0:00From around the world, these are the latest international news headlines. S strikes are pounding Tehran and Iranian officials are urging young people to form human chains to protect power plants. This comes as before the expiration of President Donald Trump's latest deadline for the Islamic Republic to reopen the crucial straight-up for moves, or face punishing strikes on its infrastructure. Meanwhile, Tehran has rejected a 45-day ceasefire proposal insisting on a permanent end to the war, and at least 18 people are killed in airstrikes targeting Iran's Al-Bawr's province, state media reports. Gunfire has erupted outside a building housing the Israeli consulate in East Hamble, leaving at least two assailants dead and a police officer wounded, Turkey's Habiterk Broadcaster reports. Artemis II has completed a record-breaking trip around the moon, filled with far-side views and a total solar eclipse. The lunar crews had revealed views of the far-side never beheld by eyes until now. I'm Charles Dillethesma.
