There's no seeing what anyone's up to because there's not much happening. Arkansas and Arizona. Arizona just cleared their team total. They're up 89-72. So that makes that a 17 point game with 731 to go. They're laying 18 and a half totals, 196 and a half. And then in Illinois Houston, the Align Eye out to a 58-43 lead. They're 12 and a half point in game favorites. Your total is 115 and a half. And finally, Houston with 327 to go is shooting free throws. Something I would have been doing if I was them. It is now a 15 point game with just under three and a half remaining. I'll keep you updated on where we stand with that. And our one late night baseball game. Seattle and Cleveland, knotted up at three. Seventh inning. We went in game on Seattle minus 140 last inning. They're now minus 151. So that's ticking correct in our direction.

2:02We'll see how that plays out throughout the rest of that game. But it's now time to talk baseball with one of our favorites. Happy baseball season, my friend. I'm sure you really enjoyed seeing the New York Yankees. Your team open up opening night on Netflix. Well, all that pomp and circumstance. I feel like that was right up your alley. It was and I didn't love the Metz putting it on Paul Schienz today. It actually really liked what I was seeing. Unfortunately, I guess. But I'm glad to be talking baseball. I guess I'm wondering. Are we more popular in the NBA now? Are people finally coming to their senses? Well, that's an interesting topic. Because if baseball could navigate the waters right now, correctly, they could pick up more fans. The problem is the leader of the entire league is Rob Manfred. And I don't think he likes baseball. So I struggled to find out a figure out a way for him to convince other people

3:05to then like baseball too. Yeah, and I don't think there'll ever be someone who likes baseball. But I guess Bud Sealick righty let steroids be in the league. So that was far. Maybe he did like the game a little bit. So we'll see what happens. I was I was into the steroid. Or I stand by it. I made two Barry bonds. The best player I ever saw. Those stats counted. People's careers were decided on it. And he got like two pitches to hit a week. And he put them into McCovie cove. But yeah, I just heard he was supposed to be a Yankee apparently on air. Yeah, that was that was that story. The other day during the broadcast that that was fascinating. Could you imagine him with that short porch? We're talking like 70 home runs. We might have been in the hundreds at that point in his career. Oh, yeah, they they wouldn't even have tried. There's no reason to pitch to him. There wasn't in San Francisco with the marine layer. Remember that used to matter now. Everything's a home run. Yeah, Barry bonds in New York would have been silly. It is funny how the talking point now is, you know, it's really hard to hit at Oracle Park. Meanwhile, Barry bonds had no issues. Now the giants that have issues on opening night carry against your Yankee. So talk to me about what you saw.

4:08Because everyone in the lineup had a hit except for Aaron Judd to at four strikeouts. Fried was tremendous. They won seven nothing. They were off today. How'd you feel about what you saw on opening night? What I really cared about was Max Fried. Max Fried was horrible in that Toronto series. Everyone watched it. It was on the big stage. And the Yankees obviously tend to embarrass themselves on that stage. But what's good about this is that if you were paying attention to the pitch mix, you were seeing a little cutter in there. It reminded me of Garrett Cole a few years ago, where yeah, I might be this high-priced guy. It makes 30 million a year. But this isn't good enough. So the fact that the Yankees didn't leave the yard, not a single time. And managed to score seven runs off Logan Webb. And of course, not all of them came off of Webb. And Webb, nothing to read into. He'll get back into form, obviously, participating in the WBC. So yeah, it was a great day of baseball. You can't read into anything. This first, really, this first two or three months doesn't matter. But it's nice to get off to a good start. Judge will be fine. All right. How do you feel about the team coming into the year?

5:08Favorites to win the AL East once again. Win total around 90 and a half. They pretty much ran it back. And the way I've been kind of framing this team, Gary, is that they're boring because of it's the same team. But we have to be fair. They're awesome. How do you feel about the Yankees this season? I don't feel like it's boring. I completely understand what you're saying. I completely get it. But when you're looking at what the team was last year, this is the same team they had at the end of the year. And that's the difference. The Yankees won 94 games. Anthony Volpi was a barnyard explosion. Austin Wells, they got nothing from him. Ben Rice didn't have a significant role, really until midway part of the year. Cam Schlippler didn't get a chance until the middle of the year. Really towards the end, he was here for 15 minutes. You get a full season, he's starting game two of the season. I think this Yankees team is for the most part the same. But some of these other teams across the pond and across the way. In Toronto, maybe you look at their offense and say, do they take a step backwards without boba shit?

6:09Do like what they did in the rotation. But I would have to imagine they're hitting the over on that wind total. I'm smashing that. Gary Sheffield, Jr. is our guest Yankees unloaded. Rodon will be returning in about a month or so. Luis Heal is going to be getting triple A. I can't wait to see what his arm looks like. How do you feel about the rotation this year? Because Schlitler is going to start on Friday against San Francisco. He showed that he's got a lot of upside as well. You mentioned freed. I mean, they've got plenty of arms. Yeah, what I hate about it is that La Grande is ready, man. And obviously you know what you get in Will Warren. He's a solid arm in the game. You wouldn't know it. Obviously watching that Toronto series who's pitching garbage time, giving up grand slams of Ladi, Jr. But on all seriousness, very good, very talented arm. They're leaning veteran in that rotation. It's going to work out. Matt Blake, their pitching coach knows exactly what he's doing.

7:10They've got to lean on veterans. When you're talking about an aging roster and Aaron Judge on the wrong side of 30, and Cody Ballinger, who they resigned this off-season on the wrong side of 30, Giancarlo Stanton. They've got to win now. I think they understand that. So for those of you who love prospects and development, you're not going to get that, right? Jason Amiga is not going to play because Trent Grisham accepted that one year offer that, right? Spencer Jones, same exact deal. So this team isn't young. They're trying to win right now. Very similar roster. You know, obviously on the other side as Philadelphia. Gary Sheffield, Jr. is our guest covering the Yankees. Yankees unloaded on YouTube. At Gary Sheffield, Jr. on X. So right now, plus $1.80 to win the AL East. Toronto's two and a half to one. The Red Sox are plus three 20. The O's are plus four 25. And then the raise are 25 to one. If you had to choose one team that scares you the most to potentially steal the division, who is it in the AL East? Easily Boston. Not even a question to me. I've always wondered throughout the last two or three seasons.

8:13And everyone thinks it's going to be their year. Roman Anthony obviously was on the precipice. He's now here. You saw him in USA baseball. But you've got Crochet. You've got Ranger Suarez. Sonny Gray. You obviously know what early does. He's really been dominant against the Yankees. Outside of late in that series last year in the wild card. Bayo obviously very talented. Hasn't necessarily been consistent to put it together. But being at the back end of the rotation, it's scary. And you already know about what they're doing at the back end of that pen with the oldest Chapman who was a reliever of the year just last year. It's a scary team. They've just got to figure out offensively where we get our consistency. Of course, they're bringing up a lot of young guys. So there's question marks there. A lot of wild cards. Boston scares me. And I'm not saying they're going to win that division. But if you're a betting man, this is a good team to put some stock into. Yeah. Boston, the upside is crazy. That core is young. It feels like they all play off of each other well. You've got Toronto and Baltimore the other two. And if I told you the Yankees and Red Sox are making the playoffs,

9:14only one more A-list A-L-E's team makes the postseason. Would you go with Toronto? Would you go with Baltimore? Oh, definitely Toronto. I would absolutely say just, of course, what they're doing in the rotation draw a blank, obviously, on his name coming out of San Diego over there. But my goodness, see how to down year. What? Yeah, Dylan Seas. People forget Dylan Seas was the $200 million arm. And you're talking about a guy that San Diego couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. What was wrong with that fastball? He got hit around with one of the game's best fastballs. They couldn't understand why that's going to happen. When you've got veterans in that locker room in Toronto, they're going to figure that out. Toronto knows what they're doing. They know how to develop even some young talent. Obviously, what you saw at a savage last year in the postseason, Toronto's going to be just fine. I think Boba Shed, yes, he was a part of that postseason roster. But people forget when he showed up, he just got healthy towards the back end of that run. He was really a fill-in and that team was an inch away

10:14from beating the Los Angeles Dodgers. So if I'm going to put any stock in another team in this division, they're not a sleeper. They just won the A-L. But Toronto's scary as ever. Looking big picture at the American League. Is there someone else outside of the Yankees who are going to be right there until the very end that you think is a threat that maybe we're not talking about because you can still get like nine to one on the Detroit Tigers to win the American League right now. The Seattle Mariners are priced super high as a favorite atop the board. Do you think there's a sneaky American League team that people should be looking at? Now, I wish I had a name for you. Obviously, Cleveland has been one of those teams that's really taken a step back. Of course, what's gone on with a lot of the gambling aspect of the game. But Cleveland's one of those teams where you just say, where's all these arms coming from? They're a factory. And they just find ways to get out out of that rotation. Don't sleep on Cleveland. Somehow, some way they're going to be competitive.

11:16Teams out of the out of the ale central just find ways to sneak up on you. It used to be Detroit just basically bulldozing the division back in the day with Miguel Cabrera. But in today's world, it's a division that's it tends to be close, not a lot of runaways. And I think Cleveland could be one of those teams that's at least competitive this year where you actually have to turn ahead. That's a good call because I did bet Seattle in game with them tied and the Guardians while you were speaking played at two runs. They're up five to three right now in the middle of the seventh inning. Chase the lottery score to run his second hit of the day. And yeah, Jose Ramirez doing more damage. He passes to the sharp, sharp misses the three. And it is off of Houston. So Illinois gets the ball back to that. If Illinois does what they should do, which is knock down free throws, they should be able to close this thing out. Pick up the win, advance and take on Iowa in the elite eight on Saturday. So let's see what they do, the inbound and they're no foul immediately. 27 seconds to go and they do foul.

15:24Looks like they foul to Ayaka Vitch is gonna shoot some free throws here. Still Ayaka Vitch on the season. What is he as a free throw shooter? Was it not, oh, no, it wasn't still Ayaka Vitch. Never mind. That looks like it was Wogler. Wogler at the free throw line. And I imagine he's a great free throw shooter on the year. He is who he's won a for it today, maybe not. Maybe I'm imagining incorrectly. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. He is on the season 79.9%. And he misses the first one short. That is massive. Now, there's just not a lot of time left. That's the issue here. Looking at the in game number, it's 11 and a half and just went off the board. So let's see, I do believe he's gonna make this corner in the sports book. Yeah, he makes it. So he goes one of two from the stripe and it is a 10 point game. The problem is Houston didn't hit that three before. So I guess it's not that interesting, never mind. And now they're just desperately looking for long threes.

16:25That ones off and it's boarded by Illinois. They're just gonna call off the dogs. This one's over. The Alina are going to the elite eight to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes. They have punched their ticket. So we have Iowa advancing today. We have Purdue advancing and a third big 10 team in Illinois also advancing to the elite eight. Three out of eight, man. And there's still potentially more to come. You got Michigan on the other side. Michigan state is still playing here. This is quite a year for the big 10. Big 10's kind of owning college basketball as well. The other late night game in the sweet 16 Arizona 104 82 on top of Arkansas. There's under three minutes to go. So this one is basically over. It's a 22 point game. Although sloppy turnover by Arizona on an inbound, it'll make it a 20 point game. Following some free throws from Arkansas here. Tommy Lloyd's not happy without sloppy his team looks. But that is the last game of the night as far as college basketball is concerned. Image league baseball.

17:26This Guardians Mariners game is kind of good. Kind of good late night for us. I don't hate it. So last we left off. It was the Guardians were taking the lead back a two run seventh inning for them or sixth inning for them. Off of Gabe Spire who's a really good left handed reliever. But it looks like Chase the lottery got on. The rookie who already homeworked in his first at bat. He's two for four with a ribby and two runs. He was driven in by Jose Ramirez hitting from the right side. He kills left handed pitching. And Ramirez is one of four on the day. He drove in two runs there. That game Cleveland a five three lead. Then in the bottom of the seventh, Dominic Canzone came up their D.H. Really good against right handed pitching. And he went deep, which made this a five four games. That's where we stand in the seventh inning. Two outs still up are the Mariners here. Top of the order as it's Eric Sbrowski brought on the South Paul to take on Brendan Donovan. And then after him, potentially Cal Raleigh. So if you're Donovan, you want to see a lot of pitches here.

18:26And hopefully get Raleigh to the plate with a chance to take the lead on one swing of the bat. We went minus 140 on Seattle while this game was tied up at threes. If you like Seattle, you get plus 222. Cleveland's minus 306. The total in game is 10 and a half. There's still a lot of baseball left. But I would say this, the Guardians bullpen always scares me. And I know that the thought is probably for most people that a manual class is not pitching this year. How good it could be. Well, Kate Smith, I think, has the best stuff of any closer in baseball. And he was an elite setup guy for a while. He's been great when he's needed to close games out. Sean Armstrong's in front of him. He has experienced closing in Texas. I don't really have a good read on him. So Browsky is their key left handed reliever, though, trying to set things up. They're using him here in the seventh. I imagine he may stay on in the eighth, potentially Armstrong in the eighth. And he just got Donovan to strike out. And that will end the seventh inning. So we go to the eighth Cleveland leads on the road five to four against the Seattle Mariners.

19:27And again, that number in game is minus 381 with Cleveland plus 267 the other way with the Mariners. So I'll keep you updated on that. Keep you updated on the basketball, which, by the way, just went final between Illinois and I'm blanking Houston, Houston, final score in that one. Illinois gets the win 6555. They win by 10. They were catching a couple points here at close. It was two and a half. And we go under the total of 140 and a hook in that game. The sweet 16 will continue on Friday. I love the slate of games. And the first game that I think is the perfect way to start the day is St. Johnson Duke. Because the storylines are perfect. You got 73-year-old Patino. You've got a young up-and-comer and John Shire who's taken over for Coach Cain is done an amazing job. You've got lottery picks on one side with Duke with boozer and others. And then for St. John's, it's a lot of seniors,

20:28a lot of experience, some grown men that maybe aren't as talented as the Duke players, but they understand what's gonna happen here and how this style of fight is gonna go. Right now looking at the betting market, Duke is a six and a half point favorite. Your total is 141 and a half. And Rick Patino met with the media earlier today and talked about having to face these blue devils in the sweet 16. I was joking yesterday with the team a little bit about, you know it. You can't, this is a once in a lifetime for all you guys. You can't embrace these things. You got to set your mind on what's going to happen when we wouldn't cut down the net for a national championship. To try and get them somehow to believe they're going to win. And to also, to get them to understand that you can't be happy where you are at this point because if you get content playing a team like Duke, you're gonna get blown out. So you got to be really hungry and believe.

21:29And that's, we got to foster that type of belief. And if you don't, usually you go home. So we just want to get after it. We know we're playing a great team. There's no question about to have them lost very much. And, but we want to foster that type of belief that we're going to win this game. Yeah, I mean, that's what Patino does. He inspires his teams. He lets them, you know, get coached hard. He makes sure that when they get into these big games, they control how the game's going to be played out, whether that's the tempo, whether that's the attitude, whether that's the physicality. And I anticipate St. John's bringing a lot of physicality in this game and try to out-tough a Duke team that I'm not sure has been hitting the mouth like that. Now, by the way, I don't think St. John's is very good offensively. And I think St. John's had plenty of moments during the year where you went. I don't know if this team is really all that special. They may not be, but they may have the best coach we've ever seen, especially in tournament games. And they've got seniors, Ejaphore, senior, Hopkins, senior, sellers, senior, Mitchell, senior, right?

22:32Jackson's a sophomore, so it's not like he's a freshman who's gonna be scared of the moment. They've got length on the perimeter. They've got wings that can really disrupt what Duke wants to do. And also, we don't know how healthy Duke is, and they've sure looked susceptible dealing with some of the injuries. And Gangba came back against TCU. He played 13 minutes in that game. That's the last time that we saw him. We have yet to see Foster for the Blue Devils so far in the NCAA tournament. And John Shire updated us on where he stands with those players. For an experience, right? With both these guys, one Pat responded well. You never know how that's gonna go, but he's on track to play again tomorrow, which is a really big deal for us. And then Caleb, I just go back to when he got hurt. He told me, look, if I do this and work every day, you got to promise me, you're, let me put this uniform on again with our guys. And he's in a position where he's gonna try to do that tomorrow night. And he had a good day of practice yesterday,

23:35doing a little bit. We have to see how he feels today. And then hopefully he progresses well enough tomorrow where, again, it's not like there's a lot of practice time, but we have to make sure he's in position before the game. It'll be more of a game time decision, but he's gonna give it everything he has to go tomorrow night. Look, if they don't have those guys, I do think the veteran experience with St. John's could really give them a fighting chance to not just cover the six and a half, but win outright. My favorite play in the game, though, is I'm on the other under 142. I just think Patino, 2-0 to the under so far, this tournament run, but more importantly, the only chance they have is a lower scoring affair. They can't go shot for shot with Duke, and I think they're gonna make it very difficult for them to run their normal offense. And on the other side, I do believe St. John's is gonna have trouble scoring against this Duke defense. So give me the under 142 in this matchup. 25:40They cover the seven and a half. We go over the 165 and a hook in that game. Illinois advances, winning as a two and a half point dog against Houston in the South region, 65, 55 under the 140 and a half is the way that one went down. You had earlier tonight, Iowa advancing, winning outright against Nebraska, the four versus nine seed. Iowa wins 77, 71, Sturts had 20, Fulgaris had 16, sage had 19, as that bench for Iowa is contributing when it matters the most. And then Purdue just got by Texas, thanks to a trade offman rent tip in with a less than a second to go, 79, 77, Texas shot 44% from three against Purdue, Purdue, just 20% beyond the arc for them, but they were able to still win the game. We have lines for the elite eight up right now, where as far as Purdue is concerned, they will take on Arizona with a trip to the final four on the line. And if Purdue gets to the final four,

26:40I have to shave my head. That is something we've discussed here since election Sunday. I was just feeling a little spicy, wanted to have something on the line here because I'm not buying Purdue. And Arizona was the obvious choice that I thought was going to end up knocking them off. Thought there was a chance that they would slip up though to maybe Gonzaga. Unfortunately, Texas took care of them. And Texas almost was able to get past the boiler makers on Thursday night, but now it's Arizona, who is a five and a half point favorite. Your total is 150 and a half. And if Braden Smith can't help with the contributions beyond the arc and they're just completely dependent on Fletcher lawyer being their main three point shooter, shooter, I'm not sure this team's ready for Arizona and their efficiency. While Arizona is not going to shoot a ton of threes, they're going to kill you from two. Death by a million paper cuts there right in the lane. They're going to get to the charity stripe. They're going to make their free throws. And they're super deep. Purdue has the experience. Purdue has three guys have been through this before. Arizona though has the depth. Arizona, and in terms of coaching, it's two coaches that kind of always let you down at this point in time in the season.

27:42So it's really tough to really back either one of them. But right now, I would lean lane the five and a half with Arizona, even though Purdue has been in a bunch of close games and taken care of business. I think Arizona is a different animal. The other elite eight game features Iowa and Illinois, where the Align Eye are six and a half point favorites in the total is 140 and a half. This is one of those rare ones where we're getting this in conference game in the elite eight. And these two teams have played before. January 11th, a 75, 69 victory for Illinois on the road in Iowa. Illinois shot 36% from three in that game. Really solid against an elite defense for Iowa, especially on that perimeter. Bennett starts though, held to 12 points. And it's pretty consistent. If you can limit Bennett starts, you can beat Iowa. However, I would point out the last couple of games in the dance against Florida and against Nebraska. Fulgaris has been very good. Sage has been better good. Koch was great the other day against Florida on Sunday in their upset win. So they are getting more contributions from the bench. Will that continue?

28:43And can they do that against the team like Illinois that has so many weapons that can score? Looking at that game, I would lean under 140 and a half, which is always a dangerous proposition when you've got Illinois playing. But I just think Iowa is going to need to make that game a very slow, low possession contest. If they're going to combat a team with as many weapons as Illinois, it's one thing where they go over against Nebraska on Thursday. Teams are pretty similar. And Nebraska's got a few more scores, but it's not like they're super deep. Illinois is deep. Illinois's got five or six guys that can easily go for 15 to 20 points in this game. And because of that, I would lean under because I think Ben McCollum is the better coach between him and Underwood. He controls how this game is going to be played out. So that's where we stand with the elite eight. We'll find out the other elite eight matchups coming up with Friday's action. And a game that fascinates me is this Iowa State Tennessee game because the cyclones are laying three and a half. The total's 140 and a half,

29:43but we don't know where we stand with Josh Jefferson. Josh Jefferson is the heartbeat of the cyclones. He is their best player. He is their go-to guy. As much as I love Tame and Lipsi, who is a dog. As much as we all love mom's syllovitch, who hits threes at our rate, we haven't really seen someone in a long time in college hoops. Josh Jefferson's the guy that makes it all happen. He is the all around player that they turn to, especially in close games late in times of trouble. And you've got on the other sidelines. Via Otsilberger is Rick Barnes. And there can be a lot of people this week talking about Rick Barnes, sweet 16 elite eight. He doesn't come through. This is when his teams fall apart. There hasn't been a lot expected out of the balls this year. And I have to say the few times that I've really focused in, whether I was betting on them or against them, I've come away overall impressed because at this time of year, if you can have two dudes who can really carry your team, you can do something special. And I do think Tennessee has that. You have Nick Aiment, who's a mismatch with his size and scoring ability. You have Gillespie. You can get buckets with the best of them. And I give them a chance here to not just cover the four,

30:43but win outright. And that's someone who has 28 to one, and I was state to win the whole thing. I don't want that to be the situation here, but that's just the reality of the way these two teams match up, specifically if Jefferson's not playing. TJ Ozzelberger, who, according to the field of 68A, will not be in the mix for the North Carolina head coach vacancy, met with the media earlier today and updated us on where we stand with Jefferson. Nothing new at this point. I mean, we're gonna give him every opportunity up until the game to do everything he can. He's a fierce competitor. Our medical staff has been amazing and he's continued to work diligently. But at this point, be premature to make any type of determination until we get closer to tip. Yeah, that's unfortunate. I'd like to see them be at full strength. I'd like them to have all of their potential options available in this game because I think Iowa state's dangerous. I guy with state can really give Arizona a run for their money on a neutral floor here once we get to the final four, but we have to get there. That's the problem. Mom Chilovich, 49% from three.

31:44I mean, as long as he's knocking those down, it's awesome, but Jefferson's their second leading score. He's also their leading rebounder and Torrey has stepped up in certain spots. He was dealing with an injury before, but I don't know if they can really navigate these waters against a team coach by Rick Barnes that is usually really physical and has a ton of size. Barnes at this point in his career getting into the NCAA tournament. He's only nine and 12 against the spread. He's 12 and nine to the under. He's two and two covering, two and two over under as far as the sweet 16 is concerned. Ozzelberger in the NCAA tournament is seven and four against the spread, eight and four to the under. He's also o and two covering in the sweet 16, two and o to the under. I'd look at the under 140 and a half, not just because of all those trends, but if Jefferson doesn't play, I just don't think the offense is gonna really have the rhythm that we're normally used to seeing from the cyclone. So right now, my lean would be under 140 and a half with Tennessee and Iowa State in that game. Now, the other two games on the card for Friday, I gotta tell you, they're throwing me for a loop.

32:45And looking at the point spreads, maybe that's playing a role and getting in my head, Michigan laying eight and a half to Alabama, the totals 172 and a half. Okay, the over under was originally 175, I believe in this game, right? Was it 175? No, 171 and a half. And it's since been bet up to 173 and a half then down to 172 and a half. But this is one of the higher totals you're ever gonna see for an NCAA tournament game. Because of the way NATO's his offense runs, right? It's that rim in three. It's get that easy, high percentage shot. Shoot a three, get to the free throw line. They don't mess around with that mid game stuff. They don't play that 90s basketball. DeMar de Rosen couldn't have ever been recruited by NATO's. On the other side, I am not really willing to get there and lay it with Michigan right now, even though that's the side that I like. Because this feels like a matchup where they could miss case on the most. Case on's out for the year is actually gonna red shirt next year. But it's three point shooting in a game with Alabama that has so many guys who can score at a high rate.

33:45I am a little fearful that my Michigan 20 to one ticket could be at risk if this is the spot where they miss case on. Now, I think Michigan's size could be a real issue for Alabama to deal with. I think Lindenborg finally being allowed to take over these games could be an issue for Alabama on the defensive end. But there is a chance that case on shooting is missed specifically for this matchup. As Michigan's good from three, but he's a big part of that. NATO's in the NCAA tournament, 10 and eight against the spread, nine and nine over under, two and two covering, three and one to the over in the sweet 16. Dusty may seven and four covering in the tournament overall, six and five to the over with Michigan, he's three and two covering, three and two to the over. I lean laying the nine with Michigan, but because the case on injury, I'm not getting there. And then as far as Michigan State and Yukon is concerned, these two teams are basically carbon copies of each other. Right now that spreads one and a half, Yukon's favorite. Total's 134 and a hook. I want a back iso, because my big talking point for this game has been that,

34:46I think that this is the Jackson-Colar game. This is where you need his size, where you need his ability to stroke it beyond the arc, to be a really, really viable number two option to fears in that back court. I think that Kohler as a big man here, he could be a stretch that's tougher Yukon to deal with because Yukon's bigs are a little bit different. Now Yukon I think has a little bit more depth as far as the bigs are concerned. That's why I haven't gotten there, taking the short number at one and a half with Spardy. 134 and a half is your total. And early in the year, I was hitting a lot of Michigan State unders late in the year. All those unders became overs, I know, because I kept betting the unders and the overs kept heading. In the tournament, Tom iso is 11 and four to the under in the sweet 16. Dan Hurley in the NCAA tournaments 12 and 6 to the under. And on a neutral, 18 and 9 to the under is a favorite of six or less with Yukon. Oh, I lean the under 134 and a half, but that is a very low total with two very smart head coaches in this game. I was surprised, though. He didn't have as many totals on his bike this week, and he's been killing the totals. He had been, I think we had calculated, I think it was six and two in totals entering this round. He did not get his total this week, which was his best bet. I lost on that total as well, which was the brass guy that was shoot out. That no one saw coming. The market thought this game would be a dead under. And a lot of its game theory, when you're playing a contest and you got a stale number and you can get three points of line value. So I did play it and play it as my best bet. The other two, I was a little mad at myself because my second bet of the week, Dustin,

38:51was Texas plus eight. And then it came down and I felt like a lot of people were gonna be on Texas in the contest. So I left it off my card. So I played Illinois and then I played Arizona, excuse me. So two in one today, tomorrow got the best bet. Duke, St. John's, I'm here. I'm with you. Which not to maybe make you a little bit fearful about it when my contest is going. And then we are going with Tennessee plus four and a half. So those are the two plays tomorrow, fingers crossed. We can get back if we can get the four and one for the sweet 16. We'll see what can happen here. But I think your read on Texas was right now. I laid it with Purdue and you know, I walked in here, Matt Eumann's immediately Dustin. Your really thought Purdue was a good bet. And let me jump in here. So I looked at Eumann's, heading into the big, so I call Eumann's the Purdue whisper. He is very good football basketball. Agreed. Fader follow, he's very strong on Purdue. I will say this. I looked at him before the big 10 tournament.

39:52I go, Matt, I really like the draw for Purdue. There's something about getting away from Mackie. Hey, I'm going to take that plus 950s, like I disagree. Well, you know, Matt, we love you. You're the Purdue whisperer. You still are, but you are wrong on that. Now, I, Purdue made it up for me today, not covering because I had Miami, and that was very painful. Yeah, I mean, that, that, when you had every step of the way. But, but you know this better than anyone. If something bad happens to you in your life as a better, the second Matt Eumann sees you after it happens, he will bring it up and ask you what, what, what went on. But you got to push back because he is more grumpy than anybody. I know, I mean, he's literally, we work together because I get so angry at my losses, but he does too. So you just got to push back at similar losses. Just bring up the bad beat of Rams Eagles. He still bothers it. It still bothers him to this day. 40:55I, during the year I went up to Matt. I came in here one day. It was very early in the season. I said, Matt, you know, Purdue's all the way up to 17 to one to win it all. It worked the look. He goes, no, something's wrong. They got up like 20 something to one. He said, no, it's still wrong. They got up to 40 to one. I started, you know, I might do this, but he has had the right read on them. So I'm very curious about how he thinks about the matchup in the Elite 8. You have not seen the lines yet for the Elite 8. So I want to get your thoughts on them. The first one, we'll do the, we'll do the Purdue game. Okay. Arizona Purdue. What do you think the spread is? Um, all right. So Arizona closed 8.8 and a half today. They won 109.88 over Arkansas. I'm going to say it's pretty inflated. I'm going to say five and a half. Five and a half. Really? Yeah. Oh, wow. Five and a half now. Purdue's lack of defense. You think that total is going to be pretty high? Yeah, I think it's going to be very high. That's tough to guess. So I'm not going to make it. Yeah, I mean, I think when you look at Arizona and you know me,

41:56I don't like the late points. I laid it today with Arkansas. I felt like Arkansas's depth was really going to struggle. I know they got Nick Pringle back. The size that they have. I'm fascinated to see the game plan for Matt Painter and his bunch for this game. And look, Fletcher lawyer has been on fire. Traykov and Ren obviously with the put back today, it just, it feels like the athleticism for Arizona early blush. I think a lot of people are going to look to lay it because of how today played out. 109 points. Purdue really struggled. I'm going to have to try to make a case here for Purdue. I think it does seem pretty high. And I think it will get better. If we get the seven on this, I just don't think that Purdue and Arkansas are, you know, one point different on a neutral. So I think I'm probably going to have to make a case for Purdue. If anything, but I Arizona does look like with that veteran back court, you've got, you've got everything, right? You've got size. Yeah, you've got a veteran and Bradley.

42:57You've got a lottery and buries. They've got every piece for this team. But as we all know, the great equalizers, the three, and you look at a Purdue team that could shoot the three extremely well. And Arizona just doesn't shoot threes. And is that going to, at some point, be there a kill. You see, we'll find out early thought would be look at Purdue, but I wouldn't race to take it because I think people are going to bet Arizona. Total's 152 and a half, which to me, my thought would produce lack of defense. I'd lean that over and I don't love overs. And we were looking at today at what, 166. Yeah, and then way blue over. So yeah, probably would be over, but you do wonders. Matt painter saying, hey, we can't get into a track meet with Arizona. We're going to have to grind this thing out, slow it down a little bit. So I think I would be hesitant to lay the over, get the over immediately there. Tim Murray's hanging out with us here at Circa following his show. 43:58The other elite eight game up right now, Illinois, Iowa, and this is a game that they played on January 11th at Iowa, 7569, Illinois won that contest. Any idea with this match will be something if you had this in your bracket, and we're both big Ben McCollum guys. I did not have this in my bracket. I've said it multiple times on decent prime time, the fact that a team that lost Maryland and Penn State is here in the elite eight. I look back and I was like, man, the odds for them to win the South were only 45 to one knowing they had to beat Florida. For this game, Illinois strong performance today, they did something I was not anticipating. They kind of grinded it out. I was impressed. My curiosity about Illinois, even though I bet him, I thought the game script for them winning this game, Dustin was kind of, hey, we're going to go up temple. We're going to make them uncomfortable. They played a little bit of Houston's game and they beat him at it, which was surprising

45:00to me. I think this number is going to be high. I think it back Florida was nine and a half. No, that was double digits. I think it was like sure. I'll say Illinois six and a half. It's pretty good guess. It's six and a half. Is it really? Yeah. That's a pretty good guess. Total is pretty, you know, total is already moved. To the over, to the under, 139 and a half is your total. And that, my initial thought at 140 and a half was the under just because if Iowa has any chance, it is to make it slow and methodical. But one thing I would point out about the Hawkeyes, they're getting contributions from the bench all of a sudden. Well, and you think about Iowa and Florida and I got a very fortunate under in that one at 145 and a half, landing 145. That was 145 and a half. And now you're looking at 139 and a half. It does feel like, hey, well, Illinois just played this grinder, you had 120 points. I don't know.

46:01Once again, I don't, I don't play totals a ton. I would probably look over if anything here. But initial lean, man, it does feel like it's either like, is Iowa running out of steam or is just Ben McCollum, that guy who can kind of grind it down and entorn him in. Look, the guys won four national titles, you know? Yeah, and I don't think he's going anywhere. I think he's staying at Iowa. I mean, you saw the old picture with him and was it the old coach? The old coach, yes. He used to go to camps at Iowa. So he gets it. All right. Before I let you go, we got one minute left. Yep, yep. Your favorite bet for the card for Friday, is it the St. John's Duke game? Is it the Tennessee play? What is your favorite of your bets? Yeah, so I mean, it does feel like a lot of people are on St. John's Duke under. I do like, that was my first bet of the sweet 16 was the under. Fand who I thought misprice at 143 and a half. So fortunate to have that. If we get back to 142, I still think St. John Duke under is a look.

47:02But man, the more and more I think about it, I really like Tennessee tomorrow. And I know it's Rick Barnes and I know he's had his struggles. But like, look, if Joshua Jefferson plays or not, he's not going to be full strength. I've liked what I've seen from this Tennessee team. Jacobi Gillespie is that dude. Nate immense. He's a lottery pick. I think if you had my favorite play right now, Dustin, I think take the four and a half at Fandall with Tennessee. I like the contrarian plays.
