Are you ready for a story? I've got a really magical one for you today. It's called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. You know, this story comes from a book and it's all about this wonderful little boy and a man who makes the most delicious candy you can imagine inside a factory that's just full of magic and surprises. Now, imagine this way, way deep inside a big, busy town. There's this giant factory with these huge gates and it's a magical factory. Hmm, what do you think they make in there? Should it be noisy toys or maybe super bouncy balls? Let's find out together. Well, our story starts with a very, very special boy.

2:05It's time to meet our hero. His name is Charlie. And here he is. Look, this is Charlie Bucket. See his big smile? He has such a warm heart. Charlie is just a really, really good and kind little boy. Charlie lives with his family, of course. Here are his mommy and his daddy, Mr. and Mrs. Bucket. They love Charlie so, so much. And guess what else? He also lives with all of his grandparents. That's right. Two grandpa's and two grandma's. Wow, what a big, happy family. All snuggled up together in one house. Their house was this little wooden house and it wasn't very big at all. And in the winter time, when the wind would blow, oh my goodness, it would get so, so cold inside. Burrr. They all had to snuggle up super close to stay warm. No. Charlie was a happy boy, for sure. But there was one thing he would dream about all day long. The one thing he wanted more than anything else in the whole wide world was chocolate.

3:11Hmm. Can you imagine? Yummy, yummy chocolate. And then, one day, something so exciting happened. A wonderful surprise was on it's way. It was time for the Golden Ticket Hunt. You see, the man who owned that magical chocolate factory, his name was Mr. Willy Wonka. And he did something amazing. He took five shiny, sparkly golden tickets, and he hid them inside five of his chocolate bars. Just five. For five lucky children in the whole world to find. Oh, I just wonder. Charlie loves chocolate more than anything. Do you think, do you really think our friend Charlie is going to find one of those shiny golden tickets? What do you think is going to happen? He did. Yes. Charlie found it. He found the very last golden ticket. Hurray! Hurray for Charlie! Can you give a big clap for Charlie? Yay! So, with that shiny golden ticket in his hand, it was finally time to visit the factory.

4:13Welcome to the factory. The big day is here at last. All the other lucky children showed up with their mommies and daddies, too. But our story, this special story, it's all about our hero. It's all about Charlie. The moment Charlie walked inside the factory, whoosh! It felt so nice and warm, and the smell, oh, it smelled so, so wonderful. It was like yummy caramel and sweet mint and delicious, melty chocolate all at once. Mmm. Mr. Wanka took them to a very special room first, a room with a river of chocolate. A whole room where every single thing is sweet. Just look at that. Mr. Wanka showed them this beautiful green valley, and guess what was running right through the middle? A big brown river. Wow. Just wow. Everything was made of candy. That big river, it wasn't water, it was all yummy, melted chocolate. And the green grass?

5:13You could eat it. It was made of soft, minty sugar. There were yummy, candy flowers growing everywhere you looked. And see that? A giant waterfall was mixing all the chocolate together, splash, splash, splash. But you know what? That was only the beginning. There were so many more amazing candy rooms to see, so many wonderful things waiting for them. Charlie just couldn't believe his eyes. Down every hallway, there was something new. He saw fizzy lifting drinks that make you float right up to the ceiling like a balloon. Whee! He saw square candies that play a trick on your eyes and look round. And he even saw these pretty cows that didn't give white milk. Nope. They gave chocolate milk. Now some of the other children, while they didn't listen very well, they got a little bit naughty and so one by one they all had to go home early. Oh dear. And then it was time for Charlie's wonderful prize.

6:14This was turning into the best day ever. And pretty soon there was only one child left, and it was Charlie. And you know why? Because he was such a good boy, so kind and gentle, and he listened so well, he won the special prize. Mr. Wanka gave Charlie the biggest best prize of all. He gave him the whole chocolate factory. That's right, it was all for Charlie. And he and his mommy and daddy and all his grandparents got to live there together. What a happy, happy ending.
