Now Ross Dellinger is reporting it. The Southeastern Conference has scheduled a meeting Thursday to decide whether to terminate LSU as an SEC member institution. Pursuit the section 3.1.5 of the SEC Constitution and bylaws. You know what this reminds me of in some ways? This is the bear is going to Hammond. Like this isn't really going to happen, is it? 4:04From Anthony and Ken, Underwood reminds me of Caleb Williams, the armed talent and occasional ability to make an unbelievable throw is undeniable. But he has trouble with fundamentals and doing the ordinary, which a quarterback needs to do much more often than the extraordinary. He has not ready to play at this level and give him proper time in coaching to develop. He could be a top 10 NFL pick. The problem is they really do, do they have anybody else? And if, let's say it's Tommy Carr, who's a true freshman and he becomes okay if he replaces Bryce Underwood, then Underwood's probably going to transfer. Well, yeah, he may, but I say this all the time because we do this and I've said it about all of our teams. Don't get caught up in, nobody should get caught up in the agenda of just developing Bryce Underwood. They got their, their agendas to win games and in that process, they hope that they are

5:08developing. Um, Bryce Underwood looked onto what thing is not any kind of, there's, I don't want to say no defense of the way he's played because he's, he's a young developing quarterback. Well, you hope he's developing, but it's been, it's been very subpar, right? Yeah. Joe Rexrow just did a piece for the athletic comparing him and his growth curve to quarterbacks at similar times in their careers. And you know, he, what Bryce is going through is not unusual. Does he give some examples? He says the closest in terms of rankings was number two, Dante Moore, who got five starts in 2023 at UCLA. Check what they were saying about, see what they were saying about Moore, who might be the number one pick in the next draft after those rough early glimpses and compared to today's Underwood discussion. Um, you know, he, he, he basically compares it to a learning curve for a lot of young players. Which is true. The problem is in today's society of the portal and the lane kitchens of the world, people don't have patience to let guys develop. So, and I get it, right? I get it. You feel like the next guy has to be better. Right. Um, or it could be worse. And the other thing is people are fixated too much on what they paid them. So the problem and that, and I get why people say they're getting paid.

7:09How much money is in his bank account? Doesn't fundamentally change who he is as a person or as physical skill set. I, I totally agree with you. And that's why, like I said, I love for the actual game, but I love Saturdays. Once the game starts, the other stuff goes away. Yep. I don't care what a player got paid to go to Michigan, Michigan State or Ohio State, Alabama, LSU anywhere. Right. It doesn't change fundamentally their chances of success. They have to do the work still. If they don't get paid, they have the same chance to get, be successful as if they do get paid. The one thing I'll say in defensive Bryce, and it's, it's not that he's not trying is his work ethic. Everybody says that he puts in all of the effort. But you know, at some point, there got to be results and they got them, they got to win games. They got to win games. So two, four, eight, five, three, nine, 97, 97. This is not a year that Michigan was expected to compete for the national championship.

The most encouraging thing came from the story in the athletic that had unnamed coaches and general managers and people that worked in football around college football that said three of 19 people said they might be a sleeper for the college football playoff.
