BEST Budget AirBNB in Sarasota, Florida

0:00All right y'all we are outside of Sarasota, Florida in Bradenton, Florida. This is the Airbnb that we stayed at and I believe that these types of Airbnb's, I'm not gonna say this particular one, but these types of Airbnb's are the best budget way to be able to travel and I want to talk about that as we go through this tour right here. So first of all you have one entrance right here but you also have another entrance right there. There's a few steps that you have to go up to be able to get in but I want to highlight the little outdoor area here. They have a couple of chairs and tables right here. They do have a hose right here if you do need to utilize the hose and then they also have a little area over here where you could sit down, have coffee, maybe have a little outdoor meal if you wanted to and if you come during the cold season which I'm not too sure when the cold season is here in Florida but they do have a little fire pit right here that you can light up and they have some propane underneath there to be able to get this thing going. I tested it out

1:00just because I was curious and it worked just fine. A couple of extra seats right there. There's that like a little rocky garden area right here to kind of block the next home over right there and I did see like a few little lizards and things through here which was super fun. So I really like this little outdoor area right here just kind of come and relax every morning. I'd grab my coffee, go stand out and the sun comes sit down right here. It was just a nice way to start the day. I do also like that this is all covered and it extends out over the vehicle right there and that's important because here in Florida whenever that sun is beating down it gets hot and it warms up cars very fast. So I really like that they have an overhang for your vehicle so that it doesn't get as hot in your AC. Doesn't have to work as hard. This is a storage cabinet. It's a lock you can't go into there but let's go ahead and go on up these steps right here and into your Airbnb. So a nice big open floor plan just simply has this one wall divided right here.

2:02Whenever you first walk in you just simply have one of these smart locks right here and very easy to use. You just simply put in the code that they give you. Put your press little finger button on there and then it will unlock for you and you are good to go. We didn't have any issues with it. They do recommend that you download the app because it makes it a little bit easier to get in but we didn't have any trouble with that so that was unnecessary. Got nice beach decor all around so you'll probably come into the beach here but you have this nice big dining room table right here and I love Airbnb's that have a huge dining room table because we're a family of five. It gives us room to be able to eat and throw down some extra stuff since you have that extra space right there. You do have a nice kitchen right here. You have a few small countertop spaces all throughout and then they also have this little space right here so if you wanted to throw down a few things on there you can do that and then that way you can utilize the other countertop spaces as needed.

3:04Nice oven range right here. Got salt shakers and spoon rests. Then you have storage bags, aluminum foil, plastic wrap. You got all the kitchen utensils that you would need. Even a rolling bin is in here. Down here you have a colander, a little small pot. You got some oven mitts, whole nine yards right there. Bottom down here. Nice big oven if you want to cook something and a nice four burner stove top right there. One way that we save money while we travel is by using Airbnb kitchens to be able to cook almost three meals a day just so that we can bring down that food budget since that's one of the more expensive parts of travel. Especially with five people and you got to feed that many mouths. You got a nice little microwave right there. Good and wide so you can fit something into there. It's got the turntables so it cooks evenly. Up top right here you have all the plastic wear that you might need. A few mixing bowls up there. A couple of

4:04extra odds and ends up here if you do need to utilize any of that. You have plates right here. They give you plenty of plates. You can see there's a good what 10 to 15 right here plus these small ones plus these right here plus these right here. So there's lots of plates in here and some bowls for you be able to utilize that way you're not constantly washing. It does come with a dishwasher. Love Airbnb's with a dishwasher. Got a nice big cutting board. Nice big surface right here to be able to prep food on more utensils right there to cook with. Got a nice dual basin sink right here. One thing that I don't like about this sink is that there's no garbage disposal on there. So whenever you are cleaning your plates you got to make sure everything is nice and clean but they do have the the catchers in here so that it catches some of the food traps. You do have a nice sink right here hot and cold water coming through. You'll have your sprayer in here as well. Works fairly well. I wish it had a little bit more pressure to it because whenever you're getting junk off of dishes

5:06you know sometimes you need that pressure to really get down into it. Nice three windows right up top the sink right here so you can look out have some natural sunlight coming in. Turning on over to here this is kind of the coffee and knife area. Got a nice big knife block right here. You got plenty of coffee right here to be able to choose from and then they just simply have a curing machine for you to be able to utilize to make your coffee. This in between the cabinet and the refrigerator slides out and they have a few other things that you can utilize kind of a jars if buckets of spices right here some cooking oils and whatnot. There's some brown rice down there. So that's fantastic as well. Up top in this cabinet you have a bunch of cups and mugs at what you're going to need for your coffee and your drinks and this is all your utensils right there they give you a good supply of everything which is very nice and then down here you have all your pots and pans and lids and all that type of stuff that you might need to cook with and down here's all your cleaning supplies. They have a ton of cleaning supplies in here so that if you do make a mess you can clean it up. Nice big refrigerator freezer right here with the ice machine so if you do want to

6:10throw some ice into your drinks on a hot day you can do that and then over here they have a small little cabinet that has some few bigger appliances in here a toaster another coffee maker big crock pot so if you need to utilize that you can over in this little area right here this other little surface you basically have like some writing things some pins some pencils little notebooks some scissors just kind of some odds and ends kind of like a junk drawer if you will to be able to utilize. I didn't look down here what's in here oh you got some straws and some forks and some serving bowls all this type of stuff so this is fantastic some plastic wear if you want to take some plastic wear with you so I like that they have all of that in there there's an extra little bar stool right here so if you do need to utilize that but nice well stocked kitchen right there no issues with it everything work just fine so then you come over into your living room and you have a nice big giant L shaped couch right here it's very very comfortable as you can see I put down my

7:10work stuff right there got an extra chair right there you got a nice big lazy boy chair right there plenty of lamps all the way around too so if you want to have some ambiance light at night you can do that but then of course you do have a nice big ceiling fan right here and the three lights connected to that as well and turning around there's a nice big TV right there so if you wanted to watch a show you can do that and they have some little odds and ends on this little shelf below the TV a lot of games in here as well this is just a few of them here puzzles cards all that type of stuff uno jing oh this little guy in this picture right here he's kind of the star of the air beam b we'll come back to that in just a minute but that's mainly the living room right here it was nice and comfortable no issues there then I believe this is an added one room this used to be like the outside but then they realized they could throw a couple of bunk beds in here so that you could have some extra sleeping space and so our kids two of our kids slept in these beds right here great

8:11night sleeps no issues great mattresses the one thing I have to say is that one day the first night we noticed that there was a urine stain on the comforter and so we washed that and we let the air bmb host know but apparently the cleaning people didn't see that maybe it didn't get messed up enough or something like that but the way that they rectified that since we had to take the time to wash that is that they refunded us twenty five dollars so that was on point I really like that they took the time to go a little extra further with that you do have some storage space right here so if you want to put your clothes away you can do that they do have a few more games right here as well clue and life whatever this is stir the pot never heard of that a couple of extra little bins right here to organize some things and some more shelving and then since this was an addition and it's got the sliding glass door one it's going to help if the kids are making a lot of noise to cancel out a lot of that noise but also you they have a separate AC in here so that they can

9:12keep this room cool and so this worked extremely well this is a big bad boy right here and this air gets nice and chilly right there so I really like that they've included that in there to help keep this place nice and cool especially on these hot Florida days so that is that room right there like a said worked well for us being a family of five now we need to go through the back end of the house right here so coming through here you'll see these two double doors right here you can open them up and that is your washer and dryer again no issues right here plenty of sheets up top some extra cookware up top if you care to use like a blender another crock pot a little George forming grill there's also a first aid kit up there an iron and some more cleaning supplies so that's fantastic as well then in the bathroom right here you got a nice tub right here with the shower up top of course it's got the wand on there it's got this organizer caddy so if you want to organize some things you can do that the pressure in this bathroom was great I'm going to turn this to the side

10:14crank that on and you guys can see bam you get good pressure coming from this shower right there I'll go ahead and divert it at your tub flow and then you have your drain right there so fantastic tub right there you have good toilet right here plenty of pressure to flush everything down and then you have your little cabinet right there with some extra odds and ins in there hey guys a little mirror right there sink faucet and all the things down in there that you might need for your stay and then over here is the master bedroom so hey guys got another mirror right there this is a big giant closet right here so you can easily open this up there's plenty of extra linens up here there's plenty of hangers there's a fan of vacuum more pillows laundry baskets you got this whole table right here that you could throw down for your desk if you wanted to put like a computer on there something another TV here dresser right here to be able to organize all your laundry if you want to good size bed right here honestly this mattress I like didn't even feel my wife on there I wanted

11:18to look to see what kind of mattress it was but I have no clue oh look there it is a cool gel ultimate this was a fantastic mattress right there even though it's a smaller size I believe there's a queen size bed instead of a king size my wife slept here and I slept here and usually some mattresses like we can really fill each other moving around but sleeping on this thing we slept like rocks we slept really really well on this mattress so I wanted to highlight that for you guys who are sleeping with someone you know two people in one bed right there they do have some lamps on the sides if you do want to read or whatever some nice again beach decor up top there some beach pictures right here and then coming on into this bathroom here so this bathroom not as great as the other bathroom it's not a tub but the main problem here is that the pressure is not that great if I turn this on it's almost like a trickle coming out of there it's not as strong as the other one I don't know why that is because I would assume that it's all hooked up to the same pipes and

12:18there's no other water being used right now so I didn't want to point that out although I think that that could be fixed we haven't told the host about it because it wasn't that big of an issue but we probably will leave that in our private note to them but you do have these nice benches right here so if you do need to use a shower with a little seat in there it does have that which I really liked got a good toilet right here it did get clogged once I don't know if this is having the same type of pressure issues as the shower is because it did get clogged one time so I didn't want to point that out but it could have been just too much waste trying to go through and then of course you have it will sink right here with plenty of counter space over here to throw down some stuff and a nice medicine cabinet right there as well if you want to put some things on into there hey guys and then down here you have again just like the other one extra toilet paper some extra cleaning stuff and then plenty of drawers right here to be able to organize all the things and then they do have a straight near hair straightener in here and a blow dryer right

13:21there if you need to utilize that but all in all solid bathroom right here you got some hooks up top there and on the back side of the door you have more towels and rags to be able to utilize all up and down this they have bathroom towels they have beach towels they have hand rags so it's well stocked in that department right there all righty and then now that we're done in the master let's move on over to the last bedroom right here which is one where our kids the third kid slept got a great night sleep right here does have a TV in there if you like watching TV at night big dresser drawers right here so if you want to organize all your stuff you can do that I got two lamps on either side honestly you could probably sleep two people in this bed I wonder if it's the same uh not yet it is it's that cool gel ultimate so I know that the kids got a great night sleep on that um and then in here you have a nice little closet with some extra linen some hangers and plenty of space down there to be able to put your things down so uh all in all all the

14:25rooms were great in this Airbnb and the reason why I say that this is the best one for a budget is because it's a mobile home and whenever you think mobile home you think oh it's not going to be that great but we have stayed that I can think of three mobile homes in the five years that we've been traveling one you get a great uh price for an Airbnb that has a lot of room like if this were to be an actual like house house like uh you know bricks and mortar house it would cost so much more but because it's a mobile home it's uh you definitely get it at a better price which I'm a fan of because you also get more room uh in the in the uh place in the Airbnb so I absolutely love that aspect of it one thing about this particular one like the other Airbnb's we stayed at they the mobile home Airbnb's that we've stayed at they've mainly been like on a farm or something like that this one's different this one's like a little community of mobile homes and RVs it's not like

15:28an RV resort it's just like this mishmash of all the different kinds of things which I thought was really interesting because we've never had a community of this it's like a little neighborhood of all these types of things but there's one mobile home down this way I think it was a mobile home yeah that uh I mentioned earlier had this little guy right here this is Sheldon and if you walk down the road about two minutes he is outside at the road and you can call his name and he's a tortoise that comes out you there's some uh if there's flowers on the ground you can feed it to him kids absolutely loved Sheldon so I wanted to point that out because it's just like an extra thing that we weren't expecting to have at this Airbnb I did want to point out that there's also a swimming pool at the front we did not get a chance to go swimming in it but I do want to point out that that is there and I believe you if you're staying in an RV which doesn't pertain to us there's like extra bath and showers and whatnot that you can utilize but for the price that you're going to get on if you're
