Story Transcript:

Ja: 静かな春の日、東京の新宿御苑では、美しい桜が満開です。
En: On a quiet spring day, the Shinjuku Gyoen in Tokyo is filled with beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom.

Ja: 人々は桜の木の下に集まり、花見を楽しんでいます。
En: People gather under the cherry trees, enjoying hanami.

Ja: 柔らかな笑い声と、軽やかな桜の花びらがそよ風に揺れる音が広がります。
En: Soft laughter and the gentle sound of cherry blossom petals swaying in the breeze spread all around.

Ja: その中を歩いているのは、ハナとカイト、旧友です。
En: Walking among them are Hana and Kaito, old friends.

Ja: 二人は大学の頃の友人ですが、忙しい社会人生活でしばらく会うことができませんでした。
En: The two were college friends, but they haven't been able to see each other for a while due to their busy working lives.

En: The two unexpectedly reunited under the cherry trees and were very surprised.

Ja: 「久しぶりだね、ハナ！」とカイトが声をかけます。
En: "Hisashiburi da ne, Hana!" Kaito called out.

Ja: 「本当に偶然だね」と答えるハナの顔も、嬉しそうにほころんでいます。
En: "Hontou ni guuzen da ne," replied Hana, her face breaking into a joyful smile.

Ja: 二人は思い出話をしながら、園内を歩き始めました。
En: As they began walking through the park, reminiscing, Hana was conflicted inside.

En: She didn't want to disrupt her stable life, but she wanted to reclaim her former self.
