0:00I'm Ed Donacu with an AP News Minute. President Trump says he's been rejected by NATO and most allies to join the mission against Iran to secure the critical straight-of-form moves. I think NATO is making a very foolish mistake, and I've long said that I wonder whether or not NATO would ever be there for us. So this was a great test, because we don't need them, but they should have been there. oil prices moved higher as the standoff in the straight continues. The director of the National Counterterrorism Center, Joe Kent, announced his resignation, saying he cannot in good conscience back the war in Iran. It's a good thing that he's out, because he said that Iran was not a threat. Iran was a threat every country. It realized what a threat Iran was. The question is whether or not they wanted to do something about it. On social media, Kent says Iran posed no immediate threat to the U.S. and it's clear the U.S. started the war due to pressure from Israel. I'm Ed Donahue.
