It is inside the sorry context that I am going to anoint the sons as regular season champions for the 2025-26 season and that's because their victory last night in Memphis was their 42nd of the season which guarantees them a winning record which is an amazing achievement given the rock bottom perception of the franchise after the failed Kevin Durant experiment.
