In a surprising statement, 28-year-old Karoline Leavitt has just announced she will be resigning her role as White House Press Secretary at the end of the month. Leavitt just returned from maternity leave after the birth of her second child mid July but, in her announcement, said she felt in her heart she couldn’t be the mom she wants to be and, at the same time devote the constant time and energy required of the job.
