Apple Bans ByteDance's Chinese Apps!

0:00Hey everybody, Nick Espinoza, your chief security fanatic here, just a very quick video I've been traveling less couple of days and also I really haven't had a chance to do videos and podcasts and all of that. But I just heard this quick news that Apple is blocking US users from downloading bite dances apps that are coming out of China. If you recall bite dance own TikTok, they spun it off and now it's owned by Oracle's founder Larry Ellison and I think a conglomerate of people. They are actually blocking bite dances Chinese apps that are coming out of that. I think that's a great start. I really do think that that is a huge problem we've seen data, creation risks, vulnerabilities that can be exploited, surveillance, all of these kinds of things. So I think it's great. Good on you Apple. Hopefully Google follows suit and everybody else, but here we go. So that's just your quick news of the day. Thanks for listening.
