I'm Ben Thomas with NAP News Minute. Canada's retaliatory tariffs on about $20 billion worth of U.S. goods took effect today as the trade war escalates. Meanwhile, Sess Soutel reports it was a down day for stocks. Stocks drifted lower on Wall Street as traders returned from a holiday weekend. The S&P 500 fell 6.10% Tuesday. The Dow gave back 627 points, that's about 1.2%, then as that composite fell 3.10%. Oil prices rose again as the war with a raw drag done. The price of Brent crude got close to $100 a barrel. The yield on the 10-year treasury rose to 4.79%. Sess Soutel, New York. And Metta is launching a personal artificial intelligence agent named Muse for people 18 and over. It can help with day-to-day tasks like schedules shopping and long-term goals, met as stressing Muse's safety and privacy features. I'm Ben Thomas.
