Freight rail does more than move goods. It drives America's economy. Every dollar invested generates another $2.50 in economic activity spurring growth from farms to factories. And here's the best part. Freight railroads fund their own infrastructure, saving taxpayers' billions while powering the economy forward, from reducing highway congestion to delivering goods safely and efficiently. Freight rail keeps America moving. Learn more at AARC.org slash America's engine. Oh, Joey, another day, another bus delayed. Look on the bread side. You can finally catch up on podcasts. Ice coffee from McDonald's, any size for just 99 cents to 11 a.m. Pricing participation may vary. Cannot be combined with any other offer. All right, so Baldi, I just want to give a genesis of a car morning for you. I was, I'm going through Twitter and I think, and who can we have on to talk drafts and who's doing interesting things? And then of course, Baldi pops up. And the first guy you're talking about is Gabe Yaccus. I think I said it wrong. No, I think. Yaccus. Yaccus. Yaccus. Yaccus. Yaccus. Yaccus. Yaccus. Whatever. I don't care. The dude can play. You're the jacket. Yeah. I am clearly. That's my bad. I wrote it down five times. I still got it wrong. That's terrible. But regardless, this is an Illinois guy. So there's going to be a lot of

interest for for local people, ILL. And the Bears needing edge and maybe you'll be there at 57 too. like I you know this is there's a wide range of worries gonna go what what if the bears went that direction would a would you like it and and be just underlying what specifically because I know you you're not targeting guys you don't like so what do you like about him now I would love it I would love it I think he's a perfect fit honestly like his size like he's he's almost six four six three and seven eight something like that he's six four he's over two sixty he ran well when I saw him at the scene but I was there for two days at the senior bowl he literally led every single drill he was the first guy out and I kind of liked that this sort of a leadership thing I saw the same thing from Mike Green last year when he's coming out of Marshall like he let every drill and so that kind of like he kind of popped for me but when I go back and I watch him I think he's a great looking prospect like I think he's got an NFL body I think he's got some twitch to him I think he's got some pass rush to him he plays the game really really hard like I know you got Austin Booker

I know they stay signed dayo from from Indianapolis but like I feel like that's a guy that could actually line up and play opposite Montez you know that has the necessary size they could set the edge you know they can be physical at the point like I feel and I feel like he can he could slide into an you know a variety of positions maybe you've replayed the three technique in a four man rush at times I like his upside well certainly with his size you know as you said 64 270 roughly certainly fits the prototype defensive end that Dennis Allen typically tries to employ so I think he sent something up there I'd love to get him in the third round selfishly as opposed to the second round but as Carm said I think his range of where he could go is kind of all over the map right now but I am curious to take you back to that left tackle situation at 25 you mentioned one guy but you didn't say anything about Kaden Proctor you know I've got a few buddies that do draft

evaluation that are absolutely in love with this guy and his rare size versus traits calling him the dancing bear you know do you think he's worthy of that 25th pick yeah I do I don't know if you'll be there I love Kaden I go to oil masterminds in Dallas every year Lane Johnson and Duke Manning weather started it and they kind of brought me on board so I've been there all eight years and like Alabama like NIL money some guys I guess buy cars but Alabama guys come to oil masterminds Tyler Booker Kaden's been coming two years around in fact I introduced Kaden Proctor to Tony Bisselli last year who was there and Bisselli kind of read in the riot act about you know make sure your weight is right make sure you like you're consistent like I thought he had a really good year like he's he's the most ready to play left tackle this draft I don't care what anybody wants to put up against him that guy he can flat out play he's the most physical guy in the run game that there is right now he moves big bodies he is over 350 I think he wears it well he six foot seven

he's a good guy good personality on him I don't know like there's nothing about Kaden Proctor and I guess all big guys got to worry about does the weight get to 370 and then you got to really worry like I don't see that from him he looks like he's a worker but Kaden Proctor is a me to me like he's the most ready to play left tackle this draft hey it'll be if the Bears go that way at 25 I will be surprised but I can never leave it off the table because of Ben Johnson I won't at the same time I won't hate it either you know listen but you I still think that they're they want to play but he's he's gonna put in the working in the off season two because he started the year the season at 390 he was at 352 at the combine he said that's his ideal playing weight yeah um I'm looking for more I'm I'm still focusing on the defensive side of the ball uh let's let's talk let's talk linebackers here Anthony Hill CJ Allen um somebody well let's start with Anthony Hill because um yeah Stephen our producer here was high on him going into the combine and I saw

your baldy breakdown of Anthony Hill and I'm just from talking to him at the podium was one of if not the most impressive people I talked to that week in Indianapolis just found him to be very confident insightful detailed mature there was just so many green flags just talking to him and then obviously you really showed on tape why he's special well I mean he's he's been the anchor to Texas defense they've had a lot of guys fly off the boards over the last couple of years you know deep into the playoffs and um you know I was I just happened to watch a blive this year I did the Texas OU game um and I did the Texas Texas A&M game so I was around the team down the field before the game warmups like he has the right approach to it like I think I believe he's the top 40 player in this draft like I said it's a very good and deep draft for inside linebackers and look at me you uh you play at at that level in that conference and you stay healthy and you

produce the way he's produced like you have to you have to take him as literally a guy that you can plug and play pretty seriously though but you know people people there's some people that just love him because of his production and his overall skill set he's not going to come off the field you three down linebacker um there's a lot to like about anti hill so let's let's talk safety now uh we'll get back to linebackers but let's just let's just assume that I mean look I've seen it mocked recently we're both a manual McNeil Warren and Dylan Thinamann are both off the board by the time the Bears go at 25 that's that's that's that's at least on the table so then you go down on the list Wheatley Clark Johnson Jacobi Thomas the you I'm trying to figure out somebody that's in that 57 to 60 range that could go um anybody jump out at your body that you like there I put a little pressure on you right now but uh yeah I don't know if I if I know enough about some of those

guys that are day two right now uh still I'm still a month away I mean I look Thinamann is he looks like he's just in a box safety he actually plays like the rat position in Oregon like he's in the middle of field they just let him just go to the ball and just fly to the ball and just go blow things up um he you know when you lose your two starting safeties like you have like you know he might be there at 25 but like I would be I'd be really I'd be drooling to try to get a guy like that um and you know normally see safeties um some of years they don't get a safety drafted in the first round you know like you get these guys in free agency um but that's a guy that I would target um is one of my five guys at number 25 right now if he was available if you're living with wet age-related macular degeneration or diabetic macular edema you know the importance of eye injections to preserve your vision but keeping up with frequent injections can feel

overwhelming what if there was a different way to maintain your vision while potentially reducing the burden of your treatment schedule giving you more time to do what you love if you're looking for an alternative to your eye injections visit tired of shots dot com to learn more for a limited time get one of these jimmy john sandwiches jimmy chips and a drink for only eight dollars and ninety nine cents choose the fan favorite turkey tom with all natural turkey or the pepe with smoked ham and provolone the eight ninety nine meal deal at jimmy johns oh that's good limited time at participating locations valid on turkey tom and the pepe eight inch homie foods chips and regular fountain beds upcharges apply on bottle beds premium sides and desserts not valid with other offers tax add-ons extra it'd be more of a Ryan pace move than a Ryan polls one but like he he might be willing to give up the one of the fifty seven and or the sixty and move up like three spots to secure that he got the guy i mean that that that's something he would do and then i would scream at him for doing that baldy but if that but if that happened you know it would you would you hate it hated or would

you be like i get it man you know go get your dude if you if you know i what whatever your intel is if one of the safety's goes i don't know i don't know like safeties are so valuable because honestly if you make a mistake on the back end and the defense you give up touchdowns like whether it's a bad tackle bad angle don't play the ball in the air properly i mean you're giving up touchdowns in his league um especially you know you're going up against uh you know you're going to green bay or you're you're nemesis in the way that they get the ball over the top like you better have good safeties that can tackle and you know and don't make mistakes communication wise on the back end and so you better get that thing fixed or it doesn't really matter what you do up front and what you're doing the corners like that ball is going to go over your head or you they're going to go down the field for long runs and so give me a guy that can tackle and and and you know you're not going to save lives but you know you can save touchdowns with good tackling safeties right now save my life i i make it be more nervous about the

buyer decision by the second with that with with uh what's that conversation right there let's let's shake out this defensive tackle situation because i think that's obviously going to be potentially a big spot you know at 25 for the bears you know i i saw a report this morning that confirms that the bears are going to have a top 30 visit with Kaden Proctor at Ohio State i'm a little more curious about Peter Woods from Clemson i what came down i'm sorry if i said it wrong but i'm i'm a little more uh curious about yeah i'm i'm sorry if i said it wrong Peter Woods um yeah yeah uh Peter Woods i just feel like there's just such a wide range of opinion on Peter Woods i see some people that love him that will run to the podium for him at 25 and then i see other evaluators saying bust written all over him i just don't understand how it can be that far apart in the opinion of one Peter Woods uh because these guys they don't have to do in college like they've got you know they've got

such a rotation when you look at it woods they have such a rotation at Clemson at Georgia so these guys aren't they don't have to be on the field on third and twelfth affecting the passing game it's just a different game and so then you're trying to project are they going to be good pass wrestlers do they know how to rush the passer do they know how to get on the edge do they know how to push the pocket like you know i mean filled out if you just paid Jordan Davis he's had one good year in his whole career because he couldn't manage his weight and he wasn't on the field on third downs and so but last year he got himself in a shape it was a contract year he got paid you know you're you're looking at these guys leaving free agency and they get paid a boat loan of money because they actually can rush the passer and that's the question like you can find runstoppers on first down but initially you got to affect a quarterback and so that's the question whether it's Peter Woods right now or Kristen Miller at Georgia whatever like you can look at these guys and and honestly it's just a projection because if you watch some of these offenses the balls

out of these quarterbacks hand so fast that you never get a chance you know you're still play action passes in college there's no seven step drops there's none of this stuff in college and so you really you have a hard time evaluating some of these guys because they don't have to do the things that you have to do at the NFL level do you see cold and hood as an elite corner ball or just a guy no I see him as an elite corner I really do I met the kid at the senior bowl this year he came he came running up to me after one of the praxis introduced himself I think you you watch him like he think played press man coverage at Tennessee he didn't look afraid to get his hands on guys and then he can he can run with you the way you got to be able to run he's 640s 190 pounds he's got the size you need I think he's got two years of experience at Tennessee going up against you know elite receivers every week I'm a big and then you're just watched the way you ran and ran through the drills at the combine I've watched him pretty pretty intensively like he just looked super smooth to me looks like a guy that you know can fit in

and you know some of these guys at the corner position you got to draft them at the top of the first round because you just because that that talent doesn't last very long in the draft he's mock late first round and the Bears are talking best player available and you got Jaylen coming off an injury and they're falling out of favor with Tyreek and it's like well I mean premium position I didn't understand that like I didn't understand them not resigning nation honestly like that guy if Jaylen was healthy I don't know he could beat him out last year like the guy did everything and he six four and he can play any style like I thought he was awesome to let him walk to the jets like that I thought that was one mistake in pre-agency because he didn't cost the jets a lot I think the jets paid five million dollars for him right like I thought that guy proved that he's a starting corner in his league yeah people speculate too he's going to get paid that bears are going to lose the will he didn't get paid and he was successful here and Al Harris likes him and it's not a lot of money well I'll say this much I from all your baldies breakdowns

the the guard from Penn State that you're completely in love with there's nothing more fun watching you break his tape down today he's the most fun guy like I remember when landed Dickerson came out of Alabama I'm like oh my god anybody that's getting his landed Dickerson they're gonna be so good like he just enjoy just dumping people to the ground and like the Penn State was so smart like they just moved him around and then they didn't even like they just basically said we're it's like flag football like we're just gonna run over here like we don't care if you know like good luck trying to stop this guy like we're gonna we're gonna drag him across like a tight end and just go let him block the defense of him with the running start and he just plants him into the turf like it's a spring flower like there's nothing this guy they they enjoy that he has and putting people in the ground it's just like he's the undertaker he just enjoys putting people into the ground it's yeah you can't have any more fun in the film room then watch it like looks like a dad running through the living room just throwing his kids into the couches like it's a

hilarious to watch but I know that real well I love doing that with my niece and nephews man absolutely but real quick before you go we didn't have from our our guy in the chat transchita asking about Danny Dennis Sutton to flip it to the other side on Penn State the defense event anything you know about him or you know should the Bears have him on his radar well he was that he was impressive he was impressive at the senior ball when I saw him live like just his twitch he's got some twitch to him wasn't the biggest guy out there but I thought he was impressive in his workouts at the senior ball like I've watched more of him there than I did at Penn State although I saw him at the Penn State pro day last year hanging around like I just thought there was a guy that you know has you know day two type draft ability that could be developed last one for me baldy and we appreciate the extensive time or Mike Washington I hadn't really paid much attention until I saw you called him out running back Arkansas and bears had a ton of success last year with my nun guy but Deandre so it's going to be a free agent

so and this guy I'm watching his table it's like oh got some physicality here got some got some wiggle you like him no one's talking about him I don't know why I mean Arkansas was terrible they fired her coach last year all that stuff is true but honestly that guy at 225 27 pounds and running the four threes like his his speed and size combination and then just the way that he can explode like he is I don't know why people aren't talking about I think he's the one guy in this whole draft that I know look I understand that Notre Dame you know he's got two backs that everybody loves and I get it but how far away is Mike Washington Jr. from those two guys at Notre Dame because he he he looks like physically he looks just as good as as love or price you know to me right now yeah baldy I'm gonna piggyback off of that a little bit because Mike Washington just had the best red score we've ever seen at the NFL combine a perfect 10 you mentioned the size

there you don't you don't typically see a 4 3 3 40 at 612 23 and you know and this red scores is out of over 2,000 running back scores since 1987 so I mean he is a freak athlete you have over six yards for carry in college too I'm kind of with you I'm not I'm not really understanding why more people aren't talking about him I don't you know I don't know either honestly like I just think like that guy's going to get carries next year you know if my none guy can do what he did for the Bears last year in the seventh round I mean this guy is bigger and Kyle is good I love them like he broke a lot of tackles last year but this guy is bigger stronger and faster all right and I don't know you want to build your I mean everybody wants to be able to run the football in this business Seattle just lost the MVP and they got a guy that's injured in sharpening like is Seattle going to pass on Mike Washington Junior they don't seem to make many mistakes in the draft like you put that guy in that offense behind an experienced good offensive line like that guy is going to run for over a thousand yards snoring gasping during sleep
