President Trump has expanded his threat against Iran to include strikes on all power plants and bridges if Tehran does not meet his Tuesday 8 p.m. eastern-time deadline for accepting a ceasefire deal and reopening the straight-of-form moves. Says Sutel on how markets have responded. The S&P 500 rose 4.10 per cent Monday. The Dow Jones industrial average added 165 points that's about 4.10 per cent than has that composite climbed half a percent. Crude oil prices also see-sawed throughout the day as uncertainty remained about what will happen in the war with Iran and how long it will slow down the global flow of crude oil. Treasurer yields held relatively steady in the bond market. Seth Sutel, New York. Oil prices were up about 8.10 per cent. Benchmark US crude above $112 per barrel. Brent just below 110.
