0:00I'm Marcela Sanchez with an AP News Minute. The U.S. and Iran received a draft proposal calling for a 45-day ceasefire and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to mid-east officials told the AP the plan comes from Egyptian, Pakistani and Turkish mediators. President Donald Trump has threatened to strike Iran's power plants and bridges if the Strait isn't opened by tonight, Washington time. Iran has blocked oil shittments there. U.S. and Israeli strikes in Iran killed more than 25 people today. Iran launched strikes on Israel and its Gulf Arab neighbors. Damage was reported in several cities in Israel. The U.S. rescued a wounded aviator after his plane was downed in Iran on Friday. President Trump said the service member was rescued in an operation involving dozens of armed aircraft. He said another crew member was rescued hours after the crash. I'm Marcela Sanchez.
