Ice cold. Like those frozen cavemen they find, which makes you wonder, what would a cavemen think of Yeager Meister? Well, if you served it warm, you'd probably throw it in your face, say, unga-bunga, and storm off, and nobody wants that. Don't drink it cold or not at all. Yeager Meister. Damn.
That's cold. Drink responsibly. Yeager Meister, LeCure, 35% alcohol by volume imported by Master Yeager Meister, US White Plains, New York. Stopper with you. And this is Oilers Now, a little ZZ Top to open up with. Jam Packed edition of the show brought to you by our title sponsor, World of Spaws, the Image and Oilers on a four game road trip. This is game number three. They have impressive road victories over Vegas, a struggling team not playing very well. And Colorado, who'd won five straight, and are the best team in the NHL. Tonight's matchup features the two teams that have the combined best special teams in the national hockey league. Yes, indeed. Just to illustrate the point, the Oilers come in at a combined 110.3% they're 33.1% of the power play, 77.2% of the beat game. The Dallas Stars coached by longtime owners assistant in his second tour of duty here in Dallas, Glant Dulleson are 29.7% on the power play, 80.5% of the beat game.
That is at 110.2%. So the teams are the best, best special teams in the league when you add them up together, going at it tonight, Dallas, 12.0 and one in their last 13 games. They're only lost to the Colorado avalanche who stored back time in the game in the final couple of minutes, and then winning in a shootout, five to four. Jam Pack show, full preview of tonight's game. We will have an injury report for you fairly early in today's show at 335 Edmonton High time. That's the ability to build a legacy legacy. He didn't kill in while we got a little bit of a update on the orders now injury report for James H Brown and associates Alberta injury lawyers. The heavy hitters of injury law Trent Brown reinvented himself as a quarterback in use sports to a starting safety in the CFL and he was a big banger back in the day and you want the best results. Well, they got the most experience at James H Brown in personal injury law. So let's go to the injury report and an update on a couple different fronts right away here as we get into the orders now, Audio Vault 4, Direct Workwear.
The Oilers Now Audio Vault is brought to you by Direct Workwear in these type budget times. Direct Workwear is the superhero you're wallet deserves cute selection, low prices at Direct Workwear. So Chris Noblock first commented on Connor Ingram who was on the ice he'll back up Tristan Jari tonight. Ingram first he is good, he's healthy, he's not starting tonight but he is able to play if we need to. Bolton Doc and Ty Emerson both left the game against Colorado here's Chris Noblock. Those two went back to Edmonton, they're getting checked out and hopefully it's nothing too long term. Meanwhile Adam Henryk will make his return to the lineup after missing the last couple games here's Noblock. You know, good to go. So that's nice. It's a bit of a, you know, scared, not sure, you know, it ended up being better than what we originally thought. So that was good news and just try to get back as soon as you can and it's tough watching
the games. But the guys have played great the last couple games so just want to come in and continue that. Yeah, that was Adam Henryk, obviously not Chris Noblock, Noblock though did have a comment on how strong the Dallas stars defensive game is. I think believe their second and goals against they defend really well and when you do break through it, they get a lot of saves. But you know, for us, we got to make sure that we're not impatient because they do defend well and we probably have to just come to the realization that there's not going to be a whole lot of scoring chances for us tonight. And one of the focuses for the Edmonton owners over the last couple games has been urgency and, you know, from a Noblock perspective, it's been on the orders improvement in the defensive zone. We've been spending more time in the defensive zone, but that's a lot with our change into our structure. After the Olympic break, we made some adjustments to our defensive zone system. And you know, we give up a little more time in the defensive zone, but we wanted to give
up more or less from the slot and that's something we've spent a lot of attention on is not giving up those slot shots. And maybe the goalies are seeing more shots, but we want the chances to be just not as many great as scoring chances. Meanwhile, Matthias, Edcoma, had these thoughts on the urgency changing their defensive game. I think it's maybe the urgency of just understanding when to do what and not sort of speak. When you play these teams and you go on a road trip like this, it's kind of you get your attention, right? And everybody seems to be doing their job to close to 100% as possible. And you know, if you're going to have success against teams like we are on this road trip, you're going to have to. So I think the urgency level, for sure, I don't think we've changed anything in systematic or anything like that. I don't think it's more the urgency that's gone up. Others with a 4-2 victory, Sunday night in Vegas, a 4-3 victory in a fantastically played game in Denver, Colorado on Tuesday, the team flew here yesterday, morning skate today.
And again, at home, after the morning skate on the letters, rising to occasion. I think that's an exciting part about being in Edmonton orders that we've seen in the past and we've shown a time to time that when the stakes are the highest, that's when we rise to the occasion. So I thought I knew it was only going to be a matter of time. I mean, obviously nothing's finished or done yet, but at least now we've shown what level we can be and what teams we can hang with. I think that mentality in this group has always been that way where you're in a bad spot where you put yourself in a bad spot. That's always when we respond, so knowing that we have that in the group is a luxury itself and it's something that's hard to practice or, you know, manufacture. It's just got to have it sometimes and I know this group does and we just got to keep building. Emile Adam Henrique says the focus has to be on the orders. We expect to wait no matter who we're playing against.
The opponent sometimes a little thing has changed X's and O's, but at the end of the day just comes in within within the group in here and in this locker room and we know how we have to play and the guys have shown that last few games. There you go. Edmonton orders. There you go. Edmonton orders. It is three, 14 in oil country early into a break. Edmonton orders. Edmonton orders. Edmonton orders. Edmonton orders. Edmonton orders. Edmonton orders. Edmonton orders. Edmonton equality. Go all back 25 outline from social marketing. I'll get to the orders now. Game line purple work. But I do want to mention to you and just share your thoughts. Is it to premature? Do Judge were the orders are right now or conversely are there signs on the first two games of the road trip, especially given the limited five on five opportunities the orders have yielded that maybe the. Worm is starting to turn here so you give me your head space, where we at with the Where are we at with Edmonton right now? Uh, too short of a sample size? Or are there some positives?

All right. The image no letters come in with a road record of 16, 14, and 4. There are 32, 25, and 8 overall with a plus 10 goal differential. Number one in the league and the PowerPoint. Number two in the league and goals. Four per game. But 27th and goals against 26th on the peak gate. Conor McDavid up front with Ryan Newgen Hopkins and Zach Iman. McDavid on an eight game. Heater has two goals and 15 points. Leon Drysettel, Facili Patelson and Jack Russell that Drysettel has five goals. 14 points in the Eilers last six games. Eminence Power plays at 47% last six games. Jason Dickinson with Matt Savoy and Cassberry Kaupin and Josh Semansky. He'll play his ninth NHL game tonight with Adam Henry in Trent Frederick. Mattiasek home with Evan Bouchard. Bouchard on an eight game. Heater. He's got three goals and 15 points during that stretch. He leads all NHL defense on 75 points. Darnell Nurse with Conor Murphy. And Walman and Stashney will be the third pairing. There's a chance that Walman ends up over on the right side.
Goulton or Knight's Tristan Jarry. He's two and two at 2.38 goals against Averch and a 9-10 save percentage. All time against the Dallas Stars. Gouls starts. I would assert one of the five best goalies in the NHL. Jake Ottinger, but a guy that the Eilers have beaten two years in row in the playoffs. Ottinger this season, 26-10-5, a 2.65 goals against Averch. But a sub at 900 save percentage. He's at 8.99. Assault Lindell with Miro Heishkenin. Heishkenin, three goals, 12.17 career games against Emmett and Lee and Michelle. Along with Nils Lungquist, Thomas Hurley. Along with Tyler Myers. Wyatt Johnson with great career numbers against Averch and six goals, 14 points and 11 games. Jason Robertson's on his left wing. He's got nine goals, 21 points and 15 games against Averch and former 2021 first round pick Maverick Borg. Borg was the guy in shawitting and that really drove the line that Xavier Borg goes on.
The Eilers ticked Borg, 20 second overall in 21-1 pick before Wyatt Johnson. That pick hurt from Tyler Wright. Matt Dushin with Sam Steele and Jimmy Ben Ben will play game number 1235 tonight. Justin Ritz Kovian, his brother, is a high-end NCAA college free agent out of Northeastern. Ritz Kovian with bunting and former Oiter Adam Ernie. Play 24 games in oil country, back in 23-24. R2 Hurley along with Oliver Bach and Colin Blackwell's on a six NHL team came out of Harvard. So there's a look at the Dallas stars and we will mention in terms of injuries. And we already did the injury report for James H. Brown. Ty Emerson, we're going to call it Upper Body, Mattias Yamar, shoulder, Curtis Lazar, shoulder. They're both out, those two are on LTIR. Emerson, day-to-day, Upper Body, core issue for Colton Doc.
He's out day-to-day as well. Four Dallas, the Otters are catching a break here. No Miko Ranton, and he's out with the lower body injury along with Rope Hints. So two of their could argue, two thirds of their top line, but certainly two of their top six. Radic Faksa and Tyler Singen, also not available for the Dallas stars. Again, you can tax this at any time at 780-451-8800. Dallas, seventh and goals, four second and goals against. Second on the power plate, twelfth on the penalty kill. They don't have the greatest shot metrics. They've been marginally outshot this season and, like I mentioned, a good team in the face-off circle. Top five. There you go. That's their game day line-up report. We go to NHL today for elite promotional marketing near local brand and merchandise specials said to elite promo marketing dot com. And here's even ganna. Well, the league picks up today. Four team games on the NHL slate five Canadian teams, including the Oilers play Toronto Maple Leafs have the Anaheim Ducks at home.
Cal Reflames play the Devils in New Jersey. Vancouver connects at home for the Nashville Predators and the Winnipeg Jets host the New York Rangers. If Guinea-Dodonov was moved to the Vegas Golden Knights from the Ottawa Senators with a 10 team no trade clause in 2021. When Vegas tried flipping him in the next off season, it was blocked because Anaheim was on the list. Vegas claimed that they were never told he had a no trade clause and the league punish the Senators by taking away their first in either 2024, 25 or 26. Ottawa appealed and the league is changing the punishment. The Senators will have the 32nd pick in this draft no matter what. If they miss the playoffs, they are in the lottery. They can't win, however, wherever they end up, they'll move to 32 and every team behind them jumps up a spot. The Senators field condors back to it tomorrow. They'll take on the Texas Stars in Texas and the Edmonton Old King's dominating in yesterday's hockey hooky game smacking the Wenatchi Wild 6-1 in Rogers Place. They pick things up on Saturday against the Brandon Wheat King's for their Star Wars game. A 67-year-old grandfather fails to show up for a meeting with his son at a local tire shop, sparking a desperate search.
And he wouldn't be the only victim. I'm Global News Crime Reporter Nancy Hicks. You might listen to a lot of true crime podcasts this year, but they're not crime beat. Season 8 drops April 21st. But you can hear the first story now, one month early, only on Amazon Music. Alright, how long may the fourth be with you? T-Hubs is Texas on the Ashley Feinflore's text line at 324 Edmonton time. And he says, Bob, last year you said heading into playoffs that we didn't truly know what we had with the others. And Frank Saravoli called them the X-Factor in the playoffs. Maybe the underlying numbers don't suggest it now, but might we be insane something similar come April 18th? Well, that's what I want to know for you. Again, you can text us 780-451-8800. Where are we at with this team? Like, what do you think? What are we looking at here? How good of a squad do you think the orders are?
They've come up with a couple victories. They beat Vegas. I'm going to tell you right now. I think Vegas is, they're struggling a bit. I don't know if they're going to miss the playoffs, but they've not been as good a team as I think a lot of people thought. Colorado's a real team. And that was a real game. And I know Colorado was down a couple players, but the orders lost some players during the course like game. Colorado was the home team. That was a tough, tough game. And the orders found a way to win. Tonight is going to be another look-see at it. This text comes to us from Nanya. He says, Bob, apparently 29 teams have reached out to Vitaly Pinshuk out of the KHL. Hope the orders are one of them, a 24-year-old 6-3, 200-pounder. And in the KHL this year, 31 goals 64 points. Yeah. I think 17 is one of the 29 teams that have investigated Vitaly Pinshuk. We'll wait and see where it's at on that front. And the player that was signed today out of St. Cloud by the Calgary Flames gross.
It was interesting. You know, I would say this. I wouldn't be surprised if Edmonton was maybe in the final five or eight there, but Calgary had one huge advantage over the orders. Well, maybe two. Tyson Gross is the kid's name. Number one is father works for the Calgary Flames. And more importantly, the Flames have cap space. The orders have no cap space. So in order for Edmonton to burn a year on gross, they'd have to make a mover too. And that is problematic at this time of year, especially Edmonton really isn't in the position at this time to burn a year. Which is not to say that Calgary wouldn't have outright won it, but the fact that the Flames were willing to burn a year on an NCAA player from Calgary's father. I'm told there's some work with the Flames. I don't think you should be this. I'm actually happy that he is from Calgary went to a Western Canadian team. Again, you can text us at any time at seven eight zero. Four five one eight eight hundred.
Well, perhaps you should save your question of the day till tomorrow after the orders play a team that's 12-0 and one in their last 13 games. Well, I think there's been some positive signs, but those can go away quickly. Edmonton needs another good performance tonight. It is three twenty seven in oil country. And we got Ron McLean coming up, but not before the Thomas Dias, 880 News Weather Traffic Update. The comedy movie of Ben of the Year, Mike and Nick and Nick and Alice, coming only to Hulu and Disney Plus this Friday. Time to party. That's a great attitude. It's a time-travel egg, ass kick egg, movie of that. You sound insane. Starring Vince Vaughn, James Marston, and Ace of Gonzalez. I thought you were a clone. Well, clones aren't real, don't you? And time machines are super grounded in reality. Mike and Nick and Nick and Alice were together, written and directed by Ben David Gribinski, only on Hulu and Hulu and Disney Plus for bundle subscribers.
