0:00I'm Ben Thomas with an AP News Minute. The war in the Middle East has now killed more than 1500 people in Iran, more than a thousand in Lebanon, 15 in Israel and 13 US military members. Meanwhile, Donna Warder reports there's been more violence in the occupied West Bank. Israeli settlers rampage through several Palestinian villages in the West Bank over the weekend, smashing vehicles, setting fires and wounding several men. The violence comes as Israel's government presses ahead with new settlements in the occupied West Bank. On Tuesday in Um El-Kair, a settler struck a five-year-old Palestinian girl with his car. Her mother, Zainab Hafelein, says at first she thought her daughter was grave, but she took her to the hospital and was told she's fine. The United Nations says 25 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli settlers and soldiers in the West Bank from the beginning of the year until March 15th. I'm Donna Warder. And I'm Ben Thomas.
