Last July, we've reached a deal in agreement with the European Commission's president setting a 15 percent tariff on most goods today. As usual, they were not adhering to the agreement that we have. And the president's boosting auto tariffs to 25 percent, which could jolt a global economy already battered by the Iran War. The president believes the higher tariffs will force the European automakers to more quickly shift factory production to the U.S. Sakamegani Washington Oil prices ease today, Brent crude settling just above $108 per barrel. On Wall Street, the S&P closed a winning week by adding another 3-10 percent, the NASDAQ 9-10s, but the Dow closed lower on the day. Down 152 points, I'm Ben Thomas.
