The focus is defending key bases and infrastructure from drone and missile threats in harsh Arctic conditions. For the first time, parts of the exercise are extending into Greenland. There, special forces are honing skills to move personnel, equipment and supplies across the vast island. Planners say this builds readiness to support Denmark if a crisis hits, since Greenland is an autonomous Danish territory. Military experts note that while past political talk about Greenland's third debate, this training is standard prep unrelated to those issues. Denmark is fully involved, coordinating every step with US-North and command. Across Alaska, scenarios include National Guard units at Fort Greeley, shielding a missile defense site from drones. US and Canadian forces at Allison Air Force Base are practicing cruise missile defenses
