laptop. Like you're sitting at a conference table. And they, you have to take notes for everyone in the room. And then you hook up your laptop so that it is projected onto a TV monitor.

So, everyone can see your laptop. It's the most glamorous job in the world. Exactly. And I shared that with another writer's assistant. Who? How two writers' assistant? I am sure. Exactly. Two writers' assistant. We would switch off half and half of the day. Back when Hollywood would. Yeah. Has back when the room could be 14 people. In now there's two, two people in a room allowed. No, man. Hey, I writer. No, it's just Mike White. You can actually show. Right. Mike White and Tyler Perry. Literally. So, I'm, we're doing it. And I've been writing for a while. And then at a certain point, everyone goes on their break. And so, I'm the only one in the room with the other writers' assistant. She goes to, like, to leave. So, it's just me. I minimize the, like, dock that we're in. And what pops up on the screen is a Sean Cody porn thing. Like, that was, like, clearly I had. Not X-to. I had not. Well, it was one of those things where, like, whatever I watched before I got to work, pop-ups had happened. Oh, no.

And I just closed my laptop. And then, I'm freaking out because it's like, oh, my God. But as soon as I saw that it was there, the writers started returning. So, I had to just, like, bring up the document. So, I knew that there was this Sean Cody. And for any of the straight genophersias, it's just gay porn. It was on the background of my. And I was, like, whole, and obviously the most, like, it was, you know, visceral. I can't remember what the image was, but it was, like, a gif. And I was just, like, great. This is going to be my downfall. I'm fucking freaking out. By the way, on the, like, the Wi-Fi, the company's Wi-Fi all day, you're porn, like, right? Yeah. Literally. I, getting everyone's information, like, just steal everyone's information. Exactly, Tim's Sean Cody. If it was me, it honestly, like, the sound would have started playing. Well, honestly, and then I was also, like, embarrassed. It's like, Sean Cody, that's so based, like, that's like that. That is so bad. But it's very, you code it. That was not so bad. It was just, you've popped up.

You've screamed Sean Cody in my love. Thank you so much. I'm going to take that as a compliment. I, and so I'm bringing out, and so then I'm texting under the table while typing. Carolyn, the writer's assistant, and I'm like, hey, like, I, I was, like, told her what was happening. And she was like, don't worry, I got you. Oh, God. This is what, why you need a good work wife in your life. So then she was like, hey, guys, I'm so sorry. But Tim needs to send a document to the studio. So we're going to switch out his laptop with my laptop. Sorry, one second. So then I unplugged my thing. She took over. She plugged in hers. I then got to exit out. And then she was like, and then after like five, I was like, oh, I sent the email. Like, I can step back in. And then literally, no one was the wiser. No one ever found out. And that is why you need a work wife in your life to save your fucking ass. And this also makes me think to do this thing last week. I was with another work wife, Greg. We were on the bottom.

This is like a very important thing that I wanted to bring to the pod. I think with every work wife, I'm sure that you were doing this with me as well. At certain points, like, you're doing so many things that you have to give your phone. Like, hey, can you like, like, can you just like send this on my phone? I'm doing something. Because I don't know. We were editing. And I was literally like, at some point you, we need to send an email. And Greg, I gave my phone to Greg. I was sending an email. And then you were like, the thing that you know elevates from just gay friend to gay best friend. He goes, wait, is it cool for me to look at your camera roll? You have to ask. You have. You never, you truly? Sorry. You never know. You never know if you were just posting on Facebook, marketplace, a photo of you. Yeah. And a mirror. No, I think that's the only way to treat your gay best friend. It's like, you have to ask. If photos are involved, and also before you swipe even, like, even looking at the camera roll, it's like, you're seeing one photo. Yeah. Can I go left or right? Yeah.

What's also like, the IRL version of that is also like, when you decide to finally go to like, the spa with your, with your camera rolls. Yes. Where it's like, are you ready to see my penis? Yeah. You're actually my bits and bobs. Uh-huh. Yeah. Because I've been waiting to show you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Go ahead. Yeah. Well, anyways, to get into my Christine Brands' story, well, first of all, I've always felt like an incredible kinship to Christine, mostly because she is born the day after me. That's insane. That's true. Same here. So what's time? Taurus. I may want. Okay, she's may too. My favorite sign. Really? Yeah. And I don't even have many Tauruses in my life. Yeah. But for some reason it's the sign I'm like, if you tell me you're a Taurus, I'm all of a Sunday. Oh. Oh. And I'm a Taurus Cusp. Cusp. You have the same birthday as my mother. Yeah, yeah. It's great. Greg always says I am his mother, which is like, I don't know how to take. But anyways, I love Christine. Yeah. She's always been huge for me.

Sorry, and Folly's. But to me, Christine is so like, everyone's like rich and. Yes. Yes. Exactly. Very main core. It's like, but in everything, she's like, always the rich, rich Anne, like you, Mama, Mia, everything. So, yeah, I don't think she's ever played poor. I don't think she's, she's. But that's the one where she can't play poor. So when I was home for the holidays this past year, my nephew has recently gotten into theater. So he's like, been doing the plays. And it's just been, it's been very exciting for me to like share this with him. Yeah. So, and we're like my families in New Jersey. So we can take, it's an easy train ride in. So I decided like for the holidays, I was going to get him tickets to a show. And we were going to go together. What show? We went to see spelling bee. Oh, darling. Yeah. I felt like. Christine overtook your body there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You were being so good.

Oh, darling. Oh, darling. That's also. Hi, Mike. Hi. And, but I had seen that show like a hundred years ago when it first came out. And I thought it was really just like different. It's really funny. There's audience participation. I just felt like he's at that age where like I was when I started to see things like that weren't like Disney's the lion. Yes. And like the form an opinion. Yes. And how impactful that was for me. So I was able to get us tickets to that show. We went and we took the train. It was his first time taking the train. And I was just like I was being uncle. It's a gunkle down boots. Exactly. Like I wore LGB Tunkle. Yeah. That's why I like to call it. Because we basically because Gunkle is actually the worst thing you can be called. Please call me if I get to do not be called. You're Tunkle. Yes. Yes. It isn't a horribly offensive slur. Yeah. LGB Tunkle. We're going to bleep what you said. Yeah. Please do. Yeah. But before we left too. Because I just like I had never taken him into the city myself. Like I my sister was like I'm going to give I have cash to give him for like merch.

Or food or whatever like his train ticket, whatever. And I was like, okay, that's right. She's like, do you want it? I'm like, no, he's going to hold his money. Like I'm letting him be him and be in charge of himself. So we we go and it's like the coldest day. We go to the tree. We do it all. We get to the theater. And before the show we have some time he goes to get some merch. We go to the merch stand. And the girl. Or a Rockefeller tree. Yeah. We want to do a Rockefeller center. Just like I was thinking in the play and I was like, is there a tree in the play? Yeah. We want to the tree in the play. Yeah. Of course. We want to see the Adina Menzel. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So but before the show we were like, let's go get you some merch. So we go to the the the stand and the girl is like, she could tell there was some sort of like dynamic there. Because I've never like spent too much time alone with like a kid. And she was like, so where are you guys visiting from? Because it seemed like we were, you know, doing like a special thing. Yeah.

And I was like, well, this is actually my nephew. We're in from New Jersey. Like, I'm visiting and we just wanted to come see this show. And she's like, oh, you know, aunts and uncles, they are the best at spoiling us. Right? Like to him. And he's like, he doesn't really talk. He's like, yeah. And he, so I'm like, Mason, so which, what do you want? And he picks the shirt he wants. And she's just like, oh, it's, yeah, aunts and uncles, they're the best, they're the best. So she gives, she gives them the shirt. She's like, 40 bucks or however much it is. And I'm just like, I turned him like, oh, Mason, where's your money? Right after. And you're like, it's for me actually. Yeah. And I realize that at that moment, I'm like, no, no, because I just hear, oh. And I like, look, I'm like, no, no, no. Well, his mother gave him money. Like, I already paid for everything. You're like, we're teaching it? Yeah, yeah. We're teaching him how to spend money. Some people are so close minded.

Yeah, they really are. And especially because it was like, it was, it was a size small, but it was for you. You wanted a crop first. Of course. Yeah, of course. Like, Mason, you're buying me this shirt. Kids should be paying for dinner. But I was being so brand-skilled. It was like the coolest, richest aunt until that. Oh, man. In front of another person. And I just, like, of course, it ruined the show for me. I was thinking about it the entire time. I'm like, I should excuse myself, go say something to her. She's probably waiting for you. She was. She was. The authorities were waiting outside. And that's honestly so Christine, because I imagine Christine is always saying to people, like, um, the check comes. Princess is paying. Yeah, where's your money, King Princess? Oh, she's not paying. She has the money, but she's not paying. I think she actually, like, is from a very wealthy family. Princess is a Macy's Eris. Yes. There you go. King Princess is a Macy's Eris. As are the three of us. Yeah, of course. Exactly. Um, I have a quick game. I know we're watching this for a long time, but this is so important. This is actually the most important thing that we've ever done. So just, um, no pressure. As a theater person.

Yeah. I know this would be good for you. Yep. So bring it. I have a game called Christine Beransky, Christine Ebersol, or Christine Diaye. And I am going to name three real women, three very famous stage actresses. And I am going to do something. He's been dying. And I famously only know one of those names. This is this is for you. So Christine. Okay. But Bransky and Ebersol, two stars of stage and screen, Christine Diaye, famously the, uh, singer in Phantom of the Opera, the fictional character. So I am going to. On to knew. So I'm going to name a famous theater role. And you're going to tell me. Beransky, Ebersol, or Diaye, who you think should play this part. Oh, okay. They're all live. Okay, great. Okay, Mama Rose and Gypsy. Ebersol. Good answer. She has that raw, I mean, obviously we've seen the Greg Erden's clips. Of course. I saw it. I actually saw that show.

Okay. Mrs. Love It in Sweeney Todd. I also want to say, Chris, you're giving me Mania up top, which is I think we only want your truth. I'm going to get my truth. No wrong answer. I'm giving my truth. Yeah. Dolly Levi. Hello Dolly. Christine Bransky. Thank you. Good answer. That is who I want to see. Play Dolly next. Exactly. There was only one last year. We need another. Velma Kelly and Chicago. Christine Bransky. Thank you. Millie Dillmount and Therillie Modern Millie. You know what? Christine Diagne. This is your chance. It's almost like she, because honestly Sutton Foster's IRL rise to fame in Millie is very Christine Diagne. That's so true. Was there a phantom of that theater? The Marriott Marquis. Was there a phantom of the Marriott Marquis that God provoked? How did that mean that the actress was supposed to play Millie? How did she fall out of that production?

Do we remember? God only knows. But I think Christine Diagne has something to do with it. It was Sutton's, that was Sutton's moment to step in. And she, and boy did she, she was on. She was waiting. Alexander Hamilton, an agenda swap production of Hamilton. Foransky, down, not even a question. Imagine the enunciation that you would've been- How does it bastard? Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait, you kind of need to make this happen. Annie and Annie. Abbersol. Okay. And then you know who we're making hand again? Christine Bransky. Bransky. Mm-hmm. Okay, last but not least. Christine Diagne, and phantom of the Opera. Bransky. Thank you. I don't think Diagne has the range. But anyways, off of that. It's time for a break. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Welcome back. Welcome back. And it's time for Diva Down. Diva Down, of course, is our final segment where we take a person-placer thing that could use a little unsolicited advice. And our Diva Down this week, of course, is America's Next Top Model. And it's legacy in particular. Yeah, I mean, I'm sure everyone who's listening to this podcast has watched at this point reality check where they have sort of examined the legacy and the damage of America's Next Top Model and all of those involved, especially Tyra Banks and show creator Ken Moch. Mike, have you seen the documentary? I watched all three in one night, all three episodes. I was also one sitting. I was like, oh, just watch the first. Well, I have to see what happens. They did a good job of the cliffhangers. Oh, definitely, definitely. I famously have not. But I can hang.

I can hang. I can hang. I'm a cool man. Did you watch America's Next Top Model? Oh, I watched America's Next Top Model. I mean, I didn't watch all the cycles. Yeah. There's too many. Exactly. It was like, I saw the famous. I saw Yulanda. I saw Eve. I saw the first. I saw, obviously, who is the one who had to spin off with the Brady brother, Adrian. Adrian? Adrian. I mean, that was true. So first, who's the first? The first. Yeah, exactly. I've seen the first three. And I feel like after that, you know. And then, obviously, I've seen the clips. Like I just saw the one where she pretends that all the girls, like the cruelty of having like 16 people be like, you guys got it. And then you 16 didn't get it. And then she actually switches it. And it's like, no, you guys got it. You didn't know. Like this. Yes. Yeah. We're in a reckoning moment. We have been in the last few years where we look at like media of the early 2000s, late 90s, and sort of look at it with a corrective lens. Yeah. I mean, it's new frontier. It's literally in genre. Yeah. And like, I thought the documentary was very entertaining and very gripping.

Obviously, what they did was to some of these people was very crazy. I am sort of loving the new Instagrams or TikToks I'm seeing of like when I told Tyra that my uncle died in a freak tractor accident. So this was my next photo shoot and it's just like someone being like demolished by a tractor. Yeah. I mean, so my advice, let's just jump to it. Obviously, yeah, I think it would be nice if Tyra and some of the people involved took a little like responsibility for their actions, but what I need, I need an entire series about what happened to Janice Dickinson. Yes. Because they really set it up too at the beginning of this documentary that like Janice was like the faux to Tyra and she was so like, she was so bad and they made it seem like she was actually like the difficult one on the show. And then all of a sudden, no mention of Janice. She's not involved in the documentary. I need Janice's story. Also, you know, we got a racer on that docu-series, Kelly Katrone.

Oh. You're a Kelly Katrone racer. Wow. And also, she was on. Did you watch the Hills? I know she was on the Hills, of course. Yes. I was like, she really had a moment on real TV. Your advice is making me jump right to my advice, which is we are the same full sister, which is to me, I want a reboot of Janice Dickinson's modeling agency. Oh. That is the big one. Oh my god. Listen, you know what? A&TM doesn't need to be rebooted right now because of what's been happening. I think we need to leave it be and maybe have a new iteration that needs some time to bake. Bring that back. Did you all ever watch the face with Naomi Campbell? You know my husband that famously worked at Oxygen at the time. I thought it was. Next time we worked at Oxygen, you're lipstick before you talked to me. When Naomi said that to Cocoa Rocha and the purple lipstick, it's amazing. They were really doing something with that. They were doing something. We need that. We need to revise the face. Or like some version of like, look, sorry, it's what we want, Tyra versus Naomi.

Yeah. Oh god. Two houses. You know what I mean? Yeah. Oh my god. Two agencies. Yeah. Yeah. More fashion shows. Yeah. We need more fashion shows, maybe as toxic, but with slightly more provisions in play. Well, my advice is, because Tyra teased at the end, obviously, and I can't wait for you to see what we do with the next cycle. Don't do it. Yeah. Don't do another cycle. Yeah. Yeah. We're good. Yeah. Also, no one wants to see the like rebooted, like, sorry, PC version of it. Yeah. That's like, what, just about the like, sanctity of modeling? Yeah. Sure. Because it was unhinged, because she was unhinged, there wasn't that awareness yet of how toxic they were being. I'm sorry. That's why it worked. Yeah. Also, did you see? She gave this interview where she said, I know that like right now, I'm known for like, all these things that I've created, but what, what I want my legacy to be, is Smice. What? I thought she said the ice cream. That's my, that's my life. Oh, yeah.

Yeah. Smice cream. Yeah. You know, I was saying, you know what, you should do Tyra, okay? You can take this. This is a free idea. Yeah. Please. It includes the ways of Smice cream. Thank you so much, that is, my speech lists her as Lisa Vanderpomp- What ya now. Imagine fights as they're scooping the Malton hot vats, utter Sümpath, hair burn, BBQers on their list? Someone throws the smeys waves on someone else and is also in Australia. Because for some reason it's only in Australia. Randomly. Randomly in Australia and none of the employees are ever there, because they're always on vacation. Oh, my God. And the hot ice cream is so goat cheese balls. Yes. It's their goat cheese balls. They haven't completely baked it. Tyra driving around in an old Rolls Royce. Yeah. Oh my God. This is brilliant. Okay. Tyra, please get on this. Ken Mock. Get this to Tyra. Everyone. Get this to Tyra. She's available.

And she is available online. That should get the face rebooted. Oh my. Actually, that's what I want rebooted. Oh, I know. Yeah. Okay. Wow. Okay. Wow. With that. What an incredible episode. Right now. Right now. Thank you so much for coming on the monitor. Thank you so much for coming on the monitor. Thank you so much for coming on the monitor. Where, okay. Is there, where can they find you? You're on Instagram. I'm a sponge mic. Yes. One, two, three on Instagram and TikTok. He also, I want to say, you do your amazing comedy show. Three comedy once a month. Yes. Nico's wine bar and app water in LA. Literally. Literally. It is someone. The next one. Yeah. That Nico's in app water, which is a really cool wine bar. Yeah. We got Nick Crow on the show. So you're going to want to go. I want to go. This is going to come out. What? I'm assuming. No, it's going to come out before. Right before. So it will be the upcoming Sunday. Unbelievable. I'm going to be sold out now. Follow. Like, if you don't already, he's an amazing, amazing follow. If you don't follow us on YouTube, you're missing out because we've got a hunk on the
