Baldi, what's up, brother? I hate when I do that. What's up, brother? I hear you. I hear you with the Michael's house. I hear you. I had the Michael. Baldi. So we've heard a big, I mean, a lot of changes with the Eagles. When I talked about the Eagles, then talked to you about the little bit

1:01about the game tonight and tomorrow. One of the biggest changes for the Eagles, offensively, is new offensive line coach and then a new scheme, really, for the offensive lineman. And one of the things we've heard from the offensive lineman, almost all of them, is they like this and they think this will make life easier on them a little bit. The way they're doing it now, why wouldn't offensive lineman look at what they're doing now compared to what they did before and think that their life might be easier this way? I'll tell you why. There's going to be six to eight, maybe 10 plays a game. Where really all you're doing is telling the run. And you can just tee off on guys. It's up to the quarterback to say, Juan, drop back. But you're going to get a free run at defense lineman. This week, the Ron pain, Javon Kinlaw. I mean, these guys inside could just tee off on these guys. And then the boot, and rather than just being a shotgun every play and every pass, like you got to be good, you got to be on.

2:03You better perform your techniques perfectly because anybody that escapes quickly is going to affect the play. And so there's six to eight, 10 plays, where they're really going to get a chance just to tee off and just go whack somebody pretty good and just sell that run. And that's one of the reasons why they think it's going to be a little bit easier into this. But by the way, just watch the preseason. Like everybody's under center. Everybody's running this style of offense right now. I don't see anybody that was sitting in shotgun the way, you know, Kevin Petula had been sitting in it for most of the year last year. It's all changing. So I've had so many coordinated changes and head coaching changes just like right now. Yeah, talk about the effectiveness of that running game working and how that's going to marry with the passing game. And how they're going to be able to use that passing game more effectively all for that running game, primarily from an under center standpoint. Well, you know, honestly, like the last 10 years, say one, whether at Penn State, you know, with the Giants or with the Eagles,

3:04he's been a shotgun back. He's been next to the quarterback, five yards behind point of entry back, really for the first time in his whole life. He's going to be eight yards deep. And he's going to have, you know, he's going to let the place really develop kind of you always kind of feel the hole you see. You feel it, then you see it. You see the second level. And that's when Sequon gets his big runs, like he did two years ago, and he runs for 2,000 yards, he was really manipulating linebackers as he was coming through the hole. He's going to get eight yards now with a chance to do that. And so it's going to be interesting to see how Sequon adjusts. There's always a little bit of marriage between the back and the line. That's what preseason and the offseason has really been about Chris Cooper. You know, if I know you've met him, I keep a good teacher. He's a good guy. He's a full of player. He's got everybody's attention over there. It's different to the style. But everybody is, you know, really, I think bought into what they're doing. But the key is, can Sequon and the backs really,

4:04you know, figuring this thing out from eight yards deep. And then if that works, the play action pass is going to pop. It's going to open up for sure. Well, oh, sorry, go ahead, I was going to say, Bart again, you anticipate Sequon being involved in the passing game with this offense. Or is it, A, do you think he does you have that ability and B, do you think that'll be something to Sean Mann and corporate somewhat of a, not I guess as much as McCaffrey gets in the passing game, but maybe a smaller version of that. I hope so. He's a good receiver. The Giants at times put him in the slot. They put him out there and more than just green passes or check downs. They put him in routes. Yeah. He's got great hands. And so I hope they use him. I mean, I think the best offenses in the league right now are using their backs in the passing game. And so, you know, you watched your mere Gibson in passing game. You watched McCaffrey in the passing game. There's no reason why Sequon can't go out there and catch, you know, 60, 80 passes this year. I expect him to. Baldi, you know, it's interesting. One of the things you brought up about Sequon

5:06is the offenses he's played in because he's never been perceived as a back that just goes north south, right? He's a guy that sort of dances a little bit and he's not a guy that's just going to run straight ahead. But then you think about the offenses he's played in and it's not really been the signature of what the offenses are. I really do think the way you explain it. I mean, I think if this works out, this could and Sequon adapts well to it. It really could extend his prime. Like the, you know, the amount of time that Sequon is really a dominant running back. If this works for him, I think he could probably change the trajectory of his career. Well, I mean, you know, the guy, I don't think he's lost any speed. You know, he can still run away from you. We saw it at Times Lashar. He's always needed a runway. He's a guy that's just going to, he doesn't have the quickest start stop that a lot of guys do. But if you give him a runway like two years ago, he's going to take it to the house and he's just going to outrun people. But, you know, I think he's spent most of his

6:07probably only golf course. That's what he likes to do because he wasn't, he did not have to re-appear any injuries. And so he's come to fill in. He's been basically injury free. Yeah. And so when you're only about to get a chance to just take four or five months off and, you know, go tee off, you know, for 30 or 40, you know, afternoons a year on the golf course like he does, like that's just rest on his body right here. And he didn't get hit in the preseason. I would think he's going to be very fresh, very healthy, very fast and very productive this year. Knowing what you know about him, what his skills are, what he's been good at, what he's not been good at, how optimistic are you that he takes to this adjustment and he ends up getting a real hold of it. Well, I remember, I spent time with Parks Fraser,

7:08the quarterback coach. The son of season and they spent a lot of time on the footwork because if the footwork really is, is very, very key. Everything from, you know, fake in the wide zone to handing up in the wide zone to, you know, the back passes from the center like it's a lot of footwork. And you know, just talking to Parks, he's like, he has worked hard at this. Like I think he's very committed. I think he sees what Matt Stafford just did, what Sam Donald just accomplished. He's looking at what some of the quarterbacks are doing to the league where, Sherr Goth has been doing and Detroit. And I think if you want to be a top five offense and I'm sure, you know, jail is no different than those guys, you've got to get under center. You've got to do the play-action pass. These, if you're not doing this right now, maybe these defenses are sitting back in these, you know, two safety shells and taking away the deep shots. Like you're not going to get the deep ball this league unless you can really run the ball from under center and then just play action pass and get the, the effects of that play-action working.

8:10I think jail has seen enough film of what this thing is supposed to look like to see where to go with the ball. I think it's going to be easier for him to get the ball out of his hands and see the progression of one to two. Like I don't, it's going to, in play-action, you really have to worry about getting the three. I think one to two is, is, is pretty, it's pretty drawn up in most of these cases. And he's always been a very accurate deep ball thrower. I mean, you think about the touchdown to debonching a Super Bowl against the Chiefs. You think about some of the deep balls to AJ Brown over the years. Like he has got a good touch on the deep ball. He's going to get a chance in this play-action passing in to take those shots. And you know, if he connects on, you know, the percentage is, I think that's probably in his head right now. I think this thing is going to have, I think we're going to see some real good life. And really, we're going to talk about probably jamming in a different light than maybe some of us have over the last couple of seasons. But the Eagles have the most talistic defense in the NFL. I think so. I think they do.

9:10You can put ramps up there, you know, fair and dodgy whenever he's, you know, is ready to play. The Rams are right there with their defensive front that they have the corners. I got, but I think the Eagles are better at linebacker than the Rams. They don't have Zach Bond. They don't have Jihad Camp left. They think it's ready to explode this year. And they don't have those two monsters inside. They might be a little bit better at safety than the Eagles. That's the one weakness. They don't have much depth at safety. And so if anything happens right now, I think there's a little bit of a question mark there. But overall, from the depth to the past, rushers to the corners, I'd say the Eagles are up there against anybody right now. So Baldi, tomorrow night, the Rams and the 49ers play. And if I know two things about Brian Baldi, or one football, to travel guy. So as much as you've traveled, what do you think about the 49ers deciding to get to Australia days and days before to adjust? And the Rams decision to just get in there and play the football game and get out. If known what traveled us to your body

10:11and the adjustment that it takes, what do you think is doing it the right way? I think the 49ers are. I know the Rams have done this only east when they've gone to London and they've won two games over there. Going west is different. Across the international date line, arriving that morning, the worst jet lag I ever had was going to the Merrick Cup races in Perth, Australia and landing at Sydney and thinking like, I just got hit by a mat truck. I don't get jet lag. I usually could just roll. That was the worst ever. And I did drink the whole flight. So that maybe that's something to do with it. But it was a bit tension. So I don't think Miles Garrett is doing that. Hopefully. I think it's a mistake. I don't know if this is not going east to London. And I know it's 11 hours from London. To get to London. And I know it's probably 15, 16 hours to get to Sydney. I think the 49ers did this right. I think these players are going to check off tomorrow night. Are you, I mean, the Rams are massively

11:12talented on top of a team that was very good last year. They didn't get to the Super Bowl. They were very good. The perception is it's sort of like the Rams and everybody else. Do you think that's right? Or do you think there are other teams in their class? Well, I think Seattle is in the class. I think Philadelphia, you know, to play with them. As this offense really kind of gets going. The big question mark is, that staffer was really the runaway MVP of the late last year at age 37. It didn't take a single snap the preseason. And just, you know, went through the whole 20 games and was the MVP. But can you expect a guy at 38 to do the same thing again? Like that's the question. Because if they got to go to Stesson Bennett or Ty Simpson, if we're any period of time. And in your past, that staffer has missed some games. And so that's the question mark is, that's a lot to ask for 38-year-old quarterback to duplicate what he just did. If he does it again, then they're the class of the late. Because he's just that good. And the way that he can, whether it's the no-look passes or the stick throws right in the, you know, the teeth aligned,

12:16the dent of the line right there in the teeth and the defense to Puka and Devante. Like just nobody that is willing to make those throws in the middle of field the way he is. But it's just the trust he has in his arm and the accuracy he has. If something happens to him, then just whole thing, you go sideways. All right, Baldy. No, the NFL is kicking it all right way. I think, you know, we get our nor game tonight. Get the repeat of the Super Bowl, Super Repede. And then we get the NFL's top team. The Rams got come into the season. You get them going to get one of their rivals. Are you buying them? Are you buying the Rams as good as advertised? Yeah, I think they're going to be good. I don't know if they're going to be as good as everybody thinks they are. Right. But I don't know how you can't be good unless they get injured. Well, I think, no, you know what I mean? I hope they not be good unless they get injured. Well, well, Paul, he said is the right is, is absolutely correct. I don't think you can just, you assume that Matt's effort is going to be great. Mm-hmm. But you get to a certain age and I don't know if you can just assume that at some point one year, it's not going to be there.

14:18Well, it takes us to hit. Yes. Especially with him, he's older. So Paul is right. You get him knocked out for a few weeks. He says even four weeks, hey, what does that four week occur? Yeah. Four weeks occur and then be, what is that through your record and playoffs? That puts you on the road versus you would have been a number one scene with a buy week. Yeah. Right. So that can affect your ability to get to the subo. If this team isn't healthy all year long, that's the only thing I can really see is that if they're not healthy, then you got to, but if they're healthy and click, I don't know how they don't click. How Matt the Stafford knows that offense in and out. They're already playing. Yeah. I mean, they were good last year. They were great last year. The only real changes are defense and really what they did is just add talent in the secondary and add talent. They're not for LeBron and Jalen Brown. Yeah. The Rams may have had the greatest offseason to any team in sports. Incredible. This upseason. Yes.

15:18Incredible. To think that you got rid of Jereverse and somehow you upgraded. Upgraded. That's crazy. And to get to, I mean, two pro bowl corners and one all pro and one pro. And that was the weakest part of their defense last year. Yeah. They should be pretty good. They should be pretty good. But you got to, you still got to win the game. You got to do it. Yep. You got to do it. How excited are you for real football tonight? I'm geeked. I'm geeked. I'm geeked. I got to listen. I got to put my head on red head on the night man and and be a Seahawks man. Yeah. I don't need AJ. I don't need AJ going for 130 and two touchdowns tonight. I don't need that. Oh, dude. You managed tomorrow. 138 two touchdowns. Patriots win. I will say this though. You know what though? I don't know if I will be rooting for the Seahawks tonight. No, we'd rather be rooting for the Patriots win for the Eagles. Yes. Yes. Think about that for a second. You got to see how I was in NFC.

16:19Yeah. We can be fighting him for some sort of home field advantage. So give them a loss. Yes, absolutely. Yeah, just AJ. You can have four catches for 35 yards. Y'all like a girlfriend that I keep peeping in or don't even want to listen to you, but I got to listen to you. If you what you're talking about, I cannot take the L. And the vise man, look, let's not sleep in on a smitty man. You gotta remember, smitty won the highs, man. Had almost 2,000 yards. It saw all the best corners that year, man. The boy errors are 148 yards a game. He put 231 on Derek's family in three cuties. He saw the shine waves. He saw the Eric Stokes. This dude was named Saul, but the corners that went number one in the SEC. The boy came in his first year with a doubtful who Jaylin was gonna be and still got 916

18:25yards. He got 5,000 yards since he been here as a sidekick. Don't sleep on some of them, Reaper, man. I was talking about he was too skinny. Now he loved him. And I told him, I said, yeah, we got one. I was like, but yo, it's the only way a buck six. I said, I need not one. Now listen to that. I don't know, man. Don't sleep in the slim Reaper, man. That boy going to go off. I'm telling you, man. Who is sleeping on? We're sleeping on that man on Sunday. We can't get in on Sunday. Who's sleeping on? You know truthfully, truthfully. And I hope he's great and he's obviously been a really good receiver. There's been almost. He will be great. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. There's been very little question about whether Devante will end up being a number one receiver, especially with this is when the drop off from the number two wide receiver, think of this way. It goes agent of advantage. Okay, Devante is very good. I don't think he's as good as AJ, but he's very, very good.

19:25But the drop off from the number two wide receiver goes from Devante to Dantevian Wix. That affects Devante too because Devante doesn't have Devante on the other side. So I look, everyone just, I think just assumes that Devante will be a very good number one receiver. I don't think anyone's sleeping on him. I think everyone's just assuming he's going to be really good. I'm just asking the question. He was named. Yeah. That one game don't get back popping. So you ain't going to be on him like you want to. We're going to have some surprises on offense. We still got got it with name for 14 games. What's next? We just got to worry about the three day here and there ain't any of that because he'll take some attention. It's really going to get his, but I'm telling you, city will be top five receiver at the end of this season. I really believe it. That boy is a beast. Let me touch on something real quick. I said, what's the answer? I'm so glad, Cory, I asked me that question because he's a really in there. Nope, nope, nope, nope. I mean, nothing. Now he said me. I said, I was like, I love my wife. But he said, really? Nope, nope, nope. I didn't know I literally had to try it.

20:30It was a try. All right. Well, he's right. Yeah, he's right. No, he's right. And no, he asked, Cory asked me and did not. I want to put you in that situation. Yeah, thank you. We've been a tough one. We've been a tough one. We've been a tough one. You handled it well. Well, I mean, I'm a folded. Yeah. Well, also, you know, Cory asking that, I'm 50. I'm not going to throw. Yeah, I was like, oh, you got your choice. But you're really, I'm like, what? I got about nine o'clock, you know, I want Cons to start at six with no open band. You know, I've one drink. I'm cooked. That is me. So I don't need some wildlife. Yeah. You kid me, man. Yeah, we were stealing wildlife. Oh, dude, you know, what I've started over the last two weeks, this weird dizziness thing, that's two weeks. Well, you know what? I'm going to try to get seven or eight hours of sleep every day because I was it five and a half six. Yeah. You know, it feels way better.

21:31You can sleep at seven hours straight. If I go to bed at, if I go to bed at 10, wake up at five, or go to 11, wake up at six, I can do it. Yeah. Dude, I had a couple go to bed at 10 and wake up at six, eight hours. Yeah. Now, I'll get up at four. And if the force myself back to sleep, you know, because my body's not used to it, but it feels great. Yeah, I sleep at four hour increments. Four hours. Oh, not by choice. Yeah, you just get up. It says you're what it is now. Yeah, yeah, get up in the middle. Didn't make it go to the bathroom. That's going to take an hour to go back to sleep. Yeah, you know what you're going to do? You just got to like strap on like a bottle or something. What's the bottle? A bottle of that way. You don't have to get up to go to the bathroom. I'm going to let that go. Two on five. That go. We don't have to let it go. No, let it go. Let it go. All right. Two on five, five, nine, two, nine, four, nine, four. I was just going to dig a deeper hole for myself. Yes. No one to watch you.
