This, this is carrying to me. Now what assigns you reckon that a wedding shouldn't go ahead? Um, Colfee from one of the potential partners. Yep. Yep. Um, I don't know, one of them cheats maybe. Yeah, that's a big, yeah. Do you want me to keep going or... Well, what's the sign? Because it's tricky, because there's a sign that things are going to be good, which I believe rain on your wedding day is actually a good sign. It's not? Isn't it? It's not a sign is a good thing. Is it? I don't, I think famously it's not, but isn't it a good thing? If it rains on your wedding day. I thought it was seen as a good luck charm. I do know that weddings have been at where it started pouring with rain. It's been like just made the whole thing so crazily hectic that it becomes magical. Well, I want to take you to a wedding in the Philippines. No, just here. What happened? I don't have Philippines music. Oh, here we go. Oh, passes the coconut. Let's have some fun.

So a bride in the... I can not like coconut. I assume we're sitting on the beach in the Philippines. Oh, wow, we thought we were at a wedding. Oh, we're not there yet. Oh, sorry. It's fine. And actually, we're probably not sitting on the beach, because the reason we're bringing the stories there's been... Even heavier than usual monsoon downpours in the Philippines. And a bride, Lian Lisa Chico, was going to marry her partner, Gilbert Chico. And the rain had been so bad that the church had flooded. Oh. And they said, hey, Mr. and Mrs. Chico, we... Are they married already? Why have they got the same name? I assume it's because now they have their marriage. Oh, okay, sure, sure. They said, hey, Mr. and Mrs. Chico to be... We don't reckon you should get married in the church. And they said, please, we're not scared of a little rain. And they said, what about if it's waste deep water? As you can see here, Carrie, waste deep water. Oh, my God, they're waiting. So the pews... They're waiting down an aisle that she's... The water is up to her waist. The pews are underwater in the church.

And she decided, because he said, the parish... Oh, parish, parish, parish. I like it. Called her and said, hey, it's off. And she went, no, no, it's on. And he went, okay. And so he had to go and stand down in there. And he was also up to waste deep water. As were the bridesmaids and the grooms in there. Yeah, bridesmaids and grooms in. It's muddy flood water. Oh, no. And she's walking down in her white dress. Does it look like there's not a lot of guests there? No, because it's waste deep water. I think it's the ultimate sign of romance. Well, it cares whether it's dry or wet. We're just going to do the thing we want to do and marry each other. Well, I reckon the groom saw a trick coming because I don't know if this is a traditional Philippine, no thing, forgive me for being ignorant. But he wore a brown suit. Which, if in muddy flood water, there is no problem. No, I'm not. I love it. I'd love to be that wet in my wedding day. I think it's a great sign. Even if it's that brown. Not the murky thing.

But it's kind of cool because as she wades down through the water, her dress is flowing like the train is dressed. She looks kind of like a jellyfish from above. I'm telling you, I think it's absolutely beautiful. I'm all for it. I don't know why you're missing it. I reckon that is that they are going to have a long, happy life together. I thought you started this with a sign you shouldn't get married. No, I was asking what a sign you shouldn't get married. And you thought monsoon or rain was one of them? No, that's why I said rain on your wedding days are good signs. Oh, see, it's okay. Yeah, it's just trying to, you know, pad because otherwise it's just... Let me get on with it. Okay. People said it's great and they said it's not about the wedding. It's about the marriage in all capital letters, which is too much. A lot of people called it a wedding. I thought that was very funny. I'm 13. Good for baptism. Hey, it would have been... And let's get into muddy water. I don't know. 13.1060. I'd love to know. When did the show just have to go on? Right. What happened? Because in this case, it was way steep water, but it might be many other things.

When did the show just have to go on? Give us a call, 13.1060. Show my snow. Who's that? Well, who's that stink pile? Is that queme? Bit of queen. The rock-a-stead food band for the ages. A wedding over in the Philippines, they were going to go ahead and they said, hey, yeah, there we are in the Philippines. Music to my ears off that last. The first day for a wet wedding. Yeah, she is. A wet wedding. Carriedle. So it was going to go ahead and then they said, hey, the church is flooded and it's literally way steep water and they said, we don't mind. And the bride waited through, you know, white dress and the show went on. Tom, did a similar thing happen to you? Yeah, so my wife, she family tradition, they organized flash mobs at their weddings. Of dancers? Of dancers yet. So my wife, she had her brother's wedding coming up. She had done all the flash mob choreography and all that.

And then a few days beforehand, she needed emergency surgery. Oh, no. She ended up having surgery and then three days later, she pulled it together and did the flash mob and ran it all. Oh, great. So what was the song? What was the dance to? Oh, it was a mash up. So she mashed up all different songs, sent it to the DJ and then, yeah, each each dance went for maybe a minute and a half and there was about eight different dance. Can't miss that, Tom. No, it's unreal. When does, when does it turn into a flash mob? Like how many do you need? Is five considered a flash mob or are we talking like 20? There is probably over 20. Yeah. And is the flash mob bit that you're not expecting it? When is it just not a dance routine? No, so they do Skype or video phone calls to do rehearsals and stuff, leading up to the weddings. There was four siblings and there's been a flash mob at each wedding.

Oh, have you fun? Have you been welcomed into the flash mob fray yet? Have you been part of one? I have. I've been a part of two. Oh, that's sick. I love you. That's great. Good on you, Tommy. Thank you. Who you got, because? Hey, Kelly. Hi, we've all heard the expression. The show must go on. Did you live it out in real life? Yeah, it was, um, so I was busy giving birth and my midwife was rushing up the steps because the birthing suite was on the second floor. Tripped as she's coming up the step, tore her calf muscle away from the bone and was still right beside me right up until I gave it to you. Oh, my God, that's beautiful. Oh, yeah, Kelly, what a point did she do? She was amazing. What point killed did she hobble off to get herself some help? Um, well after the birth, she was, she just finished weighing my baby. Yeah.

And I was like, what have you done to yourself? You're hobbling a little bit and she goes, oh, I fell when I was coming up the steps and my leg really hurts now. Oh, I'm like, um, don't you think you should get that scene too? Like she was really hobbling. Yeah. Um, yeah, so she went downstairs to a different part of the hospital and she never came back. Oh, my God, she, everything's okay. And then she found out that she tore off the bone. Yeah, yeah. So I sent her a message just saying, uh, just check in that you're okay and she goes, I wasn't going to say anything because I didn't want you to like feel bad, but I was all about a big story. Good on you, Carol. Nurse is the best. Thank you. G'day, Jacqueline. Hello. When did the show have to go on? On my wedding day. What happened, Jacqueline? We woke up to our house in half the town, cut off from the main part of town, due to flood and the two bridges closed. So we couldn't get to our venue. Um, luckily the Celebrant, my parents and some of the wedding party coming up from Melbourne were on the right

side of town. So they came to our backyard and we got married there instead. Hang on, how did they get to, uh, you or you were all on the same side? Yeah, my best man, my husband's best man and my maid of honour were in town. So they had to cross the river, drive 100km west to cross the last open bridge and then come back down and they made it just in time. Did you think about like post-bony yet? No, because we cancelled the first one due to COVID. Oh, Jacqueline, you didn't want to do it again. You know how you said they made it just in time for the drive? Yeah. Wasn't it in your backyard? It was, but we had my 90 year old grandma sitting on a bench seat, so we didn't want to make her wait too long. Yeah, good on Jacqueline.
